I purchased one of these pet training trays to give it a try. I also purchased the 17x24 wee wee puppy underpads to go along with the tray. The wee wee pads fit this tray perfectly.

When the pad is installed, the edges point up in a groove making a 1/2 inch rim of plastic all the way around the boarder. This makes for very easy clean up when the pad is full. There is no leakage under the pad to the tray. I was so impressed with this tray that I had to purchased 2 more.

I have a 19 lbs sheltie that is home alone all day long while I am at work and sometimes the tray is overflowing, but because the tray makes the pad form a rim all the way arround the boarder, clean up is a breeze.

I would highly recommend this to anyone with small pets. PS I had purchased a different tray that had a grid on the top that eliminates the need for the wee wee pads, but unfortunately, my dog will not use the tray with the grid installed, she does her business beside the tray. And that tray was $50. I truly believe that this is a great buy and it works wonderful.

If you want to save $.21 cents per pad for pads that work just as well maby better than the 17x24 pads that are advertised here Use under pads for bed ridden patients. You can find these at Sams Club in the medical dept. They come in a box of 120 pads for $24.95 that measure 34x24 inches and 17x24 inches cut in half giving you 240 pads for $24.95 a savings of $.21 cents per pad.I've used these pads for 3 years now and they work great!! they have baking soda inside the pads to keep odor from being a problem and are much thicker and more absorbant I'm sure that you can find these pads where ever medical supplies are sold. But Sam's has the best price that I've found. I hope this helps.

The tray itself is neat, compact and easy to change. The only drawback is that I use Arm & Hammer weewee pads which are wider than the holder itself. So I have to fold the sides of the pad to fit and this cuts down on the amount of space the puppy can use. However, compared to the other holders, this one is cheaper and does its job. Another benefit is that my puppy used to go on the sides of the weewee pad and would sometimes spill on to my hardwood floors. Since the holder is elevated, there's a LOT less of a chance for spillage, which is great for me and great for my floors.

First of all, before anyone looks at my title and shakes their head in disgust, let me say that pads are shreddable. If your dog stands on this holder and digs...it will shred the pad. If your dog is big enough to grab the pad edge through the sides and shake vigorously, it may be drug around and/or be torn loose. The product itself cannot be blamed if your dog looks at it like a chew toy.

That being said, this is one of the better pad holders I've seen. Other holders I've looked at in pet supply stores had thin edges or no bottom and were going for 15-20 dollars. This one has a nicely rounded and attractive edge with enough thickness to it that my dogs don't like to hang over the edge. It's nicely elevated to distinctly differentiate it from the rest of the floor. And it's solid enough that the dogs don't hesitate stepping on it or feel unsecure when walking about.

I have three chihuahuas...two of them new pups...and this has been a "best buy" for me. My chis were already started on pee pads, but they would constantly walk/slide all through them while playing or occasionally grab the edge of one and beginning running around the room with it. That doesn't happen with this holder. Because of its bulky sides and slight elevation, the chis avoid it while playing just like any other piece of furniture...but it's not so high that they don't feel comfortable getting on. It also prevents side errors as they can't stand half-in and half-out like with something flush to the ground.

The materials are rounded and nicely constructed. The grommets hold the pad securely and taut without stretching or readjusting. It takes all of ten seconds to put a new pad in and snap the lid on. So far the liners have never leaked, but I do appreciate the bottom on these in case there ever were an accidental overflow. The overeall design is aesthetically pleasing, and it's not an eyesore when lying on the ground.

I honestly can't think of a better design without significantly increasing cost or switching to a more traditional litter box. An excellent buy for the money, especially with free shipping. I've now got two, and would recommend this product to anyone wanting an indoor potty system.

***Having now had this for a couple of months, let me add that I'm still extremely satisifed with my purchase. In fact, I wanted to mention one more attribute that I hadn't found until recently. Because of its slick surface and one-piece design, there's very little cleanup if an accident happens to spill over or land on the holder itself. No grooves for little messes to get into. Just a wipe here and there will get it done until it's time for the scheduled washing. Fantastic holder.

