Setting this up was easy-peasy. It took all of 45 seconds my first time (the manufacturer claims 30 seconds, but I'm sure with some practice, I could easily beat that). It's easy to carry in it's collapsed form--nothing you'd take on a ten mile hike, but carrying it from a parking lot to your destination is a breeze.

It's roomy and comfortable--your Fido will not mind spending time in here. I crawled into it myself, and as a full grown man, I was able to turn around very easily.

It's a basic dog crate, with tray. Good value for the money for our use. Read the sizes very carefully as this is a LARGE crate suitable for very large dogs (like Saints), and it may not readily fit just anywhere in your home as a result. After use, I find I could have gone with a size smaller for my largish Samoyed, and he'd still have plenty of room, but I decided to keep it anyway. The crate collapses easily enough for transportation and storage, and has a carry handle. This crate would be more versatile, if it had a side door, but it is advertised as having only one door, so that's not a defect. The tray is fairly light-weight plastic, so it's too early to tell how well it will stand up to a large dog or one prone to chewing.

This item was better than I thought from the pictures, as I will only need it for a couple of months and thrown away. Once I opened the box the finish and quality made take a second look and it made itself a keeper, eventhough I don't own a dog, but my daughtesr will be bringing hers every now and then.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this on Amazon. I had seen these in high-end retailers for $150 and more, plus shipping. On Amazon, it's even set up as Prime!

As for the gate itself, it's perfect. We have a 12" high, 13 lb. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and the height is perfect for us. It's high enough to keep her in, and low enough to let us walk over it without a problem. The wood matches our house(a coincidence for us perhaps), but it's nicely put together and the wood is very high-end looking. The freestanding part of it works very well -it's very secure and solid.

This gate is attractive, easy to assemble, very portable and would be perfect if my puppy weren't quite so athletic. At 7 pounds, my "pocket puggle" figured out how to jump over this gate within 3 days. I would still recommend it for anyone with old dogs or smaller dogs than mine. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find one that is just a few inches taller.

These gates are great for keeping our dogs out of the rooms we don't want them in. The gates are attractive and can be easily set up to fit in the doorway or outside of the doorway so one can still open and close the door. They have a handsome furniture finish consequently their appearance is much more pleasing to look at as compared to the typical wire or plastic gates available. They don't leave marks on the door frames as they simply set in place. Also, I price compared and this is the lowest price I could find for both the small and the large gates.

Coincidentally, the gates are an added safety feature when our toddler grandson spends time with us.

I bought 2 large gates and 1 small one..... best investment I ever made. The gates are beautiful.....and keeps my dog from going everywhere. The dog house arrived only 2 days after I placed the order with 3-5 day shipping. It was very easy to assemble, basically just screwing the walls and roof together. My only complaint is the dimensions are a bit small. The medium size entrance is almost the same size as the small size entrance. I should have looked at this before I placed the order. When compared to other medium sized dog houses, this one is smaller. I would recommend getting a size larger than what you normally would have purchased when buying a different brand. Measure your dog and look at the dimensions before making this purchase.

I loved this beach themed dog house as soon as I saw it, as we all are beach bums at heart this was the perfect pick for our pupp. The reason I can only give it 4 stars is that the chimony (because of it's angle) and the somewhat "prisonish" looking bars in the window look a bit odd, and my husband had to do some drilling before assembly as there was quiet a few pre drilled holes missing. BUT after we got it finished and out in the yard (we just left the chimony off) and put a piece of left over carpet in there, our dog loved it. I would highly recommend to put something on the floor as there are a few gaps that might make some dogs not want to lay down in it. By now it has gone thru fall and winter with rain, hail, snow and sub zero temps and I must say it still looks as good as on day one. The adjustable feet are a great feature for evening out uneven grounds as well. All in all it's a great dog house.

The Beach Dog House is cute and the large I ordered is sufficient for my dog. The quality is lacking in a few respects: the roof paint is very thin...almost seems to be brown and white streaks. We had to repaint it. There are a couple of places where the edges dont quite meet ( eg around the door frame). The window consists of metal poles, looking very much like jail bars. I can't review the chimney, as it was completely smashed on arrival . I am having a handy man make a new one from scratch.

Cute little dog house, but don't expect amazing quality. Some of the wood was cracked, and the top roof panel was broken. It's the last step of building the house, what am I going to do? Return it? I just screwed it on and moved on. The little chimney is decoration only, so I just threw it out. Looks pretty stupid. All in all, it was very easy to put together with a power screwdriver. Took me 10 minutes and it was done. It has a little window, and it's not 100% air-tight, or even remotely weather-proof. So if you live in a rainy area, you may want to pass on this one. I live in a hot, sunny location so it works for me.

