I got this for my 70lb Black lab (Engligh style short and stocky) and it barely fit him, I could not really velcro together the middle and I ended up cutting the arm holes a bit as it was pinching under his arms. Since there was no size larger than XL i thought I would be ok, but I guess not. The hood part did not stay on but I think it was more because it was too small overall. The quality is decent, its really soft like a stuffed animal and the shipping was fast.

it's okay, the costume is very soft and well made, but this one dont have any (decent) way to fix in the tail, so it looks like a carpet (or a cape) over your puppy, only have one elastic but it hurts.

Neat 'n Dry Dog Training Pads -Large Size are the best doggie wee pads I have ever used. The small size is a bit too small (even little dogs need room to sniff and circle), but the large is perfect. It is the most absorbent pad so there is no puddle under the dog's feet while she is peeing. The borders are also good which is important to me because my dog often pees near the edge, which is a problem when the pads have a plastic border so that the pees runs off and onto the floor. These pads are good even along the borders (as long as the dog doesn't totally miss the pad alltogether).

Tried a lot of other brands and this is the best by far. "Neat n Dry" says it all. These pads are super absorbent, and they turn urine into a gel. Translation = no more drippy messes. The size is just right for my dog too. I have a Havanese who only weighs 14 pounds, but even little dogs need room to move around. These pads are expensive though, so most people like myself will try cheaper brands first. None were much better than using newspapers though, and I wasted a lot of money in finding that out.

I received this product about 3 days ago and by far these are the worst puppy pads I have dealt with. I literally put up the pee pad before bed and waked up in the morning to pick it up and noticed it was soaked underneath. I have bought several different brands over the years. I never had a pad before that if I go out for the day to work, When I get back home I go to replace the pad and find soak through the bottom. I am just grateful I have tile floors. Let me preference this, this is used by a small dog. Most of her pee spots are size of a dollar coin. On the other brands of pads she has pee on, Hartz, Arm and Hammer, Nature's Miracle etc, I have never had this issue before. It has been reasonable for me with every other brand to be gone for about 10 hours, come home, pick up the pad and not have it soaked underneath. I really have to question a lot of these recent positive reviews. Maybe the positive reviews from 4 years ago dealt with a better quality of product but this pad does not live up to any reasonable expectations, especially after buying about 5 different brand of pads that never had any soak through underneath. If there is a review you are looking for to trust, trust mine and trust the negative ones. I do not do product reviews and in order for me to get on my chair to post one this product has to be absolutely the most dreadful item I had to dealt with in this product's category.

Save yourself a headache, do not buy these pads. It really angers me that a product that average's 4 stars burnt me so badly.

******Update for clarification 8/03/13******

So it has been two years since I wrote this review and have looked over some of the comments and figure I answer some of those responses here.

First the Chihuahua using the pads is a 5 pound female. She always went to the middle of the pad, squat, and then pee. The wet spot would be exactly underneath in the same location of her pee spot.

There was never any peeing done on the edges were it would seep underneath nor would I complain about something like that.

There has been several reviews after mine that has stated the same experience. Maybe it was a bad batch but at the time I had ordered I had saw complaints of the same problem.

Currently I use the Amazon link Hartz Home Protection Pads for Dogs, 50 ct., Hartz Protection Pads. They have the same technology were it turns the urine into gel. Once again though, I have bought several different pads as an avid dog owner and these were the only ones that ever leaked underneath on me. I get these though at the local Costco were it is cheaper than Amazon but not everybody has a Costco membership. Costco does sell 100 of those Hartz Pads for about 16 dollars which is a better deal.

But all in all, I always have bought the cheapest pads and none of them had ever leaked except these.

My stay-at-home dachshund and Yorkie are very spoiled for cleanliness and these wee-wee pads hold more moisture with no scent than the cheaper brands. I find it very convenient to have a latrine at home and use about one or two pads per 24 hours for back-up bathroom purposes. The small size is fine for small dogs and the price is very good in this package format.

We previously used these pads when they had different packaging and were much less expensive and the pads were great. They raised the price and must have done something to the quality of the pads as they are TERRIBLE. My little 5 pound dog's pee goes right through them onto the floor (which defeats the purpose of the pads) and has us cleaning the floor numerous times a day (defeating the entire purpose of the pad). I find it hard to believe that nobody can make a pad that is actually absorbant enough to handle a little dog. I was actually thinking of trying to double up these pads to see if that way the floor is not soaked so often. These pads were a complete waste of money and were some of the worst pads I have ever used. I strongly recommend that people use other pads as these were TERRIBLE.

