Great product! I taught my puppy how to use this in one day. I did say use, she learned how to press the button on command. It took about two weeks to get her to push the bell to go outside. Patience is key when training your dog with this. It works like a charm now! Actually the dog not only uses the bell to let us know that she has to go out, she presses it when she feels like she is not getting enough attention! Sometimes it backfires, but it is pretty funny! I would recommend this product.

I found this product while looking for a bell to hang by the door for my dog. Ours is a sliding glass door with no knob, so this looked like a good option. After reading all the reviews for the Tell Bell and all the reviews for the Koolatron pet doorbell set, I realized I already had something that might work: the Staples Easy Button, which is available on Amazon for $9.98. It works basically the same way as the other products; it just says "that was easy" when my dog steps on it, is battery powered and does not require a transmitter/receiver. It also has 4 rubber feet on the bottom, which helps it stay in place on our tile floor. My 11 week old Airedale Terrier puppy, after a few minutes of "clicker training" (books, videos and clickers also available on Amazon) learned to use it today. Granted, that probably wasn't how the other products instruction manuals suggested training your dog, but it seems to have worked for us. Now to get him to figure out to only step on the button when he needs out to do his business, not just for fun and treats! I think he'll get it in no time. If you're really enterprising and would like to customize what the recording says, I also found a great web site that gives step-by-step instructions on how to record your own ("gotta go, gotta go," "Rover needs out," "Oo, oo, oo," or whatever). See . If I hadn't already had one of these, I probably would have gone with the Tell Bell.

over all works great but did take some adjusting for the dog to get used to. batteries last surprisingly long amount of time in the cold months

Cons: i wish the whole unit was a button b/c our dog had trouble pressing the one specific place

and in really cold weather (South Dakota gets into the negatives a lot) the outside unit (we have one both inside and out) tends to freeze up which stinks for our dog who is stuck outside for a little longer until we realize what is going on. just something to think about if you live in a blizzardy tundra but this doesn't happen often.

and it could be a little less cheesy but what do you do overall product works great our dog loves it and overall I love it!

As cute as this is and it is such a good idea, just don't waste your money. We have 6 paws and 3 receivers as we kept replacing them as they are unreliable. We were desperate to keep the giant Newfoundland from jumping and scratching the wood door to get in. All the problems others talk of we had too, paw sticks, doesn't work reliably in cold WI winter, grit may inhibit depressing paw. Since our dog's paw is soooo big she had no problem hitting the unit. She learned quick too. I've got to find another answer now as we just painted the doors.

The main issue for us is for the dog to let us know when she wants to come back in the house without knocking and destroying the door. It has to be something that we can hear while we are in other areas of the house. If you have any ideas let me know. Thanks and woof woof!

This is complete rubbish. I bought it from Walmart so was at least able to return it when it didn't work.

I took it out of the package, installed the batteries, and the button worked about 5 times. Then it stopped making the receiver chime, although I had not moved it. Then suddenly, out of the blue, the receiver began chiming non-stop for no reason. That stopped but then it would just randomly go off until I finally removed the batteries and returned it.

The paw is cute, but it is light and my dog would wind up moving it all over. Also, my dog is trained to touch on command, but she had trouble with the idea that she had to touch only in one specific part of the paw. That I could have worked out, if the bell had worked, but it still seems like poor design.

I needed something weather proof, which is why I tried this despite many bad reviews. If you just want to train your dog to ring something to go outside, then I recommend a very simple non-mechanical bell. My dog is trained to ring some windchimes that hang on a hook next to the door and that works wonderfully. The problem I have is training her out of scratching at the glass door to come back in. I have now purchased a $19 wireless doorbell at Ace Hardware that rings loudly and consistently and stuck the push button onto a rock to make it heavy. It's a small target to push, but that just means some extra training time. At least it works.

I have a boxer. He enjoys this toy but I don't see it lasting forever. The internal squeeker stopped working pretty quickly and a few parts have come off. I really wouldn't say my dog is an aggressive chewer.

I could see this being a great toy for a small dog but doesn't really work for a larger dog.

