Best Large Top Dog Spiked Pink Leather Dog Harness Deals
I bought this harness very skeptical about the quality. I was also scared it would be too bulky and harsh for my English Bulldog Cooper. The pink spiked harness was a compromise with my husband who has wanted to put her in spikes since she was a puppy. When I got home one afternoon my husband had already put the harness on Cooper and had her waiting for me wearing it. Not only did she look absolutely beautiful, but the harness was sturdy. We have great control of her on her walks, and the harness fits her perfectly. It straps on her mid section, away from her under arms avoiding friction to her skin. The leather quality, stitching, and application of spikes are durable and great quality. As if she wasn't spoiled enough, she now walks down the pet store looking like a supermodel getting everyone's attention. :)This harness fits nicely and a large fits perfect on my big pit bull. Dog loves it and it makes her look ruff even though she is just a sweetie-pie that would only lick people to death.

Midwest Life Stages Single-Door Folding Metal Dog Crate Review
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $59.99
Sale Price: $33.88

I am very pleased with this crate. It erected easily within moments, is extremely sturdy and big enough for all but, possibly, the giant breeds. My Rottweiler can lie down stretched out, if that is her preference, and can stand up without hunching over. She loves this crate far better than her plastic airline type crate as she has better visibility and I believe that she feels less confined. It is also much cooler in the heat of the summer than the plastic crate.
The only caveat that I would add is, if your pooch is an escape artist, you might want to put an additional clip or two on the door. The fasteners are fine for most dogs but I know my Border Collie would figure a way to open that door in no time flat. This is not a major criticism, by any means---I heartily recommend this crate. Also, the price is good when you consider the free shipping. I've seen this item listed for much less money but by the time you add the shipping (this crate is heavy!), you will pay the same or more. Also, it arrived in about a week so no complaints there.
Not only did JB Wholesale Pet Supplies, send a replacement pan right out in the mail, but they actually called me on the phone and apologized for any inconvenience, talked with me about puppy training, and wished us well with our new puppy.
The crate training is working well, the Lab is safe and our socks get respite! The Life stages divider is really a good idea. I would certainly do business with J. B. Wholesale Pet Supplies again what a great company!
Midwestpetproducts.com website states the following:
"Midwest provides the perfect home for every breed and temperament.
Light Duty: For new puppies that will be crate trained from the start and for breeds with a mild temperament.
Medium Duty: for older puppies and breeds with an average temperament.
Heavy Duty: for adult dogs that have never been crate trained and for active breeds."
Wish they identified the duty rating clearly with their different product lines.
I purchased a size he can grow into when he is older because even as an adult my dogs use a crate for a peaceful area of rest and safety. Most crates now days do come with a divider and the one that comes with this crate works well but it will take a minute or two of wrestling with it to put it in place. Although this crate is a larger size is was very simple and quick to set up and is plenty sturdy. The door opens, closes and locks smoothly. The tray in the bottom is easily removed if needed and the crate doesn't rattle or shake. It is not a crate you would want to pack on a trip due to the weight and size unless you had a BIG motor home but for home use it is perfect. The dog bed that Midwest offers for this crate is a good option and seems sturdy enough for the money (we have washed in three times in a few weeks with no wear and tear).
I would just like to close this review by reminding anyone that is considering crate training to PLEASE do it! Your dog will be happier, you will house break him/her quicker and you will be able to control the time you have to watch your best friend so they don't get into anything harmful that could cause serious injury.

