Wanted another "Small" sized carrier for our second cat. This time I ordered it from Amazon. Holy moly. Twice, they sent me the "Extra Small" carrier which was incorrectly labeled with a bar code sticker with the product number for the "Small" carrier. Kept telling the service agents that someone mislabeled the product and before sending it, please have someone measure it, but Amazon is too big and productive for that sort of service. Settled for my refund. So I looked elsewhere and unfortunately this size was back-ordered on other sites. Went back to Amazon and they were using one retailer for all the different sized carriers, except for the "Small" sized ones. Decided to try a thrid time and whatdaya know, they were using Big Al's Online for the "Small" carrier. Ordered, best price to date by the way, great service and finally, I got what I wanted. In the end, Amazon came through, but my gosh, what a circus with my initial purchases.

I love this gate. I was so worried about how I was going to contain my toddler while at the same time not having to constantly let my dogs in and out of the living room. Be very aware, this gate is pressure mounted. I would never use it to block a set of stairs as it can be moved if enough force were pushed against it. (I doubt that my daughter could accomplish that if she ever tried, but I would never risk it.) We use it across a doorway, and it is perfect.

We have miniature pinschers and they can get through with no problem at all. When we bought it, I couldn't find the dog door section of the gate dimensions anywhere, so here they are: 7 inches wide X 10.25 tall. It is large enough for a small baby to fit through if they are determined, so you have to pay attention to that if you have a crawler maybe under the age of one (or just a very small toddler). The dog door section does lock closed, so I just lock it if I don't want the dogs running around or have my back turned from the baby while working on something, etc.

Overall, the gate is sturdy and has a decent look to it (as decent as having a gate in your house can look!). The doorway that you walk through is plenty wide, and the locking mechanism is simple to use. There is a main bar that you press down, then a secondary slide can be attached for more security. My toddler has not figured out the main bar section yet, so that is all we lock at this point. If I only have that part locked, I can easily unlock it with one hand while carrying a sleeping child in my arms.

I purchased this gate for the top of my stairway to keep my 10 month old from falling down the stairs. We also have 2 cats that need to be able to get down the stairs to their litter box. We couldn't use a standard gate as that would trap the cats up stairs and I was afraid that they might start using our bed as a litter box! Yikes! This gate solved all of our problems! We can close the gate for the safety of our daughter and keep the small pet door open so the cats and come and go as they please. It's a good quality product but if you are using it for a child, be sure to get the tension really tight against your wall so they aren't able to pull it down. If you have the need for a quality safety gate and also need the pet door function, I highly recommend this gate.

This is a great gate for keeping my smaller dog away when needed without having to lock him away in a kennel. Unfortunately, it did not work quite as well for my Lab. Previously we had a gate with the little squares in it and she was able to climb it. So, we specifically looked for a gate with the long slats, but did not think about the little dog/cat door which allows her to give herself a boost, lol. Definitely no fault of the product, more due to the problem of having a dog too smart for her own good, lol.

I have the gate set up in the walk way through to the kitchen, so I am able to lock myself in to cook without tripping over dogs or I can lock them in if we have company so they are not jumping all over them. I just can't use it to keep the Lab contained if we leave the house, for the reason above. If you have a larger dog, I would definitely suggest trying to find one without the small dog/cat door if you are planning to use it to keep them contained while you are away from home. Or.. you may come home to find them all comfy on the couch that is off limits.

All in all, the product is nicely made. Keep in mind that you will have to make sure to adjust the gate if you happen to trip on it or give it a good bump. Otherwise, the door will not close and latch properly because it is no longer in alignment.

The only thing I did not like about this gate was that it does have to be screwed into the wall and I thought I was purchasing a gate that used tension. I believe this is only a personal preference though, so in my opinion I do not believe this qualifies for any negative marks on the product itself.

I had the same experience as a few other reviewers. I found this gate through the baby store, looking for a gate that would allow my cats through the house while keeping my baby away from the stairs. The first few reviews from other moms were positive and I ordered it. Yes, I should have realized from the NAME that it's actually only a Pet gate. But it didn't mention it anywhere in the details and I didn't really look at the product name, just the picture. So I was surprised and annoyed when I got it and opened it to read FOR PETS ONLY; NOT A BABY GATE, etc. I had the box sitting in my garage for a few months too before opening it, not really needing it until my son started to crawl. Thus I couldn't return it and thought I'd try it out and see if "fatal injuries" could really be caused by this gate or if the manufacturers were just legally covering their butts.