For the amount of money spent on this Dog Toy, it certainly didn't hold up like expected. The fabric is THIN making it easy to rip and tare. I ended up covering the ENTIRE Floppy Moppy in denim fabric to keep it from completely falling apart. NOT HAPPY with this product. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!

My dog loves these loofa toys. She's has quite a few toys and her 3 loofa toys are the ones she drags out first and foremost. She's a small (15 pounds) dog and for some reason likes her 24 inch toy best. She's had it forever and after much wrestling and tug of war with it, I've even patched it for her. I bought the other 2 18 inch ones thinking I could use them to get the 24 inch one away from her. No go. Now she keeps a close eye on all 3. Well worth the money, and she wouldn't have so many toys she doesn't play with if I'd have bought the loofas first.

I have several acres that are heavily wooded and lots of ticks!. When we tried frontline we had ticks all over the house. The vet suggested certifect. Works great. The ticks die on our dog and are not in the house anymore. It does have a strong smell, but it does not seem to last. We have not noticed any side effects. We have not seen any flees on her. I highly recommend this product.

I purchased this item today from the vet since my dog has been getting Tics and frontline does not appear to be working. I put it on as directed and it has left a strong odor. I put it on my dog 3 hours ago and the toxic smell has permeated my entire house. My dog is usually happyenergetic, wags tail, playful, etc. Since I put it on he has followed me around the house only sleeping. The box says a side effect can be lethargic. this product has encouraged me to finally seek natural products, i buy organic non pesticide products for myself, why not for my dog. I would not recommend this product.

I was looking for a dog chew for a labrador retriever puppy, and bought this on a whim. It turned out to be a favorite of the dog, and it is the one chew toy that is always in her crate. It also is the one chew toy that always goes with her whenever she is kenneled--sort of her 'security blanket.' This does wear out after a while (eventually one of the ends will get largely chewed off, which is the time to replace it), and I couldn't find it in any of our local pet stores. Since this is now the one vital toy for her, I ended up finding it through Amazon and ordered several. I have since found an independent pet store that carries it.

So if you are looking for a durable chew toy that will keep your dog's interest, and the Nylabone isn't doing it, you may definitely want to give this a try.

This is by far my dogs favorite toy. Whenever i throw it in the basket of toys it's back out within the hour. She does chew it up, although she does not swallow the pieces. She is the kind of dog that her main goal is to get the squeaker out of the toy as soon as possible. She is on her second one now. The first one i got when she was a puppy, and it lasted her a long time. The second i moved up a size but its almost tore up (about a month). I will move up to the large on the next one. Her teeth are sparkling white too (she is just under a year so that may be normal anyway)

We have never been able to keep our small, male dog from urinating in the house. He'll go in the house even with the back door wide open! Even when we put wee pads in his favorite indoor spots, he'd use those AND find new places to go. We couldn't set anything on the floor, had to take up all rugs and carpets, continuously wipe down or wash furniture. We then tried various types and brands of diapers and "male wraps." Most slipped or leaked (even when we inserted sanitary pads in them) so that they did not contain the urine, and none really fit him comfortably or well. Finally we tried the Tinkle Belt, and it worked! It fits him very well and he seems not to even notice it's on (in others he'd walk sideways, or refuse to walk at all). A sanitary pad fits perfectly in it, and it covers without slipping.

It also seems to be the only thing so far that has given him a clue about housetraining! We take it off when he goes outside, and put it on him at all times when he is inside. When we first put it on, he wet it frequently. After a couple of days, we noticed it was dry more than it was wet. It seems that he doesn't like to feel wet, and so is learning to wait to go outside. Yay!

We liked the first belt we ordered so much that we decided to order a couple of spare belts. I accidentally ordered the wrong size, and when I asked to exchange or return and reorder in the right size, the seller offered to send the right size and asked that I donate the too-small belts I'd mistakenly ordered to the humane society in hopes of helping dogs with elimination problems keep or find homes.

