I bought one of these on Tuesday, it arrived on Wednesday. It worked so well I just ordered six refills and a second unit.

I don't have a very serious flea problem, but it was bad enough that I was willing to try a new product. We have very thick carpet in most of our house, and while spraying and vacuuming gets rid of most of them, enough survive to restart the problem a few months later. I chose this one because another reviewer had put a photo of the sticky-pad covered with fleas. I considered it unlikely that someone had just caught a bunch of fleas and then thrown them onto the trap just to make the product look good. Also, it wasn't terribly expensive so, I gave it a shot...

It is fascinating and disturbing how this thing works. Fleas from all corners of the room (within 30 feet or so) move close to it and just gather around it like it's some kind of shrine to their glorious Flea-God. Eventually, they hop into the glow, thinking they are going to Fleahalla or wherever flea-warriors go when they die...and that's when they land on the sticky pad. They struggle for a few seconds, but every move buries them deeper in the muck and soon they stop, frozen in pain and panic as the dark curtain of death slowly descends. So, in a way, I guess they were right: jumping into the light WILL take you to Fleahalla, but instead of flea-valkaries you get agonizing death on a big sticky-disc.

This product works best in a dark room, where the light is the only source of light and heat available--also, it works better if you and your pets aren't in the room, either. We let it go overnight and in the morning it was choked with fleas. I was going to take a picture of it, but it's just so tragic and disgusting that I don't think I will. Also, the longer you leave it on, the better it works: the fleas do things on their own schedule, so they don't just hop into it all willy-nilly. They wait a while, admire the light, say a prayer to the Flea-God then jump on in. And that's when the dying starts...at least they won't die lonely.

This won't kill all the flea, obviously. Some are smarter than the others, I suppose. Flea geniuses and such. But the product doesn't claim to kill all the fleas, just a lot of them. And dead fleas don't lay eggs, so for every dead flea that's like a million eggs that won't be lain or something...I don't know that much about the flea life cycle. Use this product with an effective flea and egg killer spray, like Mycodex Plus Environmental Control Aerosol Household Spray and it shouldn't be long before your flea troubles are under control.

I must admit I was very skeptical about this, but decided to give it a try out of sheer desperation, and based on the favorable reviews on Amazon. I've got a flea issue with my bedroom carpet, and have tried sprays, continuous vacuuming, boric acid treatments, and dosing my pet with Frontline & Advantage products. While the Advantage works pretty darn well ON the pet, the carpet was still infested no matter what I tried. I plugged in this little contraption on the floor next to my bed, and within TWO HOURS I've already captured 18 fleas, and can actually SEE them hopping across the carpet to get to the trap! I think this is a brilliant, safe, pesticide-free solution to dealing with those pesky little ankle-biting devils that hide in the carpet! I'll continue to vacuum, but I intend to keep this thing plugged in at all times to grab the ones that get away or are newly hatched. Don't hesitate to buy this product!

An earlier review of this product almost made me pass on the purchase, but I'm glad I didn't. I bought 2 and within the first ten hours 40-50 fleas were caught. Moving the traps periodically to new locations appears to be helpful. I plan to get additional traps for other problem areas.

This is a review of the Victor M230 Ultimate Flea Trap. This review shows the results of four traps. Please note that I have never been compelled to write a review for any product I've purchased through Amazon, until now.

In my opinion, the number of fleas caught varies based on placement. Some reviewers mentioned moving their traps to various places with no success. Though I'm not sure why they didn't experience success, you'll see in this video that the product actually does work.

My patio and living room were the most infested. The trap reviews in those areas show the most trapped fleas. The traps used in my home office and the linoleum-floored bathroom (where the cat box and food dish reside) show little-to-no trapped fleas.

I typically keep my home office door closed, which is why there are fewer fleas, thus lower results. I believe the fleas are more pleased with carpet than linoleum, thus the sole-flea result for that trap.

While other reviewers may have experienced low-to-no results, placement *may* be a possible factor. (Operative phrase "may be possible.")

Otherwise, I experienced the same kind of results with the paper plate, water, and dish soap method on the porch. This method was not as effective as the Victor traps within the apartment. The water and soap method didn't attract *any* fleas in my home office or living room, even over a period of 2-3 days. Victor traps produced results overnight.

