First thing out of the box, my adorable Yorkie poo, all 7 pounds of her jumped in excitement and couldn't wait to sink her teeth into this floppy prize. The colors are bright, the construction is good and the material is soft and easy for a small mouth to hold.

There is a squeaky toy in the stomach but my puppy isn't all that keen about that feature yet. She loves to have "Pinkie" thrown so she can fetch and will often grab it on her own and bash it around growling softly for "Pinkie" to surrender. She has a playdate with a Maltipoo just around the corner so I had to buy another to keep there so she would feel at home. Now her buddy thinks it's one of his best toys.

Do not know why but our dogs love pink and blue. Very much so in Pigs and they have never seen one. Problem is the first thing they love to do is take the squeker out.

Midwest Canine Camper Double Door Soft Sided Crate Review

We purchased this crate (48x31x35) thru Amazon.com about 3 years ago and again 1 year ago (would you believe that someone actually walked off with it?) and each of them, within just 1 year, had rods snapping or bending.

This issue is easily "fixed" by jamming pvc pipe into the corners to support the roof and I have had no complaints since.

If the rods were less fragile, it would nearly perfect as the cage keeps the hair contained and it fit in the back of our Suburban quite nicely. Having our 2 black labs within a cage in the back of the truck made it much easier to control them while the hatch is open (packing or just fresh air) and allows us to pack bags around the cage (not so easy to do when there was a separator bar that they would just knock down).

No we cannot see out the back, but generally if the dogs are with us, so is all our gear for a family of 5, so I cannot see out of the back anyway.

In our previous SUV (where we just used a divider), the hair seemed permanently attached to the roof liner, and now, there is never a hair outside the cage and we have a white SUV with light interior.

It is heaver than I anticipated, but still easier to transport than the metal crate and easier on the interior of the truck and tent.

I do miss being able to stack items on top of the cage when camping (when we brought the metal cage).

This model (25"L by 18"W by 21"H) is just barely big enough for my 50lb dog to curl up in, but I bought it for a 16lb cat to travel from NYC to Texas in the cab of a truck with me and the afore mentioned 50lb dog. It was as good as that situation could have possibly been, and the product performed well.

In Texas we added a Boarder Collie puppy to the family, and it has become both his bed and his training crate. I open two sides when we're around so it's more like a bed, then I just zip the bed closed to make a crate when he's unattended.

The material has proven very durable: it's been attacked by a bad@$$ cat for 1800 miles and for 3 weeks by a teething puppy, and it has not been penetrated.

Purchased this for our Great Dane before a 12 day camping trip and it was perfect. The convenience of being a lightweight, breakdown crate was immeasureable! We used it for transport and for when we put him inside the trailer while we were gone for a couple of hours and it definitely served its purpose. Would not recommend for dogs that are restless or chewers, as it is not a hard sided crate. Our lazy boy loves to just sleep while inside, so it worked great for our use!

I now own 2 of these crates. I have avoided soft sided crates because of what I've seen as difficulty in setting them up, carrying them, transporting them and lack of safety for my dogs. This crate has changed my opinion of soft sided crates. I love the pockets on the sides, the way I can leave the sides open or close them, the two doors, and being able to stake them down. My dogs go in willingly and appear to feel secure in them. They're lightweight, very easy to put up and attractive. More colors would be good.

I got two of these bowls on sale for a drastically reduced price. They really seemed like a great idea, but their first use proved otherwise. My 12 week old puppy quickly managed to dislodge the bowls from the holders. I didn't really care about the mess, but I did get concerned when she managed to get one of the extension arms of the holders lodged in her mouth while she tried to chew on it. Besides that, the prongs sticking out represent a poking threat to her eyes or the rest of her body. I ended up throwing out the holders and keeping the stainless steel bowls. I Only paid about $5/bowl setup, so the stainless bowls were still a reasonable buy.

This is perfect for when you have to crate your dogs for a few hours when you leave the house. It gives our 6 month old puppy and 4 year old dog just enough water until we get home.

It was difficult to detach the bowl the first time, but after that it's been easy. Also, it's very easy to attach to the kennel and once on, it is very secure.

I do recommend filling it while the bowl is already in place to avoid spills.

I plan on getting a larger one for our puppy when she is bigger (she's going to be between 60-80 lbs full grown) but this size is perfect for our adult dog who is 50 lbs.

i have a 6.2lbs alaskan klee kai, and this has worked out perfectly with my 30"H midwest wire crate. i was a little hesitant to buy this bowl (10oz) because of some of the dislodging issues some people had, but i decided the pros outweighed the cons. i honestly have no clue how crazy someone's dog has to be to pull these things out, because i have a hard time sometimes. i believe if your dog is so determined as to getting these out, they must either be a) bored out of their mind or b) hate the crate ... so probably isn't the bowl's fault, per se. however, compared to some other reviewers, i do not see the difficulty of getting the bowl out as a bad thing. i WANT it to be hard to take out since i would rather my dog not poke their eyes out on the holders. if you have a certain method (i.e., stabilizing the holder and rotating the bowl in has worked for me) to get a water-filled bowl in, it's really not that hard to get it out or in with water inside. (even if you don't want to chance it, unscrewing the bowl out isn't even that hard) they are SNAPPY fit, and if it WASN'T hard to get out, i'd be worried.. so i really don't understand why people are complaining about that.

anyway, only bad point for me is that i bought the 10oz thinking it would be plenty, but i have since learned that my puppy is a little camel. might buy the 20oz and use the littler bowl in the travel crate. however, this is not something wrong with the product -only a problem with my guesstimation ;) so five stars all the way. definitely what i was hoping for with crate bowls.

p.s. also, this *reduces* all the water spilled when my dog runs around and tips the bowl. i might get some piddles from her lapping it up messily, but i dont have PUDDLES of water from her tipping a massive bowl. awesome.

