I was hesitant to try this because I had owned my robo for a year and she had never used one before but she loves it. She digs and rolls around in it. I leave it in her cage for a week and then clean it out. She doesn't use it for a bathroom and I don't think she would really appreciate it for only ten minutes.

She was really starting to look greasy before I got this but now she looks sooooooo soft. :)

The order came on time and in good condition. My 2 gerbils really enjoy taking dust baths in this stuff and they definately look soft and shiny when their done. They do occasionally knock some dust out of their "bath" but i put a tissue under it so all I have to do is pick that up and it doesn't leave dust in their cage.

This review is of Super Pet Critter Bath Powder, 14-oz. box. It's great stuff! Until recently we had used a chinchilla bath powder based on diatomaceous earth, and it worked, but this is better. The product is not perfumed and has no noticeable smell. It's based on pumice ("100 percent natural volcanic pumice," says the box) and is grainier but lighter. Our two gerbils both crowded into the little baking dish we use for bathing -behavior we had never noticed before -and climbed in and out repeatedly with LOTS of movement inside the dish. Eventually they got so comfortable they'd have gone to sleep inside the dish if we had let them! They got really clean and we have a new favorite product for their bathing. I think, though, we will not provide a daily bath with Super Pet Critter Bath Powder as the manufacturer suggests; they are used to once a week or so.

Pros: Good amount of dust, cheap, my hamster likes it.

Cons: Condition upon arrival was surprisingly bad: the box was old, worn, and torn at the edges.

I suggest buying from a different vendor, although the product itself is useful and I recommend it overall for cleaning small pets.

I spilled a quart of milk on the floor of my new-to-me car. Blotted up as much as I could and looked to the internet for instructions. Found that this product was recommended. Had it express delivered and sprayed it on fairly heavily over a three day period. No improvement. Took off the top and poured about half the bottle on the location of the spill figuring it would travel the same path. Got worse! Then after a couple of days it got better. It's been a week today since "The Spill" and while there's still a slight smell to the car it is no where near as bad as it was on Monday. Yay! I'll give it another week because the instructions say it can take up to two weeks to achieve full results and get the car detailed. Sure beats replacing the carpeting.

Update 1 year later -smell is gone! Great stuff!

I get my Nature's Micacle Advanced at Petco and I use it for dog urine. My dog used to urinate when overexcited and left trails of urine in the hall and puddles by the door. Since neutering this behaviour stopped, so I can see the Nature's Miracle Advanced working. The directions say to absorb as much of the urine as possible before applying the product. I use paper towels to soak it up until they come away spotty instead of soaking. I then use the spray bottle to cover the stain with the product and leave the product on the stain instead of scrubbing it off. I haven't had any problems with the stains coming back, or being spotty. When using a blacklight, I've found sometimes I need to reapply to the puddles as it is mostly faded but not gone. I haven't had that problem with the trails of urine though. I reuse the spray bottle by buying Natures Miracle Advanced Stain & Odor Gal to refill it with.

Smells nice. Doesn't just cover up the odor, but has enzymes that make the source of the odor go away. Advice on the bottle for stains that have been there long enough to get into the carpet: Saturate the stain with spray with enough to seep into the carpet and go where the stain went.

My cat decided to start going in my closet....on my shoes and the carpet...ugh. Currently working on spraying the crap out of everything in the closet. It is getting better. Probably doesn't help that I've been making sure the door is closed and it can't air out.

She also decided to go in a particular corner in my room, before the closet, and the carpet looks fine and smells fine there. I put a litter box in that corner and she uses that now. Well, now that my closet is closed all the time. Sigh. All I have to say is, thank God for this spray!

Does not deter pets from voiding in a certain area. It cleans.

I like Nature's miracle, but LOVE this stuff! We have a light colored carpet, and this formula totally removes stains and odor of both urine and feces, as well as the inevitable upchuck. Sorry to be so graphic, but if you are looking at this product, y'all know what I mean. Clean up as much solid as you can, spray on and rub with a paper towel. The stain will nearly disappear with just doing that, and will totally be gone after blotting the rest in a few minutes. AMAZING! It is expensive so I bought 2 triggers (upstairs/downstairs) and refill from the gallon size. I have loaned it to a friend who had an incontinent relative, and can tell you that it works on human messes as well. I'm very happy with this formula.