I have had good luck just taking a shallow pan about the size of an oil pan, or 4qt cook pan, put a little dawn soap in it, add about 2 inches of water, and then suspend a light over it so it shines into the pan. Catches bunches of fleas for practically nothing. I just refill the water once in awhile when it evaporates. Leave the light on day and night, they especially flock to it at night when it's the only light on. It really works!

We have a litter of 12 puppies so in this case bigger is better. However it is impossible to put 12 springer puppies around this bowl it worked great for 6 puppies at 4 weeks then 3 puppies at 6 weeks at which time I switched them to individual bowls. I breed Maine coon kittens and I use this dish to train the babies to eat. They don't all crowd in one spot and walk in the plate like they used to. They arrange themselves around the bowl stay much cleaner. I have another one for the adult cats and they like it too. Cleanup is fast and easy. I have a boxer. He enjoys this toy but I don't see it lasting forever. The internal squeeker stopped working pretty quickly and a few parts have come off. I really wouldn't say my dog is an aggressive chewer.

He still plays with it. It is too light to throw very far but he does like to catch it.

I could see this being a great toy for a small dog but doesn't really work for a larger dog.

For the amount of money spent on this Dog Toy, it certainly didn't hold up like expected. The fabric is THIN making it easy to rip and tare. I ended up covering the ENTIRE Floppy Moppy in denim fabric to keep it from completely falling apart. NOT HAPPY with this product. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!

My dog loves these loofa toys. She's has quite a few toys and her 3 loofa toys are the ones she drags out first and foremost. She's a small (15 pounds) dog and for some reason likes her 24 inch toy best. She's had it forever and after much wrestling and tug of war with it, I've even patched it for her. I bought the other 2 18 inch ones thinking I could use them to get the 24 inch one away from her. No go. Now she keeps a close eye on all 3. Well worth the money, and she wouldn't have so many toys she doesn't play with if I'd have bought the loofas first.

I have noticed that when I use frontline the animals don't freak out and act like it is burning their skin. Whenever I used biospot the animals would freak out and run around afterward, and then have a grease spot on their neck for a week. This doesn't happen with frontline.

I have two cats and two dogs at home. Even tho they never really go out besides the backyard we had a big problem with fleas. I try Frontline and it didn't work at all. I was washing one of my dogs almost everyday and once she had almost a hundred fleas that I picked off her in the shower. Finally my mother-in-law talked about Bio Spot that she had used years ago when my husband was younger and they had dogs and cats at home. For the super low price I bought Bio Spot for all my pets. The amount of product in each "small bottle" is a lot. Way more than other brands we tried before. Right away the pet hair gets grease and it does not have the greatest smell in the world. Still, none of my pets had any bad reaction except my bulldog who would try to wipe it off her back since she can't stand anything with strong smell (like acetone, perfume or anything like that). After a week or so all the fleas were gone! We didn't even have to work that hard to get rid of the fleas that were probably all over the house. After 3 months of using it I found a flea on my dog only a couple of times. I'm ordering more now and I will keep using Bio Spot as long as it keeps the fleas off my pets and house!

I first used BioSpot years ago for my cocker spaniel. She would get hot spots on her skin whenever a flea would bite her and clumps of her hair would fall out. [She was an indoor dog.] The vet would give her a hydrocortisone shot and finally pushed me into using a prescription only flea preventative. At the time, I was still using Hartz spray and flea collars from the grocery store. The flea preventative du jour for his office was Frontline pills. Frontline did nada, but it wouldn't work for her anyway because the only way it kills [adult] fleas and ticks is if they bite into the dog's skin. It didn't do a thing to prevent flea eggs unless the flea ingests the chemical. I needed something to keep them from biting her period. I had to go to another vet to try another pill (Program and then Sentinel) which I later discovered worked the same way although the vet gave me his sales pitch on why pill X is better than pill Y. Next I tried advantage and finally my dog got some relief. Due to her grooming schedule, Advantage proved to be too expensive since you have to reapply after each bath. [During summer she would need baths twice a month or else she would get a really musty doggy smell.]

