This chain was a little heavier than what I wanted, but it was in the right length for my 73 pound Golden Retriever. He didn't seem to mind the weight though, and I was glad it is as strong as it is, when he starts pulling. I only put it on him when we go for a walk, because I know a choke chain can harm or even kill a dog if he gets hung up in it. I know of a dog that jumped over a fence and strangled himself when the chain caught on the fence. But it is the best thing to use in training. You just want to not leave it on when you are not around.

a spray like "Flea-Free Breeze", which not only kills fleas but also keeps flea eggs from developing into biting adults, is a valuable tool in controling and preventing fleas in your home. i bought this product once, and it worked fine. there wasn't an unpleasant chemical odor. the fragrance was pleasant, but any time i used this product in our home, it would cause my husband and i both to start sneezing horribly. we've used other brands of flea-killing fabric spray as well as Febreze in our home in the past without having this kind of problem, so i never expected to have this kind of reaction. a fabric spray that both kills fleas and provides a fresh fragrance really is a great idea, but if you're even the least bit sensitive to perfume-y, artificial fragrances (which we generally aren't), you should probably steer clear of this product.

We had a huge flea problem. I was killing fleas all day. I hated to get out of bed to even go to the bathroom. I hated coming home due to the fleas. We use this as part of a preventative plan. We have 3 dogs and one cat that are all indoor/outdoor. We started using this product back in April 2011 as part of a flea prevention plan. Because 2 of our dogs are Pomeranian's and our cat is long haired sometimes I think some of the monthly treatment gets lost in their fur and they don't get the full treatment no matter how hard we try.

The cost Sergeant's 24-Ounce Flea-Free Breeze Home and Carpet Spray is more than regular fabric sprays like Febreeze, but it is much cheaper than battling fleas once infested. We use the spray about once a week during the hot months (which in San Antonio was 9 months out of the year). We spray the pets bedding, the area rug on our wood floors and our chenille sofas (which we bought before we had dogs and hope to change out with leather for Christmas).

If we actually see a flea or our groomer finds them on the dogs then all the pet beds and sofa pillows and cushions get taken out to the porch and given a generous spraying of SentryHOME Flea and Tick Home and Carpet Spray 96-Fluid Ounce and the carpets get a dusting of flea carpet sprinkle after the spray dries.

Use some of the home and carpet spray to saturate a cotton ball and put inside your vacuum bag or keep a flea collar in the bag to kill any fleas that get sucked up. They can get out. It is best to take your vacuum outside and empty the bag (or cylinder as we have a Dyson) and seal it in a garbage back and take directly to the trash. Put the cotton ball or flea collar in the vacuum before taking it back in the house. Cotton balls should be changed every time you vacuum, flea collars can be reused for about 6 months and are also a good preventative measure.

I have a 2012 Cadillac SRX and I wanted to drive my dog around like I used to before I got a new car, but he's SO hairy and still a crazy puppy that I'm not ready for my new car to look like my old one.

We have a Siberian Husky, and this fits just right in our SUV trunk ('08 Acura MDX) and doesn't allow ANY hair to escape when it's all zipped up. The dog does great in there and gets plenty of air through the mesh. Honestly, I think he likes it better... he seems much more relaxed being in an enclosure like this. The only issue is collapsing it into the included backpack-it's very challenging.

These are well made and look great. I will say that I agree they run small. Fortunately I bought this for a friends dog and she is a little smaller Golden, so I ordered an XL from the previous review and it worked out for me. I have two lab and it would never have fit them. The XL I would say in most peoples eyes is a medium. I would not order this for a dog over 60 lbs.

I personally know 5 people who had to have surgery on their dogs because of this toy. Yes, it's fun(and the medium size fits it a large chuck-it) but those FEET. I've known dogs who chewed and swallowed the feet in a matter of seconds.. some passed them within 48 hours but five unlucky ones got obstructions and had to have surgery(one cost over $2,500. Some people are smart and simply cut the feet off while I simply buy the "Other cuz" which has posts instead of feet which I highly recommend.

