Shipping: Packed well & arrived in good condition.

Assembly: The panels slide & lock together, took no time at all to assemble. Came with spare parts for the slide-click-together hardware,

which was good, since one was broken. This is the ONLY plastic part in the product, and is easily swapped with a philips screwdriver.

Tools: None required, but helpful to have a #2 Philips screwdriver, and maybe a small mallet to tap in the door's metal hinge-pins.

Materials: Metal hinges and door-latch, high-quality furniture-grade materials (not Ikea-style veneer), solid wood.

Finish: Furniture-grade finish, but is more of a brown-mahogany than red-mahogany. (Would also match Walnut furniture).

Sizing: My small-ish beagle could probably have fit in the small unit, but ordered the medium, as per size-chart, since she was borderline on the charts.

Dog: was happily snoring inside within 5 minutes of assembly.

Value: This was more money than the other solutions out there, but is completely furniture-grade, and solid wood. Nothing cheap-feeling about it!

Improvement Wish/Tip: I wish there were some clips inside to hide/slash the slide-in door slat. Wound up wrapping the slats in

some of the packing material, and placing UNDER the dog-bed.

Overall: Big thumbs up! Fits in perfectly with high-end furniture in the Living Room.

I purchased two of these for my two dogs hoping, based on the one 5 star review, that it would hold up to my Lab/Pit mix but unfortunately it did not. It took less then 5 minutes and I was finding large chunks of brown plastic all over the floor. I gave it 3 stars because I think it would be an decent toy for the right dog. However, it's not a safe toy for an aggressive chewer and it's also quite heavy.

This was a replacement for my boy's favorite toy that his sister snuck outside and lost. While not quite the same as his beloved lost toy, it is becoming his favorite. It is well made, sturdy, and up to a GSD's "jaws of steel". A great chew toy!

I received this and immediately noticed the foul smell. I put it outside to "air" out to no avail. It's a nice shape, but I don't know what's in the rubber mixture. STINKY!!!!

It is durable and my siberian husky can't destroy it ....Or at least has not within since I gave it to him a month ago

This is great with all the shapes to it and I can throw it and it will bounce in many directions and the dogs throw it in the air themselves and it is lasting very well.

Exellent quality for a dogs hoodie. Only complaint I have is the sizing. I bought an xx large for a 45 pound and a medium for a 12 pound dog because I knew their sizing was off a bit. The medium for a 12 pound chihuihui was perfect. The xx large for my 45 pound dog fit perfect everywhere but the length. The length was about a foot to long. But if I bought it for the length the chest never would have fit, would have been way to small. I knew this but it was more important for the chest and legs to fit properly. I took it to a local taylor to have the length altered, also had his name embroidered on it for the personal touch. I advize you to order large and have altered if necessary, much easier than a return. I hoped this helps you when sizing your dog.

The collars from Dublin Dog are awesome! They're beyond functional and super stylish at the same time. We have multiple collars from DD for our two dogs. We love to take them swimming in the lake nearby and it's so convenient to let them off their leashes and dive into the water and then literally wipe off the collar when they're done. No damp cloth collar to dry or worry about that nasty mildew smell... Works great also when they play in the woods and get a little muddy just run it under water with some soap and it wipes right off and dries with a towel in two seconds. And when I say stylish we get tons of compliments on these collars! I'm a little obsessed, but I have collars for each "season/holiday" for the dogs and get compliments every time I change the collars on them. They're a great buy as they're so durable, functional, and stylish!

Love this collar and so does my dog...heavy duty and very durable

has no smell and does not hold water

Best Deals for All Style, No Stink Dog Collar, 100% Waterproof

The collar is a nice plastic that is easy to clean by just rinsing it. Another plus, is that it is great for the dog to go swimming in. The problems with the collar include that the plastic is too thick and is very bulky on my smaller dog (Jack Russell Terrier). Also the ring to attach the leash to is too small, and it is very difficult to clip on a leash. If these things were fixed it would be a great collar.