I have a very passive aggressive kitty, who will pee wherever her heart desires if the litter box isn't perfectly clean (or she's mad about her brother). I'm in a couple cat lovers' groups and this brand is mentioned often. So when she peed on my futon and winter coat, I picked some up.

I followed the instructions to a 't' and lo and behold, no more stinky urine.

I will say that it DOES enhance the urine smell for a day or two (while drying), but this is normal (I'm pretty sure they warn about it either on the bottle, or on their site). Once it's dry, it's good to go.

It may leave a residue, but that's easily cleaned up with a damp sponge.

I have a cat that has an intense fondness for flipping over her water dish. In fact, she is indiscriminate and will quickly make sure our other cat also has no drinking water. We switched to heavy ceramic bowls she couldn't flip and she switching to pushing them around the house until the water completely sloshed out. We tried mats and towels for friction and clean-up and before long, we were using up a lot of extra space and effort in our kitchen to create some sort of unattractive contraption just to keep the floor dry and our pets hydrated.

It was time for a food stand.

I bought this one pretty indifferently (criteria: it wasn't hideous and it wasn't expensive), but now I've grown to love it. In fact, I'm going to get a second for my other cat.

First off, it's just the right size for both me and my cats. The stand itself isn't tiny (it's not huge either), but the bowls are small (one pint). Standing at 4" off the ground, it's not too high for cats to easily feed out of. I can bring the bowls to the counter to fill with food and water, or simply lift up the whole stand. Either way works fine. It's small and pretty light-weight.

It isn't ugly looking, nor is it fancy enough to attract attention. The black and silver fits nicely with home decor in a simple, subtle way. I can leave this in my kitchen when company is over without feeling like a barbarian (the way I did before with bowls+towels+weights+water-repellent-mat+angry cat), but it's also safe enough to set over carpet if I wanted to.

The stand itself is plastic with little feets for better grip. The bowls are stainless steel, can easily be removed from the stand and are simple to wash. The top of the stand has a lip around it so if your cat manages to shove the entire stand hard enough (as some do), the water will slosh out onto the table and NOT your flooring. Even better, the lip of each bowl is slightly ramped so that any liquids knocked onto the top will stay there and not drip into the neighbouring bowl to create soggy food.

In short, I no longer have to worry about slipping in a pool of water and breaking my neck in my kitchen, my aquaphobic feline now has a how-do-I-beat-this-food-stand project to keep her occupied, and both of them now have drinking water, even if I've neglected to supervise their feeding area upon water refill.

This sure is a great little feeder!

The bowls are stainless steel and each hold One Pint. Stamped as one pint on the bottom of each bowl.

The bowls fit nicely into the molded black frame and are easily removable.

It is very easy to keep clean and easy to take the bowls out for cleaning or adding pet food or to freshen water.

It is has rubber type caps that fit over the legs so it will stay put on our tile type flooring. Works great!

I measured it at 13" wide, about 8" deep and 4" high.

My pup is 6 months old and is short legged and this fits him just perfect. He use to have to stretch his neck way down to the floor to get to the bottom of the old bowl. He also use to take some of his dry kibble out of the old bowl and eat it off the floor. Not any more!!! He just stands there and gobbles his food down from this elevated feeder.

Very Happy with this set! It should last for my little dog since he is just about as big as he will get now.

It really is stylish too. Fits nicely into the kitchen decor in the black color and has the Reversible "Side" Panel inserts, that have the Stainless Look(kind of gray color on one side or the opposite side is beige color if you prefer. We like the black with the stainless look for the sides.

I ordered 2 of these bowl sets for our Shiba Inu and Kai Ken dogs. They are medium sized dogs (25-40 lbs) and thought that the 8 inch set would be best for them. Its a great set, but the 8 inch is definitely more appropriate for a larger 60+ lb dog. I couldn't find the bowl size in any of the reviews or descriptions, so I just placed the order. When they arrived I realized that the bowls are ~2 quarts (8 cups) each! Considering our Shiba only gets about 1/2 cup twice a daythis was way too big. The height is great for her since she doesn't have the bend down too much to reach the bowls, but overall its just too big. I will be returning them if one of our friends with a larger dog doesn't want them.