I have a purebred ladrador, who is a strong chewer and destroys almost every toy I have bought her within DAYS (3 days max). This toy, however, is VERY durable! I bought it about 3 months ago and there isn't a rip or hole on it. It has a high pitch squeak to it when the dog (or you) squeezes the ball. It definitely gets my dogs attention!!! I really like this ball over other balls I have bought, mainly because this one has feet. With feet, you can never predit where it will bounce or where it will decide to go. It keeps my dog guessing and she loves playing fetch with it. I am so happy so my purchase-it's perfect for destructable puppies and adult dogs.

My dog loves this toy and the squeak it makes. He runs around with it and chews it as well as chases it and plays fetch. The one problem I have with this toy is that I'm about to by my third one because the squeaker breaks. I now have two Cuz toys (all smooth round, one yellow and one green) with broken squeakers and one Dino Cuz that seems to be more durable. Yes, the rubber stays in tact but the squeaker helps me leash train my puppy and get his attention so I really rely on it.

My three and a half yr. old Westie loves the Cuz but they should be checked from time to time. My dog is not a chewer-he loves to chase the Cuz when I throw it. I noticed a few months ago the feet were missing and I found one but never found the other one but did not think too much about it. About 1 month ago Riley got sick and ended up at the vets for emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction caused by the Cuz foot. I stronly recommend that if you have/get one, periodically check the feet and make sure the rubber has not cracked or that the feet are not loose. He has another one and I have cut the feet off of it.

I purchased this item to contain my three medium-sized dogs. The size of my doorway is less than 50", so I worried a little that this would be way too large and bulky. Because I have plenty of room, I set it up as a "Z" and it's not going anywhere. It's too tall for them to jump the fence and with walls on either end of my wide doorway opening to use as leverage, it's completely secure. I think that each doorway situation with the necessary clearance to secure either end makes all the difference. It folds into the three layers and nicely slides next to my refrigerator for storage. This is attractive and highly functional and I'm so glad I found it!

Let me first say that I did not pay attention to the actual measurements when I ordered this gate... it's much bigger than I realized. It is also HEAVIER than I expected. (So note to self, pay attention to those details the next time you buy something like this online)!

Although the gate is bigger than I realized it still works perfectly where I needed it. It is very sturdy and made really well. My cats LOVE that they can sit on one side of the gate and the dog can't get them, so they are pretty happy with it! Also, I love the steel bars! My last gate had wooden bars and one cat wouldn't stop gnawing on them until he chewed right through it! (Hence the need for a new gate). He can't ruin this one!

Well worth the investment (even though I cringed a little when first placing my order)! :o)

I was a little hesitant after reading other reviews saying small animals could get through between the bars.

I have to say the spacing was closer than I expected. Our small dog can't get through the bars.

Since the description doesn't list the spacing I measured, it is 2 1/4" between the bars.

It's sturdy and tall enough to keep animals that can jump out. Installation only took a couple of minutes, and you do not need to drill holes or use the pads if putting it into a doorway.

When our daughter was born on july 3rd the heat in our upstairs bedroom was very uncomfortable for my wife. we needed something to allow us to keep the bedroom door open for airflow and to keep our 2 dogs and 2 cats out of the newborns crib etc.

i went out to petsamrt and paid $90 including the tax for this same petdoor. it worked so well i went and bought a 2nd one for the nursery room. and now i am looking at a third one to put in the cat room to keep the dogs out of the cat food and litter box. i was extremely pleased to find the gate here for $30 less and free shipping!!

the gates took 10 minutes to install and you do not need to screw into your walls to use the cups. i didnt i just set the tension against the door frames. it still allows the doors to be closed and openned for privacy when my brother and his girlfriend visited. it has been 4 weeks and not once has it slipped at all.

I just tried to install this gate this past weekend. It had a great price (at a local store), and I've used Regalo's hook-on dining chairs (with satisfaction). However, I was disappointed in this gate for a couple of reasons (noted below). I have a KidCo Center Gateway installed on the bottom of my stairs and it is truly pressure mounted no screwing/nailing involved. However, the Kidco is "short" or regular sized. I haven't tried any other brand of gate.

