So, I was going to buy one of these for my dog. But I read so many reviews that said the sizes were too small. So I worried. It seemed there had to be a sizing chart somewhere. And there is! Here:

You have to measure your dog's chest and neck, and that tells you the size. According to this chart, my miniature poodle, who weighs 14 pounds, is a medium!

I got it for my sister's mixed breed as a gift. She loves it and so does her dog but my mom had to extend the neck and belly velco straps with her sewing skills. I bought the size that should fit for one of the breeds that she is mixed with but should've gotten a size larger because she is a mix and has a deep chest. Buy a size bigger if your dog is on the border of a size, that's my advice. Aside from this it is a wonderful jacket. Both owner and dog really enjoy it. Her dog gets really happy when she sees the jacket:)

I got this for a doberman pincher pup. At first she tried to take it off, by reaching around and biting the rear end of the coat to get it off. So I decided to 'train' her to wear it. I kept her REALLY occupied, chasing a frisbee NON-STOP for 15 min or so for the first few times I put it on her. I then took her right into the house, and ended the play session, removing the coat in the house. If she realizes she must wear it when playing in the cold, she does with no complaint. She got used to it very quickly, and now leaves it alone. I notice it keeps her from shivering so soon after we go out. It fits her body perfectly, and with that tall collar standing up, she looks like 'Elvis' pup. Great Value. It is very well made, and great looking.

UPDATE 11/7/12 I got another pup in 2009 and she also wears this coat, but will tug at the backend of it sometimes, even at 3 yrs old now.But she leaves it on.. . I still LOVE these coats for cold non-snow weather.. I get coats that cover the stomach for deep snow... (fido fleece), but these are easy to put on and do the job of keeping the muscles just warm enough to keep them from getting injurys so easily... I just, last week, purchased 2 more of them as one coat is wearing out finally (after almost 5YEARS of heavy use), and the other has been chewed abit, it has holes in it, from the pup... I forgot to take it away after taking it off her. IT still goes on , but finally the strap under the belly gave out, on the oldest coat.(5yrs) I could sew it back on easily, but the rest of the coat got chewed up so I decided a new one is in order.

I'm glad I read the other reviews before sizing this jacket. I have an 80-lb lab who is older & with a bit of a stomach, & based on the sizing of most other dog jackets I would have gotten an XXL. However, after reading the other reviews here & checking the measurements I ordered an XL. I'm glad I did because it is more than big enough for her. She has never had a jacket or sweater on her, and she seems very comfortable with this one. The quality is good & the jacket is attractive & well made. The dimensions are accurate, so you can trust the size chart too.

This is great product but I barely consider my dog a large (50 lbs) and the "large" didn't even fit her so buy larger than you think. I mid-size dog could be a large and a large dog an XL or an XXL

This toy takes more effort to get food out than the Buster Cube, which I like because it occupies the dog longer. I find that the cube, even on its "hardest" setting only takes a few minutes to get out most of the food, and then the rest doesn't come out no matter how long the dogs work it. With the bottle the dogs can get nearly all the food out if they keep at it.

At first you should fill the bottle so that it is over half full. This way food can come out more easily when it is on its side. This will encourage the dog to play with it. Once the food level goes down food will only come out as they toss and pull the bottle. It took my dog a few days to get to this, but now she seems to have mastered it. She stands the bottle up and knocks it over, putting food into the neck, then she works the rope a bit and manages to get a piece of kibble out. When I first got the toy I thought she would never be able to figure it out, but she has. Even so, it takes a fair amount of work to get out just a few pieces of food, so it can keep them occupied all day.

Our 16 month old yellow lab loves to play with empty 2 liter pop bottles. I bought him this toy because I worried he would cut his mouth and gums on the sharp plastic shards of those flimsy bottles. No worry about that with the Tug-a-Jug...this toy will most likely survive through the next millennium!

To fill with treats, just twist off the bottom; couldn't be easier. It's a lot of fun watching our dog figure out how to get at the goodies inside.