I ran across Biospot by accident and noticed it had the same ingredients/formula as Advantage. Of course, the ingredients for both products have since changed but Biospot still works just as great and is much more affordable. Since then, it's the only flea and tick preventative I use on my dogs. We've lived as far north as Chicago and as far south as Atlanta. Never a problem. The dog I have now goes to the vet regularly and they have never found a flea on her. The one time I found a tick on her it was dead; pretty good considering the tick was on her stomach but you only have to apply Biospot at the shoulder and near the tail. I would recommend this if you find that Advantage works well for your dog and you want something that KILLS and REPELS fleas, ticks, and mosquitos. Flea pills NEVER repel. Don't buy them if you need them for this purpose.

I got two of these bowls on sale for a drastically reduced price. They really seemed like a great idea, but their first use proved otherwise. My 12 week old puppy quickly managed to dislodge the bowls from the holders. I didn't really care about the mess, but I did get concerned when she managed to get one of the extension arms of the holders lodged in her mouth while she tried to chew on it. Besides that, the prongs sticking out represent a poking threat to her eyes or the rest of her body. I ended up throwing out the holders and keeping the stainless steel bowls. I Only paid about $5/bowl setup, so the stainless bowls were still a reasonable buy.

This is perfect for when you have to crate your dogs for a few hours when you leave the house. It gives our 6 month old puppy and 4 year old dog just enough water until we get home.

It was difficult to detach the bowl the first time, but after that it's been easy. Also, it's very easy to attach to the kennel and once on, it is very secure.

I do recommend filling it while the bowl is already in place to avoid spills.

I plan on getting a larger one for our puppy when she is bigger (she's going to be between 60-80 lbs full grown) but this size is perfect for our adult dog who is 50 lbs.

i have a 6.2lbs alaskan klee kai, and this has worked out perfectly with my 30"H midwest wire crate. i was a little hesitant to buy this bowl (10oz) because of some of the dislodging issues some people had, but i decided the pros outweighed the cons. i honestly have no clue how crazy someone's dog has to be to pull these things out, because i have a hard time sometimes. i believe if your dog is so determined as to getting these out, they must either be a) bored out of their mind or b) hate the crate ... so probably isn't the bowl's fault, per se. however, compared to some other reviewers, i do not see the difficulty of getting the bowl out as a bad thing. i WANT it to be hard to take out since i would rather my dog not poke their eyes out on the holders. if you have a certain method (i.e., stabilizing the holder and rotating the bowl in has worked for me) to get a water-filled bowl in, it's really not that hard to get it out or in with water inside. (even if you don't want to chance it, unscrewing the bowl out isn't even that hard) they are SNAPPY fit, and if it WASN'T hard to get out, i'd be worried.. so i really don't understand why people are complaining about that.

anyway, only bad point for me is that i bought the 10oz thinking it would be plenty, but i have since learned that my puppy is a little camel. might buy the 20oz and use the littler bowl in the travel crate. however, this is not something wrong with the product -only a problem with my guesstimation ;) so five stars all the way. definitely what i was hoping for with crate bowls.

p.s. also, this *reduces* all the water spilled when my dog runs around and tips the bowl. i might get some piddles from her lapping it up messily, but i dont have PUDDLES of water from her tipping a massive bowl. awesome.

I recently rescued a kitten who was injured by a car. Due to his injuries the Vet requested he be put in a kennel during the days to hinder his movements and increase his rest time. I was afraid to just put food and water dishes on the floor of the kennel where he could tip them over and be stuck laying in his wet soggy food. I saw these online and thought they would be a good solution. They work wonderfully and I love being able to just pull them out and snap them back in without unhooking the whole thing. They only thing I do not like is the water splashes when it snaps back in. But as long as you snap the bowl on and then fill the dish with water from another container it isn't a problem. And I love that they are stainless steel and very sturdy. The kitten is no longer kept in the kennel, but he still uses it as a refuge/bed and of course his still uses these bowls. Great Buy if you kennel your dog or cat.

Once a very kind lady informed me that Avon's Skin so Soft would remove the inside sticker, this bowl became a hit. It rocks! I don't even have any trouble filling it and snapping it in the kennel as is. Although, I do agree that filling it after you attach it is smarter.

My dogs get really snarky if this bowl doesn't stay filled at all time. I've gotten racks for their bowls but they're never quite the right height from the ground. Apparently this one is because they line up when it's empty even though there's a perfectly good bowl sitting not two feet away that's full of clean, sparkly water.

