My calico gets covered with red hives, large bumps, and scabs. She itches and scratches nonstop until they bleed. Vet says one of the worst allergies he had ever seen. I have been using this product for years it is one of the few that seem to work immediately to soothe the sore and/or itch. I have also used the shampoo and the medicated wipes. I really like the way this crate/cover looks in my living room. It matches my existing furniture and I love that it has 2 doors (my previous dog crate only had 1).

It was really easy to assemble (no tools needed). The only thing I wish was different is the front board that goes over the bottom of the crate (it's removeable so you can get to the bottom tray). I wish there was a better way to attach it to the crate. Unless I read the directions wrong, it just sits there (doesn't attach to anything). Whenever my puppy gets rambunctious, she shakes the crate and the front wooden slat falls off.

I've been leaving it off altogether and it looks fine, but it gives a more polished look with it on. I might try to glue magnets or Velcro or something to it to aid in it staying on better.

Love this crate! Extremely fast shipping as well. We got it 6 days BEFORE estimated arrival date, 2 days after we ordered it. Assembly was really easy, I stand 5 foot nothing and did it myself in less than 10 minutes. Everything came in good shape, no scratches, nothing broken. It looks really nice and is much sturdier than anticipated. We ended up using it as a TV stand and it matches the rest of the furniture perfectly (the color is a tad darker than the picture). The only thing is it's HUGE. This works well for us, but if you have a 55 pound dog and are considering the large, get the medium. Our 75 pound GSD cross has plenty of room in this crate and that's with a super fluffy large dog bed and some toys inside. Overall, awesome experience, awesome product, very pleased!

I ordered 2 of these because I have a new dog who is trained but should be crated at night just so she will sleep when we sleep keeps her honest. I also have an older dog who likes to sleep in a crate without the door. If the new dog was a puppy or if she wanted out this is not a strong crate. It is a lightweight black cage with wood "accents" but that is fine for me and my purposes. If you need a strong crate to hold a dog who does not want to be crated I would not suggest this one -but it is nice and light and look nice with the furniture so is perfect for me.

ps.... the side door option is awesome. Makes placement versatile!

This review is for the LARGE SIZE crate. I have four dogs and have used every type of crate and dog item that exists. I wanted to get this one because it would double as a coffee table. I saw this for sale on Amazon, and also directly at the manufacturer but chose to buy through Brookstone because of their customer service, and because if there were a problem, I could return it at their store. GUESS AGAIN. This was the flimsiest metal crate I've ever bought. The large size, too, which you would expect to be stronger than a smaller one. My dog broke through the side on the first day. I thought that was a fluke, so re-inforced it with cable ties. The second day, he broke through (actually BENT the metal) the front door. This is a dog who has just gone through knee surgery, and has never broken through a crate before. When I called Brookstone, they said they had to get pre-approval from the vendor (?) before they could do a return. Also, I could not return at the store (??) because the item was oversized. A day later, they called me to say that the vendor refused the return, and there was nothing they could do. Now I'm out a lot of money with no recourse. The customer service rep ended the call with a cheery, "Have a great day", as if to pour salt in the wound. I'm done with Brookstone both online and retail. I must have gotten them confused with another major web retailer, who stands behind their products. Brookstone stands behind nothing. Follow up after uploading this review to Brookstone (which still has not been published), I received a call from Brookstone customer service asking for a picture of the item, which I sent. Still no response from them.

I purchased one of these pet training trays to give it a try. I also purchased the 17x24 wee wee puppy underpads to go along with the tray. The wee wee pads fit this tray perfectly.

When the pad is installed, the edges point up in a groove making a 1/2 inch rim of plastic all the way around the boarder. This makes for very easy clean up when the pad is full. There is no leakage under the pad to the tray. I was so impressed with this tray that I had to purchased 2 more.

I have a 19 lbs sheltie that is home alone all day long while I am at work and sometimes the tray is overflowing, but because the tray makes the pad form a rim all the way arround the boarder, clean up is a breeze.

I would highly recommend this to anyone with small pets. PS I had purchased a different tray that had a grid on the top that eliminates the need for the wee wee pads, but unfortunately, my dog will not use the tray with the grid installed, she does her business beside the tray. And that tray was $50. I truly believe that this is a great buy and it works wonderful.

If you want to save $.21 cents per pad for pads that work just as well maby better than the 17x24 pads that are advertised here Use under pads for bed ridden patients. You can find these at Sams Club in the medical dept. They come in a box of 120 pads for $24.95 that measure 34x24 inches and 17x24 inches cut in half giving you 240 pads for $24.95 a savings of $.21 cents per pad.I've used these pads for 3 years now and they work great!! they have baking soda inside the pads to keep odor from being a problem and are much thicker and more absorbant I'm sure that you can find these pads where ever medical supplies are sold. But Sam's has the best price that I've found. I hope this helps.

