So far, so good. I have a 3mo shep that so far has a blast with this thing. I saw one reviewer that said it tore apart, and will update as time goes by. So far I love them....well, she loves them. Easy for her to pick up, when the ball is much larger than her mouth (holes in ball) the football shaped one bounces in odd directions, but highly recommend the blue one, as dogs see blue well (color blind).

Our dog is a power chewer. She's medium sized with big dog chewpower!

She loves this ball we have the blue one. It is perfect for making her really work to get to her Stella and Chewy's freeze dried steaks. We break them in half, stretch open one of the openings and put the treats inside. She has a ball rolling, chasing and bouncing this thing around. Keeps her interested and active for about 15 minutes as she figures a way to get to the treats inside. She loves a good puzzle!

While she does stand on this collapsible ball, and chews on it, she has not damaged itand that's a relief, since she IS a power chewer.

I bought one of these last year at a pet store and it was amazingly sturdy. It survived hundreds of hours of intense chewing by my terrier. Finally he destroyed it, and we immediately bought this replacement on Amazon. But *it wasn't the same thing*. It was the same shape and color and brand name, but much much flimsier. Just looking at it, we could see how the rubber was thinner and stretchier. And indeed, our terrier tore it apart easily, within 10 minutes.

Investigating further, I went to a pet store and saw on the rack both the hardy and the flimsy kind of ball, with exactly the same price and SKU. My guess is that the company has just recently switched to a cheaper manufacturer that makes the flimsy balls, and I was seeing the last of the old hardy balls.

Here's a trick: With the hardy kind, one of the hexagons is not a hole but filled-in, with "jw" written on it. With the flimsy kind, all the hexagons are cut out the same.

Anyway, if you see that the reviews seem to be "love-it-or-hate-it", this is why: Some customers got a totally different product than others did. Mine was the flimsy kind. The customer reviews lead me to believe that everybody is getting the flimsy kind these days.

My 55 lb Aussie puppy loves this toy. We graduated to the 8" after the other just became too small. She now quite happily runs and jumps and carries and chases the ball all day long, all by herself; leaving me plenty of time to do things like write this review. Great for heavy chewers, fun to play fetch with (it flies through the air with little effort) and a wonderful toy for dogs who like to carry things around because they need to have a job. If your dog isn't one for fetching balls, this is probably not the toy for you. However, if your dog is the kind that lives to run down tennis balls, you NEED to own this product.

I own two Chuckit's. I have the large version featured here and also the small size version. I actually tend to use the small size more often because it's easier to control your throws and I'm not as often in an area where I can make use of the large size's range. The small size sill allows you to chuck it pretty darn far if you want. However, for when you are at a wide open area (like a park or beach) and you want the herculean ability to catapult a tennis ball to the outer limits of your dog, this large size Chuckit can't be beat.

The light weight of a tennis ball makes it very difficult to throw long distances no matter how strong your arm strength is. Even throwing 40yrds gets strenuous over time, but with Chuckit, little more than the flick of a wrist will achieve that distance. Plus, the length of the product makes bending down to pick up slimey, slobbery, wet tennis balls a thing of the past.

There were two reasons I wanted a chuck it when we got our dog. Picking up gross, dirty, slobbery tennis balls is no fun and I have a bad shoulder. I have had three surgeries on my shoulder so my mobility with it is limited thus making throwing difficult. With the chuck it, I can throw a tennis ball across the entire dog park with a flick of the wrist. After the dog brings the ball back and drops it the tennis ball pushes back in to the chuck it and my hands never have to touch the ball.

It takes very little practice to learn how to use the chuck it and get the ball as far or as short as you want it to go. You can throw overhand, sidearm or underhand and get the results you want.

The chuck it works with any standard size tennis ball and is made of thick durable plastic. A must have for dogs who love to fetch balls.

