I bought this item as soon as it was released. I work long hours and while my two cats usually keep each other entertained, I wanted something that they could play with without needing my interaction.

My cats took a few minutes to warm up to it, but once they realized what it was, they would sit and watch the mouse, paw at it, etc..

There is a timer that you can set so that when you are at work, the toy alerts the cats to come and play by giving off a bird chirping sound!

I used to set it to go on every hour.

One tipyou may have to give the kitties a break from this every couple of days. Once they get used to the toy, they get bored with it.

I turn it on now every 2-3 days.

I think the manufacturer should create one with a longer track for the mouse to travel on.. Overall I think its a good item.

We've had the Mouse in the House toy for just about a month now, and our cat still sits rapt for long stretches, waiting for the mouse to come out again. She hasn't learned to deliberately activate it by herself yet, but recently she's done it accidentally several times, and it seems likely that she'll put two and two together soon and learn to press the big red button on purpose. The mouse is remarkably durable, withstanding fierce pounces, being held back and prevented from escaping, and being dragged out of its hole by force. This is her favorite toy by a mile.

I have two 5 month old kittens who absolutely love this little gadget, however after only two short days the mouse would no longer stay on the track. There's a door you can open in the back to re-attach the mouse, however having to do this 4x a day isn't convenient. The motor is loud, the electronics get messed up and you have to switch the unit off and on to get it to work. Needs improvement and price is too high. Customer Service is excellent and very helpful.

I bought this toy earlier in the month for my indoor-only cat. My cat loved playing with it the first week, although she never went crazy with it like other cats did as seen on the web videos. Two weeks later, the motor got extremely loud and high pitched whenever the mouse would make its run on the track. I checked the mouse and the track and found nothing abnormal or broken. The motor noise has gotten so bad now, my cat refuses to go near the toy when it is on.

Unless your cat is immune to loud noises, I cannot really recommend this toy to fellow cat lovers unless the company comes out with a better, less noisy and more durable motor (especially at this purchase price).

My cat ADORES this toy. As soon as the mouse chirps, she appears and hovers over the house. She'll plant herself on the tracks to block the mouse and will drag the house all over, hoping to get that wily mouse when it disappears.

When it broke after a year of heavy use, I had to buy a replacement because my cat was heartbroken without it.

This is a nice toy to have for automation. I wish there was a way to set track repetitions or time. Often, my cat likes to play with it for four-five rounds and the timer setting will only send the mouse around twice.

Expensive? Yes. But it's durable and gets much use, so I think it's worth the price.

I've only used the leash once myself but my girlfriend has used it several times with her 70lb German Shepard pup at the beach. With all that sand and salt water, the leash has held up great. I was worried about the clip because dirt and clips don't mix, but with a quick rinse it works perfectly fine, not to say it doesn't work with the sand, because it does. This is a good lead if you are walking around a grassy area, roadside, etc. I've used this lead in a wooded area, and it tangles frequently. In fact, one spot on the lead is a few threads short of tearing completely. The looped handle has also had most of its threads come loose. This company 'guarantees for life' this product, yet I cannot find a way to contact them to relay my problem. I will purchase my next lead elsewhere.

A new leash to add to the collection! Teaches my siberian husky to stay close if off leash. I just stroll through parks and fields and my dog will have the freedom to do as he pleases. Instinctively once the leash extends approx. 20 ft. long he'll run to catch up to me as i keep a walking pace.

The leash does get a bit dirty after a walk, i typically just throw it into an undergarment bag washer.

On the bottom of the bed it is just a thin layer of the fuzzy material, no padding what so ever. It is really soft and plush but for $25 I expected it to be more comfortable for my dog.

I am also writing this in support of a stronger rating for this product. I have a large one for my potbellied pig's "pigloo", along with the thermostat, and it works beautifully. I really tried to see how someone could think that they were getting an igloo, which is solid, bulky to ship and usually costs around $100, along with the heated dog bed for that price but I just couldn't get there.

We live in a world where people make decisions and snap judgments on a sound bite or a single photo without bothering to read any further. Did they also think the igloo was invisible or transparent? Did they think the dog came with it, too?

Why is it Amazon's or the vendor's fault that they didn't get down to the "product details" where it has the dimensions and the weight?

Sigh. Accept responsibility for your actions and move on. This is a very good product.

Ok so I have not yet bought this but it came recommended by a friend. The reason for my review is that it is not hard to read the description and see that is is JUST THE BED. I don't think it is fair to post a bad reviews on this product when it's the people NOT READING THE DESCRIPTION of the products fault they didn't get what they wanted. My friend say that this bed is wonderful and there is no reason for it to have only 2 stars because people are pissed off that they weren't smart enough to read. We have a Golden who inhales his food. In fact, he has an amazing resemblance to my Shop-Vac when he's eating.