The tray itself is neat, compact and easy to change. The only drawback is that I use Arm & Hammer weewee pads which are wider than the holder itself. So I have to fold the sides of the pad to fit and this cuts down on the amount of space the puppy can use. However, compared to the other holders, this one is cheaper and does its job. Another benefit is that my puppy used to go on the sides of the weewee pad and would sometimes spill on to my hardwood floors. Since the holder is elevated, there's a LOT less of a chance for spillage, which is great for me and great for my floors.

First of all, before anyone looks at my title and shakes their head in disgust, let me say that pads are shreddable. If your dog stands on this holder and digs...it will shred the pad. If your dog is big enough to grab the pad edge through the sides and shake vigorously, it may be drug around and/or be torn loose. The product itself cannot be blamed if your dog looks at it like a chew toy.

That being said, this is one of the better pad holders I've seen. Other holders I've looked at in pet supply stores had thin edges or no bottom and were going for 15-20 dollars. This one has a nicely rounded and attractive edge with enough thickness to it that my dogs don't like to hang over the edge. It's nicely elevated to distinctly differentiate it from the rest of the floor. And it's solid enough that the dogs don't hesitate stepping on it or feel unsecure when walking about.

I have three chihuahuas...two of them new pups...and this has been a "best buy" for me. My chis were already started on pee pads, but they would constantly walk/slide all through them while playing or occasionally grab the edge of one and beginning running around the room with it. That doesn't happen with this holder. Because of its bulky sides and slight elevation, the chis avoid it while playing just like any other piece of furniture...but it's not so high that they don't feel comfortable getting on. It also prevents side errors as they can't stand half-in and half-out like with something flush to the ground.

The materials are rounded and nicely constructed. The grommets hold the pad securely and taut without stretching or readjusting. It takes all of ten seconds to put a new pad in and snap the lid on. So far the liners have never leaked, but I do appreciate the bottom on these in case there ever were an accidental overflow. The overeall design is aesthetically pleasing, and it's not an eyesore when lying on the ground.

I honestly can't think of a better design without significantly increasing cost or switching to a more traditional litter box. An excellent buy for the money, especially with free shipping. I've now got two, and would recommend this product to anyone wanting an indoor potty system.

***Having now had this for a couple of months, let me add that I'm still extremely satisifed with my purchase. In fact, I wanted to mention one more attribute that I hadn't found until recently. Because of its slick surface and one-piece design, there's very little cleanup if an accident happens to spill over or land on the holder itself. No grooves for little messes to get into. Just a wipe here and there will get it done until it's time for the scheduled washing. Fantastic holder.

I bought this product thinking it would probably be really cheap looking and non-durable due to it's very reasonable price (1/2 of others I'd seen). I was very pleasantly surprised to find just the opposite It is very well made, very sturdy plastic and well-designed. Someone else mentioned their mini-dachshund wouldn't go near it which also concerned me as I have the same breed. She didn't use it at first but when I confined her in a small area with it she did use it and continues to do so. Dachshunds are notoriously difficult to housetrain so I don't think the product was to blame. I strongly recommend anyone considering this to go for it. In fact, I'm on this site to order another that I can put in another room for my pet.

Although the product review doesn't really indicate, this product is made of firm foam, exactly what I was looking for. That said, it cannot support a lot of weight as they can collapse. My 2 little ones are less than 20 lbs and do great on them. However, if you dog weigh a lot more than that then they may be insufficient to hold their weight. Good price compared to stores (if you can ever find them in one!). Also bought the 4 step model at the same time. It took a few weeks for the dogs to get used to navigating on a soft step but in the end it is safer for them and easier to manage than plastic, Styrofoam or wood.

I just received the TRIXIE Dog Club House (XL). Fast delivery and no missing parts--despite of the box being somewhat banged up. First impression upon opening the box, besides the intoxicating and fragrant smell of cedar was the overall FLIMSINESS of its construction. The cedar panels which make up the walls and the floor are 1/4" thick! I look at my 70 lbs German shepherd. I contemplate her brutish juvenile tendencies and I only wonder how long will this dog house will last! I also wonder how well (and how long) will the cedar withstand NM high-altitude dryness. If you use a cordless drill to assemble the house, set it up on the lowest torque setting or you will crack the boards like an egg shell. The sturdiest part of the house is the roof/lid (with the rough green material for the beast to stand on). We gave it a try. As I commanded her to jump on it, I closed my eyes, crossed my fingers and offered a quick prayer. The house survived the first test! The beast looked amused from her new perch although she did not seem interested in staying there for too long. The house is quite spacious and it is very easy to assemble. One does not even need to read the instructions to slap it all together. Only time will tell and I will be quite glad to offer an update.