I have a 50lb lab who has a very sensitive stomach, and goes through random bouts of diarrhea and vomiting. I purchased this product because I liked the idea of just giving her a treat instead of a pill. My dog really likes these treats, which is a major plus. She has no clue that they are good for her. Better, though, is that they actually have done wonders for her system. Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program The first thing I do whenever I get any pet treats is checkout the back of the bag. There are a few warning signs that stand out immediately for me about this product:

1 Ingredients are all grain or additives. Zero meat, only flavoring comes from byproducts or "flavorings"

2 Zero "Country of Origin" information. Lots of stamps about quality control and about how the company is called "of Vermont" but zero information on where this is made (note: "Distributed By" is not the same as where its made).

3 Very prominent "for animal use only" warning (ie: not for human consumption).

Taking these one-by-one -

Meat does not need to be in this item because it's not really the dog's main meal. However, quite a few dogs do have gluten allergies, just like humans. Generally speaking, quite a few grains are known to be allergenic to dogs. If you can stay away from processed grains, it's not a bad idea to do so. Unfortunately this does essentially rule out any "biscuit" type of treat for dogs.

This is a biggie for me. Many of your major pet food manufacturers have used ingredients from China or have made the entire item there. As we all know, China currently has a pretty bad reputation for... well... poisoning our animals. Most of your pet food manufacturers who use all US-based ingredients in US-based factories are pretty proud of this fact and will prominently label their products as "Made in the USA". I think that treats fall into a separate category from actual dog food, so the manufacturers are probably not required to post this information, but again, if it's made in the USA, why wouldn't you include it? Even when made in the USA, we're not always great about keeping the salmonella away (as the latest recall in Feb 2013 proves). Knowing factory of origin is a real bonus here.

Whenever things are labeled "for animal use only," it usually means that there are non-human grade items in the product. When you're looking at feeding your pet things like probiotics, Omega-3's and so forth, often the human-grade version ends up being cheaper. Since the human grade versions usually have to pass more stringent tests than the pet variety, "spiking" treats with non-human grade ingredients just doesn't make much sense.

So about the product after using this for about a week, I haven't seen anything significant with my pups (Malamute / Shiba). They don't seem to have any digestive issues or improvements, and their stools look the same. This may be because the grade of food I use is higher, and perhaps these were meant more for people who choose bargain pet foods, but I can't say for sure. Also, even after repeated handwashings, the smell of these treats were stuck to my fingers for about an hour.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Since these worked so well in the cat version as a sort of "Tums" aid, I was pleased to try these on my family's dogs to see if they worked to improve their lives. I'm impressed with how well they do the trick. Also, by all indications, they taste good.

Their bowel movements are firmer and less stinky, which makes yard cleaning and indoor accidents a bit easier. They make my chihuahua's poops more like tootsie rolls than the softer, messier kind (sorry if this is TMI, but we ARE discussing digestive supplements).

The older dogs also seem more peaceful and alert when these are used on a daily basis. There is also less farting.

I think I will keep them around for as-needed use, but I was curious about daily benefits. If they were cheaper, I would consider adding these to their daily regime as a "vitamin". As it is, I will just use them as medicine, for when changing their food brands, or when traveling, to make their tummies more comfortable.

I break the bone-shapes into two pieces for the toy dogs and use them whole on the medium sized canines.

I'm so impressed with these probiotic pet supplements that I am thinking to find some human ones for me. :-)

This flavor and the Barbecue seem to be my dog's favorite, although he does love the liver flavored one as well. Of all the flavored cookie inserts I have tried, there has never been one that he doesn't like. I usually put one flavor in one side of the Everlasting Treat Ball and another flavor in the opposite end. These treats are hard and durable, allowing the dog to scrape off small portions of the cookie at a time. It usually takes my dog a week of constant, daily chewing just to get through one cookie insert. These cookies are the BEST!

I have a yellow lab that destroyed the kitchen furniture when he was teething, but he is 3 years old now, and he prefers shoes. He doesn't chew on furniture anymore, but good size rawhide bones only last an hour on his paws, which is longer than these treats but not so healthy for him. He found that instead of trying to chew these hard treats out of the rubber ball, he can get them out rather easily by dropping the ball to the kitchen floor, over and over again, until they come out. Once the treats are loose (5-10 minutes later) they break easily in his powerful jaws. Note: The treats don't come out so easily when he drops the ball on the carpet, but he knows that.

The treats keep him entertained for half an hour, maybe longer using one treat on each side of the ball. Not perfect, but I haven't found anything better. I would have given it 5 stars if the ball had a tighter grip to hold the treats for a little longer. My dog loves the taste, and seem healthier than rawhide, but I haven't really found anything edible he doesn't like.