It works fine and I like it. It's a great pet gate. As a baby gate it's not the strongest, and my son knows how to open it now at 20 months. Also, it requires two hands to open rather than one, which isn't easy when holding a small child. Yes, he's stuck his head through the pet door once, but didn't injure himself. He just called for me to get him unstuck and that was that. He hasn't tried it again.

I'm not sorry I kept the product. A decent gate at a decent price.

We needed a gate that would keep the baby in, but let the cats out. The only issue I have with this is gate is that the bottom attachment to the wall is so low that our molding interfers with it, we had to raise the gate about 4 inches, creating a trip hazard. You just have to remember to step over the bar when going in and out. Otherwise, the gate is sturdy, the locking function can be opened with one hand but is too tricky for our one year old to figure out, and the pet door is big enough for our cats to wander in and out (even our 25 pounder) but not big enough for baby. She's stuck her head through it, but there's no way she could get the rest of herself through the gate. A couple of the previous reviews stated that this gate is a tension gate and could be knocked over we have ours screwed into wall studs, you would have to exert some serious force to knock it down, I don't think our 23lb one year old could manage it. She hangs from it and shakes it sometimes, there's a little give, but it's not going anywhere, for sure. Also, someone mentioned something about there kid figuring the gate out our daughter has watched us open it and I've seen her fooling with the latch. I know that she knows to slide the red bit back and lift the latch, however, it really takes adult hand strength to pull the red piece back. I don't think a kid under maybe 3 or 4 would be able to physically open the locking mechanism, but again, I can pretty easily manage it one handed. It's a pretty well engineered design. There aren't that many options for baby gates with pet doors, but this is a good one.

EDIT: Since writing the above review my husband watched our now 14 month old crawl through the pet door. We now keep the pet door closed and let the cat in and out (one can jump over the top but fatty cat needs to be let in and out).

I ordered this gate to replace a standard pressure mounted, plastic gate we were using to section off the living room from the kitchen. With our old gate, everytime you wanted to go into the kitchen, you either had to step over the plastic gate, or remove it and reinstall it EVERY time....such a pain. I wanted something that could stay installed but still would allow us easy access to the kitchen. This gate does just that, and does it BEAUTIFULLY. I went with this gate over the other walk-thrus since it has the widest opening and my husband is a big guy (6'8). It installed in just a few minutes and seems really sturdy. My toddler loves it because he can see through the bars, and I love it because it looks so much nicer than our old one. My favorite aspect of this gate is that you can leave the "door" of the gate in the open position if you need to, and simply close it to keep the baby out. The latch to open the gate is super easy to work with one hand (as long as you have the gate installed correctly and level). Overall, a fantastic purchase and I will definitely be buying another.

We have 2 baby gates the Regalo Easy Step Walk Thru and the Munchkin Easy Close Metal Gate. I would recommend the later. There is no real problem with the Regalo, the Munchkin is just better. 1. The Munchkin lock is a lift and squeeze function designed to be done with one hand, the Regalo requires that you pull back and lift up which can be done with one hand, but is far easier with two hands (and let's face it if you have toddler you never have 2 free hands!) 2. The Munchkin has an additional 3rd lock feature at the bottom of the gate which also serves to determine which way you want the door to swing (it can also be left up so that the door swings both ways). The Regalo only swings 1 direction and has no additional lock feature. 3. The Munchkin will lock automatically when pulled closed. The Regalo must be manually locked (a 1 handed operation but still 1 addition action each time you go in and out.)

I would pick this one over the Regalo any day! (And it's cheaper!!!)

We installed this gate on the second floor near the stairs, but far enough away that it is not actually at the stairs. It seems pretty securely attached to each of the walls and I am confident that my baby won't be able to push it down.

The only things I dislike are:

-The bottom bar: You just have to remember to step over it and being prone to tripping I worry that I'm going to forget one of these days when I am carrying a load of something.

-It says it's "easy-close", but I find you have to exert quite a bit of pressure to get the gate to close. If I push it enough to hit the frame, it will just bounce against it and stay open. It is also quite loud when you do close it and will likely wake a sleeping child who is nearby.

