I have a white Shih Tzu who always has had a problem with tear stains and dried eye goobers in the hair by her eyes... after using this product on her, her tear stains are gone! I have tried tear stain wipes, spray, other scrubs, etc... but this was the only product that worked. It doesn't bother her when it gets in her eyes, although, she does try to lick it a lot! Overall, great product. I have recommended it to several friends with light colored dogs.

I bought this for my little two pound Maltese. She has 2 full sets of teeth (her baby teeth and adult teeth). She has always had a little tear staining, but when we took her to get her baby teeth removed, the tear stains became unbelievably dark. We don't show her so it's not a huge deal, but it was somewhat unsightly. After doing a lot of research, I found out that Angel Eyes works very well but then after speaking to my vet about it, I found out that it is an antibiotic! You are supposed to "sprinkle it on their food" so no dosage control, nothing! Well, first of all, I have more than one dog and I don't want to medicate all of them, second, my dog is 2 pounds! What if she overdoses or something? So, back to the search. I found this that had very good reviews. Well, I have used it for 3 days now. I put it on a soft toothbrush like toothpaste and gently scrub around her eyes. After 3 minutes, I rinse the toothbrush and use it to remove the "soap" (it's not really soap much more gentle!) from around her eyes. I gently rub with a soft dry towel, and then let her face air dry. After only 3 days, her tear stains are much lighter. I don't know if it will make the tear stains disappear completely, but as I said, that's not a real concern, I just don't want them to be so dark she looks like a little white raccoon! So I really think that this is a good product. Gentle, smells great, and definitely lightens tear stains.

My dog not only gets tear stains, but gets eye boogies then get stuck to the hair near his eyes, and gets totally gross. So I bought this after reading about it on a maltese forum. I really like it! I use exfoliating gloves, pour a little on, and apply it with care on his damp face. He doesn't mind one bit, i scrub a little, then wash it off then dry his face a little, viola, he looks tons better and his little face smells delicious! I would buy it again.

I got my Maltese when he was 5 months old. He had bad tear stains. They were so bad his beautiful white coat (around his eyes and running down his face) were pitch black. Right away i started using Angel Eyes which worked somewhat. Then I bought the Tropical Spa. First I cut off my dog's hair (the areas that were severely stained) then I started washing his face every 3 days. The product does work but you MUST continuously wash your dog's face. Now my dog's coat is white plus the product smells great. I will keep ordering this.

This is a pretty good dog toy. My dog is on the small side (16 pounds) and definitely loves toys. We rate his toys based on safety and how long they last, and this one did well. It lasted several months until he finally worked a stitch free. It has no parts we were concerned he would swallow and was a favorite of his while it lasted.

I had a rubber dog door framed and installed in the wall of my bed room,

and after a few years it started to fall apart and water rotted the

wood around the dog door, I wanted something heavy duty that would last,

and thats what I got, the outer frame is metal, the inner door is thick

Plexiglass, the door works well, and is well made, there is one

problem, and it may not be a problem for you, its loud, not just loud,

but really really loud, hurt your ears loud, when the door shuts in the

middle of the night, when your asleep, it sounds like a gun shot, and

its a kinda like crack of the whip sound, I was able to quiet it down

a little by using strips of self adhesive weatherstripping, the weather

striping is about 1 centimeter thick,

I would not recommend this for a bedroom, or any ware a sudden loud

sound will bother you, other than that, its a great product

great product easy to install. My dog hates this door. It is heavier than most dog doors. The first time she used it it slammed shut and scared her to the point that she thinks is possessed. She will only walk through it if I hold it open. Thus negating the reson for the door. I used to buy the pet doors locally and all they carried were the flexible plastic ones. These would work fine, but all of them cracked and fell apart when we'd get our annual northern states week in January where the temperature drops below -30F. Like putting a rubber band in liquid nitrogen. The last straw was adopting a new puppy who managed to destroy 2 more doors with chewing.

This door is very rugged and chew-proof. Easy to install. We've yet to go through a winter with it, but metal and plexiglass should easily survive the cold. It is loud, as I've seen in other reviews, but we have a kennel attached to the barn, so noise is not an issue. If we did have a kennel attached to the house, my guess is some foam insulation would quiet it down just fine.

So far, so good.....

I bought this door because my big ol' boxer is a sis and he will not play outside. I have a door that had previously been fitted with a plastic pet door, like those available in pet stores. Mr. Wimp chewed and punched until he totally destroyed it. So began my search for an indestructable door for when I need him to be outside.

Other reviewers complain about the noise this door makes, and they are correct: it is loud. It also has some pretty stout springs that may be difficult to navigate if your dog is slow, old, timid, or puny. My dog was frightened out of his wits the first couple of times I coaxed him through and is still pretty careful with it on day two.

My beef with this door is that I could not tell by the pictures what I was actually getting. The seller was very friendly on the phone, but they did not know what it looked like either, as they don't stock the door so they never get to see it. That deficiency is what prompted me to write a review. What follows is what I wish I had known up front.