I honestly don't think the rope pull is going to last very long; especially if you are buying this for an aggressive chewer. However, don't let that stop you from buying the tug-a-jug. Even without the rope, it's still a great and challenging toy.

Tucker was nervous about this toy at first (as you'll see in the video) but really warmed up to it quickly and has enjoyed gnawing on it. However, this has not worked very well for us as a treat dispenser. I consider Tucker to be quite a clever puppy, but after fiddling with the tug-a-jug for a couple days, he just began bringing the thing to me and dropping it at my feet for me to dispense the treats for him. (I suppose that may be evidence of just how clever he is!)

I have a medium size dog 38 pounds. He enjoys to chew on things but I have never thought of him as a heavy chewer. The night I received this he was so excited about it. It was so tempting to see, hear and smell the treats. Well, within 20 minutes the toy was in the garbage. He chewed off the rubber toy that blocks the treats from coming out. He then started to chew where the smell of the treats is able to escape. The plastic fell apart so easily! He then started to break off little pieces. I woudl not recommend this for a medium or large sized dog!

Our dog loves her Bad CUZ, but this toy she loves more than any other. She's a VERY tough chewer, and it's survived for quite some time with no damage. One thing protect your toes with this toy it's pretty heavy and does get swung around a bit. I wouldn't recommend this toy if you have low tables with knick-knacks, sensitive shins or teeny kids that may get bonked with it. Ours has gotten thrown (by the dog) repeatedly down the stairs onto a hard floor and hasn't broken yet.

As far as treats to go into it remember that the rope is knotted inside the jug, so don't put anything into the jug that's soft or the rope will end up smelling REALLY nasty...

This flannel-lined blanket really must work; my short-haired dog was really unhappy on winter walks before we got it, but now she wants to stay outside just as long as she does in the autumn. It runs large, though: I started with an XL (my dog measures 24 inches from neck to base of tail, matching the XL description), but it was enormous--way too big to stay on her body. She's a lean dog, though. The Large fits perfectly despite being only 20" long. The seams seem well-constructed, and the lining is soft. It's reversible, with reflective striping on both faces. Be warned that the flannel lining can create some static build-up.

I could not believe how quickly I received the dog coat it's really nice! The flannel lining inside is very soft, and the outside is totally waterproof. Unfortunately, I ordered it a bit too big for my pitbull, so I gave it to a friend who has a large doberman Heidi loves her new coat! It can be very difficult to find coats for large dogs, especially affordable ones that last this is a great buy!

I should start by saying that my dog weighs about 60 pounds, and is about 22 inches from his shoulder to his rump. So, he's right in between a large and an XL according to the specs of this product. I first ordered the large, which I had to return. I could get the size large on him, but overall it was not long enough. The belt hit him around his ribcage rather than his waist, so the velcro ends of the belt overlapped by only an inch. I returned the size large because the belt was straining at his ribcage and it seemed likely to open when he moved around. Then I ordered the size XL. Unfortunately, it was too large for him. Even when I closed the chest velcro as tightly as it would go, it was still way too large, which caused the coat to sit further back on his torso. This meant the belt hit him at the smallest part of his waist, and the velcro belt was too large (not to mention that the belt was in the path of pee stream here.) But I did like the look and feel of the coat, and my buddy loved having it on, so I altered it by shortening the chest flaps with some creative sewing. This solved the fit problem. Overall, I'd say sizing could be an issue with this product. Perhaps there is not much demand for coats to fit dogs the size of my mutt, but I wish there had been a size between large and XL. I like the materials of the coat, and it seems to be very comfortable for my dog. One note about the materials is that the reflective strip wasn't attached very well and the 3 or 4 inches closest to the neck started dangling within the first week of wear.

I ordered this coat for my dog becasue its suspose to be a great coat for much colder places. when i did order i was expecting i would have to resize the neck and tummy straps since i have to do that many times with other coats. when i came in the mail i took it out and put it on my dog so i can start to adjust it before we need it. i was so happy becasue it was perfect for her. She is oddly shaped for coats since she is a muscle dog (pitt bull) She is so cute and i cant wait to use it this winter.

