I found this while doing a general search on the internet for a door protector. My wife and I moved into a brand new house and were only here about 10 days when we took in a 9 year old German Shep that needed a home. Due to his situation, he has TERRIBLE separation anxiety and ended up damaging one of our doors. Short of crating him, this type of product was our only option. I have actually ordered a second one to use in conjunction with this one. Our boy is very tall and can actually reach higher than it covers, so I am going to "double up" and fix that problem. In the meantime, I also received a very nice email from the seller. Have no hesitation in trying this product out, it is a winner!

I didn't look at it close enough in the picture because it only covers the part of the door and frame around the door knob then down but my dog was scratching up the bottom of the door and less so the area it covers. It was not long enough for our door and the very bottom was still able to be scratched. At one point my 15 pound dog was able to knock it off the door handle and chewed up 2 sides of it. It's basically a piece of flexible plastic with a hole in it you hang on your door knob. For me it wasn't worth what I paid for it.

Had I bought them for any other reason than to reach the $25 supersaver shipping requirement, I'd be pissed. As it is, oh well. My dog destroys tennis balls in minutes -rips them along the seams. These were no different. In the time that it took me to go in the house to get the sunblock, the ball was torn. As for the smell, there was nothing whatsoever reminiscient of peanut butter. There was a very strong chemical smell, VERY strong, but not even a hint of peanut-y goodness. I didn't go so far as to chew on it, so I can't say that it didn't taste of peanut butter...but it seems highly unlikely. I agree with another reviewer that the Penn tennis balls seem to last a bit longer, and I can often find these at the dollar store, in packs of three.

I bought some pet tennis balls at my local supermarket. They had a terrible, toxic smelling, rubber odor. I watched my lab mix destroy two in about 5 minutes. No way I would let him chew them unsupervised. When they split open, that odor filled a room. The Tuff balls on the other hand, have been the complete opposite. They last forever. I have not had one even split yet. I've used the peanut butter and mint ones. No, not a strong scent, but fine overall. I don't think he really cares he loves his tennis balls no matter what. Definitely a fan.

My little mix of a Japanese Chin and a Shih Tzu absolutely loves these things. She's a small dog, so the smaller junior size ball fits her mouth perfectly, and she prefers these to the normal non flavored balls or the mint balls because of the peanut butter flavor. In fact, I think she's absolutely addicted to them and constantly wants to play fetch with them. I ordered these off of Amazon, as I can't seem to find them in PetCo stores locally anymore. This is a bit expensive, but well worth it if you have a smaller dog that loves to play fetch!

When dealing with ferals, you can't always be sure that they'll accept shelter. When I saw the Kitty Tube on-line, I knew immediately that our feral would use it. She's very wary as most ferals are. We're talking about a cat who lived under a shed in a ground hog hole for years. It took about 2 weeks for her to come close enough to it to inspect it and we started to put her food in it so she could see how cozy it was inside. She would go in far enough to eat her food, but would not go all the way in. We set it up on our side deck with the door of the Kitty Tube facing in the direction where she could see who was approaching when inside, and then we just waited....Today I walked up to our deck, and I could see that our little feral kitty was curled up inside the Kitty Tube sound asleep. She heard me approach, but because I knew she was inside the Kitty Tube, I was very quiet. She lifted her head up, saw it was me, and went back to sleep. Here in the NE, it's getting pretty cold at night now, so I'm very happy she has a well insulated home to curl up in and be warm. We put the straw down and a fleece blanket over the straw. She's all set. We added a waterproof piece of wood over the top of the house as extra protection from rain and weather. But that's just our preference. All in all I feel that this has worked out very well. It seems to me that most cats would accept this as shelter and be very well protected. There's something very 'cat friendly' about the design and we're thrilled with the outcome.

I decided to give my outdoor cat a better home, and this product seemed to fit the bill: insulated, comfortable and best of all designed to help keep predators out.

The cat house arrived fairly quickly and in good shape. There is an insulated insert that can be optionally removed: with the insert installed the headroom is cut by a few inches inside the house. I live in a moderate climate so I imagine I'll leave the insert out most of the time, only putting it in during the coldest months.

My cat took to the house immediately and sleeps there every night, which is of course the biggest thing: if the cat didn't like it, then it wouldn't have been a good purchase! My cat is fairly picky so I consider this very successful.

