I have a little boy who cannot be trusted in the house when mommy and daddy go out. So we had to make him a little enclosed area outside where he could not access the doggie door (to come into our house) when we are gone. We got this dog house for him and he likes it. Our ten-year old grandson helped his grandpa put it together, and it went together nicely and did not outgas chemical smells. I throw an old quilt in there, and when we go out we open the back door to the garage, and he runs and gets in his dog house happily. Of course he is even happier when we come home and he can greet us and come inside our house. I ordered a porch for his house but it has been on back order for awhile (I ordered it when Amazon had a temporary price reduction as they sometimes do for some reason). The cage is the perfect size for my Yorkie, but the bottom of the cage is bent and the door does not stay closed. Because the bottom is bent the tray wobbles and I have to put the cage door against the wall because if I don't the dog can open it. I called and they said they would send another one but it's been about 2 weeks and I have not received it or the refund as they said. A little dissapointed because I paid for a defective product.

I bought this for our schanuazer/terrier mix for a recent trip we were taking. We flew and I needed something that would easily fit in a carryon so we could save some extra money. This crate worked very well for nights, she didn't fit all that well into it (my mistake on measuring her). Nice and sturdy, easy to work with. When I looked at the advertisement for chicken strips from Smoke House, they were made in the US however these duck tenders are made in China. I bought this harness very skeptical about the quality. I was also scared it would be too bulky and harsh for my English Bulldog Cooper. The pink spiked harness was a compromise with my husband who has wanted to put her in spikes since she was a puppy. When I got home one afternoon my husband had already put the harness on Cooper and had her waiting for me wearing it. Not only did she look absolutely beautiful, but the harness was sturdy. Cheap Petrageous Designs Pooch Basics 9" Pet Treat Jar

You know those places in the mall where you can take your children to paint a ceramic something or another? That would have been better quality. The jar came in a big box, not wrapped, rather thrown on top of, bubble wrap. Of course the jar was cracked in 3 places. I was first thinking "OK, Its a dog treat jar, I'll glue it back together and move on...." Then I realized that the "TREATS" written on the jar was smudge all over the place; apparently it smeared before it was fired in the kiln. What a poor item. Hands down, the worst thing I've ever received from Amazon. The seller should be reevaluated, or lynched... one or the other...

The jar arrived well packaged and looked just like the picture, but the seal was shabby from the beginning. It was really hard to open and close the lid (especially if you're doing this daily to get treats out), and our lid cracked in half after one week. Very disappointing.

This is a great treat jar and looks great it my kitchen! The seal works very good; almost a little too good as it is hard to get the lid off sometimes. But, the treats stay fresh in the jar. The shirts itself is so well made, but the day I ordered it I emailed the dealer and asked for a larger size, stating I was afraid I had ordered the wrong size and was told that they were sure it would be alright but that the larger size was a good one. but they would not change the order. But, even though the shirt "almost" fit, it was made very small across the chest with no stretch. so it was too small, otherwise it fit. When I wanted to return for another size, they said, no problem but there will be a 3.00 charge along with shipping. So I feel that was bad service. I was a little hesitant after reading other reviews saying small animals could get through between the bars.

I have to say the spacing was closer than I expected. Our small dog can't get through the bars.

Since the description doesn't list the spacing I measured, it is 2 1/4" between the bars.

It's sturdy and tall enough to keep animals that can jump out. Installation only took a couple of minutes, and you do not need to drill holes or use the pads if putting it into a doorway.

When our daughter was born on july 3rd the heat in our upstairs bedroom was very uncomfortable for my wife. we needed something to allow us to keep the bedroom door open for airflow and to keep our 2 dogs and 2 cats out of the newborns crib etc.

i went out to petsamrt and paid $90 including the tax for this same petdoor. it worked so well i went and bought a 2nd one for the nursery room. and now i am looking at a third one to put in the cat room to keep the dogs out of the cat food and litter box. i was extremely pleased to find the gate here for $30 less and free shipping!!

the gates took 10 minutes to install and you do not need to screw into your walls to use the cups. i didnt i just set the tension against the door frames. it still allows the doors to be closed and openned for privacy when my brother and his girlfriend visited. it has been 4 weeks and not once has it slipped at all.

I just tried to install this gate this past weekend. It had a great price (at a local store), and I've used Regalo's hook-on dining chairs (with satisfaction). However, I was disappointed in this gate for a couple of reasons (noted below). I have a KidCo Center Gateway installed on the bottom of my stairs and it is truly pressure mounted no screwing/nailing involved. However, the Kidco is "short" or regular sized. I haven't tried any other brand of gate.

Cons:

*This is not a truly pressure gate as the description says. You have to put screws in your wall to install little cups on the wall. The description says how easy it is to put and take down ummmm are you going to put these screws in the wall everywhere you go? The directions say many times you have to mount these screws/cups.

*Installed without the screws/cups and pressure mounted as tight as I could (I did not need an extension)...the gate seemed flimsy for a toddler to stand there and shake/rattle it. I think the handle/locking-mechanism could be designed better to make it more solid when closed.

*The gate opening is not very wide (although I think I read that up front or in a review somewhere else)...the Kidco gate is nice and wide (although shorter)

Pros:

*The price and size

*I imagine this would be good for medium to small animals (not sure about large) I'm just guessing.