I recently rescued a kitten who was injured by a car. Due to his injuries the Vet requested he be put in a kennel during the days to hinder his movements and increase his rest time. I was afraid to just put food and water dishes on the floor of the kennel where he could tip them over and be stuck laying in his wet soggy food. I saw these online and thought they would be a good solution. They work wonderfully and I love being able to just pull them out and snap them back in without unhooking the whole thing. They only thing I do not like is the water splashes when it snaps back in. But as long as you snap the bowl on and then fill the dish with water from another container it isn't a problem. And I love that they are stainless steel and very sturdy. The kitten is no longer kept in the kennel, but he still uses it as a refuge/bed and of course his still uses these bowls. Great Buy if you kennel your dog or cat.

Once a very kind lady informed me that Avon's Skin so Soft would remove the inside sticker, this bowl became a hit. It rocks! I don't even have any trouble filling it and snapping it in the kennel as is. Although, I do agree that filling it after you attach it is smarter.

My dogs get really snarky if this bowl doesn't stay filled at all time. I've gotten racks for their bowls but they're never quite the right height from the ground. Apparently this one is because they line up when it's empty even though there's a perfectly good bowl sitting not two feet away that's full of clean, sparkly water.

Sigh. I guess I'll buy another one.

This product was very cute however the sizing descriptions are incorrect. I measured our dog and matched the measurements given for each size available so I knew I would get the right size but when I put the shirt on my dog it did not fit. I would recommend going a size bigger than what your dog actually is.

Do not waste your money. Despite there not being a single review on the entire internet about this, I took a chance. I figured for that amount of money they had to be warm and made well. The image doesnt show but the whole chest is completely open. It is very thin and frankly something from walmart would be a step up. I was so disappointed. I ordered two for Christmas for both my Chihuahuas. $80 for crap! I returned them and I am waiting on my refund. do yourself a favor, dont waste your money. Even the stitching was halfass.

Liked the jacket, good quality. However there was not a picture of the front side when i purchased it. I was looking for more of something that would cover up her chest for being in the snow. Over all it is a good jacket and fit her well.

Purchased this for my 3.5 pound Chihuahua, Gigi. I was a little hesitant because the price was high ($48). Living in the ski resort town of Park City, a warm jacket is necessary for a small dog. I'm so glad I purchased it! I bought the 8" length and it fits Gigi perfect. Gigi gets compliments wherever she goes. When I purchased it only the purple/black was available. This flannel-lined blanket really must work; my short-haired dog was really unhappy on winter walks before we got it, but now she wants to stay outside just as long as she does in the autumn. It runs large, though: I started with an XL (my dog measures 24 inches from neck to base of tail, matching the XL description), but it was enormous--way too big to stay on her body. She's a lean dog, though. The Large fits perfectly despite being only 20" long. The seams seem well-constructed, and the lining is soft. It's reversible, with reflective striping on both faces. Be warned that the flannel lining can create some static build-up.

I could not believe how quickly I received the dog coat it's really nice! The flannel lining inside is very soft, and the outside is totally waterproof. Unfortunately, I ordered it a bit too big for my pitbull, so I gave it to a friend who has a large doberman Heidi loves her new coat! It can be very difficult to find coats for large dogs, especially affordable ones that last this is a great buy!

I should start by saying that my dog weighs about 60 pounds, and is about 22 inches from his shoulder to his rump. So, he's right in between a large and an XL according to the specs of this product. I first ordered the large, which I had to return. I could get the size large on him, but overall it was not long enough. The belt hit him around his ribcage rather than his waist, so the velcro ends of the belt overlapped by only an inch. I returned the size large because the belt was straining at his ribcage and it seemed likely to open when he moved around. Then I ordered the size XL. Unfortunately, it was too large for him. Even when I closed the chest velcro as tightly as it would go, it was still way too large, which caused the coat to sit further back on his torso. This meant the belt hit him at the smallest part of his waist, and the velcro belt was too large (not to mention that the belt was in the path of pee stream here.) But I did like the look and feel of the coat, and my buddy loved having it on, so I altered it by shortening the chest flaps with some creative sewing. This solved the fit problem. Overall, I'd say sizing could be an issue with this product. Perhaps there is not much demand for coats to fit dogs the size of my mutt, but I wish there had been a size between large and XL. I like the materials of the coat, and it seems to be very comfortable for my dog. One note about the materials is that the reflective strip wasn't attached very well and the 3 or 4 inches closest to the neck started dangling within the first week of wear.

I ordered this coat for my dog becasue its suspose to be a great coat for much colder places. when i did order i was expecting i would have to resize the neck and tummy straps since i have to do that many times with other coats. when i came in the mail i took it out and put it on my dog so i can start to adjust it before we need it. i was so happy becasue it was perfect for her. She is oddly shaped for coats since she is a muscle dog (pitt bull) She is so cute and i cant wait to use it this winter.

This is the 2nd blanket I purchased for my German Short Hair. She plays HARD! This blanket stays put even when she wrestles with the larger labs. I really like the reflective tape on it, as she does go out at night,and sometimes ventures toward the road. The fact that it is reversable is like having 2 blankets. There is a small rip in it already, probably from barbed wire on the farm, but it hasn't frayed at all,and I will patch it. I haven't washed it yet, but I am confident it will look like new when I do. Mud wipes off the nylon side. I feel this is a great value for the money!!

What I like about this scent is it's not your typical french vanilla, or orange smell. It's still light and citrus based, but it's different and refreshing. We use a spritz now and then on our Bichon and it really helps with his smell between groomings.
