I have these in my dog crates and a few scattered through the house/yard. They hold up well, wash well, and never rust. The flat side is nice against a crate/kennel. I use S-biners to hang them, which I prefer to carabiners. Dishwasher safe too. I would definitely purchase again. The 2-quart size is just right for my labradors.

I bought this pail for my dog's kennel because she had broke her plastic one.So I needed a more durable product.Well this flat sided pail was the answer. It's good quality and has no sharp edges. I think this pail is great.

I really like the flat sided pails as they sit on the sides of crates and cages better without having the pail tilted out to be hit. They were heavy duty enough to resist denting. The only thing that I didn't like was that the label was attached to the inside bottom of the pail and they would not come off. I had to buy a special glue remover to get it off so I could use them as I had tried soaking them, nail polish remover and a knife to scrape them off. I thought that was ridiculous. Other than that I am expecting years of use from them.

Pros Good price! This really is a good pail and the flat side helps it stay place. The bonus is that it keeps my dog's ears out of the water but even better--whenever he drinks it cleans his mustache!!

Cons, Not really a con but it has to be attached to something or it would fall over. i have a plastic puppy xpen and works great attached to the side of it.

Upon receiving the Pro Select Empire crate for my dog, I was in dire need of a new water bowl that was smaller in diameter than her previous one as it no longer fit in the smaller crate with her bed.

I came on to Amazon and found this bucket and decided to see it it wold work. The flat side lies up against the wall of the crate which support it. It has a handle that can conveniently be clipped to the crate bar to prevent it from tipping over.

And the size is perfect in that her bed now fits flat in the crate. The 4 Qt size works so she does not run out of water during the day.

I am very pleased with this product.

I found this while doing a general search on the internet for a door protector. My wife and I moved into a brand new house and were only here about 10 days when we took in a 9 year old German Shep that needed a home. Due to his situation, he has TERRIBLE separation anxiety and ended up damaging one of our doors. Short of crating him, this type of product was our only option. I have actually ordered a second one to use in conjunction with this one. Our boy is very tall and can actually reach higher than it covers, so I am going to "double up" and fix that problem. In the meantime, I also received a very nice email from the seller. Have no hesitation in trying this product out, it is a winner!

I didn't look at it close enough in the picture because it only covers the part of the door and frame around the door knob then down but my dog was scratching up the bottom of the door and less so the area it covers. It was not long enough for our door and the very bottom was still able to be scratched. At one point my 15 pound dog was able to knock it off the door handle and chewed up 2 sides of it. It's basically a piece of flexible plastic with a hole in it you hang on your door knob. For me it wasn't worth what I paid for it.

If you have a tiny dog with a tiny mouth, this is the perfect toy for your pet. It makes them feel like a big dog with a tennis ball. I have a toy poodle and her little mouth could not get a hold of a tennis ball to save her life, but she acts like the Air Kong Squeaker is the real thing. Plus it makes a squeaky noise to attract the pet's attention. All in all a great find for little ones!

Call Kong about this, turns out THIS toy is not covered under their warranty, AND they offered to replace it for "FREE" as a one time only offer if I would return it to them. At a cost of $2.00+ to mail it back to them, the replacement SURE isn't going to be free, in fact it is going to cost me MORE to replace it from Kong than it would cost to just BUY a new one

Bottom line, avoid this shoddy Chinese made product like the plague

I learned recently that traditional tennis balls are too abrasive for dogs' teeth. Hence this purchase. While Kong has addressed the abrasion issue, these "tennis balls" are otherwise very poorly designed and constructed.

First, the felt covering is not secured well to the underlying rubber ball. My dog partially ripped the felt off all three balls in this set within the first play session.

Second, the rubber ball underneath is not a solid, one piece ball, but composed of two pieces glued together in the middle. As you can imagine, with a little chewing, the seal splits and you're left with the two pieces. In other words, the traditional white-colored tennis ball seam you see wrapping around the felt is surface layer only and simply decorative.