This is the 2nd blanket I purchased for my German Short Hair. She plays HARD! This blanket stays put even when she wrestles with the larger labs. I really like the reflective tape on it, as she does go out at night,and sometimes ventures toward the road. The fact that it is reversable is like having 2 blankets. There is a small rip in it already, probably from barbed wire on the farm, but it hasn't frayed at all,and I will patch it. I haven't washed it yet, but I am confident it will look like new when I do. Mud wipes off the nylon side. I feel this is a great value for the money!!

When I ordered this item I had never purchased a pet costume before and I wasn't really sure what to expect. When I got the costume, it was perfect! I had ordered it for my rabbit, who is about the size of an obese Chihuahua. I had worried that the complexity of the costume would make to difficult to wrestle my rabbit into, but the simple Velcro closer made it a sinch! She was absolutely adorable in it. The "regal-ness" of the pirate hat wasn't quite what I had pictures from the item's online photo, but it was still adorable (albeit kind of squished looking). It arrived within 48 hours (which I wasn't expecting) and with shipping it was still under 15$! Great buy for those who want their pet to be a pirate.

I just purchased 2 of these for my young cats so I would have something to take them to the vet in. They were delivered today and I can't believe the quality of this product. It is sturdy, well-designed and comes with step by step instructions protected in a plastic sleeve. The cats took to them right away. The designers thought of everything including a safety clip to ensure that the front flap stays zipped and Velcro patches so you can roll up the flap and keep it open so they can play in it. Our cats are 12 lbs and 13 lbs respectively, and they are just the right size for them.

We were skeptical of putting a teething yellow lab pup in a fabric crate, but when we saw this in a local store, we were impressed! Very sturdy and tight! Extemely well made.

We bought the E36, even though it was a little small for a full size labrador retriever, and we're glad we did. It's perfect for him now; he's 9 weeks old and he took to it like a den. He walks right in when he's tired. A few minor corrections about not mouthing it, along with a few great toys and rawhide chews, and he's been absolutely fine. He loves it.

It's surprisingly nice to be able to open the top as well. We can pick him right up and carry him outside after a nap.

I would recommend using a little softened bar soap on the zippers, because they're very tight. And of course, I can't recommend leaving a teething pup in it for long hours. Nor would you put an aggresive or vicious animal in this crate.

We keep it right in our bedroom and the zipper jingles when he scratches the door. We get up and lift him out and bring him to the door. Fabulous!

By the time he outgrows this crate, he probably won't need it, but I may have to buy him the larger one anyway just because he loves it!

I had looked everywhere to find this crate in the older style model which the company changed about a year ago. The description when I ordered it said it had the stake tie down straps which is specifically what I wanted to secure crates on a rack in my van for travel to shows and the pictures showed the larger mesh window areas of the older model which provide better ventilation. What I got was the newer model which doesn't have tie down straps and has smaller mesh windows. The picture still shows the larger mesh window area and stake tie down straps, which is not what the newer model has. The description has now been changed to reflect the newer mode, but picture has not been changed. Amazon should make sure their pictures and description reflect exactly what they are selling!

This brand crate is well made and holds up well as I have three of the older model this size and two of a larger size model. I do not like the changes the company made to the newer version though being smaller mesh windows on sides and no tie down straps.

I recently adopted a 5 month old female German Shepherd / Doberman puppy and needed a crate to carry in the car or keep at the office, etc... I've got one of the Midwest metal crates (42") that works great but it's tremendously heavy to move around frequently!

Insert the Firstrax Port-A-Crate (36"). I'd been considering the Noz2Noz crates but was afraid that she would tear the crate apart after seeing some of the pictures people had posted online. This crate was about half the cost of the N2N crate (I got this crate for $50 direct from Amazon) and seemed to fit the bill perfectly for a worthwhile "test" crate.

Pros:

-Light weight (couple lbs max)

-Great build / fabric quality

-Easy to put up / break down

-Sturdy buckles to keep folded / closed

-Excellent ventilation without being too open like a metal crate

-Top zips open for easy access for stubborn dogs / water bowls / etc...