Still it does it's job and I don't think it's worth it to go through the trouble of taking it down and returning it.

I almost didn't buy this gate because I saw some negative reviews about the top latch not working or how hard it was to remove the plastic pieces for the extension. I have to say, I think it was either user error or Munchkin fixed the problems. The two gates I bought and installed were extremely easy. Initially, when I opened the box, it appeared the gate was defective because the thick metal piece on the end had a large separation between it and the latch. After reading the instructions, it was very clear that I needed to tighten the wall supports until the gap was closed. This ensures the gate is installed properly with the correct amount of compression. As far as the top latch goes, it works very well when installed correctly.

With regards to the plastic pieces at the end of the tubes, they are quite easy to remove with a flat head screwdriver. You have to be careful because the extension pieces for the top and bottom are different sizes. Make sure you have the correct sizes and then gently tap them in to secure them.

Overall, I am extremely happy with the quality of the gate (solid metal), it secures very well between walls and the auto-close feature is very nice when you have a little one in your arms. I would certainly recommend this gate to anyone looking for one.

We use this as part of a preventative plan. We have 3 dogs and one cat that are all indoor/outdoor. We started using this product back in April 2011 as part of a flea prevention plan. Because 2 of our dogs are Pomeranian's and our cat is long haired sometimes I think some of the monthly treatment gets lost in their fur and they don't get the full treatment no matter how hard we try.

The cost Sergeant's 24-Ounce Flea-Free Breeze Home and Carpet Spray is more than regular fabric sprays like Febreeze, but it is much cheaper than battling fleas once infested. We use the spray about once a week during the hot months (which in San Antonio was 9 months out of the year). We spray the pets bedding, the area rug on our wood floors and our chenille sofas (which we bought before we had dogs and hope to change out with leather for Christmas).

If we actually see a flea or our groomer finds them on the dogs then all the pet beds and sofa pillows and cushions get taken out to the porch and given a generous spraying of SentryHOME Flea and Tick Home and Carpet Spray 96-Fluid Ounce and the carpets get a dusting of flea carpet sprinkle after the spray dries.

Use some of the home and carpet spray to saturate a cotton ball and put inside your vacuum bag or keep a flea collar in the bag to kill any fleas that get sucked up. They can get out. It is best to take your vacuum outside and empty the bag (or cylinder as we have a Dyson) and seal it in a garbage back and take directly to the trash. Put the cotton ball or flea collar in the vacuum before taking it back in the house. Cotton balls should be changed every time you vacuum, flea collars can be reused for about 6 months and are also a good preventative measure.

I'm using these pads for various cat issues, so I realize this is a bit non-standard. (examples: I have a cat who will pee in the round bed at the top of the cat scratcher, so I cut a around piece of the pad and secure it into the bed bottom with a plastic edging that holds it down and replace as necessary. The carpet on the bed never gets wet.) I really appreciate that they come in unscented. I cut them into various shapes for different applications and they don't fall apart nor shed the inner material when I do. They are light weight and relatively attractive. Even when cut, they do not leak out the edges. This is *key* ... the inner material absorbs very well and stops the spread of fluid. I originally tried the quilted "Gridlock" brand, but the backing is only attached on the edges, so when cut, the backing is loose. Although Gridlock pads are slightly larger, they are significantly more expensive per pad. In any case, If you are looking for a pad that works for the "odd" application, I could recommend the Lola Bean quilted pads. They are very light weight which could be a liability if you have a digging pet. They need to be secured down for some applications. The fact that they come in a nice box is also a huge plus for me.

I used to buy the Iris Neat & Dry pads but I noticed lately there were pads in the bag that kept leaking.

I use these pads clipped to a small crate tray leaning up against a wall for a cat that can't squat anymore and stands up to pee, so the pee eventually drips down to the bottom a lot of the time. I use a EZWhelp pad on the floor for the rare times she can squat...

Compared to the Iris pads, these are exceptional. So far I haven't had any problems with leaking, and they do not smell and as far as I can tell do not have a puppy attractant in them. If they do my cat doesn't mind.

She has diluted urine due to a kidney and thyroid problems so her pee doesn't have a strong smell so I can't speak for a normal cat or dog whose urine has a stronger smell to it, but for my cat there has been no smell coming from the pad after she pees on them.