Sigh. I guess I'll buy another one.

This crate was a good bargain on Amazon. It is an odd color, but most pets dont really care. It has cheaply made plastic hinges that you have to install correctly to make it easy to open gated entrance. It also has extra hinges in case they break. It does serve the purpose of allowing your pet to sleep in or be transported as long as you put the hinges in correctly and make sure they are latched.

I have rather large cats between 8-13 lbs. For 3 minute drives to the vet, I can cram them in this tiny crate and they survive. I wouldn't use it for the bigger ones for long rides.

It's way easier to carry than the average small crates, which are significantly larger than this. The pieces are cheap plastic, but they function just fine. It came with an extra latch, so I guess they expect one to break eventually? It does have slots for a seat belt, but I'd be afraid they might chip since they are just plastic.

It would be very easy to remove the top, for cats that won't come out of their crates at the vet. And you can take off the whole front door easily also.

I would consider this a nice value at $12-$15. But at twice that much, I wouldn't buy another.

These belly bands are fabulous, and exactly what I need. I have a male Pomeranian, and he is not incontinent, simply evil. He was neutered at 6 months, but still insists on marking EVERYTHING. That's where these come in. I love these belly bands; they are comfortable and soft, yet the velcro is strong enough that no amount of devil-wiggling by my naughty dog can get them off. I line them with lady's feminine pads, and the extra absorbency is perfect. The ONLY issue I have is that the small is a bit too tight when his full coat is in (Poms have a very fluffy double coat) and the medium is a bit too big. However, I adjust by using a thicker pad on the medium, and a thin pad on the small, and it works out pretty well. Unlike the belly bands with elastic in them, this does not pinch or bruise my devil-baby's tummy skin, and he likes the pretty colors in which they are available. He has brown, blue, and the Sharks, the Sharks (of course!) being his favorite. Four Paws up for PlayaPup Belly Bands! Ooh, and great price too!

I have a 14-year-old male Chihuahua who likes to mark his territory on my furniture! It has been driving me crazy for years and I didn't know what to do. A few months ago I bought him the dog diapers that have a loop for the tail but even the smallest of these never fit right and he managed to wiggle out of them. These belly bands work great and stay in place! He's 4.2 lbs and I bought the xxs. He's jumping around and playing as usual in it which makes me very happy I think because his tail is free and he doesn't feel completely confined. This belly band has been a life saver for me, and my ancient old dog.

He's on strong diuretic meds for congestive heart failure, which results in him drinking/peeing 3 times more than normal. Poor old thing has a slow leak while sleeping now, and wakes up covered in pee, as do all the towels covering his bed. He was always quite stinky within a day of a bath, until I found this band.

Now with a maxi pad stuck in this band (overnight pad with wings works best), my house and dog are pee free!

He even sleeps better at nights now, not waking up wet anymore.

I did notice the small was a little too small for my 16 pound poodle, until I tumble dried it on medium for about 5 mins (label says 'don't tumble dry', I realized later). But now it's slightly larger, and fits perfectly!

My 10 year old 4 lb Yorkie has been peeing everywhere and I had bought the belly band so he didn't have to always be locked up in his tiled area at home. The XXS definitely holds in the pee IF you use pads with wings. Small panty liners without wings don't cut it and the band gets soaked. So if you use pads with wings on the XXS, the wings pretty much cover up the cute little shark design (by the way, the manufacturers cut the small piece fabric so NO cute shark was even showing since the band was so small no big deal, just disappointing).

What I wasn't prepared for when I purchased this was the fact that my dog's fur would be urine soaked every time I took off the band. I didn't want to leave it on at all times to prevent UTI's. He pretty much always smelled of urine and I had to bathe him all the time. He also would freak out about the velcro everytime I took it off since the velcro would tear his fur off.

On the plus side, he hated the band so much, that I have since stopped using it. He hasn't marked in the house in weeks!

PROs: Secure, holds in urine if you use a pad with wings, possibly deterred my dog from marking for fear that I would put it back on him!