I have very high energy actvie dogs. My dogs love the water in the summer. We were having constant difficulty with having to wash thier nylon collars after they had been in the water and they would still stink. This collar is really cute and so far has not gotten dirty or smelly. Love the design and the fit is perfect. I will be buying more of these collar's.

Only one of the sides is adjustable, and the tide that does adjust doesn't go quite as small as I need it to. This was being used to replace the lead for my dogs booster seat, that hooks onto his harness. When the lead is at it's shortest my dog is actually able to get out of his carseat, and I am afraid he will get hurt. Unfortunately I took the tag off of it, thinking it would work. It didn't take long for me to realize I was wrong.

We own several of the Nina Ottosson dog toys, and my dogs love them all. The Dog Magic is the best one to start with if your dog is new to puzzle toys; it's easy for the dog to figure out. You hide treats in the bone-shaped depressions under the plastic bone-shaped cups, and the dog has to figure out how to dislodge the cups to get to the treats.

The trick to puzzle toys is to start easy and work your way up. Start by placing treats in the depressions and allowing the dog to get the treats (don't use the cups yet.) Your dog will figure this out pretty fast, then you can begin using the cups. Place the cups across the depressions the wrong way, so they are easy to dislodge. Once the dog is confident doing this, start placing the cups in the depressions the correct way and let the dog figure out how to remove them. You can make it more difficult by hiding treats under only a few of the cups for the dog to sniff out.

If your dog ever gets bored, or can't seem to figure it out, help them by encouraging them to move the cups, or backtrack to the previous step in learning the puzzle. Every dog learns differently one of my dogs picks the cups up in her mouth, while the other removes them with his paws.

I like the plastic Nina Ottosson toys because they are so easy to clean. The cups fit right in the top rack of the dishwasher, and the base is easy to hand wash in the sink. A note of caution: this is an interactive toy only, and not meant to be left out for the dog to play with by himself. The plastic is too soft to withstand heavy chewing and would be destroyed in no time. I keep mine out of reach of the dogs when we're not playing the games together.

My dog is alone every day for at least 10 hours, so I love to leave him food based toys to play with. I was so excited to see this line of new puzzles to try although the price kind of put me off. But when it comes to my pets, no expense spared, right?! I liked the fact that this one was available in plastic (the Brick), making it easier to clean and less likely to absorb doggie slobber.

Unfortunately, the puzzle is just too easy. It took him maybe a couple tries to figure it out at the most difficult level, and he can now empty the entire thing in just a few minutes (my video clip shows him doing it, and not even at a very fast pace). This is in comparison to other treat filled toys that can keep him busy literally for more than an hour.

I'm going to try and modify the toy by trying to find something more challenging to put in between the sliding pieces, like heavy blocks or fishing sinkers, but I expect it will only slow him down slightly. I do think though that it's a nice alternative to just putting down a bowl of kibble, I can put my small dog's entire meal into the spaces it has, and certainly can help slow down a fast eater as well.

I've since also gotten the Tornado, it was in a local store for only $30 and since my dog did seem to at least enjoy the Brick I figured it was worth getting and hopefully would be more difficult. I would say it was maybe only slightly more difficult, and only came with 3 of the white bone "blocks" used to increase the difficulty, I use several more from the Brick toy which thankfully are the same size to make this one harder, but it still takes my dog a fairly short time to finish with it.

If you are just looking for a fun toy, maybe something different to put their daily kibble in, and don't care about keeping them occupied for an extended amount of time, you might enjoy these puzzles. If you are looking for toys that will help occupy your dog while away from home, this is a fairly limited toy.

Check some of my other reviews for other toys that I recommend and that are much cheaper as well!

UPDATE: Recently I also got the Twister puzzle from this same line, and I have to say, this one actually is a bit challenging and takes him awhile to get the food out. Instead of the bones easily coming out when he paws at them, he has to pull these bones out in order to slide the tiles. The tiles are also in a circle, so he has to slide them in order, rather than just randomly pushing them as is the case with the other toys. So it takes him much longer to get his treats out with that game. However, I'm not sure I'd recommend it for all dogs, as you are basically encouraging them to chew on the bones, and he also will take the entire toy, flip it over, and pull out the black rubber feet on the bottom which to him seem the same as the bones on the top! Problem is, those are very small and could be easily swallowed. Shelties (at least the ones I have owned) are just not really into chewing non-edible items (most won't even chew plain rawhide bones) so this is not a big issue for me. But it could be a bit safety issue for another dog, and particularly I would not use that toy with a large dog at all, at least not without supervision. We've had this toy a bit longer now, and he no longer flips it over and it does still take him a reasonable amount of time to empty (still pretty darn fast though, and kids in particular love to watch him solve the puzzle!)