I've tried a few different brands and these are by far the best. They absorb the urine perfect and don't leak to the bottom (at least not right away). Of course if you leave it there for a long time and there's lots of urine any mess can happen. However other brands I've used I've ended up having to clean up urine underneath even from one visit and less than 5 minutes have past. So what's the point in having a pad then, right!? I even notice if they do potty towards the edge it still manages not the leak out. I'm only buying these until my little one finally understands that outside is the best place to potty. :-)

My small (24 pound) dog loves these talking animals. I've bought him each one of them. He carries them around the house with him, sleeps with them in his dog bed, amuses himself with them, and makes them talk sometimes for ten minutes in a row. He does eventually destroy most of them, pulling the ears off the parrot, destroying the sound mechanism inside, ripping some of them apart. They last him one to several months. His favorite of them all seems to have been the pup from Multipet not pretty much destroyed after three weeks. They are his pets. But this monkey, though it's absolutely adorable, more adorable than the chimp, has the most annoying screeching sound I've ever heard. I haven't given it to him because I don't want to hear that awful screech all day. Something to be concerned about. The sounds the other Multipets make are tolerable, or even cute. Nothing cute about the screeching monkey sounds.

My dog has a monkey toy she shakes and it makes a monkey sound so I thought ordering some of these would be the same brand...they are her favorite. Unfortunately, these won't make a sound unless she squeezes them in the middle and for a smaller dog that's pretty hard to do. She gets her fun by me squeezing it as we play fetch but she still tries to shake it to get it to make a sound which I prefer as that was easier for her in the other brand (which I have no clue what brand it was so I cant recommend it; something I found at Wal-Mart that is no longer there.)

That said, she still has fun with it and enjoys the sound when I squeeze it for her...if you have a medium or large dog they'll LOVE it.

My Mom has been feeding a stray cat ("Ms. Kitty") in her neighborhood for the past 6 months. The local animal shelter hasn't been keen on picking the cat up, and my Mom does not "want" a pet... but as winter approached my Mom became increasingly stressed about how to keep Ms. Kitty warm & protected from the elements. Ultimately I liked the Kitty Tube better because: it seemed better insulated, I thought it looked more aesthetically appealing, the entrance was smaller (the better to keep out the elements and larger animals), the lid can be removed for cleaning and easy interior access, plus it came with a bed. Add the facts that it is MADE IN THE USA!, has a lifetime guarantee, and it is made of recyclable materials win, win, win!

My only problem I had dilly-dallied until the last minute, so chances were that the Kitty Tube would not arrive in time for Mom's birthday, which was only a day away! Amazon only gave me one shipment option, so I went ahead and placed the order and expected a late arrival. But I noticed on the Kitty Tube business page that faster shipping was available to customers in certain states including Illinois, where my Mom lives. I sent Kitty Tube an email asking about this delivery option (even though my order had already been placed). I went to bed in the wee hours of Thursday morning. By the time I woke up Jim from Kitty Tube had already responded to my email, changed the shipper for Mom's Kitty Tube, and refunded me $18 to reflect the difference between the shipping fees. To top it off, he wished my mom a Happy Birthday. How's that for customer service?!

The next day, Friday, was Mom's birthday and what should appear but her new Kitty Tube! She had no idea what it was initially. A visiting uncle helped her open the box and figure out what was inside. When she realized it was a weatherproof cat house for Ms. Kitty, she burst into tears from sheer relief. She hadn't even realized how stressed she had been about keeping the cat warm and safe outside through the winter. My uncle dispatched Ms.Kitty's shower-curtained cardboard box to the garage and set the Kitty Tube up in it's place on my mother's covered back patio. Mom initially put Ms. Kitty in while the lid was off, and Ms. Kitty shot straight back outside through the doorway. Then Mom put Ms. Kitty's favorite fleece blanket on top of the Kitty Tube's cat bed and put her in again. Ms. Kitty still didn't hang around, but she was starting to get the idea. By that evening, she was entering the Kitty Tube on her own, kneading her fleece blankie, and settling in to nap. Mom went out again after dark to check and see if Ms. Kitty was inside the Kitty Tube. She said "Are you in there, Ms. Kitty?" Ms. Kitty responded with an affirmative MEOW from inside her new house, and stayed put in her bed! My Mom is THRILLED. Therefore, so am I!