Cons:

*This is not a truly pressure gate as the description says. You have to put screws in your wall to install little cups on the wall. The description says how easy it is to put and take down ummmm are you going to put these screws in the wall everywhere you go? The directions say many times you have to mount these screws/cups.

*Installed without the screws/cups and pressure mounted as tight as I could (I did not need an extension)...the gate seemed flimsy for a toddler to stand there and shake/rattle it. I think the handle/locking-mechanism could be designed better to make it more solid when closed.

*The gate opening is not very wide (although I think I read that up front or in a review somewhere else)...the Kidco gate is nice and wide (although shorter)

Pros:

*The price and size

*I imagine this would be good for medium to small animals (not sure about large) I'm just guessing.

*One small extension comes with it.

I'm returning this gate I just don't feel its going to hold up and be safe enough for my toddlers (without putting holes in my wall). However, if you are getting this for animals or for some other reason where there won't be much wear and tear...or you don't mind putting holes in your wall...this gate might work for you!

I just moved into a two story home and the bedrooms are upstairs. I'm also the crazy cat lady who has 3 cats so I don't want the kitties on my clothes or black bed sheets. I tried closing the doors upstairs but then it just made the AC blow constantly and turn the downstairs into an icebox. My solution, this super cool, super sturdy, super easy to setup, super tall baby/pet gate! I'm 5'11 and it comes up way above my waist. I challenge super boing kitty to try to jump over this one! Took me about 5 minutes to setup only because I actually read the directions. Fit in my door frame nicely (covers the entire bottom half of the door) and the easy release lever on top works as promised. The only con I could see for this entire thing is that if you're grossly obese, you would have a hard time fitting through the narrower part that opens but I think that would only apply to a few people. It's a really amazing gate.

I think this would be the perfect gate for anyone for both children and pets.

The gate is tall and has worked from day one. My 95 pound chocolate lab mix was not able to climb over it or push it down, which he did that with other gates. My husband and I are very happy with the product.

I don't have a con about the gate, just a comment. This is a sturdy gate that is very obvious in my kitchen. While you can dismantle it, I would imagine it would take a minute or two to do so. That being said, this is the kind of gate I needed to keep the dog in the kitchen, so it's worth it.

If you're looking for something to occupy a heavy chewer this is not your product. I'd gotten my dog a compressed bone before (different brand though, can't remember what it was) and was very impressed with how long it took her to get through it. She was on it for days. This bone she got through in less than an hour. There was a lot of hollow space inside the bone "shell" too. I was pretty disappointed because I paid less for the better bone she'd gotten before. She's only 9 months and not even full "wolf" size. I'm going to keep looking for a more durable compressed bone because she does love them a lot.

the only reason i give it 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the sizing. My dog is 17 pounds and based on other reviews i went with a medium and it's pretty loose on her. She's able to curl her back legs up into it, which looks cute/funny but causes some issues with it getting tangled up and her wriggling out of it. other than that i have no issue, fabric is similar to a thermal/long john, shipping was pretty quick. my only advice is to order slightly smaller than you think your dog needs. but that's just my opinion :)

Overall, I'm really happy with this hoodie. I have two small issues. First, the material is super-thin. It is waffled, but I guess I was expecting it to be more like a "people" hoodie with thicker material. This is more a spring time/cool weather material rather than the thicker, warmer material I was looking for during the winter time/cold weather. It's a little tricky to put on, since I have to put my dog's legs in first and then yank it up over his head. Luckily, I have a very tolerant dog, so he doesn't mind much. My second issue is that after it's on, the front between the neck and the leg holes doesn't seem like there is enough fabric there. When my boxer/lab mix stands or tries to walk, it seems like the leg hole hems are pulling tight across the front of his legs, and possibly inhibiting his movement a bit. Again, he's a very tolerant dog, so he doesn't seem to care much, but just a heads up in case you have a long, leggy dog like mine.