This toy is great. It throws the ball farther than you can by hand but, the best part is YOU do not have to touch that gross ball ever again! The dog drops the ball at your feet (if he doesn't you don't throw it and he will learn...) Then you use the "chuck it" to pick it up and throw it. My dog jumps around like a maniac when he sees me pick up the "chuck it". He loves it. The second best fetch toy is the original floppy disc, we have tried other frisbee type toys but the floppy disc is easiest for the dog to actually catch But the "chuck it" is the number one toy. The "Chuckit" ball launcher has been a godsend and probably has saved my dog from injury on a number of occasions. Sounds like an odd testimony indeed, but I have a very sociable and trusting whippet and whippets are possibly one of the two fastest dogs on the planet. Before Jack was interested in chasing a ball, he would only want to entice dogs to chase him at the dog beach or dog park. Consequently, there have been dogs who became aggressive during the chase and have lain in wait for him to run by and have nipped and toppled him to get him under control. I realize this had to stop. So I bought a Chuckit and Jack was hooked immediately. Now he could care less about dogs chasing him he is happy to greet them but he does NOT want to be chased any longer. He is so addicted and hyperfocused on the ball. And IF a dog at the beach or park starts chasing him once I have "chucked" the ball, when the dog catches up with Jack, he just comes to a dead stop and will not let the dog chase him. Additionally, in two instances recently, I was able to use my chuck it to ward off dogs rushing towards us, off leash, with no owner in sight. They stayed clear of the crazy lady with the orange stick! So, it has been miraculous for us. Jack's brother is NOT interested in the ball and he has already had surgery for a serious dog attack dogs chasing whippets whippets with very thin skin and skin tears easily. I love my Chuckit launcher. But I ONLY buy the ULTRA balls which are orange rubber with a blue contrasting stripe because they bounce so nicely.

Not that the exercise isn't good for me, but it sure makes playtime a lot easier when I don't have to bend down to pick up the ball every time (my dog has expressed, clearly, that she is a "pointer" and NOT a "retriever" :)

Just make sure to use this properly (good form) and, with any "new" movement, expect to be a little sore after chucking this the first few times.

My throwing skills are not the greatest but, with the Chuckit!, I can lob the ball (I also use tennis ball with this) about three times farther than I can throw so the dog is happy with this item, too.

This is a very clever device (that I wish I thought up!) and I would recommend it to anyone especially people with limited mobility. It's a great way to 'actively' play with your dogs.

I bought this bed because it looked very cushy and warm. We use it in my dog's crate, and it gets washed once a week on gentle cycle in cold water. Then it gets dried on an equally gentle cycle. The make up of the bed stays together quite well, but all the cords that are meant for traveling get destroyed. We only use this bed for household use, and occasionally to line the dog crate on long road trips. We don't use it for camping our any other outdoor use. It's supposed to be an adventure mat, but if you can't clean all of the outdoor (or indoor -i.e. hair) mess off of it without damaging it, it's not a great product.

This is a high-quality custom engraved pet ID. The engraving is not very deep, or bold, but can easily be read if you take it in your hand. The disc is hard stainless steel, so it will not wear off, or gather crud, if dragged in the food dish.

I wish they offered this in an option of all light colors on the house and the mattress. I would choose all light colors so that light-haired pets can use this without every little hair showing up on the dark-brown faux suede. The fur really sticks to the suede making the otherwise attractive bed look messy. The entrance is also too low for some pets to enter comfortably. It should be taller to accommodate the shape of a dog or cat and should also be less wide in order to minimize the overall entrance size (to retain warmth). For these oversights, I must deduct two stars.

The product does have some qualities we like. We have used this as an outdoor home for a cat who was too shy to come indoors. On the coldest nights, I placed a heating pad inside the pet house and under the mattress. The zippered sides allow a convenient opening for inserting a heating pad in such a way that the cord can be led out the back corner and kept out of sight. I fabricated a fleece flap to close the opening and better insulate the house. That modification raised the interior temperature by about 20 degreess. Thanks to the thick walls and the thick fleece flap I made, the kitty found herself in a nice 70 degree home when outside temps lowered to the 30's. With the modifications of a heating pad and a flap, this makes an excellent outdoor kitty bed for cold nights (for use in dry areas only as it is not waterproof).