I bought this product thinking it would probably be really cheap looking and non-durable due to it's very reasonable price (1/2 of others I'd seen). I was very pleasantly surprised to find just the opposite It is very well made, very sturdy plastic and well-designed. Someone else mentioned their mini-dachshund wouldn't go near it which also concerned me as I have the same breed. She didn't use it at first but when I confined her in a small area with it she did use it and continues to do so. Dachshunds are notoriously difficult to housetrain so I don't think the product was to blame. I strongly recommend anyone considering this to go for it. In fact, I'm on this site to order another that I can put in another room for my pet.

I've always been very particular about what I feed my animals and that extends to any sort of supplements and treats. Oh, thank you PetNaturals! I had a dog with terribly ichy skin. I took her to the vet and the vet suggested omega 3. She is a picky little 10 pound dog and couldn't get her to eat any of the omega 3 supplements. Then I stumbled on to these soft chews. She loves them! I give her just half of one a day, since she is so small, and her skin is so much better now. She itches less and her skin isn't all dried out and red. The chews worked so well for her that I started to give them to my other dog. He is also 10 pounds and gets half of a chew each day. He didn't have an skin problems, but he had really fine hair-like fur. Her diet is the same as the other dogs (Taste of the Wild), so I have struggled to find something to treat the dandruff (shampoos are a quick fix, but I don't want to bathe her every other day, which can also dry her skin out). These supplements have actually made a difference. I was skeptical at first, but she seems to be scratching a lot less than she was before the supplements. Perhaps it is all in my mind, but her dandruff seems to have lessened due to more nutrients going to her skin and coat. She also loves to eat the supplements. They look and smell like little chewy bones, so she thinks she is getting a treat. One of my dogs (the picky one) won't go near them, though.

My biggest concern is that these say one supplement for every 25 lbs of dog per day. My dogs are 10-15 lbs. so I have to cut them in half (I am very wary of overdosing on supplements. I would appreciate graded sizes for different breeds of dogs (small, medium, large) so that I didn't have to cut them in half, but that is just one small concernnot anything too serious. Otherwise, I hope it keeps working because her itchiness is driving us both crazy!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program My dog has a fairly healthy coat, but she does occasionally have issues with dandruff ~ something that is likely more bothersome for me than for her, as she doesn't scratch at her skin that much. So when these came available on Vine, I thought I'd give them a try.

The good is that she really seems to like them. The bad is that I don't see any improvement in her coat. Also, I noticed that they have not stayed fresh, even though I've used the resealable feature on the bag. The ones left are hard and crunchy instead of chewy. (This has not deterred my dog from eating them, however.)

I will probably not buy them in the future.

We already have them on limited diet foods that help with skin issues so we didn't really notice much of a change on them. In the past we have had pretty large vet bills due to allergies. The combination of high quality food and these "treats" have lessened the scratching and the off cycle trips to the vet. Our vet comments each visit on the quality of our dogs coats. I can't help but think this product has played a part. If your dog has skin issues this seems to be a product worth trying especially if you are able to pass it off as a treat.

These belly bands are fabulous, and exactly what I need. I have a male Pomeranian, and he is not incontinent, simply evil. He was neutered at 6 months, but still insists on marking EVERYTHING. That's where these come in. I love these belly bands; they are comfortable and soft, yet the velcro is strong enough that no amount of devil-wiggling by my naughty dog can get them off. I line them with lady's feminine pads, and the extra absorbency is perfect. The ONLY issue I have is that the small is a bit too tight when his full coat is in (Poms have a very fluffy double coat) and the medium is a bit too big. However, I adjust by using a thicker pad on the medium, and a thin pad on the small, and it works out pretty well. Unlike the belly bands with elastic in them, this does not pinch or bruise my devil-baby's tummy skin, and he likes the pretty colors in which they are available. I have a 14-year-old male Chihuahua who likes to mark his territory on my furniture! It has been driving me crazy for years and I didn't know what to do. A few months ago I bought him the dog diapers that have a loop for the tail but even the smallest of these never fit right and he managed to wiggle out of them. These belly bands work great and stay in place! He's 4.2 lbs and I bought the xxs. This belly band has been a life saver for me, and my ancient old dog.