This has slowed him somewhat, but it's certainly not a relaxing dinner over a glass of wine. It's probably a 50% improvement from a 30 second affair out to maybe 45 seconds.

We also tried one of the bowls with the built-in obstructions. He pushed it all over the room trying to get to his food. Then he picked it up and dumped it out.

At least he hasn't tried to eat the ball. Yet...

I have been using this product for about 6 months for my 80 lb dog. He used to gulp his food down so fast he would throw up after almost every feeding. We had experienced choking, vomiting, and belching before we tried the large stainless steel Portion Pacer. Since we have been using it our dog Boomer eats much slower and does not vomit after eating. We lost Boomers sister to GDV (Bloat) a year and a half ago and we were really concerned that the same thing would happen to him. Unfortunately the bowls designed to slow dogs down didn't work for him as he has a pushed in face and couldn't eat around the pegs in the bowl. This product has been a life saver for our dog. He has never tried to take it out of the bowl and he eats around it without a problem. I would recommend this to anyone whose dog eats too fast. Big Bonus, dishwasher safe!!

Bought it and used it once for my fast eating Basset Hound. It worked reasonably well. Then my slower eating Basset Hound picked it up out of the bowl and carried it about 10 feet before dropping it on the tile floor where it shattered immediately. It's a heavy ball but unless you have very small dogs that can't pick it up I would avoid this one. Opt for the stainless steel model or for an obstacle that's built into the bowl.

I have bought a ton of stuff off of Amazon and sadly have never written a review on anything. Not today, this item impressed me so much that I am doing it right now! I have read some of the other reviews and to the ones that say it doesn't really work, they are clueless and don't know how to use this item. First off, you have to figure out the correct size you need based on what kind of bowls you use at home. I bought the small balls which are about the size of a tennis ball and they take up MOST of the room in my Chihuahua's dog bowls. You can't put this ball in the middle of a gigantic dog bowl and then complain it isn't really effective. They need to work for the food to slow down the eating, in my situation they have just enough room around the ball and bowl to fit their snout and lick up some food. This item tripled my dog's eating time if not more! Buy this product but figure out what size ball and bowl combination works best for you. I have been ordering pet food in bulk to save money, which is great, but leaves me with the issue of finding air-tight storage for large quantities of food.

I chose to order the 8 gallon size of this product to "test it out" and determine whether or not I wanted to invest in a larger size.

I am currently using it to hold guinea pig pelleted food, which must be kept air-tight and out of the light (to prevent vitamin C from degrading).

So far, the vittles vault has worked great. The lid design allows you to spin ti open / closed instead of having to pry off a typical food storage bucket lid.

I have enjoyed using it and will probably invest in a larger model at some point in the future.

My dog was driving me crazy barking at people he even knew everytime they came home at my house, other people's houses etc.

I tried yelling at him, spanking him and nothing worked.

When I put this collar on him he barked once and was sprayed by it and he did not bark twice.

For a week I had it on him and he would bark once and then stop.

He eventually stopped barking and would just growl at them lightly.

I took it off him for 2 days and he figured out he could bark more than once but it was not nearly as bad!

It is back on him again and working very well and I will continue to wean him off of it.

The citronella smell is not enough to really smell it away from the dog.

It is very easy to use and extemely helpful!

My three chihuahuas (4 lbs, 8 lbs, 9.5 lbs) love these little treats. The treats are small so that they are easy on their little mouths and teeth and they are small enough not to contain way more calories that I want them to have (have to keep them trim and healthy). They are also lightly crispy rather than hard and crunchy (many chihuahuas have dental problems), so I don't have to worry about gum or tooth damage or pain. From the response that I get whenever my chihuahuas just see the package in my hand and the way they dance around until they get their treat, I have no doubts about how much they enjoy these little crispy treats.

I first purchased Buddy Bones (a bigger treat but same recipe) from my local Pet Supplies store and broke them into smaller pieces because they were larger treats and my little dogs had some trouble chewing them. Pet Supplies quit carrying these treats so after checking Petsmart and Petco, I was getting a little discouraged. Then I had the (its seems to most non dog lovers I'm sure) thought to try on Amazon and here they are. Not only did I find the treats my dogs love, but I found a much smaller version and I do not have to break them up into smaller pieces. Now when it's treat time, my three little dogs don't look at me with disappointment any more.

Until recently I was purchasing these snacks at my local Pet Supermarket. They no longer carry them so I went to Amazon.com. The reason they are perfect for my two dogs ( a Lab and a Chow mix) is not the size obviously but because I have a dog toy that is one of those toys that you pull out the center and fill the different layers inside with treats. After putting the center piece back in you shake it around and the dog has to learn to push it with his nose or paws to get the treats to lay just right to fall out. Well my Lab learned in one day and just loves this toy. The ONLY treats that I have found that fit are this brand and he loves all the flavors but especially the cheese flavor and the yogurt brand. There are quite a lot in one bag and reasonably priced. Yes, I will buy more!

