First saw this used at a very hot week-long seminar in Mississippi. If the handler had brought extras to the seminar, she could have sold them all by the end of the week.

1. My kennel is inside my truck. I bought the largest size available so I could drape it over the cab of my truck and cover all the windows.

2. Very lightweight and easy to secure using the grommets.

3. Don't need to secure it unless it is really windy. The large size will just drape and stay in place.

4. I like that I can easily move it around as the sun moves through out the day.

5. If you have a hatchback, you can open the hatch and drape it over that to make a nice shady place for you and your dog.

6. Is durable and well made, though I imagine it could get damaged if not secured and allowed to flap around in high winds.

7. The perforated nature of the material provides good ventilation.

8. Not very effective as a dust barrier if near a dirt road on a hot, dry day, but will keep it cooler inside the kennel or vehicle which is the point.

We bought this to keep our dogs cool at agility events. It works. And we bought the large size, so it not only covers the tent the dogs crates are in, but can be clamped to the "canopies" on our folding chairs, expanding our shaded space. Great product. My advice: Buy a larger size than you think you need. You'll be glad you did.

Great price and great product. It was shipped with care and it was easy to assemble. The great thing about this product is that it can be assembled by either a woman like me who is not good at assembling or a man who loves easy to do projects. Our dog loves his new home. I have a little boy who cannot be trusted in the house when mommy and daddy go out. So we had to make him a little enclosed area outside where he could not access the doggie door (to come into our house) when we are gone. We got this dog house for him and he likes it. Our ten-year old grandson helped his grandpa put it together, and it went together nicely and did not outgas chemical smells. I throw an old quilt in there, and when we go out we open the back door to the garage, and he runs and gets in his dog house happily. Of course he is even happier when we come home and he can greet us and come inside our house. I ordered a porch for his house but it has been on back order for awhile (I ordered it when Amazon had a temporary price reduction as they sometimes do for some reason). First, let me say, if I could have given NO STARS I would have.

I had become a slave to these disposable diapers for more than a year. They worked adequately for the purpose. My senior beloved pug has been incontinent of bladder due to age. I found them to be the only doggie disposable diaper around. Then they go and change them. What was a good product, though VERY EXPENSIVE, turned into a miserably disappointing product, the adhesive tabs would pull off, and the diaper would fall off. In other words, they cheapened the product. Customer Service at Simple Solutions was of no help. They just didn't care. So, I was forced to seek other alternatives and I found one that works a hundred times better and is much more affordable... HUGGIES STAY DRY diapers for babies.. I'm serious!!! They work fabulously, are much, much more affordable and and my dog is experiencing less irritation from a wet diaper as they have a "stay-dry" formula. Simple Solution is not the answer, try Huggies, you will not be disappointed!!

Wow, I couldn't think of anything else to do with my aging dog that couldn't hold her urine. It was like having a new born in the house. Honestly, I'm not crazy about this lead. The leather is NOT soft. It's rough on my wrist. It might become softer after it's broken-in, but I don't plan on using it that much. The length is fine when walking, but when my dog does her little circle dance to take a poop; it's too short. I have to walk around in circles with her hoping nobody calls Bellevue. Also, the clip is humongo! It's difficult to hook to the collar ring. The color (brown) is dull. Bottom Line: I wouldn't buy another one!

You have to measure your dog's chest and neck, and that tells you the size. According to this chart, my miniature poodle, who weighs 14 pounds, is a medium!

I got it for my sister's mixed breed as a gift. She loves it and so does her dog but my mom had to extend the neck and belly velco straps with her sewing skills. I bought the size that should fit for one of the breeds that she is mixed with but should've gotten a size larger because she is a mix and has a deep chest. Buy a size bigger if your dog is on the border of a size, that's my advice. Aside from this it is a wonderful jacket. Both owner and dog really enjoy it. Her dog gets really happy when she sees the jacket:)

I got this for a doberman pincher pup. At first she tried to take it off, by reaching around and biting the rear end of the coat to get it off. So I decided to 'train' her to wear it. I kept her REALLY occupied, chasing a frisbee NON-STOP for 15 min or so for the first few times I put it on her. I then took her right into the house, and ended the play session, removing the coat in the house. If she realizes she must wear it when playing in the cold, she does with no complaint. She got used to it very quickly, and now leaves it alone. I notice it keeps her from shivering so soon after we go out. It fits her body perfectly, and with that tall collar standing up, she looks like 'Elvis' pup. Great Value. It is very well made, and great looking.

UPDATE 11/7/12 I got another pup in 2009 and she also wears this coat, but will tug at the backend of it sometimes, even at 3 yrs old now.But she leaves it on.. . I still LOVE these coats for cold non-snow weather.. I get coats that cover the stomach for deep snow... (fido fleece), but these are easy to put on and do the job of keeping the muscles just warm enough to keep them from getting injurys so easily... I just, last week, purchased 2 more of them as one coat is wearing out finally (after almost 5YEARS of heavy use), and the other has been chewed abit, it has holes in it, from the pup... I forgot to take it away after taking it off her. IT still goes on , but finally the strap under the belly gave out, on the oldest coat.(5yrs) I could sew it back on easily, but the rest of the coat got chewed up so I decided a new one is in order.

I'm glad I read the other reviews before sizing this jacket. I have an 80-lb lab who is older & with a bit of a stomach, & based on the sizing of most other dog jackets I would have gotten an XXL. However, after reading the other reviews here & checking the measurements I ordered an XL. I'm glad I did because it is more than big enough for her. She has never had a jacket or sweater on her, and she seems very comfortable with this one. The quality is good & the jacket is attractive & well made. The dimensions are accurate, so you can trust the size chart too.

This ball is hysterical. It makes all kinds of great, pretty realistic noises. The dogs toss them in the air to make it talk. One of our dogs loves them way so much she even carries them into the backyard, occasionally leaving them outside. I can't say for sure if they've ever been out during a heavy rain, but they've gotten at least a little wet (dew?) and still work. After they dry out we just replace the batteries (3 button cells) & off they go, good as new.

Our dogs (two 60lb pit mixes) have gotten some fairly deep grooves in these with their teeth, but the hard plastic hasn't cracked on any of these (we also have a Babble Ball and Christmas Babble Ball.) They come in 3 sizes, so just make sure your dog can't get it between their back teeth.

We bought one of these and put them on our front door. We followed the directions for days, weeks, months! But still (its been almost a year) our dog doesn't voluntarily ring the bell when she needs to go outside.

We can say "outside! Ring the bells!" and she runs over to the door and rings the bells and gets all excited cause she knows we are going outside. Yet she will NEVER ring them on her own! I have tried putting peanut butter on the bells to get her to go up to them on her own and then took her outside, but still she wouldn't do it again. We have tried to reward her with treats (she is a pound dog so she is very food oriented) and she happily rings the bell on command but will not do it on her own.

We still use them, consistently, as the package says EVERY time we take her outside. Either these Poochie Bells don't work or our dog just doesn't understand the concept. "Ring Bells. Go Outside". Even when she has had an upset tummy she has not rung the bells! I would love any insight...

Our local humane society provided a kennel and the sunblock cover for a dog that was tied in the yard with no shade. He now has plenty of shade and I know he is much happier and more confortable. It seems to do what it says it does and it was shipped when promised. I would recommend this if a dog must be kept outside.