He's on strong diuretic meds for congestive heart failure, which results in him drinking/peeing 3 times more than normal. Poor old thing has a slow leak while sleeping now, and wakes up covered in pee, as do all the towels covering his bed. He was always quite stinky within a day of a bath, until I found this band.

Now with a maxi pad stuck in this band (overnight pad with wings works best), my house and dog are pee free!

He even sleeps better at nights now, not waking up wet anymore.

I did notice the small was a little too small for my 16 pound poodle, until I tumble dried it on medium for about 5 mins (label says 'don't tumble dry', I realized later). But now it's slightly larger, and fits perfectly!

My 10 year old 4 lb Yorkie has been peeing everywhere and I had bought the belly band so he didn't have to always be locked up in his tiled area at home. The XXS definitely holds in the pee IF you use pads with wings. Small panty liners without wings don't cut it and the band gets soaked. So if you use pads with wings on the XXS, the wings pretty much cover up the cute little shark design (by the way, the manufacturers cut the small piece fabric so NO cute shark was even showing since the band was so small no big deal, just disappointing).

What I wasn't prepared for when I purchased this was the fact that my dog's fur would be urine soaked every time I took off the band. I didn't want to leave it on at all times to prevent UTI's. He pretty much always smelled of urine and I had to bathe him all the time. He also would freak out about the velcro everytime I took it off since the velcro would tear his fur off.

On the plus side, he hated the band so much, that I have since stopped using it. He hasn't marked in the house in weeks!

PROs: Secure, holds in urine if you use a pad with wings, possibly deterred my dog from marking for fear that I would put it back on him!

CONs: Velcro sticks to fur, urine soaked/stinky fur

Looks great and it was a great concept but my puppy prefers to sit by the door instead of ringing the bell. The noise scares him a bit. Even when I put a treat on the bell to make him touch it, he'll take the treat ever so carefully to not ring the bell.

This is easier to use if your dog can't see out the window. I leave my curtains closed so that when the dog goes to look out the window, he inadvertently rings the bells. Then I know he wants to go out. Otherwise, he just sits at the door looking out the window not ringing the bells.

I love this dog house. It is so cute. As stated, it's well padded for comfort and looks exctly as it does in the picture shown (minus the dog, lol). However, my little puppy is a very mischievous one, so even though she sleeps comfortably in it at night, sometimes a wild streak will take her and she will play with the doghouse... with it ending up overturned and in a drain sometimes :/

So the only downside to it being portable and very light, is that if you don't have a well-behaved dog, the house may not stay put as intended.

I have two chihuahuas and a maltese who absolutely fight over this! I had to buy 3!!!! VERY easy to assemble, it was up in less than two minutes! It's very soft both on the inside and out, and all very washable. I would recommend this to anyone with a small dog, especially for the low price that it is! Look anywhere else and it would probably be 3x as much! Go ahead and pamper your pup, without breaking the bank.

got this last night. my Westie liked it right away [becuz she loves new toys and crap i continually buy for her]...and then resisted it, wondering why she couldnt sit on the couch.

i am sending it back. reasons: no hook/loop design. this has velcro where roof attaches. not a huge deal, actually a better design than hook/loop. the velcro is fussy. you have to piece it together slowly to get all sides of roof to lie against house part. and then if you or the animal moves just right it all comes undone. very frustrating. doesnt sit straight either....arghh.