This is a nice dog crate. It folds up easily to transport. It includes a divider, so that one can adjust the size of the crate as the puppy grows. The divider is a bit of a pain to install and adjust, but it works well. The crate also has a pull out tray at the bottom. The tray is easy to remove for cleaning. The crate also has some removable handles. They work well when the crate is set up and you want to move it across the room, but I haven't found a good way to attach the handles when the crate is folded up. Overall, I am happy with the purchase, and delivery was very fast.Best Deals for Midwest Life Stages Single-Door Folding Metal Dog Crate
On December 5, I bought a 36/24/27, single door, dog crate to prepare for our lab puppy to be picked up on Christmas Eve. Do to unfortunate circumstances, our puppy came home on December 8th! Midwest's crates come in three "duty" ratings, light, medium, and heavy which correspond to their iCrate, Life Stages, and Ultima Pro lines respectively. The higher duty rating comes from heavier wire being used in the same sized crate.Midwestpetproducts.com website states the following:

I looked at several brands and types of crates for my soon to arrive Doberman puppy before deciding on this one. I was considering a soft crate as an option but after I spoke with a few people who had their puppy chew right through them I decided that would be a bad choice. I couldn't see a reason to have multiple doors so I decided the single door Midwest seemed like the best solution for me.I purchased a size he can grow into when he is older because even as an adult my dogs use a crate for a peaceful area of rest and safety. Discount HomeoPet Storm Stress for Dogs
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $36.30
Sale Price: $9.29

I have a 160 lb bullmastiff who goes crazy with fear from thunder and lightening. If the storm occurs at night, I have to stay up with her and miss a lot of sleep. If during the day, I fear leaving her at home with the other dogs as she gets so worked up she tears into things. Vet gave me Valium for her but this works much more quickly and effectively. I'm afraid to be out of "Storm Stress".
With the Storm Stress, Spot shows worry, but doesn't freak out.

I have a 60 pound Golden Retriever who is terrified of thunder. I purchased this product on the advice of my vet, and it really does work very well and calms her down substanially. However, the medicine comes in a dropper and the instructions say to give multiple drops (like 10 or so) per 10 pounds of weight, per hour until the dog calms down. In my case, this takes nearly the entire bottle for each thunderstorm it's just not worth it. You can go to the pet store and buy the same thing in pill form and only need 2-3 pills per storm and it does the same thing. It might be great for small dogs, but for big dogs, just go get the pills and save yourself some time/money.Best Deals for HomeoPet Storm Stress for Dogs

Best Bike Tow Leash - Yellow Deals
I compared online reviews videos and literature of the Walky dog, the springer, and the sunlite dog bike attachments, along with the Bike Tow Leash and ended up choosing the Bike Tow Leash. I have a woman's bike with a low seat and therefore I didn't like the walky dog or the springer because they would not fit below my bike seat, and the shaft of the walky dog interfered with pedaling on some bike models. I liked the bike tow leash because it kept the dog away from the bike so that a herding breed would not be prone to try and bite/herd the back tire, as well as preventing the dog from swiveling from one side of the bike to another, unlike the sunlite, which might get a dog tangled in the spokes/tire/chain. Also, the ease of which the BTL (Bike Tow Leash) is attached to the bike is a real strong point for me because no tools were needed, and finger tightening was the only torsion needed to secure it. The fact that I could easily monitor my dog's condition because of her position next to the bike was the clincher.
I literally ripped the thing out of the box, slapped it on my bike, snapped the lead on my dog and jumped on the bike. My dog has never been led off a bike and we were whizzing around the neighborhood. I couldn't even feel it when she and a dog on the other side of the fence has a race/barking/jumping match. And I am not a very good biker, having not been on a bike in a decade. Yes, this was a foolhardy experiment.
The only downside is the price. My bike cost less than the BTL! You could buy almost 5 Walky Dogs (that Amazon price right now is amazing) for one BTL. I am considering getting a walkydog for my boyfriends bike because of this, since his seat is high enough to accommodate the walkydog
With much trepidation due to cost we decided to try the BTL. The BTL is AWESOME !!! The BTL did not require any adjustments to our bike and Sophie quickly adapted to using it without any problems. The BTL keeps Sophie where we want her without any stress on either Sophie or us. I was a little hesitant about how well the BTL would perform with an excited Sophie chasing after a bunny or squirrel but it has passed the test with flying colors. Neither human nor animal was injured in any way, shape or form.
Biking with a leash in your hand is a risky proposition with any dog, and with a hyperactive semi-feral sled dog it's even moreso. I bought this device along with the cheaper "Let's Go" walker so I could give both a try. As other reviews have stated, you really can't even feel the slightest pull the design (by a former aviation engineer) is incredibly resilient and works exactly as described. If you attach a proper harness, and your dog likes to pull (and mine do), you'll be coasting easy while the Bike Tow Leash is resistant to jerking, steady pulling propels the bike forward, something the other spring and bungie-type bike leashes can't do, which is great for mushing training, if you combine your rides with a lot of verbal encouragement and commands "gee", "haw", "kiyaa", "whoa", etc.
I really would like to pick a second one of these up, but as the review title states, the BTL is a LOT of cash, nearly 2-3 times as much as most bike leashes. So in keeping with the rating, I absolutely love the product, but I can't give it a full 5 stars based on value for money. Hopefully once these get some more reviews and positive feedback, the vendor will drop the price to around $100 or less, which seems about right.
I researched and read the review of all of the current bike leashes for dogs, and decided to go with the Bike Tow Leash. Very simple to install it took less than a minute. Max (the dog!) had no problem with it from the get-go. In fact, it is easier to bike with him than walk him on a leash, as there is no pulling with the Bike Tow Leash and he easily follows my lead.
It does cost a bit more than the others, but it is totally worth it. It is a quality product, which I believe will last for years. I am so glad I found this product!
It's a bit expensive but worth it.