Frist one I got was so bad, Looked like 2 rolls of tape was used to hold it together. The House was smash, wood was broke in a few places as well. I ordered a replacement, just got it today.

Box was worse then the frist one, this house inside looked like it was put together & took apart a few times & the wood was broke & split in mutli places. I called & going to try a second replacement, we'll see how that goes.

UPDATE: I got the thrid one, Box was held together w/ only 1 roll of tape.

The hinges that hold the top on were ripped out & the wood was in 3 pieces.

A few large dents & cracks on a few parts, 3 of 3 all trash.

This dog house is very cheap the walls are bearly 1/4 in. The flooring is the same, For an X-large house a +60 LB. dog might break through the floor, The roof is thin as well, a mid-large dog might break though it if jumping on it.

People that gave this 5 stars must be using it inside the home or small dogs.

Needless to say I wouldn't get one of these.

Great pen for the price. Midwest always has made good products. Shipping was extremely fast. We rescued a new puppy and this has saved our furniture, rugs, sanity, etc. A neat feature it has (although I have not done it) is that you can attach a crate to it so your animial can access without leaving the x pen. This is a great enclosure for your pet.

1. the seller is one of the best. I would recommend buying anything from them!

2. The fence is easy to put together, easy to secure to the ground (like a tent)

3. The hinges, the parts, are high quality.

4. It is odd that this is called an exercise pen though, as it is small when assembled. I have a 15 lb dog and it is small for him.

5. I suggest buying two. Then you will have a great exercise pen.....

6. Be careful on the height. We have a mixed terrier and he can almost jump over the fence, so a slightly taller one may have been beneficial.

This pen arrived in great shape. It was easy to set up, and I was surprised by how effective the included ground stakes were. I had preemptively purchased additional stakes, but ended up returning them, as the ones that were included held the pen in place without any issue, even when my parents' big dog decided to lay against the side of the pen.

The pen is very sturdy, and so far my Pomeranian hasn't been able to climb out or open the latches. The size is pretty generous for him to lie outdoors in the sun, which he loves, but I'm thinking of getting a second one, so he can have space to pee and poop without having to be too close to the results.

I like that the exercise pen comes complete with the reinforcers/floor protectors, the ground stakes, and the clips to hold the ends of the panels together. I'm really pleased with the quality and value for the price.

For anyone setting this up for the first time, especially if it's going to be staying outdoors and/or has any scratches in the finish, I would suggest using WD-40 or another water displacer on the surfaces which will see wear (around the latches, around the clips, around the permanent clips holding together the panels together) and repairing any wear to the finish with nail polish, spray paint, or other paint.

I made my collie a real nice doghouse at another house we lived in a few years ago. Now, I would like to keep him warm out in the cold, when we have to go out for a while. I previously bought a dog house at Tractor Supply that was not the same brand as the insulation. Therefore, the door opening was on the wrong side. That did not stop me, however, I just turned it upside down and now my dog has a cozy option.

This liner perfectly fits the Precision Log Cabin dog house. I purchased the small one for the small dog house. It really makes the interior of the dog house warm and cozy! Any breeze that may have gotten through the dog house can't permeate this liner. The liner is installed before the roof is screwed on the house. There is a flap that wraps around the top of the dog house and when the roof is put on the house, the liner isn't going to go anywhere or slip. The door opening aligns perfectly also. I additionally purchased the dog flap door to keep the wind at bay, and I think my little dog can't be any happier! It really does the job and although my little dog loves to run around outside (she thinks she's a ranch dog, and we don't want to burst her bubble that she's not), I can hardly get her to come out of her house now. She loves it!

(note: before putting on the dog flap door, put liner in first, so you can know exactly at what height to install the door. I installed the door first and then had to adjust it afterward because I didn't take in to account the liner height. The flaps can get caught up when the dog enters the house if it's not at the right height and will not provide the proper protection from the wind and cold.)

I was happy that this insulated liner seemed better than I thought it might be. It fit well and since I just started using it it seems good for my older blue heeler. It has been in the low 40's and will be dropping more soon. I added a thermal reflective warmth pet blanket that I also bought on amazon that I can wash and it really seems to work well. If you have dogs that claw their beds allot, this would probably rip quickly unless you added[ something tougher on the floor part. For my dog it's going to be good.