Main reason: my dog is 12lbs, this house is very roomy, very! however, if she leans against any wall the whole house tips in that direction. if she leans or sits against any wall with the slightest force the house falls over or rolls over. the walls are not sturdy at all. they fold/bend/move with her. so this wont work at all. big waste of time, not money cuz im returning it.

I have a chihuahua that has recently decided she no longer likes to use her puppy pads, but the rugs instead. After replacing the rugs in my house (not cheap), I had to look for another solution since I live in a very urban area (West Hollywood) and do not have a yard. After spending countless hours researching the different grass options, I decided to try this since it was very cheap compared to similar products. I even considered a local company that delivers fresh sod every 2 weeks, however, at a cost of $40+/mo and $100+ for the unit I decided to try a more economical option first. I will be the first to admit that I am surprised my dog has used this potty exclusively since I received it about a week ago, no further training was required and she seemed to gravitate to this naturally. For the price, I was very surprised with the quality, it seems pretty well made, as I was really expecting some cheap junk. I don't know if they sell replacement grass pads, but the unit is so inexpensive I'm planning on buying a new one if it starts to smell or deteriorate over time (for the price you cannot expect this to last forever!) Now to the negative, it is gross to clean. If you can get your dog to just use a puppy pad, it is sooo much easier to just toss it and replace it every day, but if your dog refuses I would recommend this. After a couple days of use it started to smell (what do you expect), so I had to dump out the tray in the toilet (gross), and rinse all of the components off in the shower. I rinsed everything off with dish soap, then clorox wipes, and put the grass outside in the sun to dry. If I stick my nose against the grass, it does not smell pretty. I am going to buy some ZeroOdor spray and use that after every cleaning (which will probably be every couple days). This isn't the most efficient solution (puppy pads are), and cleaning this thing will get very old soon, BUT it is either put up with the hassle, or replace my rugs every couple days and live in filth. Obviously, the latter is not an option for me, so I am very happy with my purchase :-)

The Good: Works great! I live in a condo and have the pet park out on the patio. It's only been a few days and my english bulldog puppy already knows to go there on his own. Easy enough to clean.

The Not as Good: The basin below the grassy patch is very shallow, so I'm sure once my dog grows up I'll have to upgrade; for now though, it easily accommodates a day's worth of elimination. Also, because the grass patch just rests on the plastic tray below, my dog occasionally tries to scratch and pull it up; if this sounds like something your dog might do, I wouldn't leave your dog unattended with the pet park unless you clamp the grass to the tray and/or ensure that he's been trained to not play/scratch/bite it. Also, be sure to remove any loose plastic grass blades when you get it.

Overall, works as advertised. Definitely made my life easier.

This has been the best purchase. I bought this for our travel trailer. Sometimes we leave the dogs in the trailer while we go out and they sometimes cannot wait until we get back. They love to use the green grass to potty. I do not have to get up in the middle of the night to take them out to pee. They just use the PetZoom pet park. I put a puppy pad between the grass and the pan and just throw it away after they use it. When we get home we hose it off and store it ready for the next trip. I would recommend this for small dogs especially. This is a great litter box for small dogs.

In theory this product works really well. My dog loved peeing on it and took to it with no problem. However, I was unaware of how disgusting it would smell. If I had thought about it (concentrated amounts of pee in one spot) I would have realized before purchasing how gross it would be. As well, if you accidentally tip it while trying to empty it, you would end up with pee all over you and the floor. While it is "eco friendly" because you are re-using the same product over and over, it is so awful that it is not worth it! The pee smell permeated throughout my condo and made me want to gag.

Seems like people have tried all sorts of methods for cleaning their Pet Zooms with average results. I have had mine for about 5 months now and am not having a problem with the smell at all. Here's what I do:

-Take it to the bathtub and spray it down until the water runs clear.

-Lay it flat and intact (grass in tray, etc) in the tub and sprinkle about 1/4-1/2 cup bleach (I use scented).

-Fill the tray to the brim with water.