Just an FYI the only thing that was not anticipated (by me) is that my Mom's Kitty Tube is black. In the Amazon photos it looks more silvery-gray. But Mom & Ms. Kitty certainly aren't complaining!

I live 2,000 miles from Mom, and I called her later that night to see how her birthday had gone. I think we were on the phone for about 2 hours, and all she could talk about was the Kitty Tube. She said she kept going outside to admire it like it was a new car, and she proclaimed more than once that it was the "Cadillac of cat houses"! So there you have it Mom & Ms. Kitty have spoken!

Don't let the 4-star review deter you. It should be a 4.5 out of 5 star review. I am basing this review partly on the cat's ability and desire to use the shelter as well as the shelter design. First, the design looks to be top notch. The top fits securely and there is Styrofoam insulation all around the shell including a top baffle. The top lid rotates to open or close a set of holes which act as vents. The shelter comes with a really plush bed that looks and feels soft and comfortable. It's made out of lightweight plastic and is easy to carry and move around. It is non obtrusive and doesn't stand out like a sore thumb so that's a plus as well.

My only issue is that the cat I'm trying to shelter is semi-feral and doesn't really like to be confined -at least not yet anyway. I purchased two outdoor pet heating pads and have placed one inside the Kitty Tube and one is sitting on an outdoor deck chair cushion. So far the cat likes the chair best even as the temperatures have dropped into the 20s the last few nights. I have tried to entice the cat with cat nip but so far he's only gone inside the Kitty Tube for about 15 seconds at a time. We have a raccoon problem as well so i hesitate to use food as a lure at this point.

So, I'll give the Tube high marks all around for construction, shipping, design, etc. With an outdoor heating pad, it's about as cozy as you can make it. I'm still a little disappointed that the cat won't go in there yet though I'm blaming the cat more for that than the shelter. I would highly recommend this for its fit and finish and ease of use.

I purchased the kitty tube last year for a stray that was abandoned by my house. Because of the kitty tube, this kitten (now named Mr. Boobers), survived the winter. I only had a few ways that i thought the house could be better, no hole at the bottom and insulation at the bottom....and the new/improved house has addressed both of those concerns. They also have doubled the thickness of the entire insulation. Because of the small adjustable openings at the top (two on either side), I am able to put a light in there as well as a heating pad for extra warmth during winter months. Another added suggestion....once your kitty is use to the home, i started to tape a washcloth over the entrance, slowly covering 1/4 inch of opening entrance every week (so cat can get use to it), now it is completely blocking any wind that could cool the home but cat can easily enter by just pushing through washcloth that falls back down once he's entered. Mr. Boobers loves his home...I had some questions/concerns about the home and the creator/owner, contacted me personally to talk about the home and gave his number for any future questions that i might have, i believe his name is jim, very nice man. It was the best $money spent for my outdoor cat, and you won't regret it. I shopped around and i have high expectations. I have purchased two homes the original and new and improved...you will not be disappointed. If you have an outdoor cat and care about their survival in winter...buy this house!! I never write reviews, but i just had to, because i'm so grateful. Mr. Boobers is a happy kitty!!

I purchased this Kitty Tube after looking in pet stores and online at prices for outdoor cat homes. I found that for the insulation, design, size and most importantly price this was all around a great deal.

I really like the way the Kitty Tube looks. It can easily fit into any space indoor or outdoor. But the big test was really seeing if my cat took to it.

I had to make my mostly indoor cat an outdoor cat after he repeatedly urinated on my basement carpet after the birth of my son. I hated to do it but the only other option was to find him a home and he is over 10 years old. I didn't want to do that. But to my amazement he really loves it outdoors. My only concern was the winter months. He had a make shift home on my deck that provided cover but it wasn't ideal and it was ugly. He was in it for almost 5 months and really it was time to upgrade.

I put the Kitty Tube right in the same location as his old bed. I tried to put him in it though the front opening and he refused. I was afraid he might not fit because it was such a small hole and he is over 20 pounds. But I put him in by removing the cover and he ran out the small front door. So he fit, no problem. I actually like how small it is I feel like he is more protected.

After all that trying to force him in which I knew wouldn't work I put some cat nip on the bed and left him alone. Within 1 hour he was curled up inside. I have to say he absolutely loves it. I see him in it all the time. I can't imagine a cat that wouldn't.