Overall the cat house construction & materials are excellent. I have no complaints about this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solution like this.

I had pretty high expectations for this product based on what others have written. It did ship quickly and first impressions were good. It is a well-constructed product and well insulated. However it does leak.

I purchased the one that comes with straw. After a steady rain one night the bottom of the tube had a substantial amount of water in it and the straw was soaked. I did have the opening turned close to the house as others have recommended. I don't know if water seeps in around where the top meets the bottom piece or what. I had to take everything apart and pull out the insulation to completely dry it out. I have since covered the top with plastic and built a little "awning" piece for over the door. That solved the leaking problem.

Otherwise, the cats do use it (after it was dried out). We will see how they like it during the colder winter months.

I can not say enough about how much I love this cat house. I was very skeptical about purchasing this for our two feral cats but was desperate to find something that would keep them safe and warm. I thought the shipping fees were excessive and almost let that kill the deal. Thankfully I didn't. The first couple of nights neither cat would go in the house. They walked by but refused to enter. We even bought cat nip to entice them to no avail. We decided to take the lid off and let them adapt slowly. That worked! On the fifth night as temperatures were starting to reach the freezing point here in the midwest, we looked out the window and to our delight they were both curled up in the straw with the lid off sleeping. The next day we put the lid on and hoped they would still go in. As night fell along with the temperature, in they went. I think this is the best outdoor cat house on the market. I have researched every cat house that I could find both on the internet as well as every walk in pet store and this is by far THE BEST. It is well designed, constructed and manufactured. Did I mention made in the USA. Worth every penny and to be quite honest if I knew before that they would use it, I would have paid more! I do not usually write opinions but I wanted to get the word out that there is a solution for all cat lovers. Also, the fox that has been terrorizing my adopted extended family can move on. When I received this sweater in the mail, the first thing I noticed was the beautiful color and quality of fabric. The purple was identical to the sweater featured on the website models and the fabric felt like genuine cotton, very soft and not that synthetic, cheap feeling material of which dog clothes are often made.

Not only was the sweater well made, (and made in America), my dog looks so cute in it. She can run around and play without being bothered and looks classy for her walks and play dates at the park. I have a dog that I assume is some kind of whippet mix. He is skinny, with a very narrow, deep chest and a thin waist. I can't attach his leash directly to his collar because his neck is thicker than his head and he can pull out of it. He can also pull himself directly out of most harnesses because of the shape of his chest. I think I've tried 5 that didn't work.

This one works. It doesn't seem like the most durable thing, but the design actually fits my dog and that is really all I can ask for at this point. I would have given this 5 stars if it was more durable.

I also got a padded one from Walkeez that works.

This flannel-lined blanket really must work; my short-haired dog was really unhappy on winter walks before we got it, but now she wants to stay outside just as long as she does in the autumn. It runs large, though: I started with an XL (my dog measures 24 inches from neck to base of tail, matching the XL description), but it was enormous--way too big to stay on her body. She's a lean dog, though. The Large fits perfectly despite being only 20" long. The seams seem well-constructed, and the lining is soft. It's reversible, with reflective striping on both faces. Be warned that the flannel lining can create some static build-up.

I could not believe how quickly I received the dog coat it's really nice! The flannel lining inside is very soft, and the outside is totally waterproof. Unfortunately, I ordered it a bit too big for my pitbull, so I gave it to a friend who has a large doberman Heidi loves her new coat! It can be very difficult to find coats for large dogs, especially affordable ones that last this is a great buy!

I should start by saying that my dog weighs about 60 pounds, and is about 22 inches from his shoulder to his rump. So, he's right in between a large and an XL according to the specs of this product. I first ordered the large, which I had to return. I could get the size large on him, but overall it was not long enough. The belt hit him around his ribcage rather than his waist, so the velcro ends of the belt overlapped by only an inch. I returned the size large because the belt was straining at his ribcage and it seemed likely to open when he moved around. Then I ordered the size XL. Unfortunately, it was too large for him. Even when I closed the chest velcro as tightly as it would go, it was still way too large, which caused the coat to sit further back on his torso. This meant the belt hit him at the smallest part of his waist, and the velcro belt was too large (not to mention that the belt was in the path of pee stream here.) But I did like the look and feel of the coat, and my buddy loved having it on, so I altered it by shortening the chest flaps with some creative sewing. This solved the fit problem. Overall, I'd say sizing could be an issue with this product. Perhaps there is not much demand for coats to fit dogs the size of my mutt, but I wish there had been a size between large and XL. I like the materials of the coat, and it seems to be very comfortable for my dog. One note about the materials is that the reflective strip wasn't attached very well and the 3 or 4 inches closest to the neck started dangling within the first week of wear.