Just got the new house (bought large size) for my two Chihuahuas (5 pounds & 8 pounds) to hang out in together; plenty of room for both together inside at once. Shipping was free and fast...gotta love that. Better than that though is the fact that they are so happy with their new dog house :) They were just waiting for me to put it on the floor once I got it all set up (which only took about 1 1/2 minutes). I purchased the Lucky Dog 5 x 15 foot weatherguard Kennel Roof System less than a year ago from Atwoods and the tarp is disintegrating. It is shedding small silver flakes all over the place and has developed a large tear. This cover is in an open area that is not exposed to falling limbs or excessive pine straw, just a lot of hot Arkansas sun. I am very disappointed in this tarp because I have car covers, boat covers, motorcycle covers, propane grill covers, etc. that are several years old and they are holding up fine. This tarp didn't even last a year. I like the kennel, it wasn't to difficult to put together and it gives you the option of 5 x 15 feet or 10 x 10 feet. But I do not recommend this cover. You can purchase a much cheaper tarp that will hold up for several years.

i bought this piece of junk, and thought it was a clearance dog kennel. Found out it was just an A frame roof for the kennel.

VERY impressive little unit! I bought an XS size, and it's really a fine piece of work in every way. First of all the price for it is great for an all wood constructed house, the shipping was FAST, and arrived very cleanly packed and well organized. Can be put together with a single screwdriver in less than half an hour, the construction is amazingly top-notch, it looks beautiful. The one thing to be aware of is you should buy it well ahead of the time you're going to NEED it, due to the wood stain the odor is quite strong and you have to let it sit outside for at least a couple of days to let the smell dissipate. This is normal with wood stains though. I recommend this product very highly.

Loved the cedar smell as I opened the box, thats about all I love about the house! Directions aren't bad, but as you attach the sides to the front you quickly notice that the bolts don't hold to anything. It's a wobbly mess. We solved the problem by going to the hardware store and buying metric size 5 .80 nuts/washers. Worked like a charm and the house was stable like it should have been before. Not sure why these aren't included, they are a must.

I spent forever trying to get one of the bolts to go through a predrilled hole only to finally figure out that there was a metal rod blocking the hole. So we had to re-drill a new hole and actually ended up just using a screw we had on hand to get the side attached to the front.

On to the roof...screws stripped easily and were very difficult to get in.

Now to the feet, it does come with "caster" type feet that have a screw in the bottom. No directions or pictures as to installation and also no predrilled holes. Gave up for the night and will try to figure it out tomorrow.

All in all, it's together and will keep it. Wouldn't purchase again and not sure I'd recommend it. Time will tell if it holds up or not.

Well... I saw this item and i decide to give it a shot, the product arrive on time but here comes the reason why i give ONE star.

First of all the item was as soon as a got it out it was all splintered, not just that but all the edges where uneven and splintered as well. Not just that, apparently the "holes" to put the screws on, where not in the right places at all and the were not even fully perforated, i had to apply a lot of pressure just to get them tru them.

Averall then product is not "high quallity" its just wood that is been chopped and put in a box.

This is the pet bowl you should be looking for. The ones with the rubber rings around the edges will also keep a dish from sliding across the floor, but after a while, the rubber ring tends to crack and fall off the bowl. This dish (and others like it in different sizes) has a solid rubber bottom that will help hold the bowl in place while your pet eat or drinks from it. I've yet to have one crack or lose its efficacy and my older dog has been using a similar (though larger version) for ... probably 4-5 years. This is a good product at a good price, and no one paid me or gave me swag to say that.

These bowls are great once you can get them to a use-worthy state. The company puts their stickers on the inside-bottom of the bowl. This is irritating because the sticker does not cleanly pull off. Even after two runs through the dishwasher I couldn't get all the glue and gunk off. It took a lot of dish soap and scrubbing to get the all of the residue and glue off.

Like the other reviewer, I neglected to look at the size of this toy (my fault). Although, I did notice that the product description says 15 lbs. but the shipping weight is 1.1 oz which seems to be a mistake. I have a Boston Terrier (10 lb.) and it's certainly on the small side for her. She does love the toy, though! She's an avid chewer and she loves treat toys like this. It bounces on our tile floor too and it's pretty funny to watch her chase it. I think I'll stick with larger Orbee toys going forward (they're great), but this one is durable and adorable for smaller pups. I also like that it smells minty and that I can toss it in the dishwasher. It cleans up great!