Best Deals for Nina Ottosson's Interactive Dog Toy

We own several of the Nina Ottosson dog toys, and our dogs love playing with all of them. The Dog Brick is a good toy for dogs with a little experience with puzzle toys; start with the Dog Spinny or Dog Magic if your dog is new to these types of toys. The Dog Brick holds treats in roundand bone-shaped depressions covered with slider blocks and bone-shaped cups. The dog has to remove the cups and slide the blocks to get to the treats.

As with all puzzle toys, the trick to teaching your dog is to start easy and work your way up. Without using the cups, place treats in the bone-shaped depressions and let the dog see them and get the treats. Then place treats in the round depressions, slide the blocks so they are only half-covering the treats, and let the dog get them. Once your dog is confident sliding the blocks, cover the treats all the way and allow the dog to slide the blocks to get to the treats. Finally, you can replace the cups in the middle bone-shaped depressions and let the dog figure out the entire thing. You can make it more difficult for your dog by hiding treats under only a few of the blocks for them to sniff out.

My dogs have lots of experience with puzzle toys and they figured this one out very quickly, so I like that you can adjust the difficulty to make it different every time. One of my dogs uses her mouth to dislodge the cups and slide the blocks, while the other likes to use his paws to move them. Part of the fun in these games is learning more about your dog as you play!

I prefer the plastic Nina Ottosson toys to the wooden ones because they are so easy to clean. The cups go in the top rack of the dishwasher, and the base can easily be handwashed in the sink. A word of caution: These toys are not meant to be left out for the dog to play with by himself. The plastic is too soft for determined chewing, and could easily be destroyed. Mine are placed out of the dogs' reach when we are not playing the games with the dogs.

Honest reviews on Nina Ottosson's Interactive Dog Toy

This is the first interactive puzzle I purchased for my dog, a 6 month old mixed breed. She figured it out immediately at the most difficult setup, which was fun for us. However, she also quickly damaged the plastic bones and quickly pulled off the easily removable plastic non-skid feet. She could have easily swallowed it, as it's a small piece. The toy definitely isn't meant for hours of play (unlike the advertisement), and should not be used without supervision.

It took my border terrier 1 day to figure out the basic principles of this puzzle, and it now takes him less than a minute to get all the treats out. Granted, border terriers are probably above average on the dog intelligence scale, but I have a feeling most dogs would quickly figure it out. But I could be wrong, I only know that for us, the challenge of the puzzle lasted about a day. Like an earlier reviews suggested, I'm going to see if I can figure out a way to make it more difficult. Also going to look at the Nina Ottosson Casino game, which looks more challenging.

I initially bought one of these because I didn't want to shell out the $$ for a Chuck-It, which is way overpriced for what it is. I loved it. I allowed me to throw the ball so much further, and my dog was thrilled. I forgot where I bought it and tried to find more as back-up and for my parents new puppy. I finally found this one listed on Amazon and bought several.

Soon after, found a Chuck-It at a flea market for the same price and bought it for comparison. It took me some time to master the Chuck-It technique (the arm motion for each of them is a bit different). It didn't take long, however; and now I can throw with either item equally far. I'm amazed at how far the ball goes with either one.

The one advantage to the Chuck-It is not having to pick up the ball from the ground each time. The Chuck-It head conforms around the ball, so I only have to bend a little bit. This is nice, since I have a bad back. The Zanie doesn't do that, so you either have to bend down and pick up the ball or scoop it up with the end, which is not as long as the Chuck-It. However, as a previous reviewer pointed out, if your dog is so inclined, he/she can put the ball into the Zanie, something he/she can't do with the Chuck-It. My dog hasn't mastered that trick, however. He prefers to drop the tennis ball on the ground, so the Chuck-It works better for me.