I am also writing this in support of a stronger rating for this product. I have a large one for my potbellied pig's "pigloo", along with the thermostat, and it works beautifully. I really tried to see how someone could think that they were getting an igloo, which is solid, bulky to ship and usually costs around $100, along with the heated dog bed for that price but I just couldn't get there.

We live in a world where people make decisions and snap judgments on a sound bite or a single photo without bothering to read any further. Did they also think the igloo was invisible or transparent? Did they think the dog came with it, too?

Why is it Amazon's or the vendor's fault that they didn't get down to the "product details" where it has the dimensions and the weight?

Sigh. Accept responsibility for your actions and move on. This is a very good product.

Ok so I have not yet bought this but it came recommended by a friend. The reason for my review is that it is not hard to read the description and see that is is JUST THE BED. My friend say that this bed is wonderful and there is no reason for it to have only 2 stars because people are pissed off that they weren't smart enough to read. Purchased this for my golden retreiver who has a nice snug custom dog house. I plugged it inside the house before taking it and property plugging it into the ground fault. Inside the house it took almost 30 minutes to get barely warm, this would not work as an indoor heater, much less outside. The product clearly states it is best used in temps 20 degrees and below, there is no way this would even slightly warm my animal. It will be returned and I am back to square one for a good heater.

I have been very impressed with this heater. It is hard so my bigger dogs haven't been able to destroy it. I have used it out in a dog house and in a garage for pups. It is obviously warm to the touch much more noticeable than other heating mats I have tried.

We saw the Cool a Roo at a local pet store being used by some dogs. They seemed SO comfortable. We went home and found it at Amazon.com. Our beloved Boxer Deuce was diagnosed with terminal cancer the day after I ordered it. He was uncomfortable and not resting. The CoolaRoo came in and i set it up for him. My 120 lb. lab has used this bed during his outside time every day for over two years. I am replacing it now because he has managed to wear a small hole into the center of the material. No bother, I am more than happy to spend another $25.00 for a replacement, I spend much more for his indoor beds that hardly last a year. No complaints about the structural sturdiness either, we haven't had any problems at all. He can lie comfortably, with a bit of room left over if he wants to really stretch out, although his feet tend to dangle over the sides a bit when he does. We live in a hot climate and my dog would rather lie on this bed than any other shady spot of the yard. One of my favorite things about this bed is that is cleans so easily, just hose it off and let dry. Every few weeks I go over it with a soft brush and some soap cleans beautifully!

I've assembled three of these puppies (Pun Intended!) so far, and, right at the end of the job, there's a trick ya' gotta' do! ... FIRST! verify that EACH and EVERY bolt is loose enough to warp the frame slightly; i.e., with a phone book or someone's foot (!) on ONE of the corners, lift UP the DIAGONALLY-OPPOSITE corner JUST enough to align the (final) bolt hole in the cross member with the (final) bolt hole in the support frame!!!

Then, just thread the LAST remaining bolt through and tighten it just a little! ... FINALLY, PUSH ALL four corners down onto the floor and into alignment use MORE phone books or ONE of your remaining "free" arms! ... THEN finish tightening up ALL the bolts!

PLEASE NOTE THAT, when you align ALL four legs evenly on the floor, the fabric tightens up considerably! CONVERSELY, lifting ONE of the legs up allows the fabric to slacken just enough to line up that final bolt! Trying to assemble this thing with all four legs "in the same plane" of alignment down on the floor is an exercise in futility AND utter frustration!

I bought this car seat in anticipation of making several long road trips this fall. I wanted something comfortable and safe for my dear dog Benny, a 3-year old miniature poodle.

Hubby and I took Benny out for several one-hour trial runs over the past few weekends and Benny seems to love this seat. First of all, it boosts him up high enough so that he can comfortably look out the window (while still being safely tethered to the seat). Second, having ordered the larger model, he can stretch out and sit or sleep without being cramped. And third, and most important, is that while wearing his comfortable, stretchy Puppia harness, we can tether him to the seat belt, which secures the car seat just like a child's car seat. This gives Benny enough "give" to move from side to side in the seat, but in the event of slamming on the brakes, he'll stay secured and not end up a hood ornament (hopefully lol).

Be warned this model is BIG. I have it in the back seat (2nd row) of my SUV and it takes up half the seat. Instead of room for 3 people, there's now room for only 1. No bother. He's my only "kid".