-Definitely gives the dog that "den" feeling

Cons:

-Soft crate is easily destroyed by a determined / untrained dog

-No removable layer on the bottom makes it difficult to clean if there are any "accidents"

Unlike some of the other reviewers, I didn't experience any funky smells when I opened it up.

Combine the light weight with the cost and build quality and this crate is a definite winner! My roommate bought one for his dog; it's a LOT more convenient than breaking down the metal crate for portability.

I gave it the 4 star rating primarily because of the difficulty in cleaning it. It there was a removable layer in the bottom (I suppose a crate mat would help) that would make it 5 stars.

PS: The folded down crate makes a great impromptu barrier for dogs that want to go upstairs when they're not supposed to! :-)

I bought this originally as a fat cat carrier, without realizing the bottom was soft (duh). But it got put to good use, we got an 8wk old yellow lab puppy that we didn't want to leave downstairs in the crate overnight(by himself). So we put this soft crate next to our bed for him to sleep. He loves it! We just put a towel in the bottom and a stuffed animal and he lies right down and goes to sleep. He never even whined! He does try to dig and chew a bit when he wakes up, but so far he has not been able to damage it. I think its just cozy enough that he is comfortable and the top opening is perfect for me to get him in and out. I'll be looking to get a larger size one when he outgrows this one! Highly recommend!

I made my collie a real nice doghouse at another house we lived in a few years ago. Now, I would like to keep him warm out in the cold, when we have to go out for a while. He's not house broke when we leave him alone, so we have no choice. I love the insulation for this log cabin dog house. Good idea! Only I would buy '2' Outback Dog House Clear Doors and put one inside and one outside. I previously bought a dog house at Tractor Supply that was not the same brand as the insulation. Therefore, the door opening was on the wrong side. That did not stop me, however, I just turned it upside down and now my dog has a cozy option.

This liner perfectly fits the Precision Log Cabin dog house. I purchased the small one for the small dog house. It really makes the interior of the dog house warm and cozy! Any breeze that may have gotten through the dog house can't permeate this liner. The liner is installed before the roof is screwed on the house. There is a flap that wraps around the top of the dog house and when the roof is put on the house, the liner isn't going to go anywhere or slip. The door opening aligns perfectly also. I additionally purchased the dog flap door to keep the wind at bay, and I think my little dog can't be any happier! It really does the job and although my little dog loves to run around outside (she thinks she's a ranch dog, and we don't want to burst her bubble that she's not), I can hardly get her to come out of her house now. She loves it!

(note: before putting on the dog flap door, put liner in first, so you can know exactly at what height to install the door. I installed the door first and then had to adjust it afterward because I didn't take in to account the liner height. The flaps can get caught up when the dog enters the house if it's not at the right height and will not provide the proper protection from the wind and cold.)

I was happy that this insulated liner seemed better than I thought it might be. It fit well and since I just started using it it seems good for my older blue heeler. It has been in the low 40's and will be dropping more soon. I added a thermal reflective warmth pet blanket that I also bought on amazon that I can wash and it really seems to work well. If you have dogs that claw their beds allot, this would probably rip quickly unless you added[ something tougher on the floor part. For my dog it's going to be good.

Ordered this for my 30 lb dog, measurements said it would fit but it is way too small. It fits around her waist and legs ok but the height of it needs to be bigger (looks like a small bikini bottom when on) And the width between the legs is not even close to covering the area that needs it the most! If you order this up the size by 1 or 2. It does fit the waist but that is about it. Total waste of my money.

We were desperate to teach our puppy how to tell us when he needed to go outside and this did the trick! He learned how to ring these bells within 15 minutes of hanging them on the door and he could not have been prouder of himself. However, after going to the grocery store for an hour and coming home, we found the yellow strap of the PoochieBells chewed in half and laying beside a big pile of... well, you know. The pup was obviously trying very hard to get the darned bells to open the door for him! I'd love to see a heavier strap, and faster grocery shopping.