Ultimately, there is no difference in how far you can throw a ball with either of them, once you master the technique (a dozen throws or so at most). The Zanie is cheaper and better for dogs who like to "reload". The Chuck-It is better for people who have difficulty bending over and whose dogs tend to drop the ball on the ground.

This toy is amazing. I throw like a girly girl and hate that my hands get slobbery. My 12 yr old terrier/border collie mix is an avid fetcher and likes to place the ball in the scoop, something she can't do with a "Chuck-it". We've been using these for years; this is our third one and bought a couple extra since they keep getting harder to find.

I bought this for my grandson so he could throw the ball to our dog. The other launcher we have is to hard for him to use. He can use this one, but I think we're spoiled from the launcher because with little effort the ball flies.

This takes more effort and doesn't go very far.

Bike Tow Leash Dog Bicycle Attachment - Red Review

Bike Tow Leash Dog Bicycle Attachment - Red
Customer Ratings: 5 stars

I have a 2 year old, 113 lb Malamute, named Jack, who has more energy than any other dog I know.He also has a mind of his own and loves to pull. I had been researching bike leashes and initially ruled this bike leash out due to the cost. But as I read more comparisons I felt that the Bike Tow Leash might be the safer, easier to use choice. And it is!

Jack is also one of those Malamutes who is afraid of his own shadow so I was worried about how he'd react to the bike so I walked him with the bike at first and then hooked him up. He took to the bike tow leash like a duck to water! In no time at all he was flying down the road next to me. He did try to stop a couple times and all I felt was a very slight pull on the lower part of the back wheel as the center of gravity is so low. When he got distracted by a person walking by, I verbally redirected him and we kept going . I finally have a way to give him the exercise he needs and the run he craves.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I compared online reviews videos and literature of the Walky dog, the springer, and the sunlite dog bike attachments, along with the Bike Tow Leash and ended up choosing the Bike Tow Leash. I have a woman's bike with a low seat and therefore I didn't like the walky dog or the springer because they would not fit below my bike seat, and the shaft of the walky dog interfered with pedaling on some bike models. I liked the bike tow leash because it kept the dog away from the bike so that a herding breed would not be prone to try and bite/herd the back tire, as well as preventing the dog from swiveling from one side of the bike to another, unlike the sunlite, which might get a dog tangled in the spokes/tire/chain. Also, the ease of which the BTL (Bike Tow Leash) is attached to the bike is a real strong point for me because no tools were needed, and finger tightening was the only torsion needed to secure it. The fact that I could easily monitor my dog's condition because of her position next to the bike was the clincher.

I literally ripped the thing out of the box, slapped it on my bike, snapped the lead on my dog and jumped on the bike. My dog has never been led off a bike and we were whizzing around the neighborhood. I couldn't even feel it when she and a dog on the other side of the fence has a race/barking/jumping match. And I am not a very good biker, having not been on a bike in a decade. Yes, this was a foolhardy experiment.

The only downside is the price. My bike cost less than the BTL! You could buy almost 5 Walky Dogs (that Amazon price right now is amazing) for one BTL. I am considering getting a walkydog for my boyfriends bike because of this, since his seat is high enough to accommodate the walkydog

I have two dogs. One of them is a small, 20 lb jack russell terrier. I have problems finding anything he won't break or get out of. He is a hyper little thing and jerks in all directions unexpectedly when walking him. I bought the best dog bike leash after doing research. I also have a walky dog, which would be fine for most dogs, but I feel more comfortable with this one. This one does not allow him to cut in front of the tire or close to it. He learned to use it in one try. Both my dogs do great with the tow leash and I feel comfortable (and I am a scaredy cat). He responds easily to turns in both directions. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. As with everything, you must keep an eye on the dog in case you might have to stop quickly and with the doggie tow he is within my view at all times. Have a fun and safe ride.