We found this cat house on Amazon and weren't sure whether or not our cats would like it. After receiving it (shipping was very fast!), we can say that our cats don't like it, they LOVE IT! I am a postal carrier and purchased the dazer as a first line of defense against dogs. I easily see over 100 dogs a day and when a dog barks at me, I hit the dazer.

I have nearly worn out the battery testing this little device. I cover many routes and have tested this device over 1000 times (easily). It has worked tail-tucking-excellent on only 4 dogs. It will stop about 50% of all dogs from barking for a few seconds. And about 30% of dogs from barking as long as I hold the button.

For a postal carrier this is great because it quiets down my day, but I'd only use this as a primary defense if I had a can of mace as back up--which I do.

I also agree that it works much better on mid-size dogs. Nearly no effect on small dogs--the ones that yipe and bother me the most--darn.

I normally don't make time for reviews but this item is so wonderful I want to post flyers for it throughout my neighborhood as the barking dog problem is rampant. The short version...The pros: It will quiet a barking dog with sensitive ears,it really does shut them up! The cons: It doesn't work through walls! You have to be near the dog (w/in 50ft) for it to have an effect. Get this item if you have a barking dog problem and an inconsiderate neighbor who refuses to do anything about it.

The story: Everytime anyone used to go outside of my newly purchased house, the neighbor's dog would bark incessantly. Not to mention the fact than anytime anything happened w/in earshot the dog would be barking. I asked the neighbor if she could do something about this and she replied, "He's a Lab, they just bark". Unacceptable and not true, only untrained ones do. I tried dog treats, I tried coaxing then I resorted to the hose, and all it did was raise my waterbill and make a large stripe in my lawn very green. So we built a large privacy fence (at our expense) and the barking did not stop. This "Dazer" was my last hope. So the day came to try it out (read: "the moment it arrived in the mail" comes WITH batteries!)It works exceptionally well!!!! I can't tell you how empowering this thing is. I feel like John Wayne. To finally have something to stop the barking. It's so peaceful when my family, friends and I go outside. If the dog starts, I walk over, aim it in the dog's direction push and hold the button and say "Quiet", the animal stops and runs in the house so quickly, you'd think I'd maced it. So I am covertly training my neighbor's dog for her! I was skeptical but relieved to have a tool to bring respite to this barking phenomenon that appears to be taking over the peaceful homes of America due to socially irresponsible dog owners (don't get me started). PS: I love animals. I have 2 well trained dogs myself, that have never needed a Dazer as I took them AND myself to dog training courses. (I'd never heard of it before until I Googled "how to stop your neighbor's dog from barking") Get this, if you value peace and quiet.

Add me to the growing list here of people who swear by this product and are amazed at its effectiveness. It really does work, so much so that I felt compelled to tell others.

Like other reviewers, I bought the Dazer in desperation after all other methods had failed to stop my neighbors' two Schnauzers from barking at me and my children every time we tried to use our own back yard. When I first used the Dazer on them, the dogs actually stopped mid-bark and looked at me as if I had just called them Chihuahuas. When they started to bark again, I Dazed them a second time and again, they stopped instantly. I then gave the now-silent and clearly befuddled mutts one final shot of ultrasonic goodness for good measure (heh heh), at which they turned and scurried off into their house not in pain, but clearly annoyed at whatever sound the Dazer puts out (humans cannot hear it, nor can my two elderly dogs).

The mongrels and I repeated this scenario for two more days after this, and that did the trick. Now when anybody in my family goes into the back, they either run off or ignore us completely. Oh, they still bark sometimes, but not at us. Like John Wayne (as one reviewer put it so well), I keep the Dazer clipped to my waistband just in case I need to remind them what it sounds like. I might even have done so once or twice, but that cannot be confirmed.

I don't know if the thing works on all dogs, or if it stops a charging dog, and I hope never to find out. I wouldn't rely on the Dazer or any other device to protect my children from an attacking dog, anyway, as Mr. Schinzer below might. But I know this: the Dazer has made my back yard a fun and QUIET place for me and my family to enjoy once again.

Now, if it only worked on loud people...