The ease with which these balls have the felt detached and split into two smaller pieces make this an extremely dangerous choking hazard. Please see my photos above before buying this dangerous toy.

All owners need to monitor toys for damage and discard them when appropriate, because no toy will last forever. But the fact that these balls can be destroyed literally upon first use makes them a complete waste of money, in addition to the choking danger.

I've bought four of these packs (12 balls). The squeaker dies within minutes! If it wasn't for the squeaker, I'd just use my old tennis balls. The squeaker quality on these things are terrible. For the price, these things are a rip off.

I got this item to take to a specific puppy training class that requires crating when the dog isn't working. I needed the class crate to be easily carried/assembled, big enough to hold my XL puppy, and affordable.

PROS:

1. This crate "assembles" by zipping 2 sections closed. No problem for a person, even working alone. It folds flat and slips into its carrying case with handles.

2. There are open-mesh sections on 3 sides to allow for ventilation. If your dog prefers more privacy, you can lower additional fabric flaps to completely cover the mesh on the sides (the front "door" mesh does not have a way to cover it). The ability to cover the mesh is a good feature if you have a reactive dog who needs to be sequestered from outside distractions.

3. Reasonable price.

CONS:

1. It's big, but still not big enough for the truly giant dog. My puppy is about 30" at the shoulder, 115 lbs, and long in the body. He cannot stand in the crate, and when sitting he has to slouch down like a gargoyle to fit. Lying down, he has to curl up much more than he would normally.

2. I doubt it would contain any dog who isn't a crate-lover. My dog can easily unzip this with his paw, and certainly could tear the mesh open to escape if he wanted to.

My dog is never unattended in this crate since we just use it for class or for dog shows where he simply needs a place to hang out away from the crowd. I would not suggest using this as your primary kenneling method (especially since a standard wire crate can be purchased for not much more). For travel, overnight visits, etc., I think this is a good option---assuming that your doggy is already accustomed to crating.

Overall a good choice for the right dog and situations!

This is more adorable that it even looks in the photo! We just received it today in the small size. It is plenty big enough for my 6 lb. chihuahua, and could easily hold two (if the two would get along with each other). It is like a mini tent with the roll-up windows (velcro to fasten on the sides and rear, tie and velcro in front.) The front and back sections lift up from the inside and are zipped into place. A bottom mat is provided with a sheepskin type covering. Pockets are on the outside of the crate/tent that can hold a few supplies. The top of the crate has a strap to make it easier to carry -but, I have not tried carrying our pup in it. When folded up, the crate fits into a very nice carrying case that also has pockets on the outside of it. I'll try to post photos of it and give an update after we've used it for a week of traveling.

I bought this to transport my 32 pound / 18" Australian Shepherd girl in the back of my MINI Cooper Countryman. The top wire support comes out via a zipper and the wires for horizontal side supports (that aren't needed) can be removed easily too. So, I was able to reshape this crate into a trapezoid to fit in the cargo area behind the seats. There is no bottom support to make it heavy or to become damaged in the event of an accident or a wet dog. I like this crate. I wish soft crates were available with slanted fronts and backs by design, but until someone make those, I am SO happy I could re-engineer this one to fit my limited space.

They last forever, at least for whippets, and the best thing for our sanity is the turtle makes a much quieter honking sound. The kitty-shaped toy makes a piercing squeak that the dog loves, but which can get a little irritating for the humans involved.

When I got this in the mail, it was a very cute little toy and my dog loved to chew on it...for the whole 20 minutes that it lasted. The first thing she did was turn the little tail into a nub, and then she chewed through the neck and actually separated the head from the rest of the body. It was nice while it lasted, but I was expecting a bit more from a toy that is called "ruffians." The only toys my dog hasn't been able to kill, although this was very quick by her standards, are the West Paw ones.