Honest reviews on Bike Tow Leash Dog Bicycle Attachment - Red

Got this the other day and first I must say for what you get I think it's quite overpriced at $146.00! My dog is a border collie/beagle mix and weighs about 45 pounds. Basically the device works, it was easily attached to my mountain bike. The only problems I had were that I wish it was maybe not quite so flexible as it is. My dog is quite the puller, and when he does the leash flexes forward to easily and causes the dog to come in too close to bike when it does. To counteract this my dog learned to simply pull forward and out away from the bicycle at the same time, which puts a lot of side pull on his collar. If the bike leash was stiffer it would lessen the dog having to pull forward AND out away from bike.

This wasn't a problem for me on the bike and as others have mentioned the bike held steady very nicely when my dog tried to pull away hard or divert from our general direction as when he saw a rabbit he wanted to chase!

The other issue with the leash being a bit too flexible is in the backwards direction. Sometimes when making a right turn the dog on bike leash would lag behind and the leash would flex back to easily and rub on the rear wheel. This only happens in certain situations and once I learned to slow way down when negotiating certain right turns it was not a problem. I do worry about it when we are moving down the road at a good pace, hoping he doesn't suddenly see something to our right and behind that causes him to want to go that direction or similiar situations as the bike leash will easily flex back enough to rub on back tire and could get messy. It woud be nice if the bike leash was flexible like it is through about 20 or 25 degrees fore and aft but then got much stiffer after that much travel.

Other than the high price and the flex issue I mentioned. The device basically works and I have no doubt Arthur and I will put a lot of miles on it!!

We have a Borador (Labrador and Border Collie Mix), her name is Zelda, she is 1 year old and has WAY more energy than I thought possible. We went to a trainer to help us with walking her, he said that we cannot even start to think about walking her without draining her energy first. Before we got our Bike Tow Leash she would almost rip our arms off when we tried to walk her, she had so much energy she would tug to the point where she looked like a zombie because she would walk on her two back legs. This product solved all of that.

The product itself is super easy to install on my Trek 3000 series with no disc brakes, however, I found that I could not install it on my girlfriend's Trek 6000 series because of the large disc brakes, I couldn't figure out any way to mount it on there. Not a big deal though. This Bike Tow Leash is great for working dogs with lots of energy, we don't even need to peddle the bike half of the time, she'll just pull us. She's super-fast too!

Some things I've learned about the BTL, is that you definitely need to communicate with your dog, let her/him know when you are slowing down by saying "wait, wait, wait...." before you come to a stop. I would make the dog "sit" as well whenever you stop or before you take off. When taking off, use a command like "heel" or "go!" or even "mush!", this will let the dog know when you're ready to go. If making some advanced maneuvers, make sure the dog is paying attention to you and say "this way!". Try saying "left" or "right" when making turns.

Pick up some of the musher's wax stuff for your dogs feet if you plan on running on concrete or black-top, it helped our dog's feet.

Other tips:

Try to use the BTL after the dog has already used the bathroom, otherwise make sure you bring bags to pickup.

If your dog starts to slow down for some odd reason, try taking them to a grassy area and see if they need to use the bathroom, our dog actually learned how to use the bathroom while running so it is now a bit difficult for us to know if she needs to go.

If your dog gets really excited around other dogs, make sure you tell him/her "leave it!" and pedal away from the distraction.

Make sure you bring enough water for your dog on long rides (20 minutes or more), dogs can drink right out of the bottle once they realize the bottle has water.

Get a COMFORTABLE harness for use with the BTL, after a few uses, make sure the harness has not caused any rubbing or rashes on your dog's skin.

