First, the good. It's attractive and extraordinarily easy to assemble -which will make for easy cleaning, too. It's paintable and stainable so if you're ambitious you can have a dog house the matches your people house or stain it to match a deck or fence. You can also leave it as-is -which contrary to this photo, is a very pale, almost grayish-white color.

The bad -aside from it not being the expected shade (which I actually don't care about) the instructions call for a support beam beneath the flooring. It wasn't there. We had to shelve construction over the weekend until we could call customer service. That's when we learned that since this is the small size, there actually is no support beam. It's the same instructions for all sizes and they don't bother to note that the floor beam is only for medium and large. Not a huge problem, but kind of annoying.

I really like this little house. It was easy to put together and seems very sturdy. It seems like it will last quite a while.

I have a Sheltie and after about 6 years I finally discovered that if she had several beds around the house, the furry dust bunnies were fewer. It makes for some quite hairy beds, but it is at least all in one spot for cleaning. My dog loves to be wrapped in a blanket, so I figured this bed would be nice and cozy for her. I put it in our bedroom and it only took a day or two for her to go in it without suggestion. Now, she sleeps in it every night and doesn't seem to budge at all. She even goes back in it while I'm getting dressed or puttzing around the room. She obviously loves it.

The lining and bed are silky and soft. Yes, the "hoodie" does sag down, but that is OK. It seems to just make it cozier. We call it her "hoodie bed" and I'm really glad I got it. Matter of fact, I was just thinking about getting a second one for downstairs. She is getting older (10 years) and I think she'll enjoy this cozy bed during the day, as well.

this bed was delivered lightning quick which was nice. but when it got here the top section was smashed flat. it has a thin support wire or cardboard thing around the edge but it cant be reshaped. since it was smashed down the whole left side sags down right in and rests on the cushion. the right side stays up fairly well. the little cushion inside is okay if your pet doesnt scratch or dig around. if he does then the filling shifts around and wads up on one sidethough its easy to fluff back out.

having said all that, as a human id say the bed isnt what i wanted for my petwhich was a place for the cat to sleep at night out of the A/C or table top fan breezes. however, the thing is, from the very moment i took it from the box my dog adores this thing. my dachsund dove into it before i could get the tags off and stayed there til i chased him off to put it in the spot the cat sleeps. he never cared for dog beds before in the slightest but loves this.

so while i was not happy with the quality of this bed or the fact the cat hated it (he was much happier smashing the top part in ambushing the dog) i defer to fact the dog loved it. so, at least someone was happy!

Got this bed for our Beagle for cold nights. The bed is very cute and looks comfy, however, I like my dog beds to have removable covers for easy washing, but in this bed only the very inside pillow has one. So the sides and the top part would need to be washed whole. Also, I don't think the hooded part works that much for added heat, but some dogs may like it for a "den-like" feel.

Very impressed with this bed! Firstly, it shipped very fast I had it in 2 days, w/o additional shipping charges. Secondly, the material is super soft on the inside, the pillow is fluffy and removable, and the hood stands up perfectly. There is no issue with the wiring that holds up the hood on mine, it was packed well, did not get crushed in shipping, and stood right up out of the box. The zippers around the hood for removal should make it easy to clean. I got the tan color and it is really pretty including the design the picture doesn't do this product justice, it's much nicer looking in person. It's also really roomy and the hood doesn't negatively impact the interior space of the bed. I can't wait to see how my new "baby" likes it, but she won't be here until later this week. I'll update the review once the bed is in use.

UPDATE: My new little arrival, a 10lb little girl, loves this bed and has lots of room to spare while in it. She loves cuddling up along the back, under the hood, for long naps...she's in there as I am writing this. I hide little treats around the corners and under the pillow as a game for her to find them. Lots of fun for her, she works off a little energy, and it keeps her occupied from bothering the human stuff in the house. Occasionally she crawls all over the top, or tosses the whole thing around, but all I have to do is stand it up again and it's back to good as new. It also cleans up very nicely, she has a little seepage from her spay stitches (back to vet tomorrow to check on that) and it easily wiped clean with just baby wipes. I'll also try to add pics which I always find helpful from other customers!