We originally purchased the Walky Dog leash but promptly returned it. The Walky Dog allowed our dog, Sophie, to essentially bump into the front tire of our bike almost causing an accident. This probably could have been rectified with more training for Sophie but the Walky Dog also required us to raise our seat to a height we were not comfortable with and so ultimately decided it was not the model for our family. With much trepidation due to cost we decided to try the BTL. I recently adopted two Husky rescues that came from pretty rough circumstances. With this breed, keeping them active and giving them purpose in life goes a long way to helping them get assimilated. A tired dog is a well-behaved dog, as many a trainer will tell you.Biking with a leash in your hand is a risky proposition with any dog, and with a hyperactive semi-feral sled dog it's even moreso. Honest reviews on Bike Tow Leash - Yellow
I inherited my border collie mix grandpuppy from my son. He needs a ton of exercise, so biking is perfect for him (us!). I was using a leash, but that gets a bit dicey at times because if we met another dog along the trail and the dog would lunge at him barking, he would jerk me and the bike. With this product, there are no worries about him jerking, pulling me over, him running in front of the bike, or getting caught in the wheels or gears.I researched and read the review of all of the current bike leashes for dogs, and decided to go with the Bike Tow Leash. I have a husky retriever mix who loves to run. The Bike Tow Leash works great, it is much safer and easier to control my 80lb dog than riding holding a leash. I have no problem controlling my dog when we ride past other dogs walking or even seeing deer and other animals close by.It's a bit expensive but worth it.

Discount Soft Touch ShowOff Jacquard Pet Napper
This isn't a bad dog bed if you're looking for a polyfill bed. But the description that it's orthopedic is misleading. There is no foam in this bed at all. It's a polyfill bed, similar to the feel of a polyfill pillow, and is not orthopedic from what I can tell. I had to return the product. I thought this was a great deal on an orthopedic bed but I was wrong. Since it's polyfill, you can get a bigger bed with pretty much the same filling for about $10 less at Costco.

Cheap Puppy Potty Trainer Indoor Grass Training Patch - 3 Layers This Mat
SELLER IS GREAT PRODUCT NOT SO GREAT. ALL MY PUPPY DID WITH SIT ON IT AND CHEW THE GRASS...I EVEN BOUGHT THE SPRAY NOTHING WORKED.This particular product isn't really worth the money, the base is fine (if not terribly well put together) but the "grass" is really cheap and terrible. It started to fall apart immediately and really wouldn't hold up to the kind of washing these products require. I really wouldn't recommend this.