Signature Series Designer Diner I wanted to like this, but as you can see I unfortunately will have to go against the majority on this one.

Pros:

Cheap

Easy cleanup with the plastic frame and removable dishes

Cons:

Dishes rattle and wiggle in their holes while your pet eats making unnecessary racket (and I have a 7 lb puppy)

Wooden panels along the base do not stay in their frame, but rather fall down to the ground

Panels look NOTHING like stainless steel

Rubber feet can be removed by your pet and chewed on, and they also do not look like the picture.

Overall cheap feel of the entire unit

It's your money folks, but don't throw it away on crap, even at this price. I rarely am disappointed with purchases I make from Amazon, and I've made hundreds. This one ranks near the top!

I was expecting a heavy duty kennel when i placed this order for my dog. Upon recieving it in the mail in a prompt manner, I was excited to put it together. Upon doing so I had to purchase two additional parts to assemble the kennel as the included parts were damaged. No biggie, I continued to put it together. I placed my dog in the kennel at then end of the evening while we slept. In the middle of the night,we were awakened by noise downstairs. Upon looking into it, my dog had almost completely disassembled the kennel while removing bars cross ways and the door. When I addressed this with AMAZON I was tole that they could not be responsible for damage that the animal inflicted to the kennel that is described as "HEAVY DUTY". I ordered this crate for my 11 month old German Shepherd after going through several cheaper crates. He was able to break the welds and escape from the first one I ordered within two days. I contacted customer service, who immediately sent me a replacement free of charge. That replacement has lasted a week before again having the welds broken, which allowed my Shepherd to escape. Although this crate may be suitable for smaller breeds, I feel that it does not hold up any better than it's much cheaper counterparts. I recommend saving your money and buying the cheaper models, although they don't look as fancy.

I have a 50-pound 18 month old Goldendoodle. He ate his way out of three wire kennels, including the strongest one from PetsMart. So I bought this one a year ago. It is a very nice-looking cage with good wheels, however, my dude was able to pull some of the rungs loose so he could stick his head out like a horse. Then he pried loose two of the wall panels. We have had to refasten them with hose clamps! Pretty soon there won't be anything left to patch. I don't recommend it for an active, smart dog.

Update, May 2012: I've bought three of these leashes since September 2010. Here is what has become of each...

Leash 1: Within a year, the metal clasp on the leash broke when my dog pulled hard to chase a squirrel across the road. Thankfully my dog was not hurt nor did she cause any damage.

Leash 2: The metal work on this leash is intact after six months of daily use, but the fabric of the leash is peeling away in strips. I assume this is accounted for by the fact that my dog swims regularly in both fresh and salt water, and her leash sometimes gets wet.

Leash 3: In less than a month the small stub to pull down the clasp on the hook broke off. Time to try a leash from a different company!

The hemp leash material is far better than nylon no "rope burn". Also nice and thick making it easier to hold onto. Unfortunately, the snap leaves you holding onto a lovely leash while your dog runs off. It's not an isolated problem either. I re-ordered 3 times and the snaps were always junk. Too bad the snap quality doesn't live up to the rest of the product.

These bowls are much smaller than i expected. They do work well for my three month old puppy but i can see him out growing them very quickly. I have larger ones for my full size dog and the stainless steele is so easy to clean. The problem is the hooks arent tight and that allows a curious dog to knock them over. I used zip ties to lock the bowls to the crate and that works well. The older set gets a little rusted at times but they mostly come clean (the hook part not the bowl part that it).

The bracket that the bowl attaches to is very flimsy and it does not stay attached to a standard dog crate. The bowl easily pops out of its bracket and as I mentioned, there is no way to keep the bracket attached to a dog crate. I even tried using plastic ties, but my 10 month old Golden Retriever has no difficulty making the bowl pop out of its bracket. Very frustrating!

This flannel-lined blanket really must work; my short-haired dog was really unhappy on winter walks before we got it, but now she wants to stay outside just as long as she does in the autumn. It runs large, though: I started with an XL (my dog measures 24 inches from neck to base of tail, matching the XL description), but it was enormous--way too big to stay on her body. She's a lean dog, though. The Large fits perfectly despite being only 20" long. The seams seem well-constructed, and the lining is soft. It's reversible, with reflective striping on both faces. Be warned that the flannel lining can create some static build-up.