I ordered this coat for my dog becasue its suspose to be a great coat for much colder places. when i did order i was expecting i would have to resize the neck and tummy straps since i have to do that many times with other coats. when i came in the mail i took it out and put it on my dog so i can start to adjust it before we need it. i was so happy becasue it was perfect for her. She is oddly shaped for coats since she is a muscle dog (pitt bull) She is so cute and i cant wait to use it this winter.

This is the 2nd blanket I purchased for my German Short Hair. She plays HARD! This blanket stays put even when she wrestles with the larger labs. I really like the reflective tape on it, as she does go out at night,and sometimes ventures toward the road. The fact that it is reversable is like having 2 blankets. There is a small rip in it already, probably from barbed wire on the farm, but it hasn't frayed at all,and I will patch it. I haven't washed it yet, but I am confident it will look like new when I do. Mud wipes off the nylon side. I feel this is a great value for the money!!

When I received this item, it was the "Vertical Surface" formula, which is thickened and doesn't soak down into carpet padding well. I tried to exchange the item, but EntireleyPets doesn't carry the regular formula and wouldn't refund me because if you ENLARGE the photo, it clearly says "VS" on the label. You can't use this formula as an area spray, since it dries with residue that the bottle says needs to be cleaned thoroughly before allowing pets near it. The vendor has been pretty uncooperative I ordered through them directly and they charged me $20 more than if I had ordered through Amazon.com and wouldn't pricematch their OWN price! Probably will not order from this vendor again.

Ordered a 500 ml bottle and black light. It worked reasonably well, but not perfect (you first apply Urine-Off, then let it dry then reapply and let it dry again usually several times before cat urine stains are gone). Anyway it worked and I ordered a 5 litre bottle, which does not seem to work at all and customer service does not reply to my mails very disappointing.

But worst part is almost the smell that Urine-Off leaves behind its almost worse than the urine smell itselft. Still looking for a proper cat urine stain remover!

We bought a house that reaked of cat urine. We had to tear up all the carpet and padding and them we used a paint roller brush to coat the subfloor with urine-off. It worked like a charm. We let it dry over a couple of days and then put down new padding and carpet and you could never tell their were cats in the house that had a urine problem. Better yet, we have 2 cats that we worried would be able to smell the old urine and start urinating everywhere trying to mark their territory. That never happened! So this stuff works great. I use it on everything that my cats pee on. Once they peed on my sofa and I used this and had it professionally cleaned and you can't tell they peed on it at all. Great product! This product may in fact neutralize the urine but it's hard to say since it comes with an overpowering perfume. The company is proud of the fragrance saying that focus groups asked for it. I have a message for them: sometimes the customer is Wrong.

I have used a number of different products including the most popular brands on the market. Urine Off is the best odor remover I have found. When I apply it to a urine stain however, I put a piece of plastic over the stain after the Urine Off treatment and leave it there for a couple of days. I found that by doing this, the Urine Off has more time to work on the spot. I got a new Shih Tzu puppy and thought she was completely house broken. I was wrong and when the carpet in our exercise room started to smell, I took a black light to the carpet and found out why. After using the Urine Off the smell is gone.

I needed a crate for a blind puppy and a geriatic dog and this crate fills the bill for both purposes. I own two puppy pens, but neither the puppy or older dog could enter or exit those pens by themselves because of the elevated door heights, and lifting them in and out gets tiring. The pen goes together fairly easily and the wheels are a plus for moving it to a different location or cleaning under it, which can't be done with my other pens. Both newspapers and disposable pads fit it perfectly, as does my hanging water bottle and hanging feeding dish. The door mechanism is easy to use even for stiff fingers and the top door (which is only half size) is large enough to lift a puppy in or out. The crate arrived well packaged, plenty of packing materials and all parts needed for assembly!

