The collars from Dublin Dog are awesome! They're beyond functional and super stylish at the same time. We have multiple collars from DD for our two dogs. We love to take them swimming in the lake nearby and it's so convenient to let them off their leashes and dive into the water and then literally wipe off the collar when they're done. No damp cloth collar to dry or worry about that nasty mildew smell... Works great also when they play in the woods and get a little muddy just run it under water with some soap and it wipes right off and dries with a towel in two seconds. And when I say stylish we get tons of compliments on these collars! I'm a little obsessed, but I have collars for each "season/holiday" for the dogs and get compliments every time I change the collars on them. They're a great buy as they're so durable, functional, and stylish!

The collar is a nice plastic that is easy to clean by just rinsing it. Another plus, is that it is great for the dog to go swimming in. The problems with the collar include that the plastic is too thick and is very bulky on my smaller dog (Jack Russell Terrier). Also the ring to attach the leash to is too small, and it is very difficult to clip on a leash. If these things were fixed it would be a great collar.

I have very high energy actvie dogs. My dogs love the water in the summer. We were having constant difficulty with having to wash thier nylon collars after they had been in the water and they would still stink. This collar is really cute and so far has not gotten dirty or smelly. Love the design and the fit is perfect. I will be buying more of these collar's.

the company should really tell you if you are buying a shirt for a boy or a girl dog. it sounds silly but i put the on my male dog and when i let him outside, he peed all over it. yes it is washable but that is not the point. this item is only for female dogs.

basically crap..if you live in arizona or southern california this would be perfect..it does run small and the material is kinda cheap..i love hoodies for my dogs I ordered a large for a 32 lb boston terrier with a deep chest and it was way small...he measures 18 inches from neck to base of tail I had to send it back..the PINK camo AND the GREEN camo were AMAZING though, thick soft warm material.. true to size large fits my female same size as male..so if you have a girl dog (or do not mind your male dog in pink) the pink camo is better quality .. the black camo and the blue camo are cheaper quality..the green camo is same material as the pink one and is worth the $$ too!

I've bred and shown Shelties for a number of years. I prefer this collar to all others for training; it's much safer than a regular choke collar but offers some of the same precise feedback and control for the dog. In addition, a puppy or "balky" dog can't back up and literally back out of this collar. It's lightweight, and I actually like the metal chain "live ring" section better than the all-nylon martingales. It's easier to see what you're doing and where to hook the leash; there's no question as to which section goes over the dog's head; and the links are a lot more flexible than the straight nylon, especially in the larger sizes. A winner.

The collar looked nice when it was new, but after a couple of months the chrome finish started to flake off and the fur on my dog's neck was turning black from the chain rubbing on it -even though the collar was not too tight. Decided to go with a martingale collar without the chain.

This is a great training collar much better than the chocker chain, the nylon gives the dog protection around his neck and the chain provides what you need to correct them. As for sizing the medium is more than enough for a large dog I have a German Shepherd 80lbs fits great with room to make bigger, I did have a large one but it was way to big and couldn't make it small enough to fit correctly, medium will fit most big dogs.

My trainer told me about this product, and after a month's use I can report that it is terrific. The collar looks and feels like quality and looks nice on my Golden.

When adjusted properly it doesn't choke (it does tighten), it makes a sound reminding/conditioning them to pay attention, and it won't fall off.

This type of collar was new to me. These are also called greyhound or humane collars. We have a Sheltie, and her head is small in relation to her neck, so she can pull her head right out of anything but a choke collar or a halter. The Martingale collar pulls tight when needed, but is more comfortable for the dog because most of the collar is made of fabric instead of chain. This works like a charm, and would have also been great for my miniature pinscher (skinny neck, small head).

Update: she did pull her head out of the collar once, at just the right angle when the collar was relaxed. I still like the style much better than a choke chain.

I have a 3 1/2 year old Boxer that barks, cries, whines, and howls when I go to work...ALL DAY...I know, I recorded it. I went to Petsmart and picked up this gadget. Brought it home and it the manual correct button. She bolted. She hates the ultrasonic noise that it makes. It reduced the amount of noise that my dog makes but only in a certain area and I don't crate my dog when I'm going to be away for more than 8 hours.

So if I'm just running out for a few hours I stick her in her crate with this right in front of her but if I'm going to work I use it in conjunction with the petsafe electric shock bark collar.

My girlfriends dog does not really notice it if he's otherwise engaged but my dog hates it. Worth the price in my opinion. Best advice is to take it home and try it. Some dogs react to it. Others don't.