-Let soak for about 30 minutes.

-Dump bleach water out and rinse all parts separately VERY WELL.

-Allow to dry COMPLETELY before using.

Do this once a week, weekends are best when you are home to take your dog outside yourself.

Using bleach is a common way to disinfect pet toys and even baby toys, as long as you rinse it very well and allow it to dry! Also, try to keep the poops outdoors, as this will cut down on the cleaning hassle significantly.

My dog was initially reluctant to use this (she was never trained on puppy pads, just outside grass), but I found that if I led her to it with a leash and just hung out on it, she would eventually go. Now she uses it during the day when I'm at work, no problem!

I like the length of the grass, it's nice and short which makes it much easier to clean. The tray is pretty basic, nothing fancy. I do with it was another color other than black so I could see how dirty it was, but oh well. For the price it's great!

UPDATE:

I've had this for almost two years now and it is no longer possible to keep the grass from smelling for more than a day or two. I highly recommend getting these washable puppy pads http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003B3W6C8/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00

My dog is so used to going on the tray that she didn't even blink when I made the switch. I replace it every 2-3 days and just wash them with some detergent and a tiny amount of bleach. Smells fresh and new every time!

I love the Plato line of products as they allow me to just mindlessly pick from the line and know that I am feeding something good to my dog(s). As for "Smart Dog Snacks" with Ginkgo Biloba and DHA...I'd better watch out, because my dogs love these treats so much that the treats just may make them smart enough to figure out how to open the "treat cabinet" take the container down and unscrew the lid to help themselves!

There's so much junk out there and plenty of junk food that claims to be natural (just like people food) but this stuff is the real deal. Much like the food that I feed to the humans in the family, I know what each of the ingredients are and love that the first two ingredients are duck and brown rice. There aren't cost cutting fillers in these treats; it's a straight up high quality product. As an aside, I've bought from the seller, The Whole Healthy Pet many times, and I am always impressed with the products they carry. Just as I know that I can trust the Plato brand, I know that if a product is being carried by The Whole Healthy Pet, then it is a high quality product and I feel like a good parent getting it for my dogs.

I am a frequent purchaser of the Plato Salmon Treats which my dogs (as well as neighbors' dogs) love, but the salmon treats are very fishy on the fingers and can't be put in my pocket. The Duck Strips are chewy and not smelly, so I don't have to wash my hands each time I handle them and I can keep a few in my pocket for an unexpected reward. Of course, all the dogs love them, too. I highly recommend both of these treats for their quality. If you love your dogs, these are the treats for them, not wheat-based biscuits.

My dog underwent allergy testing a month ago to determine why he's was so itchy and losing hair. He's now having allergy shots and the vet recommended we limit his diet to duck and potato for now.

I bought duck and potato biscuits at the pet store but there was nothing on the package that stated where this product was made; although my dog liked them, I was bothered that a smoke flavoring was obviously used. Then I found duck jerky at the pet shop but it is made in China. The store clerk said none of the customers had complained about it and my dog seems OK with them but I decided to look around

I was relieved to find these duck treats as they are made in the U.S. They arrived yesterday and as soon as I opened the bag, my dog was right there. His eyes light up when he sees the blue bag and I call these his duck cookies. My only wish is that these didn't have salt.

Just wanted to alert people planning to order these the first time I ordered these, I bought four bags and all of the bags were fine however, the second time, I bought two bags and I just noticed that there were a number of strips in the bottom of the second bag that are covered in mold I had to chuck the moldy ones in the trash (with my dog watching wide-eyed) so I'm glad this is now available through the subscribe and save program I hope ordering one bag at a time will avoid the risk of this happening again

My boxer has food allergies and I looked all over the internet for duck products. I finally found Platos. She loves them and they are made in the USA. No reason to fear these products. I only buy dog products from the USA, I will not chance my pets life to save a few bucks. Besides, Amazon sells them cheaper than every other site I found them on.