It's not clear from the description or the packaging image, but this is a small toy. A choking hazard for big*, or even mid-sized dogs. In fact this toy, as shipped, is identical in size/weight to the "1.6 oz" Cat Dog Toy by the same manufacturer, despite being listed as 3.2 oz.

This company does make wonderful, durable products, and provided you have the correct size, they make for excellent toys.

*like our Retrievers. Who get to play with it supervised they love them, but they really love the big dog versions.

our Great Dane, Kenya, actually stole this toy from her Rat Terrier cousin, Ray Charles. She has a green one and can't do without it now. She completely ignores all other toys, and knows where the green turtle is at all times. I ordered a bear for her and can't wait to see if she likes it. This hoodie is vividly colored, has nice detailing, and seems to be well constructed. It fits my 20 pound terrier mix just right. I've seen other listings that this size (medium) will fit dogs up to 28 pounds, but I have doubts about that. It's a great fit now and hope it won't shrink in the future.

This hoodie has made it through several laundry cycles with no fading or shrinkage, so I'm very happy with it.

A note about the style: As another reviewer noted, this hoodie is cut straight across the bottom--like the sleeve of a sweatshirt, only looser--which is fine for my little girl dog, but for a boy it would need to be rolled up a bit.

I recently purchased this sweater for my lab/boxer mix puppy. She's 22" long and weighs around 50lbs. She was close to the max chest measurement and weight for the Large sized so I purchased one size up. It is a tiny bit long for her but doesn't get in the way for toileting. If she was male though it might. At first she wasn't sure about wearing it. Now when it is cold she doesn't fuss at all about putting it on because it keeps her warm. I plan on getting it in other colors.

If you order this order one size up. I returned this item and ordered the next size and it was a fit perfect. Problem is because of the sizing being stated wrong, I was not issued a full refund for this as I had to pay the shipping and handling to send it back(which was more than half of the cost of the item) even though it was the fault of whom ever did the sizing of these and not my fault. I just bought this hoodie for my 10 month old Pit bull. I'm usually not one to dress my dogs but being a first time owner of the breed I quickly realized they don't have much to protect them from the cold. So far my girl loves it and wears it with no problems. She is about 60 lbs and built like most pitties, with a large chest, so I ordered an X-Large and am very glad I did. It is a bit long on her, and that may be a problem with owners of male dogs, but it works fine for her, just goes all the way down to her butt. It's looser on her stomach area but when she sits you can tell it's perfect for her chest size, she would have never fit into a Large. I would definitely go by size of chest and not length especially if your an owner of a stocky breed. By the sizing guide that came on the hoodie, "Bulldogs" would be Large but that's based on length.

I'm impressed how comfortable she is in it, and it's a quality product. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to buy something their dog can lounge in and still be warm for trips outside. It's a good balance for those of us who usually don't dress our pets!

This product stopped our 6 year old Sheltie, Sadie, from trembling when she senses thunderstorms approaching. Sadie is 30 lbs, which means 2 pills per day, once per feeding. She still senses the storms as far as 40 miles away, and will go to a safe place in the middle of the house, but she no longer trembles, and she doesn't get between your feet wherever you go when thunderstorms are approaching or at the house. Revival said it takes about 4-5 days to build up in the dog's system; so this is not meant as a "I hear thunder, I'd better give my dog a pill." In general she is less worried over things and relaxes better. However she is still as playful and full of energy and spunk as before. I see no decrease in her playfulness. Just a lot less worry. Well worth it during thunderstorm season.

Update Jan 4, 2013:

New data point: Ran out of the pills while on travel. Had forgotten that Sadie also trembled when traveling in the car, and she did tremble some while off the pills and riding in the car and while left at my daughter's house when we were gone for a day. She never trembled while on the pills.

Another data point: About a month ago I gave a bottle of the pills to my neighbor whose dog was going through separation anxiety after a sibling dog died. Every time the owner would leave the house on errands, the dog would pant and tremble heavily and constantly bark. The owner reported back to me that the pills had eased the dog's anxiety and that she was now doing well. No more incessant barking.