We also purchased the full size midwest quiet time pet bed cushion 48 x 30 to go in the enclosure. We added the optional midwest 40-20 snap't fit water and feed bowl .Lots of head clearance for a 75 lbs dog

I left the front door open of the enclosure the 1st night and in the middle of the night the dog decided it was a nice place to sleep in .He now sleeps there every night on his own as the door is left open .

I think putting his water and food bowls mounted on the cage with open access allowed him to get comfortable with his new part time envirement as being a good place .

We LOVE this kennel. Our dogs both have awful separation anxiety, so we could never go out. My BF went to the store one day without kenneling them, and they ate a playstation controller and a stereo remote. Our dogs are fairly large (rottie mix and lab mix) and they can both fit very comfortably in here if we need to leave for a short period of time. We put a bunch of old blankets in and they go right it and curl up together for a nap until we get home. It has been a lifesaver!!!

This crate is more heavy duty than the ones I saw at the pet stores. Has double locks on door for secure closure. Folds pretty easily to transport and wire is heavier than others I looked at. Drawback is only one door, but so far not a problem. A little pricey compared to others, but worth it--you tend to get what you pay for in dog crates. My dog likes it, so I can't say how it would hold up to a large dog who wanted out of it.

My dog is a Parson Russell Terrier and weighs 16 pounds. The size was medium but was way too small for her. The picture looks like it has a thick fluffy cushion, but it's actully flimsy. If you have a minature dog they might fit in this bed.

I was using cheap plastic bowls until I heard plastic develops bacteria. Prior to that the only problem I thought I had with them is frequent replacement due to cracking. Stainless or porcelain, I was told, is best. But the prices were extremely high at the pet shop. I shopped for a better deal but had no luck even at Wal-Mart, Target, or Kmart. None of the stores had what I was looking for at any price. Then, I shopped Amazon and found these. First, I look for color because I'm particular about things "matching". My kitchen is black, white, and deep red (kinda wine colored). These appeared to look like the right shade of red. But I still wasn't sure if they'd match, or if they'd be bright apple red. They arrived, and the red was exactly what I wanted. So, the "color" passed the test. Not only that, but they look so attractive in my kitchen where they sit on a black placemat. Concerning the bowls themselves, I am very pleased. "Misty" (My Yorkie), had a way of sliding her bowls across the floor. The rubber keeps these bowls in place; a feature I really love. She had no problem adjusting to new bowls at all. In fact, I don't know if she even cared as long as there was food and water. So, from her standpoint, the bowls weren't an issue. I haven't used them in the dishwasher yet, so can't comment on that aspect. But they wash nicely by hand, and continue to have that shiny new look. These bowls are medium sized, slightly larger than what I used before. Yet, they still are not too large for smaller dogs. I have nothing negative to say about the bowls and give them five stars. It seems they will last a long time!

(PS: I see Amazon has lowered the price since I bought these. I paid $2.00 more for each bowl. So, I'd suggest grabbing this deal if you need bowls, and the color choices suit you. They look more expensive than the most expensive bowls in the Pet Shop.)

i actually love these more than the dogs did at first they have never had a stainless bowl only plastic and it took them a little bit to adjust to the reflectivity of the bottom of the bowl a sticker or some type of dark engraving would probably have given them a feel for where the water line is they are a little slow once they stopped sticking their whole nose in the bowl and coming up snorting even they are happy i love the fact that they are holding up to the dishwasher soooo much better than everything else i have tried definately a good investment

I have 2 Chihuahua do their business indoors and I've been searching for absorbent and not too expensive dog pads for a long time. Great Crate for the price, especially with the free shipping. The ease of sliding locks makes it easier to take apart to clean and with crate training puppies this helps alot! The door latch feature is also a major plus, just pull up on either left or right doorpost knobs. Some of my crafty puppies were onto the old crate door latches and were occassionally working their door unlatched, noway with these ones! They even come with attachable slide stops for added security when using carrier for longdistance traveling. The Firstrax 19-inch carrier is well constructed but if you have a dog or cat weighing much over 12 lbs. or so you might want to get something larger. It might as well have been a sardine can as far as my 17 lb. cat was concerned. Not gonna work.

We bought this for our cat as we are going on a very long car trip, it's too big but it is a very nice carrier. The only thing I find confusing are the dimensions.

On the label it states: 32 L x 22 W x 23 H

When I measure it I come up with 30 L x 18.5 W x 27 H (not including the edge around the door that makes it 33 L)

It is very tall, not sure what the confusion is about the height on the label.

Anyway, it is a very well made carrier however we will return it and get something smaller.