I've always been very particular about what I feed my animals and that extends to any sort of supplements and treats. Oh, thank you PetNaturals! I had a dog with terribly ichy skin. I took her to the vet and the vet suggested omega 3. She is a picky little 10 pound dog and couldn't get her to eat any of the omega 3 supplements. Then I stumbled on to these soft chews. She loves them! I give her just half of one a day, since she is so small, and her skin is so much better now. She itches less and her skin isn't all dried out and red. The chews worked so well for her that I started to give them to my other dog. He is also 10 pounds and gets half of a chew each day. He didn't have an skin problems, but he had really fine hair-like fur. His coat is much thicker now and even the groomer asked me what I was feeding him because she noticed the difference and was impressed by his fuller coat. Her diet is the same as the other dogs (Taste of the Wild), so I have struggled to find something to treat the dandruff (shampoos are a quick fix, but I don't want to bathe her every other day, which can also dry her skin out). These supplements have actually made a difference. I was skeptical at first, but she seems to be scratching a lot less than she was before the supplements. Perhaps it is all in my mind, but her dandruff seems to have lessened due to more nutrients going to her skin and coat. She also loves to eat the supplements. They look and smell like little chewy bones, so she thinks she is getting a treat. One of my dogs (the picky one) won't go near them, though.

My biggest concern is that these say one supplement for every 25 lbs of dog per day. My dogs are 10-15 lbs. so I have to cut them in half (I am very wary of overdosing on supplements. I would appreciate graded sizes for different breeds of dogs (small, medium, large) so that I didn't have to cut them in half, but that is just one small concernnot anything too serious. Otherwise, I hope it keeps working because her itchiness is driving us both crazy!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program My dog has a fairly healthy coat, but she does occasionally have issues with dandruff ~ something that is likely more bothersome for me than for her, as she doesn't scratch at her skin that much. So when these came available on Vine, I thought I'd give them a try.

The good is that she really seems to like them. The bad is that I don't see any improvement in her coat. Also, I noticed that they have not stayed fresh, even though I've used the resealable feature on the bag. The ones left are hard and crunchy instead of chewy. (This has not deterred my dog from eating them, however.)

I will probably not buy them in the future.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program We have three dogs (two mixes and one full bred) weighing from 55lbs to 95lbs. All three love these and readily eat them up. We already have them on limited diet foods that help with skin issues so we didn't really notice much of a change on them. In the past we have had pretty large vet bills due to allergies. The combination of high quality food and these "treats" have lessened the scratching and the off cycle trips to the vet. Our vet comments each visit on the quality of our dogs coats. I can't help but think this product has played a part. If your dog has skin issues this seems to be a product worth trying especially if you are able to pass it off as a treat.

Average size lab slept on it and less than 12 hours had three holes on the canvas and frame is bent..... Four year old dog is not destructive....don't buy this bed it is junk....

I purchased this divider since I threw away the one my crate came with (didnt think I was going to need it). I rescued a second puppy a few years later and this fit the crate perfectly. If you don't use a divider for crate training, you will be quite unsatisfied. I recommend a divider if the crate is too big.

Our dog is getting older and so is the stomach upsets. I asked the vet about her eating grass all the time and her gas can clear a room. He said to try yogurt, it works for a short time but then I tried this product. I like it alot! She stopped eating grass and the house smells alot better! Without taking the proper procedure for introducing a new pet food to my cats, I immediately changed their diet. This was a major mistake! My cats suddenly started

I have a cat who has always been prone to vomiting, and who turned out to be allergic to canned foods. A couple of months ago, she started throwing up every single day, every single meal. She was losing weight fast, and while the vet's antinausea meds, AI meds and the diet of 100% raw food we started her on cut the vomiting down to once a day on average, my poor cat was still famished and unhappy, and down to 7lbs.

I have a 9-year old cat who throws up daily, sometimes after every meal that she eats. I tried this product on the recommendation of a friend, and I have been very happy with it. Since going on the product at the beginning of July, my cat has thrown up only about 3-4 times TOTAL. I tried to decrease the frequency of the dosage, and that is when she threw up. When I went back to the original dosage, she stopped and has been fine since. I highly recommend trying this!