This lil belt has suceeded in keeping me sane after another Pom taught mine how to "mark"! He isn't fixed yet because his testes haven't dropped (vet wants to wait til he's a yr and a half old) so I put on his tinkle belt and he is good to go! I just remove it whenever he wants to go outside and before being crated or going to bed. He loves it too which is pretty odd!! My furniture and carpet are saved and my husband is happy! I have a 17 year old male dog who is amazingly hanging in there, except for his frequent urination. No matter how often we take him out he cannot hold his bladder. Most of the time he doesn't even realize he's going. He'll be walking across the living room while peeing and not even realize it. We were so tired of cleaning up urine in our newly remodeled home that our poor dog had to keep being kenneled. I read all the reviews of this product and decided to give it a try. I AM AMAZED AND VERY THANKFUL FOR THESE BELTS. I ordered one and within 2 hours (and one pee incident which stayed in the belt, no need to clean the floor again!) We adopted a Bichon who is a marker. We didn't realize it until it was too late and had to have a sofa recovered! We were at our wits end as there is not stopping our dog's behavior except having him on a lease 24/7. That isn't an option, obviously. I have purchased several other kinds of pads, belts, etc. and this brand is by far my favorite. I just placed an order for 6 more so I have a clean one daily or as needed. I put a Poise pad in each one to help absorb. He still marks everyday but at least now it doesn't get on anything. The Tinkle Belts are soft and easy to wash and dry. The DO SHRINK!! I originally ordered a medium, but after being in the dryer it is now too small around to put a pad in it. The mediums can be used alone, but a pad is better for our dog. I have now gone up to the large size (even though he measured a medium). He is a 20 lb. Bichon/Poodle mix and the large are perfect. They wash up nicely and are soft and easy to put on and take off. I would highly recommend these to anyone with a doggie with "issues".

I have 2 Chihuahua do their business indoors and I've been searching for absorbent and not too expensive dog pads for a long time. The cheaper priced pads are normally very thin, leak, and the urine spread all over and wasteful in the end. These pads are absorbent yet the pee doesn't spread as the other brands. It's easier for me to clean up. The price is reasonable too. Totally worth it. You won't be disappointed. I don't. I highly recommend this.

My dog has a bladder infection so started to pee multiple times on the carpet in my guest room. I first used the enzyme-based pet cleaners sold at the pet stores but no luck. I ordered this product through Amazon and used it in my carpet cleaner which was diluted per the instructions. I allowed the dilution to soak into the carpet for about 20 minutes then used the carpet cleaner to suck out the fluid. Upon drying, I just couldn't believe that all the smelly odors (the pet enzyme cleaner has its own fragrance that I also wanted eliminated) DISAPPEARED!! UNBELIEVABLE! I took the chance to use it on my carpet because it was not mentioned on the bottle but was going to have to toss the carpet anyway. AM SO THRILLED AND DELIGHTED!! Have also used it outdoors to kill doggie orders outside as well just used a garden sprayer. Again, odors were gonzo!

The side of my house doesnt get much sunlight and it was starting to smell as it didn't dry up. I read the reviews on this product and decided to try it, I'm glad i did. This product does everything its stated to do. I purchased a one gallon sprayer and mixed the 1/4 oz per gallon mixture, applied it and went to sleep. I awoke the next morning and had no smell at all. It has been a few days now and i gave it another application and guess what, no smell. This stuff truly works miracles. Wow! Just wow! The vet suggested we purchase KOE after one of our aging cats had been urinating on the dining room rug. No matter what we used before, the smell still lingered in the air and we could smell it again after being out of the house for a few hours. We thought for sure we'd have to throw the rug out. It was so bad one of our dogs became confused and had also started to mark the furniture.

After applying KOE, that wasn't the case. The odor is completely gone. Even after coming home after work, you come in our house and can't smell one trace of it. With the odor gone, the dog also stopped marking the furniture. Though we lost our cat to old age, KOE saved us a ton of money and frustration.

We also put some in a spray bottle and used it to freshen the furniture, and we washed the dogs' crate blankets with it. Odor gone! I would highly recommend this product to anyone with cats or dogs, and I will definitely keep buying it for our home!