Do not be afraid to ride in the rain! Your dog needs exercise every day

This item smells absolutely TERRIBLE. I opened it and sprayed a wee-wee pad with it and my whole house reaked like a zoo. The product smells aweful, even if sprayed outside. It was completely useless to me.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I bought the 1oz drops from my local pet supermarket for roughly $8. Before the drops, my shelter dog refused to go outside and used the wee wee pads about 10-20% of the time. I put the drops on each pad and she went on them within a few hours! The neighbor's dog also started uaing the pads after the deops were used. They do smell awful, but it is a tradeoff I'm willing to accept. 2 days later and she is finally making the connection between peeing on the pads and lots of praise/treats. I can't wait to see if she will pee outside if I put the drops there!!! Update to follow;)

My puppy wasn't potty trained when I got him so I got this Wee-wee housebreaking aid spray along with training pads. It worked very well. It did attract my puppy to the training pad. However, my home stunk so bad, I couldn't take it. I bought the Out! spray that didn't stink, but my puppy could barely smell it. I ended up just doing closer supervision to train him to use his training pads. When he was starting to smell the floor and go in circles, I lure him to the training pad. Thankfully after about a week, he learned where to go even without any attractant spray or me telling him where to go.

Honest reviews on Four Paws Wee-Wee Housebreaking Aid, 8-Ounce Pump Spray

I guess I'm the deciding vote between the other 2 reviews. This product stinks! If you've ever driven by a farm in humid hot weather, you know what this smells like.

Furthermore, I don't think it did anything for my puppy.

For the price, I say, test it out because I think it's more case by case basis.

This was the only bike basket I could find for my 24 lb. Boston Terrier (most carriers seem to be for 12 lbs and under). When it's all strapped onto my bike, it's quite sturdy. My dog tends to lean to one side or the other and the thing doesn't shift. It has a nice plush interior and he seems to be comfy and really enjoy the ride.

p.s. Only works if you have a splash guard/bike rack already installed onto the back of your bike. This is what the basket sits on for it's support.

p.s.s. The interior strap works best if your dog is wearing a harness, not a collar. The latch is in the back of the basket and it only goes up so far and it's easier to attach onto a ring on their back than one further up on their neck. He was more comfortable and secure latched in with the harness.

I bought this for my 12 pound Boston Terrier (she is small). I didn't want her weight over the front since it will affect steering and this was the only carrier made for the back.

Overall, it is pretty good. The instructions on installing it are not clear but I found this YouTube video that explains it better:

I do not know if it is because my bike has a large frame or something else but the location of the buckles made their install method not work well. I had to come up with my own that went to the bottom of the rack instead. My way works very well and hold it on quite securely.

One of my biggest gripes is that there isn't much on how to attach your dog. I followed what I think was their method and she jumped out once. Side note: You MUST use a harness and not a collar!!! Anyway, I put her back in with the strap woven through her harness and it held her more. Or, she found out that being held by the harness hurts and bit and didn't jump again. She hung there so it isn't like she hit the ground. Still, not good.

I am going to say it again, use a harness and not a collar. It would have broken her neck if she jumped with a collar holding her.

So, to sum it up with some new points.

Pros:

Unique (didn't find any other rear carriers)

Very padded. (We put it on the floor when not on the bike and she uses it as a bed)

Reflector is very visible

Washable

Cons:

Not great instructions for installation

Even worse instructions for dog attachment

Dog was able to jump when used (seemingly) properly

+ She was still safe and not on the ground!

Very large to store (not so bad since she uses it as a bed too)

This would be a great dog seat for a larger small dog (15-25 lbs). My dog is 12 lbs with a short stocky build and the seat was much bigger than necessary. It's huge on the back of your bike (sticks out in all directions), and kind of a hassle to mount. That being said, my neighbor's dog weighs 22 lbs and is too big for most dog bike seats he fit perfectly in this seat and looked awfully comfortable. She bought it from me and it works great for him, although because of the effort to get it securely atached she doesn't use it often. Bottom line, it's not the most convenient, but it's a handy alternative to the smaller seats/baskets if your dog is pushing the weight limit.

Mac (my Westie) and I are the hit of every bike trail where we try to put in 20 miles a day. "There goes the old lady with the dog." It's a little difficult to tell how the dog is supposed to be restrained within the built in harness, but I just made it as small as possible and hooked the underside of his existing harness and it works very well. It must be fairly snug or they can still fall out and dangle until you can stop and pull them back in. My husband was a little concerned about what would happen if I fell, with him not having a chance to 'escape.' I suppose he is correct, but not only have I not fallen, I now know who is #1 in my husband's eyes. LOL

This is the only carrier Ive seen that is big enough for a 20 lb dog. It is not meant for a very small dog but you can probably make some modifications to the harness to make it work. It is very stable and dog loves it! He comes to work with me on a short commute every day and this has been the perfect solution. He gets so excited when he sees me strap the carrier onto the bike. It is stable and goes on easily. The dog then uses the bike carrier as a dog bed under my desk at work.