My labrador seems to like this toy. The hole is a little small, so stuffing it with wet food is out of the question. However, it is the perfect size for her kibble, and it dispenses out at a reasonable rate and not too easily. I contacted the company about a small defect on the toy (worried it might start tearing), and they offered to replace it if it started breaking. As such, this is a company I would buy from again, as they seem to stand behind their product.

My French Bulldog LOVES this toy. I also have to limit time with it or she would not sleep or eat. She will choose this toy over her food and she loves her food....but she loves the raspberry more. I have contacted the company to see if they can make a "tuffer" version for stronger chewers as this is only rated 4 out of 5 for hardness. I don't know what I will do if I can't get them to do it....she is obsessed with this toy and all I have to do is spell R A S P and she KNOWS she gets her toy to play with. I love it! It is adorable to see your dog chewing on a giant berry, and the treat spot is big enough to put little pieces of dog food in there to keep the dog occupied and playing with it. Permethrin is a very effective and non toxic (for humans) insect repellent. It can kill insects but over time as its strength dissipates on the clothing or other area it continues to serve as a repellent. On clothing it can be diluted 20 to 1 for a 0.5% solution and applied with a garden sprayer for a very cheap clothing treatment. I recently us 3oz. of this solution diluted to make 60 ounces of solution and treated 6 pairs of slacks, 5 pairs of shorts, 12 pairs of socks, 8 shirts, and 2 hats at a cost of less than $2 in solution.

Buy this 10% or a stronger concentration and you can treat clothes for pennies. Pre-mix 0.5% spray is more than 20 times the cost of concentrated permethrin.

The spray needs to thoroughly coat the clothing to be effective and it lasts for 6 or more washings or one year, whichever comes first. No reason to apply at a greater strength unless you actually plan to wash the clothes every week over the course of the year.

Effective against ticks and sand fleas (used by US Army in Kuwait, Afghanistan, Iraq, and soon in Libya) to control the disease spread by these insects. With malaria bearing mosquitoes now found in more than 25 states in the US it is a good at home control method as well as being great for use on clothing worn outside the USA.

I have used Pyrethrin many years for general insect control, inside and outside, with great results. In my opinion, it is one of the best natural insecticides available on the market. The reason for 3 stars is that I was not aware of the difference between Pyrethrin and Permethrin, and there is no mention of this anywhere in the product description. When I searched Amazon for Pyrethrin, both products came up leading me to believe they were the same, only labeled differently.

The difference being Pyrethrin is a natural extract from the chrysanthemum plant, and will not harm mammals, fish, or, birds. Permethrin belongs to the family of synthetic chemicals called Pyrethroids. It is extremely toxic to fish and cats, and has been linked to poisoning dogs as a flea/tick repellent. It is not as environmentally safe to use as Pyrethrin. Therefore, it is not the same thing, and I think buyers need to be made aware of this. Permethrin does work very well for general insect control, but I would be very cautious using it on dogs, or livestock for flea/tick and fly control. If you are looking for a "natural" insecticide, pay more for Pyrethrin. Otherwise this is a good product for general insect control, and is certainly less toxic than many commercial insecticide alternatives.

This is a great product. We live on 45 acres and have had problems with fleas, ticks, bull ants, wasps, and spiders. My husband sprays the yard about once a month, I spray the dogs each week and our horses when needed. You can not use it on cats. Our tick problem was so bad we could not walk outside without getting 10 or more ticks on us. We have a lot of deer that walk through our property which was a big part of our problem. It is so nice to go outside in bare feet and not covered with bug spray. I can buy this locally for $22 so this is a good buy. The delivery time was fast too. I have just started using it on dirt dabbers and wasps, works great on them too.

I have been using this product for years. I have two mixes that I use, one for indoors and one for outdoors. I have beaten back black widow spiders, tons of ants, those big black water bugs(cockroaches), fleas galore! I lightly spray indoors when infestation appears and spray outside around the home perimeter monthly. Also spray around the trash cans, BBQ, or anything stationary where bugs might accumulate.