I could not believe how quickly I received the dog coat it's really nice! The flannel lining inside is very soft, and the outside is totally waterproof. Unfortunately, I ordered it a bit too big for my pitbull, so I gave it to a friend who has a large doberman Heidi loves her new coat! It can be very difficult to find coats for large dogs, especially affordable ones that last this is a great buy!

I should start by saying that my dog weighs about 60 pounds, and is about 22 inches from his shoulder to his rump. So, he's right in between a large and an XL according to the specs of this product. I first ordered the large, which I had to return. I could get the size large on him, but overall it was not long enough. The belt hit him around his ribcage rather than his waist, so the velcro ends of the belt overlapped by only an inch. I returned the size large because the belt was straining at his ribcage and it seemed likely to open when he moved around. Then I ordered the size XL. Unfortunately, it was too large for him. Even when I closed the chest velcro as tightly as it would go, it was still way too large, which caused the coat to sit further back on his torso. This meant the belt hit him at the smallest part of his waist, and the velcro belt was too large (not to mention that the belt was in the path of pee stream here.) But I did like the look and feel of the coat, and my buddy loved having it on, so I altered it by shortening the chest flaps with some creative sewing. This solved the fit problem. Overall, I'd say sizing could be an issue with this product. Perhaps there is not much demand for coats to fit dogs the size of my mutt, but I wish there had been a size between large and XL. I like the materials of the coat, and it seems to be very comfortable for my dog. One note about the materials is that the reflective strip wasn't attached very well and the 3 or 4 inches closest to the neck started dangling within the first week of wear.

I ordered this coat for my dog becasue its suspose to be a great coat for much colder places. when i did order i was expecting i would have to resize the neck and tummy straps since i have to do that many times with other coats. when i came in the mail i took it out and put it on my dog so i can start to adjust it before we need it. i was so happy becasue it was perfect for her. This is the 2nd blanket I purchased for my German Short Hair. She plays HARD! This blanket stays put even when she wrestles with the larger labs. I really like the reflective tape on it, as she does go out at night,and sometimes ventures toward the road. The fact that it is reversable is like having 2 blankets. There is a small rip in it already, probably from barbed wire on the farm, but it hasn't frayed at all,and I will patch it. I haven't washed it yet, but I am confident it will look like new when I do. Mud wipes off the nylon side. I feel this is a great value for the money!!

I almost didn't buy this because the color on the picture looks GREEN, this thing is tan/khaki on the top and brown on the bottom, very soft and pretty colors, may want to retake that picture or make the colour information glaringly clear. my advice, retake the picture! I added our own picture, but our dog is sleeping on the brown side at the moment.. the bottom is a very light tan, close to the color of my carpet.

We had reservations on buying another dog bed, our Dog Remy is an almost 3 year old Boxer, the last dog bed she had was when she was a pup and quickly tore it up.

It is flat, about an inch and a half thick, very washable, and comfy according to our dog, she lays on it, stays on it, in my mind I think that probably means she loves it.

We were very pleasantly surprised she took to it immediately and loves her new bed, loves her old bed more (which is our or our son's bed) but loves it which is what counts!

As a professional groomer for over 30 years I have always found Andis products to be of high quality, so I expected no less with their nail grinder. I was sadly mistaken. This Nail grinder tends to lose it's grinding pads when you are using them on the nail, causing you to have to stop and slide it back into place constantly. When applying the instrument to the dog's nail it has a tendency to jump back several times. I have been using dremels/grinders for many years and have never experienced this issue. After checking to see that everything was properly attached and tightened I still experienced the same problems. I thought maybe I was not holding it well, but it doesn't matter how it's held as I experimented with several different ways of holding. I'm not real impressed with the overall power of the motor either. The only thing I liked about it was the fact that it is much quieter than say a dremel, which is what I am used to using, and has two speeds.

I bought this grinder because my old one broke, and I can say nothing but good things. I am a professional groomer, and I have tried Oster and Dremel brand before, but this one tops them all. It has two speeds, which is good for introducing new dogs to it, it runs quiet, and if too much pressure is applied or hair gets caught in it, the grinder stops immediately for a few seconds. This feature is a wonderful safety addition, especially if you are grinding nails on a long haired dog like a cocker spaniel or shih tzu. Its cord is long enough to reach all the way around my grooming table for ease of use. It is also comfortable in the hand, and the rubber grip helps. If you are trying to find a nail grinder, look no further. This one is perfect!