Instructions for harnessing the dog to the carrier do not come with the product and Ive noticed several frustrated reviewers. Here is what worked well for me.. First, as product directions specify, use a harness on your dog (not a collar) for safety. The built-in harness is meant to keep the dog from standing up. Strap the built-in harness so it goes over the dogs butt and hook it to the dogs harness on his back, at the top nearest his head (or as high as it reaches depending on the size of your dog). Next stick his hind legs out the sides of the built in harness so he cant squirm out of it. Then take a carabeener (not included) or the dog's collar (depending on how much freedom you want him to have) and loop it around the extra horizontal strap inside the carrier and then attach it to the belly side of the dogs harness (often there is a loop by the dogs chest). This keeps him in really tight and he can't lean over too far to the side while trying to peek past me. I can actually make it tight enough so he has to lie down. It keeps him in one place and he cant shift his weight around too much affecting my balance. My dog doesnt mind this at all and lounges in the soft bed. Keeping him in tight also prevents him from falling out the side and getting squished by me and the bike if I had some accident...or jumping out (as some reviewers have mentioned) and causing me to lose balance. Ive experienced that people will beep excitedly at you to tell you how cute the dog is and if your dog startles easily you will want him in tight.

The carrier is made of foam which is a little sticky at the bottom where the cloth isnt attached. While you might find remnants of it stuck to your bike rack, the stickiness really keeps the carrier from slipping around. I think if it were made of more rugged solid material it wouldnt attach so snugly.

My only safety worry is that people will drive off the road because the dog looks so cute sitting on the back of the bike.

VERY impressive little unit! I bought an XS size, and it's really a fine piece of work in every way. First of all the price for it is great for an all wood constructed house, the shipping was FAST, and arrived very cleanly packed and well organized. Can be put together with a single screwdriver in less than half an hour, the construction is amazingly top-notch, it looks beautiful. The one thing to be aware of is you should buy it well ahead of the time you're going to NEED it, due to the wood stain the odor is quite strong and you have to let it sit outside for at least a couple of days to let the smell dissipate. This is normal with wood stains though. I recommend this product very highly.

Loved the cedar smell as I opened the box, thats about all I love about the house! Directions aren't bad, but as you attach the sides to the front you quickly notice that the bolts don't hold to anything. It's a wobbly mess. We solved the problem by going to the hardware store and buying metric size 5 .80 nuts/washers. Worked like a charm and the house was stable like it should have been before. Not sure why these aren't included, they are a must.

I spent forever trying to get one of the bolts to go through a predrilled hole only to finally figure out that there was a metal rod blocking the hole. So we had to re-drill a new hole and actually ended up just using a screw we had on hand to get the side attached to the front.

On to the roof...screws stripped easily and were very difficult to get in.

Now to the feet, it does come with "caster" type feet that have a screw in the bottom. No directions or pictures as to installation and also no predrilled holes. Gave up for the night and will try to figure it out tomorrow.

All in all, it's together and will keep it. Wouldn't purchase again and not sure I'd recommend it. Time will tell if it holds up or not.

The house is sturdy and arrived in one piece. However, the product is not weather proof. I left my dog outside and the whole house got wet. The design and look of the house add accent and sophistication to my yard. My schnauzer and chihuahua love it. But if it rains, it will probably not protect your dog or keep it dry.

Well... I saw this item and i decide to give it a shot, the product arrive on time but here comes the reason why i give ONE star.

First of all the item was as soon as a got it out it was all splintered, not just that but all the edges where uneven and splintered as well. Not just that, apparently the "holes" to put the screws on, where not in the right places at all and the were not even fully perforated, i had to apply a lot of pressure just to get them tru them.

Averall then product is not "high quallity" its just wood that is been chopped and put in a box.