This is my second purchase of this item and I have to say it is one of the best purchases I've ever made!! We've been using this seat in both of our cars for years and hands down the quality is excellent! The height is just right for a car or SUV, the drawer is nice for stowing potty bags, baby wipes, extra leashes,etcthere is a lot of room in the drawer. This seat will sit two small dogs just fine. The design of the seat to allow for the car seat to be belted in with the seatbelt on the vehicle is fantastic! It's obvious that serious thought went into designing that safety feature. In those moments when you have to suddenly apply your brakes, the car seat WILL stay in place if your car seatbelt is used properly to secure it in place. If you don't use your seatbelt it won't. It's no different than fastening a child car seat. It's just a matter of common sense to belt the product in. I have purchased dog seat belts from a local pet store to use with the car seat and it works perfectly to keep my dogs safe and secure. I highly recommend this care seatit WONDERFUL!!!

I have two small dogs who often travel with me in the car and who have a tendency to not sit still during the entire trip. I had previously had a dog car seat that resembled a plastic tub with foam inside and a cover on top of it. It worked for a short period of time, but due to the design of it and my dogs moving around, it always tipped over. I finally talked myself into getting a Buddy Lookout car seat, and I'm so glad I did. Not only is it stable and comfortable for them, but it also allows them to move around without me worrying if it will fall over. The dogs actually enjoy the ride more now because they are so elevated, they are able to see everything outside where as before they had to stand on their hindlegs in order to look out the window. I also feel much better knowing that they are secure in their seat and that if I need to brake suddenly that they are not going to go flying into the backside of my driver seat. I have a mini-Schnoodle and a mini-labradoodle (15 lb each); they fit comfortably into the LARGE Outlook Pet Car Seat. This fleece-lined ultra comfy car seat puts my pups up high enough to supervise the world as we drive by, and close enough for me to reach back and interact with them, all while keeping them safely harnessed in. They both have room enough to curl up for a nap too.

I secure the pet car seat with a seatbelt across 2 seats. I decided to anchor tethers (6' dollar store leashes adjusted for each dog) from the trunk area up under the head rests for one car (threaded through the seat crack on my other car) instead of using the ones that go onto the seatbelt. I leave the tethers in the cars and can easily swap the seat between our cars as desired.

The handy hidden drawer is large enough for small food/water dishes, a brush, kibble, treats, and clean-up bags. We're ready to hit the road for adventure! The cover is machine washable, so it always looks nice. I bought mine in Highland Maize, and the quiet blue-gray plaid is attractive with my upholstery. Happy dogs! Happy owner!

When i first got my puppy, this pen was perfect. It gave him plenty of room to play while i was busy around the house. Everything was great but then one day i came home from work and he found a way to make the sides collapse in so he could get out and he wrecked my house. I will say i should have zippered the top but when I zipper the top and the dog collapses the pen, he just get tangled. Since then, I have purchased a regular cage and use this down stairs only with strict supervision.

Love this for our cat. We bought it for travel for her but she has so much fun in it that we leave it open for her at home. She runs, spins in circles, and does flips in it playing with her toys and it has held up perfectly.

Great height and space, enough for a litter box and small hiding cat bed for when we travel with her.

The zipper does seem a little tricky but having been alerted to that in others' reviews, we know to be patient when zipping it open or closed.

The nylon and seams are strong and durable, we feel completely comfortable having our very active cat or our small dog (10 lb) stay in it if need be.

Love the height so that it's not clausterphobic for them.

No problem folding it back together and getting it back in its case.

Best suprise it's really really light and smaller in size, when in case, than we expected. Very convenient to pack into our car.

These are good pads. Nice and large for our small dogs as they tend to miss the smaller pads. Like the two tone as it is ez to tell the top from the bottom and other brands hard to tell which side is up or down as they are very thin and same color and look on each side. It also absorbs good as they used to track the pee from pad to floor. So all around a lot better than the smaller other brands.

We have a dog that is 16 years old. At this point in life she is incontinent. We use this size to cover the main part of her bed and then smaller pads that we have found very cheap to cover the sides. this works out really well.

Our old dog has a great quality of life. Although she cannot see, or hear and has arthritis she still enjoys her walks, dog and cat friends her home, breakfast and dinner. She doesn't have to worry or feel guilty if she makes a pee pee in her sleep.

I was first introduced to this brand through BarkBox, a subscription company that sends you a box of various pet-related items each month. My dog loved these treats! I like that they are natural and grain-free treats as we try and feed our dog the best treats and dog food due to her being prone to itchy skin. They are also made in the US and the first ingredient is... chicken! (not any of those other fillers) They are also a tad bit moist which is great because my dog doesn't like dry treats. There are plenty in each bag and I feel that they last a good amount of time to justify the price. For training, I usually tear them in half (they are soft enough to do that) and they last even longer that way. Would recommend!