After lots of research I decided to get this for my 9 week old miniature Schnauzer. It was delivered as promised and its so soft. My puppy loves it including the hood. Some times it does fall down but you can put a little blanket in there to keep it held up. My puppy thinks its fun and thats all that matters. It seems well made and it wasn't that expensive compared to others.

Update: Our puppy had an accident (number 2) and tracked it on her bed. We unzipped the hood and threw both into our front loader washer on the maximum setting. It was almost dry when it came out. Hung it on the clothes line and it looks better than new. The hood even stays up better. The wire from the hood did poke through and I just sowed it up. Our puppy love chewing on it so not sure if she was to blame or if it was from the extra spinning in the washer. Easy repair.

The shirts itself is so well made, but the day I ordered it I emailed the dealer and asked for a larger size, stating I was afraid I had ordered the wrong size and was told that they were sure it would be alright but that the larger size was a good one. but they would not change the order. But, even though the shirt "almost" fit, it was made very small across the chest with no stretch. so it was too small, otherwise it fit. When I wanted to return for another size, they said, no problem but there will be a 3.00 charge along with shipping. So I feel that was bad service. Because I emailed them the minute after I had placed the order. So they had plenty of time to size up

Have used this many times since I received it in mid-December 2012.

It is VERY bright, which is great. 3 modes...fast flash, slow flash, constant on.

The plastic clip appears very good quality...time will tell.

I had to take my bolt cutters to remove the metal loop ( I use 2 collars when walking ).

This metal loop when dangling, would hit against the round plastic on/off button, causing unit to shut off.

This button is very sensitive, will still shut off with the slightest touch, not a big deal.

Shipping was quite expensive for this product, didn't like that, was around 6 dollars.

This is by far one of the best lighted collars I've purchased. I walk my dogs in a rural area, and in the winter months I want to make sure that cars can easily see me and my crew. The lights are VERY bright. I find the strobe setting distracting, so I keep it on the "steady on" setting. The other evening I left the house the house without my small flashlight but the dogs' collars were enough for us to see by, saving me a trip back to the house. I find the sizes run a bit large so I order the next smaller size. The seller was prompt and I received my order quickly.

This crate works well for our needs. It's fairly light and it folds easily. Having doors on two sides as well as the top is a very nice feature. The only downside is that the plastic legs on the bottom tend to fall off easily.

This is a light yet sturdy crate. I really love that it has three doors so we could get at out chickens no matter which way they went or which way they knocked over their food or water :)

I am also excited that it folds up for storage when we don't have chicks or bunnies passing through.

A few years ago this stuff was mint for getting rid of fleas; today it's been watered down a bit and not as effective and yet the price hasn't reflected the dilution. That said, relative, it's still one of the best products on the market. Personally, I opt to giving all my animals a good haircut and putting a little light and sunshine on their skin for our summer months and opt to use Ovitrol (which stinks to high heaven so spray outside) but knocks fleas dead on the spot; however won't last more than a week. The beauty of thinning their coats is to use less insecticide and target where its needed most. I'm done wasting my time on home remedies and God knows whatever else folks say work...anything from dirt to lemons to garlic to farts...we own dogs and we depend on their "alarm" barks given where we live. If you've got the money get Frontline in tubes or in bulk and measure the dose out yourself; otherwise the bottle stuff I give a grade of B..buy the largest amount you can afford and shop around; prices are all over the place. Last year (2009), I paid $39.99 for 500ml; I've yet to find it that low anywhere and at Amazon I've found it as low as $43.99 and about $50 altogether with tax and S&H. Good luck and thanks!

This is the best flea spray that I have ever used. I have been using it for at least 7 years. It has got a little more expensive, I used to get it for about $40 for the 500ml bottle, now it is up to $50, but still well worth it. The protection is excellent, works very well. I had 2 big dogs, I would spray them lightly and wear rubber gloves to rub it in once every month, and the bottle would last a year, they never had fleas or bugs on them. These were inside dogs, but they would often go out into the back yead and lay on the grass or dirt for hours. I would also treat my backyeard with Tallstar Fine Granules (Bifinthrin .015%) every 2 months, except in the winter, to keep all bugs out of the back yard. I am now down to one dog, so the 500ml bottle should last me about 2 years. It is a good plan, I never have a problem with fleas, ticks or bugs.