See the shiny aluminum framework in the seller's picture? (The clear area in the middle is a heavy plexiglass panel that swings the other way.)When you buy this door, you are ONLY getting a flap to screw on over the hole you cut in your door or wall or whatever. That's it. No trim of any kind for the hole. This is fine if you are using it for a gun dog kennel, but on the house where looks matter, plan to spend extra time and money trimming out your opening. The instructions that accompanied this were by no means exhaustive, so don't buy this if you aren't pretty sure you can handle what you're getting yourself into.

This door will NOT be weatherproof. There is a gap above the plexiglass flap that is substantial enough to let in quite a draft and maybe water, depending on where you put the door. I put mine on an exterior mudroom door protected by a covered patio, so it doesn't matter for me, but other buyers might want to know that!

The door itself is very heavily constructed, but only 2 little wood screws actually attach the flap to your door. I drilled holes all the way through the door and used nuts and bolts to make the attachment instead. (You will have to make allowances for counter sinking the heads if you buy the closing panel.)

All in all, this door is super sturdy and it will serve the purpose for which I purchased it for years to come. If you take the time to dress it up when you install it, it won't look too bad, either. Not attractive, just not too bad.

I bought and installed this door about two years ago. It drives me CRAZY -I hate it, but now that I went to so much effort to cut a hole in my house to install it, and given the lack of other durable dog doors on the market, I'm reluctant to change it. It is installed on the first floor of my house, and even in my second-floor bedroom, it SLAMS me awake every time the dogs go in and out of the house. Near where it is installed, it is loud enough to make everyone around wince -it really gets on your nerves! SLAM, SLAM, SLAM, SLAM, SLAM, SLAM, SLAM SLAM. Jesus. You can't just weatherstrip the door, since then it would leave a gap and let outside air and insects in. I would not buy this product again ... in retrospect, I would have preferred to keep replacing cheap, quiet doors every couple of years.

I open 1 capsule over wet canned catfood and feed 2 cats. This seemst to keep fleas under control around here. I don't even treat very often -maybe once a month and 1 cat goes in and out of doors. It's so much nicer than administering harmful topicals to the cats. One of my cats literally cries like a baby when I used to apply frontline, etc. on her. That stuff just cannot be good for them! This and a good vacuum is a much safer alternative!

I got these for my 75# labradoodle. She loves them and we have been through six dozen so far.

Yes, six dozen. Many go over the fence (good bouncers!) and are lost. The rest she has eventually chewed in two. These are hollow and she eventually pops them. One will typically last about a week.

We lately have moved to the "Pinky" solid sponge rubber balls. Not the "Spaldeen" type which are also hollow, but the solid ones. So far, she can mess them up pretty well but doesn't destroy them.

I have tried many products for my dog's buffalo breath and nothing has worked. I considered trying "Greenies," but was aghast when I saw how expensive they are. Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I've got 4 small dogs and one of them has breath so bad I can't stand for her to face me. Oddly, she was the only one of the four who seemed less than interested in these treats and normally she's the biggest chowhound of them all. I wish I could say I've seen a difference in her -or rather smelled a difference -but when I looked her in the face on the couch tonight I literally gagged. Seriously. The wrong end of this dog smells better than her breath. She's only 3 but I'm going to have her teeth cleaned by the vet and have them take a more serious look down in there -it's possible something has died and is still stuck between her teeth. That's the way it smells anyway. If that doesn't work maybe I'll try some spirulina powder all by itself which is the dominant active ingredient in Breath Bites. Good thing she's spayed because the girl would never get a date with that breath.

I tried this product in effort to resolve a horrible breath problem with my moms dog Charlie, after adopting him. Yes, he does have some dental issues at age 15 and had him checked by the the vet. I have a 50lb black lab and the Tuffy toys are the absolute best! Abby is a big chewer and has a tendency to tear through toys extremely quickly (she has been known to chew through a rope in about 15 minutes). We have bought several of the Tuffy Ultimate toys and they all have lasted her at least 6 weeks a very long time for her! She absolutely loves them all. The fish is probably her favorite. We can tell her to "go get your fish!" and she'll scour the house until she finds it! Buying from amazon is definitely the way to go too almost half the price of buying them at our local pet store.

Four months after purchase this is my dog's favorite toy, and it's still in one piece (mostly). She ripped the back corner and disabled the squeaker but other than that this toy has lasted the test of time.

My dog is a 120 pound great dane that will completely destroy a typical pet shop toy in about 20 minutes, or at a minimum remove all the stuffing and make it look like it snowed inside the house.

I'd recommend this style toy to anyone and plan on buying more.

Don't get me wrong, this is a solid toy. Much more solid than I would have thought based on the picture. Our dog, a Golden Doodle, is a heavy chewer. A few times at the black edging was enough to get the toy opened, the two squeakers "killed" and all of the stuffing pulled out. The only reason it lasted a week, I think, was because any time it looked like he was really going to tear into it, we distracted him with another toy. If this is a toy one would use for fetching, it would probably work for you.