My mini dachshund (9#Greta) will now lay on the couch on her side, while I trim her nails. It is not a fight anymore. Amazing...I would recommend this to everyone. I have used a Dremel and a Pedipaw. This is much quieter than the Dremel (which scared Greta). And it is much faster than the Pedipaw and I am not switching batteries weekly. My mini-Beagle (Roxy) also does better with this one. Greta's toe nail require cutting weekly, while Roxy only require a monthly trimming.

I have 50lb pointer, he pulled hard on it and broke this leash. NOT the leash itself, but where the metal part is sewed onto the leash. Wish this was re-enforced stronger. The nylon leash part is actually good quality and is still in tact. This leash would be great for dogs that don't pull or that are lighter than 50lbs.

I got this to assist with obedience training when trying to get my dog to stick around without running away and with recall. It's really great for that, because it is really long. I was on the fence between this and the 30 foot lead. I'm really glad I went with 50. Of course, it says it's 50 feet, but until I saw just how far away my dog could go before running out of slack, I really had no concept of just how long 50 feet really is. My dog has plenty of room to roam around and feel like she has free will, yet still gives me plenty of security knowing that I have full control. My dog usually doesn't run out of slack before she thinks she's getting too far away and turns around to see why the heck I'm not following her (at which time she usually comes running back to me if she see's I'm not moving in her direction). I think if I would have got the 30 foot lead she would probably run out of slack too quickly, which would ruin the illusion of her having free will (which is a very important part of the recall training).

It does take a bit of practice to get used to managing it, though. I would recommend getting used to managing it in a more secluded area before you take it out in crowded public areas (like a dog park). It can easily become a hazard if not properly managed (clothes-lining peoples legs, choking children, etc.). For this same reason, I do not recommend using this as a method of tying your dog outside in a public area.

I also use this when we take our dog on outdoor adventures (hiking, kayaking, etc.). It gives her a lot of room to roam and sniff and do all of those doggy things, while we can continue along our route without having to tug her along or wait for her. Eventually she finishes with whatever has preoccupied her, and catches up. It's held up well to a lot of abuse so far. It drags on the ground through mud, stones, gravel, pavement; gets stuck in bushes...you name it, this leash has probably been there, done that. It still shows no signs of fraying or wanting to tear.

Overall, I would highly recommend this leash to anyone!

I've gone through a few cotton leads, as I walk my dog 4x daily through the woods on one, and they get muddy, and caught on brambles and brush, and then washed and dried regularly. This one has stood up to this rough kind of wear and still looks as good as new, unlike others that have frayed and fallen apart rather quickly. I'm very happy with it.

My pup eventually chewed through the original red lead (she still gets excited when there are deer nearby) but I think she would have chewed through anything. I am still very happy, and have purchased additional leads in other colors.

My stubborn Scottish terrier likes lifting his leg whenever the urge strikes him. As an adult shelter dog, I find he is stuck in his ways and not easily trained.

I had been eying these belts for a while now but afraid to waste the money. Long story short: buy this. My dog is no longer having accidents in the house. He doesn't even have an accident on the belt itself. He just no longer feels comfortable lifting his leg. One day I didn't put it on tight enough and he marked, but heck, an accident every once in a great while is a HUGE improvement. Soooo happy to have tried this. FYIMedium fit my Scottie dog.

We adopted another rescue dog which they say is four years old and house trained. NOT! These belts are helping us. I have several of them and I just wash them out and dry them outside if/when our little boy dog has any 'accidents'. They are about a third the cost of other type bands, they wash easily and dry quickly. PERFECT for house training dogs.

I purchased two different brands of belts, the other belt (Bellybands) was more expensive. When they arrived I like this belt the best because there was less material and the material was thicker. I tried each one on my dog. Immediately he didn't like this one. He acted like he couldn't move very well and as if he was very uncomfortable. I put the other belt on him and he acted like nothing was even on him. I'm sure if I had only purchased this belt he would have gotten use to it but I'm very glad I purchased the other one. I attached several photos to show the different belts.