I have three large dogs next door that bark and howl all the time! There are two rots and one chow/husky mix and they are constantly waking up my 15 month old. I decided to get the Dazer 2 because of the reviews and the price and I am SO GLAD I DID! I stand out my back door and point it at the fence where the dog is (about 25 feet away through a 6 foot wood fence) and press the button for about 2 seconds and at first they just stopped barking for a minute, than barked again so I set it off again and they ran inside. Now whenever they bark, I set it off and they tuck tail and run in the house. Now they rarely bark! 1 month later: If they do bark all I have to do is open the sliding back door and they run in the house. I would defiantly call it a SUCCESS! I could KISS the inventor!

I am very pleased with the Dazer!!

The next-door neighbors own 2 dogs that they by the way they don't care about hence they leave them out in the backyard all the time... for them to bark and torture me very effectively.

The `fence' between the 2 houses is a 6-feet wall. When someone comes out to the backyard the dogs immediately run towards the common fence and bark as loud as possible; though they are small/medium-sized, their barks are quite loud and bothersome.

I used the Dazer today for the first time... I heard them barking and went out into my backyard and went close to the backyard where they ran to immediately, barking and barking non-stop.

I `dazed' them once and they immediately ran away from the fence and one of the dogs quit barkingthe small one. The larger dog -though also ran away, kept barking.

But I decided to invest 5 minutes to train them and stayed there so every time I heard barks -mostly the large dog because the small one wouldn't bark again, I hit the button on the dazer and though the dog became more irritated, it was clear that something was bothering him but he ended up quitting the barking...I know I probably will have to invest a few more days/weeks to fully train them, but it was very effective.

It is wonderful, it works!!!! I couldn't hear a thing but clearly it was very effective on the dogs... I am very happy with the product, it works!!!!

The dog house arrived only 2 days after I placed the order with 3-5 day shipping. It was very easy to assemble, basically just screwing the walls and roof together. My only complaint is the dimensions are a bit small. The medium size entrance is almost the same size as the small size entrance. I should have looked at this before I placed the order. When compared to other medium sized dog houses, this one is smaller. I would recommend getting a size larger than what you normally would have purchased when buying a different brand. Measure your dog and look at the dimensions before making this purchase.

I loved this beach themed dog house as soon as I saw it, as we all are beach bums at heart this was the perfect pick for our pupp. The reason I can only give it 4 stars is that the chimony (because of it's angle) and the somewhat "prisonish" looking bars in the window look a bit odd, and my husband had to do some drilling before assembly as there was quiet a few pre drilled holes missing. BUT after we got it finished and out in the yard (we just left the chimony off) and put a piece of left over carpet in there, our dog loved it. I would highly recommend to put something on the floor as there are a few gaps that might make some dogs not want to lay down in it. By now it has gone thru fall and winter with rain, hail, snow and sub zero temps and I must say it still looks as good as on day one. The adjustable feet are a great feature for evening out uneven grounds as well. All in all it's a great dog house.

The Beach Dog House is cute and the large I ordered is sufficient for my dog. The quality is lacking in a few respects: the roof paint is very thin...almost seems to be brown and white streaks. We had to repaint it. There are a couple of places where the edges dont quite meet ( eg around the door frame). The window consists of metal poles, looking very much like jail bars. I can't review the chimney, as it was completely smashed on arrival . I am having a handy man make a new one from scratch.

Cute little dog house, but don't expect amazing quality. Some of the wood was cracked, and the top roof panel was broken. It's the last step of building the house, what am I going to do? Return it? I just screwed it on and moved on. The little chimney is decoration only, so I just threw it out. Looks pretty stupid. All in all, it was very easy to put together with a power screwdriver. Took me 10 minutes and it was done. It has a little window, and it's not 100% air-tight, or even remotely weather-proof. So if you live in a rainy area, you may want to pass on this one. I live in a hot, sunny location so it works for me.

This is really a good quality indoor pet house. I have owned 3 others. This one has the best quality walls very sturdy. Also the zippered top is much better then Velcro ones I have previously used.

My dog loves it. She is a Jack Russel/ Rat Terrier about 25lbs. She loves to curl up inside and take naps. It makes a nice retreat for her when she get scared of something. It is very comforting to her.

I love the style of this pet house, however the curtians tend to get in the way when my dog enters the house. It forces her to crawl on her belly just to get inside it and becuase of that, she doesnt go in there often and I tend to find her in my other dog's house. She does like the pillow and I've also noticed that she took that into my other dog's house LOL! This pet house is not sturdy, my puppy jumped on the roof and it caved in on her and scaring her!