First Impression: The friendly folks over at "Exclusively Dog" heard about my website and sent me 5 of their products to test.

Let me just start off by saying that I Love how sweet all of these treats taste. Dad was/is considering trying one because they look and smell so much like human cookies. Plus the ingredients are very straight forward, they are probably healthier than most the stuff Mom eats... But there in lies the problem. Dad thinks that they are too sweet for a puppy of any age. The second ingredient in almost all of them is sugar. As we all know puppies have a hard time processing sugar, and just like humans can develop diabetes.

Conclusion: Your puppy is nearly guaranteed to LOVE the taste. However these should only be used as an occasional treat! If you were to feed your puppies these sugary sweet morsels every day, they would soon plump up. If you puppy is already overweight or does not exercise regularly, you may want to think twice. On the PRO side they are all natural, with no animal bi-products! 3 out of 4 paws, because Dad made me! If we were judging on taste alone they would be a 4.

The only thing good to say about these is they are a nice size to clean both ears of your dog. Other than that they dry out way too easily (even with the cap on) and the biggest issue is that the perforations between the sheets are so bad you will need scissors to cut the sheets apart.

I purchase this lead because I was looking for a short, soft lead to take my dog out on city streets. This lead has the right length but it is nothing like my old, 6ft long leather leash. My old leash is soft, pliable and easy to hold and wrap around my hand whereas this feels more like stiff plastic Usually leather leashes become softer when soaked and then rolled up but not this one. It is very uncomfortable to hold for longer periods of time and it looks as if I'm holding my dog with a stick. The only reason why I don't give it 1 star is that it was cheap and I should have known better than to expect a quality leash for that price.

I bought this crate for shipping my 70lb Malamute/Shepherd from Seattle to Hawaii. It worked perfectly, got him to me safe and sound, and turns out to be a great on-the-go carrier as well.

In researching carriers I decided to go with a bigger than necessary carrier as my dog is fluffy and tall. This way he would pass muster at the airport. The carrier was delivered timely and without a problem. It was even easily assembled by my not quite mechanically inclined father. The carrier is solidly molded plastic with metal screws and plastic nuts that hold the two halves together. There are two screws at the door (one on each side), three along each side, and two in the back. The screws also have a square neck at their base allowing them to 'lock' into the bottom half of the carrier and not unscrew themselves in transit. There are full panels of large vents on all three sides (*back included*) on the top half of the carrier. I went with this style mainly because my dog is a bit of an escape artist and I read reviews of the other 'set-in' wire vents being popped out. It is also one of the few large carriers that has venting in the back to be IATA compliant. The door is a simple squeeze type lock, that rotates on a single stationary rod. The metal rods protrude into small molded cavities for each contact point (not just a hole) making it nice and secure. There are also pre-drilled zip-tie holes to even more securely lock the door. They even got these right putting one hole on each side at the top corners of the door, one on each side on the bottom corners of the door, and one on each side in the middle of the door sides and staggered it so one side zips to the top half of the carrier, and the other zips to the bottom half. They also have pre-drilled airplane tie down holes in the corners of the lip where two halves meet. The bottom of the carrier has a raised center area creating an approximately 2 inch border "moat" around the outer edge of the crate bottom that helps pool any fluids away from the dog should they be unable to control themselves on the scary flight. It does not come with a carry handle on the top of the carrier (it's too heavy to carry like that) but does have built in carry grips on the sides of the carrier. The camouflage color is actually subtle and not obnoxious at all. The bottom half is solid dark green. I am very pleased with the carrier and definitely recommend it for your pet transport needs.

Oh, the only down side. For travel purposes it does not come with food/water bowls, or required 'live animal' stickers. But those are easily found here on Amazon, or at your local pet store.

When our kitty took ill,she urinated on the carpet. By the time We discovered it, the carpet was well soaked in pee. I actually bought it by the gallon. I poured the Urine off on the carpet, to the point of over saturating the carpet to pentrate the padding onto the subfloor. Let it dry on its own. You may have to repeat the process, depending on the amount of contamination, but Urine off works. You do not want to attempt to shamppoo or use any type of detergent on the the carpet before applying Urine off.This product saved us from replacing the carpet.

I didn't find this to be anything special. It helps take the edge off the smell of cat urine but I found that using a wet vac with the cleaner that came with it works better for me.

No matter what cat urine is a smelly problem. This spray seems to kill most of the urine smell. It's still a little too "perfumey" for my taste but better than what I've found so far (i.e. the typical carpet cleaners).