This was my first car seat and I got my money's worth out of it. We travel 7hrs every 3 months and I bought this for my cockapoo puppy. He used it comfortably until he was 14lbs. He is now 2.5 yrs. old and 20lbs eventhough outgrown the seat for sleeping comfortably he continued to ride in the booster but he needed the extra space to stretch and laydown so we recently upgraded. Sadly, it is a booster seat rather than a console. The console benefit is he sat closer to me and would lay his head on my shoulder while I drove. He could sleep and sit it in for the longest times and was comfortable without complaints. Worth the money and a space saver.

Bought this for our 7 lb Chihuahua and when it arrived I was surprised to see that it doesn't have a flat base, there is a lip in the bottom of the foam near the back, which I believe is meant to keep the seat from sliding forward during quick stops. The problem is we have an 03 Explorer and the heater vents to the back seat are located along the top edge of the console. This lip covers the vents. I closed the vents, but the foam still gets very hot, and I just noticed that a small part of the foam had melted onto my console. This was easy to scratch off with a fingernail, but I'm going to take this off and try to augment it before reinstalling. The dog enjoys it, and when he's not with us it's easy to unstrap the front strap and let it slide to the backseat floor. Would recommend, but it may interfere with anything located on the upper back of the console.

It fits perfectly on the center console between the two front seats in my 2005 Ford F-250 and carries up to a 25 lb dog. Good, durable material. I'm so glad I got this car seat. My 3lb Morkie puppy loves it. He can lay down and stretch out completely in it now, so he still has some room to grow. He loves being close to us and being high enough to see outside. I love that it doesn't take up a "person seat" like most other pet car seats, so we can still have two people in the back comfortably. The seat is well made, easy to install, although a little bit of a pain to take out if you need to use a different vehicle. I would suggest getting two if you alternate vehicles often. All in all a great product, very well made, and worth the price!

My pet rides in it comfortably. I am not sure how well it will fit him once he grows up (it may or may not fit him. we will see); however, since he is a puppy, this works out perfectly. I love the fact that it fits in between the driver's seat and the passenger seat, and it does not occupy any potential seats for humans. Plus, I prefer to have my dog next to me while I am driving.

There are three straps under the car seat lookout. Basically, one long strap goes around the passenger seat's back cushion, and the other long strap goes around the driver's seat back cushion. Lastly, the shorter strap goes around the console of your car. The only inconvenience you may encounter is using the console while your pet is riding in the car with you. But the car seat is light enough to be lifted up (after you remove the strap around the console, which is not a pain at all) when you are not using the car seat lookout.

The only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is because it arrived extremely late. It took about a week more than the estimated delivery date; however, it may have been Fedex's fault since they were the one who kept my package in one location for a week.

Once I contacted the seller regarding my problem, he/she contacted me right away with the Fedex shipping number.

All in all, I am glad I got this product. If you do decide to purchase this item as well, don't forget to get a dog harness because it is very dangerous to attach your dog's collar to the security strap that is built in the car seat look out (So attach the harness to the security strap to prevent choking the dog if it ever tries to get out of the car seat by himself).

I have 2 older model foldable(travel) Midwest Dog Kennels/Crates with the double doors. I am unsure of the exact model since I bought them many years ago, but all the replacement trays for dogs kennels that they are selling at the my local pet stores and others available on Amazon are at least 1/2 inch too wide for my dog crates. This replacement tray for a "Cat Cage" is the only one I could find that fits my kennels perfectly. It has been a great replacement and seems more durable and stronger than the old ones thus far.

fits snuggly without rattling, which is a big plus when you have active kitties...BUT, i do wish Pro-Select had included another support midway in the tray as that's where these items fracture, and they will after a couple of years. otherwise, the cats love it and they don't wobble or rattle.

This is a very high quality duvet covet. You can tell this thing is touch and can hold up to wear and tear (and probably some chewing as well). Have only had it for about 10 days but already like it a lot. In the first two days my dog peed on the duvet cover and thankfully, because of the ingenious duvet cover/mesh bag insert system, i was easily able to clean it.

Only downside of the duvet cover/mesh bag system is that the bed can be lumpy. I put an old pillow in there surrounded by other old clothes and it works well.

I love the patterned covers but went with the brown to mask dirt.

My dog doesn't chew up beds. But he does dig a few times before he curls up. I was Very Excited about this bed because his old one had worn out after about a year of use. Which is normal for him. But I wanted to use the memory foam fill from his old bed. I loved the look of the bed and the idea of the inside sack. I bought both. Med/large size. On the first night a huge hole was torn into the cover and the inside sack. I understand that my dog digs a bit and after a while a hole is formed. But in ONE night. 4 Hours into use. I would think they would hold up a bit better. I'm going to try and get my money back. But Not sure if they'll remburse me. I did give it two stars though. If you dog does nothing but lay down, no turning in circles and digging to get comfortable then it will probably work for you. And they are pretty. P.S. my dogs nails are trimmed on a regular basis. :-)