CONs: Velcro sticks to fur, urine soaked/stinky fur

We have three dogs who are very demanding, and discerning, diners. As such, we are forced to provide the highest quality, and apparently tastiest food and treats available if we hope to keep them happy and quash any thoughts of a hunger strike. Fortunately, we've finally found the one treat that they 1) never tire of, and 2) prefer to all others. The size of the treats are not too small and not too big for smaller dogs, and a 12 oz bag seems to last almost two weeks for three dogs getting treats several times a day. I'm not a fan of venison, but these treats smell good to me, like regular jerky that you would buy in the store smells, only better. I'm almost tempted to eat one myself!

I'd actually give these treats 4.5 stars, only because my dog happens to like the Real Meat Fish and Venison version a bit better. I'm training my dog not to chase cats when we are out walking. These treats get her attention and get her to focus on the treat and me and not the cat. They are thin, maybe 1" or so square (although some are larger) and can easily be broken (ripped) into smaller pieces so they can go a long way. They aren't greasy to the touch which is nice as well and stay fresh in the reclosable bag.

I've tried other brands but these work better for getting her attention and getting her to come when called. I will definitely purchase them again.

I added the kennel cover to my dogs kennel a few days ago. The installation was quick and almost full proof until I started to add the tarp to it. The tarp wouldn't fit down over the top of it and was very snug. I checked all of the fittings to see if I didn't over compensate the size on the kennel when putting the tubing together. Everything fit properly and nothing needed adjustment.

I have it tied in place for now but the tarp doesn't come all the way down. There is about a one inch gap in the front of the kennel.

It works and keeps her dry. But it's not all that I imagined it would be.

It fits well, works great! Sometimes when it rains, the water drains off the side and into the edges of the kennel, but the middle still stays dry which our dogs appreciate!

This car seat for our 2 Yorkies is one of the best purchases we've made for them. I feel confident that when used with the special car harnesses, that they would be safely contained if we ever had to come to a sudden stop. The car harness is key because the anchor point is low on the back as opposed to being higher up near their shoulder blades. Here are a couple videos with more information.Plus it's safer for me not having to worry and look back to check on them all the time. They get to sit up and see out the windows or take a nap on the plush pillow top pad. My larger yorkie (12lbs) loves to rest his head off the edge. My little one (4lbs) used to have anxiety when riding in the car-he would start panting like crazy-now, when he's in the car seat, he is calm and usually just lays down to relax :) There is plenty of room for the 2 dogs to sprawl out. We would even have room for maybe a 3rd someday! That is why we purchased the large one, so we would have some room to grow. It does take up one entire seat plus the middle seat, so keep that in mind when choosing a size. We have a small suv, so that wasn't a problem for us at all.

There is also a small drawer under the flap in the front. Enough to keep some treats, food, bags etc. I also purchased the wire feeder that has two compartments with lids or food and water. (I mainly use it for water only, as my dogs will not eat in the car) It is very well made. It's like a mini couch, but just not as heavy. Sometimes, when we are at hotels, we will bring the seat in and they use it as a couch too.

I have a dog that has anxiety issues and traveling in the car has always involved vomit and pee. This car seat allows him to see me while sitting next to his brother and see where we are going. He is secure and safe. He still doesn't like getting in the car, but he lays down on the bed and shows no signs of panic. It has been wonderful!

Picked this up for a planned 2 week car trip. It was just what we wanted. Our 16 pound Yorkshire/Westie mix took to it right away. I feel good knowing that he is secure and safe. The seat belt wraps aroound the back of the bed and is secure. The provided leash/cable loops over seatbelt and you can then hook to your dogs harness. We got the large and it gives him a lot of room, plenty of space for him to move about and get comfortable. It also became his bed inside the hotel rooms. When we got home from the trip and had the bed in our apartment he actually jumped into it and took a nap.

This is the best carseat. I just bought a second one, slightly smaller. My furbaby loves being able to see out of the window. I also feel better that she is secure if we were ever to be in an accident. LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My shepherd puppy loved this toy for a few minutes until I noticed fiberfill stuffing ocming out of the body of the "man".

Fun toy, certainly not durable and therefore not worth the money for a few minutes of interactive play :(

The dog loves this toy.. . It has good durable material that you can play with outside and it's easy to wipe off to clean if you wanted to take it in and out doors. I will say only buy it if you have a large dog, this toy is not for small dogs because it is hard too hard for them to squeak and they could get tangled in the rope carrying it around. Perfect large dog toy!