This is not a dog bed. There isn't any cushion to this item. It is a dog mat. It does have a water proof backing and a chenille type material on top. I am glad the manufacturer changed the item description because it is indeed a mat, not a bed which is why I gave it three stars instead of 5. If I knew it was a MAT at the time I was looking to purchase a pet bed I would not have bought it because I was not looking for a mat. With that said, the quality of this mat is very good. So if you are looking for a mat I would definitely get this mat for your pet. I guess my review caused the manufacturer to change the name of the product which is good for all of you looking to purchase either a mat or bed for your pet. At least you won't get something you weren't looking to buy which is what happened to me back in '07.

This item is not so much a pet bed as a mat, and a small one at that. If you are considering it for a dog, before buying it, you may want to measure how much space your dog takes up when resting. For a single cat, or even two, the size is good.

The top side is a fluffy surface. The reverse is plain, with closely spaced small dots of rubberized material. To some degree, it stays in place--especially if placed on top of a non-slippery surface, such as an upholstered piece of furniture. On something slippery, it tends to buckle and/or wrinkle as the animal moves about.

DOWN SIDE: There is no real insulating layer between the pet and a surface such as a tile/concrete/other hard surface floor.

UP SIDE: This mat is easily transported. If you want to define a place for a small dog to stay when you visit friends or family, this may serve your purpose. (We used ours during obedience training classes.) It washes easily on the gentle cycle.

OTHER USES: Works as a liner for a kennel. (Use a folder towel underneath as padding for comfort.) Also useful as an easy-to-wash inside liner for a cushioned pet bed.

This is nothing more than a rectangle of black plush fabric. There are no raised edges on it to give the pet a feel of it being a "bed". I really wish they had an image of this before I bought it, but hopefully this review will prevent any of you from making the same mistake.

This would serve OK as a mat inside a pet carrier or dog house and will suit UP TO a medium size dog. It IS only $5, but whether or not that is worth it is up to you. I reckon a scrap from a fabric store would be just about as sufficient.

This are my dog's favorite toy! This purchase was just to upgrade an original purchase. We bought the whole "Hide-a-Squirrel" stump with the squirrels for her for Christmas, and she loves them! She takes the squirrels all around the house with her. They go in her bed, in bed with her humans, and she has never destroyed them like she has every other stuffed toy with squeakers. Any other stuffed toy has become like "road-kill" in a few days, as she chews them until she gets the squeaker out and then pulls the all the stuffing out. These are like her little babies. We just had to upgrade the squirrels because she has started to wear them out from the doggy "slobber" that is always on them from carrying them in her mouth. Overall, a great, and rather affordable investment. Would recommend these to anyone with a terrier who loves to chew their toys!

The actual toy is great! My dogs love it and my house looks like a squirrel massacre! However, the item name needs to be updated because these are not the Large squirrels. They are quite small in fact. I know this is the wrong size because I've already bought the actual large toy, and the squirrels are much bigger! I will keep the product, because my smaller girls can enjoy them, but I would like the name to be updated so that no one else orders the wrong replacement squirrels.

We ordered a set of replacement squirrels at the same time as ordering one of the Hide a Squirrel juniors not realizing the squirrels were a different size. It wasn't a big deal because the replacements were a fun toy size for our little Yorkie-Poo. She was a big fan of the squirrels while they lasted. They are soft, furry, and not overly sqweaky. As has already been stated, the squirrels hold up a lot longer than most of the tough dog toys. Normally, she can shred an indestructable in a day or two but the squirrels took weeks. Well worth the money and a lot of fun to watch.

I have a one-year-old Golden-Retriever-and-Border-Collie mix, and he loves these squirrels. He likes getting them out of the stump, but he loves working on the squeakers in these squirrels. Every once in a while he gets worked up and rips apart a squirrel, hence the need to periodically buy replacements, but they last a decently long time. Many toys with squeekers don't last more than a week (including all those "indestructable" toys).

I give it 3 stars because my Siberian Husky LOVES these in combo with "Kyjen Egg Babies Dog Toy, Original Series, Platypus". It has a pouch you are suppose to put eggs into, but you can stuff these in there as well!

It makes them last far longer, and my dog finds these squirrels much more interesting than an oval egg.

I'll confirm what you are probably expecting. These things last MAYBE 5 minutes otherwise.

They also contain an astonishing amount of stuffing for their size, which means it'll be EVERYWHERE.

In other words, only get these if you get the other toy to stuff them into. Your dog will love you, and they'll last FAR longer. Otherwise, these will last 5 minutes each (15 minutes total), which is also how long it'll take you to clean up the mess.