I just got this product today, and the only complaint i have is that the instructions have no english translation....but there are pictures to go by. This crate is a lot larger than i had exected....dont let that little dog in the pic fool you XD But all in all i love this cage and wish i had got one sooner. It is large enough to fit the small pee pad holders in so its great for puppy training. And its very sturdy, i just dont think i would put anything over a med sized dog in it.

I have recently bought and installed the large Endura double flap dog door. Installation went very smoothly indeed, largely because I dispensed with the metal tunnel and simply blocked out an oversized opening(from previous pet door) in the wall using 2x6's up against the studs. The door itself is amazing. Even though it is the highest priced dog door I have seen on the market, it is a bargain in the long run for sure. I have installed and replaced the cheaper flap kind over the years. From the looks of this Endura door, I will not need to replace it in my lifetime. The weather seal function is incredible very well designed and durable, much better than the competition. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AS THE BEST VALUE PET DOOR even without the increased savings from the better seal. One caveat note it is called a dog door and not a pet door. The flap may require more push than other pets a cat or rabbit could muster.

Overall:

After having installed 2 of these, this is head and shoulders above any other dog doors I've ever used, for the reasons listed below:

Insulation Each door is double-paned, so to speak, with hollow cores

Sealing Most doors only have magnets along the bottom edge; these flaps are magnetically sealed on both sides as well as the bottom

Construction Solid framing, metal tunnel, solid hinges and a quality lock-door for the inside

Installation Well thought-out instructions (if you don't find 4 nuts included, don't fret, the nuts are now threaded inside the outside framing)

Completeness Included are silicone sealant for the tunnel's seams, 303 vinyl solar protectant for the flaps as well as a metal-cutting jigsaw blade. Nice touch.

Living in high desert, we get hot days and cold nights up to 60 degree swings between day and night and constant wind (saw 65 mph gusts today). This is the only door I've had that doesn't include a cold spot on the floor beside it. It seals well and doesn't blow open. Ever. I haven't had to close it in the middle of the night because of a storm, haven't had to build a doghouse "tunnel" outside it or do anything else to help insulate the house better, nor have I had to replace any of the components. It looks brand-new after 6 months of constant use.

Installation for both the doors I've put in took in the neighborhood of 8 hours, which is about par for putting a dog door in (for me, at least). That includes having to re-route electrical wire that ran through the studs (and the trip to the big-box store for junction boxes, wire and wire nuts). That being said, I would definitely recommend a stud-finder that includes a current detector like the Zircon i65 or the Zircon i520, so you don't put your sawzall through anything you don't intend to. You'll need a sawzall, too.

It's expensive, but totally worth it.

Great high qualitydog door. Flaps seal terrifically. My only complaint that left this a 4 versus a 5 rating, is that the flap would only work without additional fabrication on an 8" thick wall opening. My house is brick and the total wall opening is about 8.5 inches. I had to trim out the inside of the door framing with self stick floor tiles to make the flap work properly. The linoleum self stick tiles actually make for a better inside finish than the stock metal/aluminum.

It took a lot longer to train our 85 pound Weimaraner to go through this that it was for the single-flap door we had through the back door of our old house. This was due to the extra heft/thickness of the doors, the 3 magnets instead of just one, plus the double doors. He kept thinking that it was shut when he hit the 2nd door. However, now he going in and out with ease.

Love the insulating properties of this compared to the single flap model through the door. Over the lifetime of the product/house I'm sure that this will end up paying for itself in energy savings.

Yes this is all plastic, but dont let that fool you. It is rather strong plastic and works well at gathering large and small piles.

Pros:

Light weight, easy to use (good height), comes with handy clamp to keep the two pieces together, wide bucket, fairly sturdy, pretty cheap.

Cons:

Rake will break in time but that is an easy fix, doesn't work well in taller grass, doesn't work too well in rocks.

Overall, i would recommend this, I have back problems and find it very helpful.

since my efforts to teach my dogs to pick up after themselves has failed, this item is greatly needed.

it is much better that the wood handled one that I got at a pet store, as teh wood has faded and the metal has started to rust a bit.

the plastic rake and scoop portion clean up with a quick spray from the garden hose. the aluminum handle seems better and is a screw in to the pan. (unlike the previous mentioned one that the handle was held in by rivets, that eventually popped out.)