This is not a dog bed. There isn't any cushion to this item. It is a dog mat. It does have a water proof backing and a chenille type material on top. I thought I was buying a bed but what I got was a cage mat to lay on the bottom of my dogs crate. If you are looking for a bed, don't buy this item. Back in 2007 I purchased (here is the exact title of the description that I copied from my Amazon order listed under my account) a " Precision Pet SnooZZy Sleeper Bed, Medium/Large 4000, 35" x 23", Black (Pet Supplies)" As you can see, 4 years ago it was listed as a PET BED not a MAT. I am glad the manufacturer changed the item description because it is indeed a mat, not a bed which is why I gave it three stars instead of 5. If I knew it was a MAT at the time I was looking to purchase a pet bed I would not have bought it because I was not looking for a mat. With that said, the quality of this mat is very good. So if you are looking for a mat I would definitely get this mat for your pet. I guess my review caused the manufacturer to change the name of the product which is good for all of you looking to purchase either a mat or bed for your pet. At least you won't get something you weren't looking to buy which is what happened to me back in '07.

This item is not so much a pet bed as a mat, and a small one at that. If you are considering it for a dog, before buying it, you may want to measure how much space your dog takes up when resting. For a single cat, or even two, the size is good.

The top side is a fluffy surface. The reverse is plain, with closely spaced small dots of rubberized material. To some degree, it stays in place--especially if placed on top of a non-slippery surface, such as an upholstered piece of furniture. On something slippery, it tends to buckle and/or wrinkle as the animal moves about.

DOWN SIDE: There is no real insulating layer between the pet and a surface such as a tile/concrete/other hard surface floor.

UP SIDE: This mat is easily transported. If you want to define a place for a small dog to stay when you visit friends or family, this may serve your purpose. (We used ours during obedience training classes.) It washes easily on the gentle cycle.

OTHER USES: Works as a liner for a kennel. (Use a folder towel underneath as padding for comfort.) Also useful as an easy-to-wash inside liner for a cushioned pet bed.

This is nothing more than a rectangle of black plush fabric. There are no raised edges on it to give the pet a feel of it being a "bed". I really wish they had an image of this before I bought it, but hopefully this review will prevent any of you from making the same mistake.

This would serve OK as a mat inside a pet carrier or dog house and will suit UP TO a medium size dog. It IS only $5, but whether or not that is worth it is up to you. I reckon a scrap from a fabric store would be just about as sufficient.

INDOORS IS BEST but if you have a kitty (like the stray who took up residence in my yard) who simply can't be converted to the indoor life no matter how hard you try, this is a GREAT product!!!

Taffy hopped in on her own after one introductory nudge and clearly thinks she is in heaven. This fits very neatly into my heavy plastic Petmate Barnhome II Pet Shelter (I got at a local store but I see it's also available on Amazon) which keeps it nice and dry perfect for chilly but not extreme weather. For really cold weather it is a good size to fit into most of the insulated cat shelters that can be found through a simple web search.

Only one small quibble that gets it 4 stars instead of 5: the top-line is stiff but not quite stiff enough, it does tend to start to collapse in the middle a bit if kitty rolls about too enthusiastically. I fixed that easily by nipping a tiny hole in the fabric at each end and running a small plastic dowel through with a couple of inches protruding on each end, problem solved.

I purchased this bed for an outdoor cat. I was supprised when I opened it, it is not padded very well on the bottom, also the top falls down in the middle, it is just fabric and nothing to hold its shape.

The product is a good idea, but I am wishing I would have purchased something else.

This product needs some kind of temperature control or maybe mine was defective. My cats readily went into the kitty camper but didn't stay because it was too hot and the temperature always stayed hot. The bottom of the bed was so hot it scorched a blanket underneath it. The two holes to enter or exit the camper should have clear flaps so cats could see out but still be protected from wind, snow, or rain. Cost was too high.

This is the perfect thing to keep an outdoor kitty safe and warm! We are having temperatures as low as 10 degrees outside, but every time our little kitty comes out of his camper, he is toasty warm. It is a well thought out product with 2 openings and thick furry lining. An earlier reveiw says that it sags in the middle, but that seems to have been modified. My camper came with a rod that you thread through the top to hold it up perfectly. We have one happy little camper on our front portch!
