Great little training tool to help run a home more efficiently! Took some time in the beginning but our puppy eventually got the hang of it and now rings it like crazy! One piece of advice don't let the bell become associated with play time outside or the dog will ring it every time he/she gets bored, which for our puppy can be every 10 minutes!

Looks great and it was a great concept but my puppy prefers to sit by the door instead of ringing the bell. The noise scares him a bit. Even when I put a treat on the bell to make him touch it, he'll take the treat ever so carefully to not ring the bell.

I have not been able to train my dog, a little chihuahua, named Yoda (big ears) to use these. I do have to give 5 stars though as they are a great idea, and I did find that somehow he got these off my door, and well, was wearing them... Yep he got them wrapped around him and was running around the house making all sorts of noise. He plays with them before he lays down for a nap, but potty time, well it is still Lickies in the face!

This is easier to use if your dog can't see out the window. I leave my curtains closed so that when the dog goes to look out the window, he inadvertently rings the bells. Then I know he wants to go out. Otherwise, he just sits at the door looking out the window not ringing the bells.

My dogs are still getting used to them , let alone no longer afraid of them. I hope soon they will use them.