I have a three and a half month old golden doodle. He LOVED these bones!! after giving him these bones for a few weeks.. the started vomiting. The package says that you shouldnt give to a "stong chewer" whatever that means.. or any dog over 6 months old. Also it says as long as the piece of bone they chew off is no larger then a grain of rice it will pass through. Well what i found is that there is no way of knowing how big the pieces are that the dog chews off. So thinking he actually COULDNT chew off bigger pieces of bone then a grain of rice, i let him go at it with the bone. Now that he has been throwing up for a straight 24 hours.. all that was left in him was the bone. He threw up a good HAND FULL of nylabone chunks. This has to be the worst puppy product i have ever used. I would not reccomend this product to anyone. My puppy is fine now that he has regurgitated the shards of "non toxic" plastic chewable bone..

my puppy only weighs about 18 pounds.. i would not consider this at all for any puppy over 10 lbs.

Please use caution with these products read and re read the back label.. it is very misleading and easy to miss understand.

I bought him this bone because a lot of web sites and research said nylabone was a good product for puppies...

i cant say that the DURA CHEW is bad becasue HE HATES THEM WONT EVEN TOUCH THEM AT ALL they come in the puppy pack with the flexichews in a three pack. they dog doesnt like this bone at all.

If i could talk to someone from nylabone to try to get them to change the label i would.

again.. as your puppy grows make sure you dont buy these... the label says not for strong chewers or puppys over six months.. mine is 3 months and it made him sick.

please you caution if you love your puppy like i do!!

The packaging warns to not give this to adult dogs or puppies with adult teeth, and that you need to replace it when pieces larger than a grain of rice break off.

Our puppy isn't even 4 months yet, so this "puppy teething bone" sounded like the perfect fit. No adult teeth. Before we even got home from the pet store, pieces larger than a grain of rice were breaking off from the ends.

Don't bother.

She always works on the same end, and holds the other knob between her paws like she has fingers. She is able to eventually work off a chunk about the size of a half peanut at the largest. Mostly the size of a grain of rice. That worries me WAY less than rawhide bones, which she would sometime gag on.

We bought the Large size it's far too small for our 70 lb Bernese Mountain Dog. Even with the strap extended to it's largest size, it's quite snug (it's a stretchy material). The hat itself also appears more like a paper party hat, due to its small size, than a santa hat.

Also, there are logos front and back on this hat a paw print on one side, and a brand logo on the other. They're embroidered, and large enough to detract from the appearance of the hat.

We are happy with the Outback Country Lodge! It was the best value we could find. It's up off the ground, cozy, all wood, attractive and good size. Assembly was easy as well. Give your dog time to get used to the house, our dog needed a cozy towel and a cold wind before she really curled up inside. Took all of 15 minutes for myself and daughter to put this dog house together. Nice and spacious. Product looks exactly like online photo if not better. Smell was not horribly strong and didn't notice it after the 1st day, just smelled like fresh wood. Need to keep your dog out of the rain, love the ideas of the elevated house with the legs.

Going by the name, Outback Country Lodge, and the look of it from the online pictures, you get the impression it's going to be a sturdy dog house. However, once you get it out of the box, it's kind of flimsy. I went ahead and put mine together, and I'm hoping for the best. I got the small one, and was able to pick up and move the dog house all by myself, with no trouble at all. I'm using it outside, so, I'm still hoping it holds up to normal weather conditions.

I purchase this lead because I was looking for a short, soft lead to take my dog out on city streets. This lead has the right length but it is nothing like my old, 6ft long leather leash. My old leash is soft, pliable and easy to hold and wrap around my hand whereas this feels more like stiff plastic Usually leather leashes become softer when soaked and then rolled up but not this one. It is very uncomfortable to hold for longer periods of time and it looks as if I'm holding my dog with a stick. The only reason why I don't give it 1 star is that it was cheap and I should have known better than to expect a quality leash for that price.