Admittedly we have only had it for a few days, but our dogs responded at once. We had trouble for years with them barking when someone was leaving the house (even though other people were still in the house!) or when visitors or delivery people arrived. Every arrival and departure was a major event, noisewise. If one dog started to bark, the other one felt compelled to join in. We tried other measures to control the excessive barking, but to no avail. This device worked instantly. The dogs bark once or twice, CLEARLY hear the sound although we can't, and stop barking immediately. The house has never been so quiet! Our dogs are Pembroke Welsh Corgis, a breed which is known to have sensitive hearing, and when used to herd are trained using whistled commands. I noticed from reading other reviews in which people mentioned their breed of dog that other herding dogs (like German Shepherds) seem more apt to respond, whereas non-herding breeds (like terriers) may be less responsive...no proof, just an impression from my research.

Update on Feb. 22, 2008. This product continues to work well, and our dogs have adjusted to it. Initially they were a little cowed and appeared distressed by what, to them, must be a very unpleasant noise, but they quickly learned that one bark was OK, two was a no-no, and a gentle woof (if they really needed to make a noise, which they occasionally feel they must do as part of their duty to the family) wouldn't set off the alarm. Today it snowed here, and our neighbor plowed our long driveway, which is normally a very noisy affair, dogwise, but there were only a couple of subdued "woofs" as the dogs did their jobs of alerting us to what they perceive to be an intruder on the property and then went back to sleep, rather than continuing to bark until they exhausted themselves, and us. Our house has never been so quiet! I am delighted with this product, and very happy that our dogs have adjusted to it so quickly, and am amazed at how quickly they figured out how to "express themselves" discreetly, when they need to, without going overboard and driving us all crazy! Of course, corgis are pretty intelligent and trainable dogs, and I am as impressed with the breed as I am with the product!

I got one of these two years ago in the hopes that I wouldnt have to get a bark collar for ach of my two dogs. I work during the day so my dogs are alone in a dog run both and have run of the house through a doggy door. They were barking during they day while we were gone (Neighbors informed us). I bought one of these and the neighbors said the barking cut WAY down.

I brought it inside on the weekend to watch and see what happened when the mailman came..... it worked great, they would start to bark and the high pitch would chime in and they would stop. Then the high pitch would stop. Then they started back up again and the pitch would start again and they would stop. I guess if you have persistent dogs this wont work well. For mine it cut the barking down to a fraction of what they used to do. It isnt an end all, but definatley helped my dogs constant barking.

After a little over a week of trying to puppy litter train my puppy she just wasn't getting it. My puppy is an American Eskimo they are very intelligent but also can be VERY stubborn. The first couple of days we tried just putting her in the potty but she didn't want to use it. I had read to try putting a box around the litter so they aren't able to run off and play when it's potty time. So we tried that the second half of the week Well my puppy ended up just playing IN the potty and even laying down to nap and our theory is that she ended up seeing it just like a second crate and so she did not want to potty in it (she loves her crate and was crate trained from the.first.night.)

So THEN we bought a puppy pad (didn't work she tore it up) and this spray. We also removed the litterbox from the surrounding box and tried just putting it out on the floor again.. She went in the litter box, sniffed, circled twice, and started going in her potty..! For the first time..! (She had gone a couple of times "finishing" after we caught her but that was very rare usually she would just hold it and run off and go somewhere else 2 minutes later). Since then she has only had 1 urine accident I think she was just overly excited and about 60% of the time she is going number 2 in her potty as well (this spray only teaches them to go #1). In a short while she should be 100% trained on number 2 as well.

My dog went from 0-80 like *that* and I truly was amazed with this product. From reading the reviews [..] I have noticed those that had trouble with the product were those using the pads. The pads already have a scent so it probably confuses them even more. Also I spray alot and I spray more a few times a day just to make sure.. I reccomend trying with the litter if the pads or pads + spray are not working. They still like to chew on the litter but the pads they love to DESTROY and rip to shreds instead of going potty on them lol.

Also another tip if your dog doesn't take to it the first time don't give up maybe they don't even have to go at the moment or they could just be a slow learner.

May work for some dogs but not mine.

I own a Chihuahua, btw.

I sprayed her pad area. She sniffed but it didn't really help her to go in a specific spot.

I ended up training her without it.

I do think you'd be better off buying a house-breaking or puppy manual book.

I just:

Was attentive and patient. If you can't watch the dog then you won't be able to correct it. How then will the dog be trained?

Put her in her spot and give her treats/praise profusely when she goes in the right area. My 'Mimi Rose' learns very quickly when treats are involved. She learned how to 'sit' in a single 20-minute session! No joke.

Positive reinforcement always works.

