I am also writing this in support of a stronger rating for this product. I have a large one for my potbellied pig's "pigloo", along with the thermostat, and it works beautifully. I really tried to see how someone could think that they were getting an igloo, which is solid, bulky to ship and usually costs around $100, along with the heated dog bed for that price but I just couldn't get there.

We live in a world where people make decisions and snap judgments on a sound bite or a single photo without bothering to read any further. Did they also think the igloo was invisible or transparent? Did they think the dog came with it, too?

Why is it Amazon's or the vendor's fault that they didn't get down to the "product details" where it has the dimensions and the weight?

Sigh. Accept responsibility for your actions and move on. This is a very good product.

We got this product for a foster dog that very much prefers to be outdoors but we wanted to be sure he was warm and snug when temperatures drop. Ok so I have not yet bought this but it came recommended by a friend. The reason for my review is that it is not hard to read the description and see that is is JUST THE BED. I don't think it is fair to post a bad reviews on this product when it's the people NOT READING THE DESCRIPTION of the products fault they didn't get what they wanted. My friend say that this bed is wonderful and there is no reason for it to have only 2 stars because people are pissed off that they weren't smart enough to read. If you don't have something to say about the product don't say anything at all. There is nothing confusing about the description or title so don't be fooled by the crappy reviews!