*One small extension comes with it.

I'm returning this gate I just don't feel its going to hold up and be safe enough for my toddlers (without putting holes in my wall). However, if you are getting this for animals or for some other reason where there won't be much wear and tear...or you don't mind putting holes in your wall...this gate might work for you!

I just moved into a two story home and the bedrooms are upstairs. I'm also the crazy cat lady who has 3 cats so I don't want the kitties on my clothes or black bed sheets. I tried closing the doors upstairs but then it just made the AC blow constantly and turn the downstairs into an icebox. My solution, this super cool, super sturdy, super easy to setup, super tall baby/pet gate! I'm 5'11 and it comes up way above my waist. I challenge super boing kitty to try to jump over this one! Took me about 5 minutes to setup only because I actually read the directions. Fit in my door frame nicely (covers the entire bottom half of the door) and the easy release lever on top works as promised. The only con I could see for this entire thing is that if you're grossly obese, you would have a hard time fitting through the narrower part that opens but I think that would only apply to a few people. It's a really amazing gate.

I think this would be the perfect gate for anyone for both children and pets.

The gate is tall and has worked from day one. My 95 pound chocolate lab mix was not able to climb over it or push it down, which he did that with other gates. My husband and I are very happy with the product.

I don't have a con about the gate, just a comment. This is a sturdy gate that is very obvious in my kitchen. While you can dismantle it, I would imagine it would take a minute or two to do so. That being said, this is the kind of gate I needed to keep the dog in the kitchen, so it's worth it.

The collar came in a package and it was bent in half and there was no fixing the crease in it. It smelled pretty badly, and it was also WAY too large for my dog's neck. In general it was just a crappy quality collar compared to the waterproof Hamilton one..

A good product for the price. The door is easy to attatch, made of good quality durable vinyl. The only drawback is that it is not wide enough. There are gaps of about an inch on the right and left side. The wind can get in but it will keep out snow and rain...the main reason I bought it.

My 10 lb. puppies don't seem to have the knack of pushing through it yet to go in/out ...but neither do they like to use the doghouse much in the winter.

MY RECOMMENDATION:Maybe it would be better for a truly outdoor type dog breed who spends more time in a doghouse and needs the protection.

I've been recommending this stuff to my clients for the last 13 years. Used it myself recently for the first time. Worked great! Just carefully follow the directions on the can. Do not use on your pets! MAKE SURE to use an appropriate flea/tick control agent on your pet. If your pet is out in a yard regularly, treat the yard with an appropriate yard spray as well.

Fleas are tough to get rid of. You have to treat the indoor environment, outdoor environment, and the pet at the same time. Fleas, like butterflies, make a cocoon before emerging as a disease spreading, allergy creating, anemia causing pest. The sprays one weakness is that it can't penetrate the cocoon. Pupated fleas can take up to seven months to hatch. You need to have flea control on your pet(s) to kill these new fleas as they emerge.

Vacuuming frequently will encourage hatching. The vibration causes hatching. These hatching fleas do not mean that this product has failed. These new fleas are not able to reproduce, that's the nylar in the spray. It effects the development of the exoskeleton of the flea. It's too soft to get out of it's egg. TMI?

These new fleas are "self limiting" and last around 30 days. This is why the pet topical flea control is an essential part of the treatment for flea infestation.

After you vacuum when using knockout, make sure you throw away the bag or wash the bag-less canister. I went as far as spraying mine with a little knockout after washing it with hot soapy water.

Flea Statistics to encourage you to kill all the fleas:

For every one flea you see, statistically there are 100 more in the environment! The adult stage is found primarily on the pet. Only 5% of the fleas in your environment are in the adult stage. 10% are in the pupated stage, 35% larvae, and 50% in the egg stage. One flea can lay up to 2,000 eggs in a life time.

Went to my mothers house for dinner. Her living room rug was loaded with fleas. Got the virbac and sprayed the carpet. Not a flea was jumping afterwards. The following Sunday though, the fleas were back. Honestly, I think she just had a major infestation. She ended up calling a professional service. They treated, but the following Sunday she still had fleas. Fleas are extremely hard to get rid of. A one-time treatment does not work. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I used this spray last summer to control a heavy flea infestation, and I purchased it again, so I would say I am reasonably happy with it.

Pros:

It doesn't have a horrible odor, and what it does have, goes away quickly.

It's more non-toxic than most flea sprays

It is supposed to control fleas for 6 months.

One can does about 4 rooms with heavy spraying.

I liked the aerosol can much better than a "bomb" type, because you can get under things, however, then you inevitably breathe in some of the product.

Cons:

You really want to HEAVILY CLEAN before spraying. You also want to spray every surface, including under beds and couches. If you don't do this, you aren't going to get all the fleas.

Fleas will still be seen for a while after using this product. It kills them, but new ones hatch, and then it takes awhile for the breeding cycle to get interrupted. Don't be dismayed.

OF COURSE you want to get your animals and people out of the house for a few hours until the smell settles. If you have birds, (which I do) leave them out of the house for 24 hours. (It was summer, so I used a safe place to put them outside).

You really need to spray the whole house at once. I wasn't able to do this, so had less effective control, but I could tell a big difference after a few weeks.