I have now used the Siphotrol Plus Area Treatment product twice and it really works! Last year, our indoor-only kitty got fleas and is extremely allergic to them. Our Vet recommended Siphotrol Area Treatment and we were able to contain the infestation very quickly with no ill effects to us or our cat. One star off a bit reluctantly because it wasn't 100% effective immediately.

Fleas are tenacious little buggers. We have two, long haired dogs. It's tough to see the fleas on furniture or in carpet, easier to find them on the dogs. In the past, Frontline Plus seemed to control or prevent the problem and prevent a house infestation, but not this year. Maybe it was the dry weather. It was a battle. We tried over the counter flea bombs, two brands; someplace between immeasurably marginal and a total waste of money.

Based on the vet's recommendation, we tried the canned aerosol and this pump sprayer. Either is OK, more for your money with the pump sprayer. Also used a sticky paper Victor Ultimate Flea Trap (Amazon), but we use the flea trap more as a measure of how bad the infestation is; it will not solve the problem. Count the fleas trapped in 24 hours, when it gets down to 1 or 2 you just about have things under control. Zero and you can break out the champagne.

The Siphotrol products seem to be largely effective immediately. The label says it kills adult fleas on contact and I won't argue with that but the critters seem to hide or hatch continuously. It certainly knocks down the population but it takes another week or so to eliminate the problem. It did not require a second application. Also, if you've chased fleas you know they're fast and elusive, but after the Siphotrol, if they're still living they're pretty lethargic.

We used the Siphotrol product on the carpet and furniture, and Barklogic's Lemongrass Tick and Flea Pet Wash (Amazon) on the dogs, one application each and the problem was maybe 90+% resolved the first day, stragglers gone within a week. The Siphotrol has almost no smell, nothing residual. Though the dogs love to swim, they have always loathed a bath. FWIW there's something about this Lemongrass product that they both liked, very mild, pleasant aroma and you could see the fleas going down the drain.

There is not a better product for ridding any area of fleas. I have a bunch of cats and I coax the ferals into the basement when it gets too cold. I've used other products in the basement but the fleas always came back. One treatment with Siphotrol and the fleas were gone and haven't come back. Almost time to invite the ferals back in and it's been 3 months since I treated the area. Great price for such an effective product.

Pros:

My dog LOVES the shirt, I wasn't sure how he would react to it, since he's new to our family and this is the first time he's ever had a shirt. But when I pulled it out of the box, it was like he knew it was for him. He went NUTS! When I put it on him he went twice as NUTS, jumping up, licking my arms, tail wagging like crazy.

The colors are true to the photo, very bright, and the fabric itself is of nice quality.

High enough belly that when he goes pee, he doesn't get anything on the shirt.

Cons (sort of):

The shirt is a tad small, looking at the tag, the next size up would have been too large for him. So, due to it being a tad too small, it rolls up on his back, and bunches up around his neck.. so I am going to have to stretch the shirt to make it fit him a little better. I'm not sure if this was done on purpose to allow for stretching so the shirt when it did stretch wouldn't be too big in the end. This sort of thing is rather subjective, some may see it as a CON, others may see it as a PRO.. so in this aspect, it's really up to the purchaser.

We are so pleased with this product. We got a puppy last June and spent the Winter housetraining him. He urinated in the house once the first week we got him and was in a pet pen and thoroughly trained for 4 months. The 5th month we allowed him to roam the house at will when we were home. Three months later we had the carpets cleaned. Within two weeks, this 1-year-old dog urinated in the house 3 times. After the second time, we bought a belly band from PetSmart. The next day he urinated in the house again and the belly band went on him! The problem was that it fit like a bloomer and was hard to fasten because of the design. With him in and out of the house every hour or two, this became a hassle so we purchased this product. It is easy to put on him when he comes in and easier to take off when he goes outside to play. It's been 6 weeks and no more urinating in the house! Buy one!