Verbally corrected when I saw her do her business in the wrong spot. Don't scream at or hit the dog. Just say, 'No' in a firm voice and/or clap your hands.

Cleaned the soiling spots with vinegar to remove scent.

Placed her on a feeding/water schedule until she was housebroken. She eats 3 times a day. Her dinner is at 8pm. Her bedtime is at 11 pm.

Implemented crate-training and fenced her off in 'play areas'. An untrained dog has NO business having free run of the house.

She got it before long.

My pup still runs towards me when she does her business in the correct spot expecting a treat.

I tried multiple times. Does not work as stated. Works for older dogs that need to be trained but the idea is flawed. They will go where you spray it, but will go everywhere else too. It really depends on the dog/puppy. May or may not work. Worth a try.

Brought this to hold a pile of thinner foam beds together into one stack. Used to just pile them three high, but then they would slide around. Not any more! Duvet is very sturdy, zipper is holding up fine, washes/dries well, but fades some. I do not like the texture of the fabric. It's a thick, rough feeling cotton duck-type material which attracts and holds fur and dog toy fuzz. It is fairly difficult to remove fur/fuzz when vacuuming. I would buy again, but maybe in a lighter color, so the chronic fur/fuzz problem wouldn't be so noticeable.

This is a really great idea... you just order the cover and inner cover and fill it with whatever you have around the house. I had an old down blanket I didn't like anymore and some other old clothes and it makes a perfect dog bed. You can remove the cover and throw it in the wash. You can also get other covers for it and just interchange them. And ... its huge!

I lost our former flea comb somehow a while back.

Both our cats are indoor only cats, and we have never had a flea problem.

However, that doesn't mean it is impossible, so I do like to comb through

them from time to time.

I bought this one, thinking it looked very sturdy and would be harder to lose!

I have other tools by this company, so expected good quality.

My first problem with it is that it is HEAVY. As in, uncomfortable to hold

for long periods of time. It isn't as much fun to brush them when it makes my hand ache.

The second problem was that the comb I got had a couple bent teeth.

The bent teeth pull hair for the cats. I can't get them completely broken off, and

it wasn't worth spending the postage to send it back for another one.

Someone should have been looking when they sent it out, and saw that it was flawed.

So, I sadly cannot recommend this flea comb.

Again, it is sturdy, but it isn't comfortable for my small female hand to hold

for very long.

My Lulu is signed up for a training class and as luck would have it, she will still be in her heat during the first class. I wanted something cute but these just aren't suitable for large dogs at all. They "might" work for a small dog but its to difficult to get it on a medium sized German Shepherd. Also these arent a durable material at all. By the time I got them on her there was a rip in the fabric at the seam. They are made of normal light weight fabric that a woman's panties might be made of.

I would return them but the card inside says they must be in normal resell-able unused condition and because I tried them on her (only to discover they are cheaply made) they are now used and therefore nonreturnable. Waste of money and wasted time. Now I have to spend my weekend going to every doggie store looking for XL dog diaper before Monday.

My female chihuahua is almost 17 and has been randomly wetting during the night and sometimes when I have to leave her to go to work. I stick a "Depends" type pad for people in these panties and problem is solved. The suspenders keep her from wiggling out and the panties keep the pad in place for her to go when she needs to. I had tried the doggie diapers but she wiggles out of them no matter how tight I try to put them on her. I was also going to pen her in during the night and put pee pads down, but then that confines her from walking around like she is used to doing. This product gives us both freedom. I gave this to my german shepherd puppy immediately after receiving it yesterday. While handing it to him, he jerked it out of my hand and I was left with two little frog legs in my hand. I threw the legs away but I do not think this dog toy that is so poorly crafted will last long.

I have a Boston Terrier with powerful jaws and an innate desire to chew things to pieces. I feel fairly comfortable that, given enough time, she could chew her way through the door of a bank vault. So, I'm always looking for toys that will last more than a day or two with her.

Here's what you need to know about these toys: the central braid that makes up the body of the toy is very strong and durable. The arms and legs can be tugged out by a moderately strong or dedicated dog in under a week. The head (which is full of stuffing), can get shredded in one day. What this means is that if you want a toy that looks like an animal for it's lifespan, this is probably not for you. In the other hand, if you don't mind the extremities getting removed, you do end up with a very strong braided cord.

I've had three of these. Only one of them has been completely destroyed. The other two are in various states of dismemberment, but are still great tugging/throwing toys, despite my Boston's best efforts to go "The Walking Dead" on them.

For dogs that are not as crazy about persistent chewing than a Boston, these probably have a much longer lifespan. Personally, I think this is a good toy for a rough dog as long as you don't mind the fact that it will quickly look mangled.