My dog Wolfie, an intelligent Australian Shepherd/Lab mix, craves stimulation and loves his squeaky toys. This toy provides the perfect mix of playtime fun and thought, as he has to work somewhat hard to remove the tiny puppies from the doghouse. It only took him a few minutes to understand how the toy works, and now he's been carrying it around with him everywhere he goes for the past few days. The only downside is that he still hasn't figured out how to put the puppies back in! :-)

We bought this for my dogs as one of their Christmas presents. My dogs are pretty good chewers but I expected it to last a little longer than it did. The puppies were desqueaked and chewed within minutes of giving them to my dogs. The house is still hanging around but is getting smaller by the day as they are chewing that now. I think this would be great if your dogs aren't heavy chewers but if they are I wouldn't bother wasting your money.Sunday, January 19, 2014

This small, sturdy bed came incredibly fast and my dog LOVES it! It is incredibly soft and thick for optimal puppy comfort. I like that the colors are neutral so it doesn't stand out too much. Also, the pad comes out of the bed for easy cleaning and it has held up in the washing machine without getting lumpy. I LOVE it.
EDIT: So my dog used this as a bed for about 2 months and a couple road trips, but then suddenly he decided that he prefers it as his toy. Since the pillow is removable, he is constantly removing it and trying to wrestle and chew it up. Not what I had hoped for! I'm always having to keep the bed out of his reach now and only use it on road trips when he needs a place to lie down in the car. So next time I'll be sure to buy a bed that doesn't have a removable pillow! Still love this bed, though.

After nearly a year of constant use the beds were pretty mangy so I did decide to wash two of the beds in my washer ....they're fine! Washed them on delicate cycle, with extra high water level and minimal soap ( I was afraid it might not wash out well).....tossed them in the dryer with a couple of tennis balls...took them out when almost dry and left them in the sun for the day to finish; they look nearly like new! I had washed the cushions before with the same results...looks just fine.
We put together the largest, plushest "cat tree" eight months ago. He climbed it ONE time---to look into the side of our 400-gallon marine aquarium at the large fish. He soon lost interest in the fish and has never climbed the treehouse again. I buy the most expensive toys (flashing track balls, squeeking mice, tunnels etc. etc.). The cat does not discriminate. He ignores them all and my wife keeps telling me "I told you so."
I bought this bed. The cat ignored it completely for three weeks and my wife repeated her usual taunts. The cat had his own private back bedroom where he sleeps between the soft pillows on the bed. But after three weeks the cat tried this bed and he's been hooked on it ever since. He ignores his private room and comes straight to this bed every night for many weeks. This is the only thing I've ever bought him that he has approved of and actually uses for the long term (so far). One note: the cat started using the bed when my wife pulled back the sliding closet door in the corner and put the bed inside---with the door slightly ajar. Possibly he was hooked by the combination of the bed's comfort and his feeling that he was inside of his private cubby hole.

Over the past few months I have purchased three of these beds for our cats. The are very soft warm and I have washed the cushion ( by hand) with no problem. I was surprised at how much the cats like these......usually cats are unimpressed by anything intended for cats ( when there is a nice soft WHITE sofa to sit on, who wants to sleep in a pet bed?) but they all hopped right in and curled up. Getting one for each avoided arguments.... and they DID argue about who got the bed! Great item.Added 2/11/13

I got the 20-inch diameter pet bed in mocha beige color for my 15 pounds cat. It is a good size and cozy bed, cat loves to curl up and sleep in it during the night. However, the material is such that it gets dirty quickly. All the cat fur firmly attached to the fabric and I can't get them off with either vacuum or lint roller. I can't put it into the washer either, because the cover is not removable, and all the cat fur would certainly jam up the machine. After 6 months of use, I threw it out and got a new one with the option of a removable and washable cover.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Armarkat Round or Oval Shape Pet Cat Bed for Cats and Small Dogs
