I purchased this because I have a short hair dog, and I live in New England. It gets very cold here, and he will often shiver. There is so little poly-fill in this, that it's pretty much useless. I actually took it apart and put in more poly-fill. I also put in a small opening between the collar and the body for my dog's leash to go through so when he's on his leash it doesn't pull the collar of the coat off his neck.

This is good if you live in an area where it gets mildly chilly, but if you live where you might see penguins on snow drifts.. look for something better.

Or if you are looking for "my dog looks cute in it" more than "practical and useful" you might like this.

neck is too small for any dogs and there is no way you are able to use dog lease with this thing.

materials are non-stretch polyester everything.

filling material is so cheap, after just one gentle washing cycle it creates big lump inside and never goes back to its original shape.

The vest is very warm which is great. The workmanship is superb with tight stitches that don't tear and plenty of Velcro on the underside. I did need to shorten the length to fit my terrier mix that weighs 12 lbs, but is a long dog, thus needing this size vest. Highly recommend this company.

The size they give is off.

I usually buy Simple Solutions Small Sized for up to 15 pounds and waist size of 9 to 13 inches. They fit super well, but cost more, so I wanted to try the Alfie belly band. When I got them they looked super cute. Nicely made, but I noticed they looked way to small without even trying them on. The measurements that is listed Small, Waist 10.5 12.5 inches (4" Wide) which is only 1/2 inch smaller than simple solutions. Simple solutions allow 2 inches of valcro to overlap and Alfie only allow for an 18th of an in valcro to over lap, which is not enough to hold the wrap together. Since it is a size problem I would have to pay for return shipping even though I ordered the right size according to the measurements they had listed. Anyway buy a bigger size if you were going to order them.

This is just what I expected. Teddy hasn't worn it yet but I expect it will be fine. I have used a belly band-before, and started about 15 minutes at a time until he became accustomed to it. I like that a pad will stay in place in this one. Only 4 stars because it could be a little more attractive. But very macho.

I noticed that 2 different size mediums with different patterns were listed as different dimensions in the description. I went for the one that matched my dogs measurement. I ordered the set of 2 belly bands (camo and giraffe print). The camo is a little bigger than the giraffe print one. It seems to slip off easily. The giraffe print one works great! I ordered a zebra print one hoping that it will be more like the giraffe one.

This is one of the best inventions ever! Really helps with the little leg lifters! They were a bit small for my chis but I didn't measure them like I should have. My fault. They still fit thanks to the adjustable velcro closure.

I bought two of these jackets for my Rottweiler and my mastiff. They are the only affordable jackets I could find for such large dogs. I do like them and do recommend them to other dog owners BUT be prepared to get out the sewing machine!

First of all the Velcro that fastens around the front isn't strong enough to stay closed on large dogs. I had to sew the front shut otherwise the jacket falls off after about 5minutes. I just slip it over the head of the dog and it's not a big deal. I'm sure sewing on better Velcro would work just as well.

SECOND The trim came undone on one of the jackets after about the 3rd wear. The mastiff stays outside while I'm at work (comes inside when I am home) so he may have snagged it on something. I Just sewed the trim back on and I expect it not to come undone ever again.

The jacket is warm and fashionable. I bought the red and blue ones.

This Coat if of nice quality. However the front velcro didn't hold together with movement. My dog is a boxer/ bull mastiff with a broad chest.

My pet is rather large and she is 10 years old. She has been walked every morning since she came into my life at 6 months old. Through rain, sun, snow, cold weather, you name it! It's a ritual for her and a God walk for me. I had a cape for the cold weather for her but it never really kept her warm. When I saw this coat, I prayed it came in an xxl as it would be perfect for her, I researched the site and was delighted to find that it did! I bought it and now my pet loves to wear it. I got this for my tiny 1.5 pound chihuahua. Chihuahuas love to burrow under blankets and such so they love enclosed places to sleep in, much like a cat.

She really likes this bed "cage" of sorts. It's just as it looks like in the picture.

The paw prints on the sides/roof of the cage don't match up as you can see in the picture. This is a disappointment but not a big deal to my dog. You'd figure they could have done better with that, but it's not a deal-breaker.

If they ever get this back in stock, I'd recommend it to others. My dog loves it! Then again, she loves any/all beds. She has about 10 now.

We bought this for our cat to find a warm place during the day when no one is at home, and because she is a little overweight we preferred this over conventional kitty homes. It is a bit flimsy, not too sturdy, and covered with dog paws but it is warm and nice. At first it took a lot of coaxing, treats and catnip to get her interested though. But now she enjoys sleeping in her little house.

I should have read the reviews on these! About half of the chews in the bag were the thickness of a pencil. It took my dog no more than 2 minutes to chew through one of these. These sticks are probably cheaper at Petco. The only reason I ordered them was to bring my Amazon order over $25 so I could get free shipping. What a waste of money!

Flossies are the all time favorite of my Aussie and Corgi, but Flossies are expensive. Bully sticks can be foul smelling and dirty. I got this size for my pit bull puppy and the next size up for my 50lb 2 1/2 ft tall coonhound mix. The crate is easy to clean when the puppy makes messes in it, and came with a panel to section off the crate until the pup is bigger.

For my larger dog, I started off with one of the plastic crates with a wire front gate and a small wire window on each side. within a few days, my coonhound destroyed that crate. I decided to try this wire crate with him. He still attempts to chew his way out (which is obviously dangerous for him--we're working through it), but he has not broken any of the wires. He has bent quite a few of them, but the crate is still safe for him to be in.

These crates come with a plastic tray for "easy cleaning". I leave the tray in and wipe it down with a non-toxic antibacterial spray. I have no problems with the plastic tray, but if you have a dog that digs you will probably need to replace the tray (replacement trays are available at my locally owned pet store), or switch to a metal tray.

Even though my larger dog has bent the wires in his crate, I'm still giving this product 5 stars. I've never seen in person any of the more expensive crates for destructive dogs. My dog suffers from pretty severe separation anxiety and this crate has really held up well and kept him safe. I think this is a great product--especially for the price

This crate works well for our needs. It's fairly light and it folds easily. Having doors on two sides as well as the top is a very nice feature. The only downside is that the plastic legs on the bottom tend to fall off easily.

This is a light yet sturdy crate. I really love that it has three doors so we could get at out chickens no matter which way they went or which way they knocked over their food or water :)

I am also excited that it folds up for storage when we don't have chicks or bunnies passing through.

It has been very easy to keep clean.

I wish they offered this in an option of all light colors on the house and the mattress. I would choose all light colors so that light-haired pets can use this without every little hair showing up on the dark-brown faux suede. The fur really sticks to the suede making the otherwise attractive bed look messy. The entrance is also too low for some pets to enter comfortably. It should be taller to accommodate the shape of a dog or cat and should also be less wide in order to minimize the overall entrance size (to retain warmth). For these oversights, I must deduct two stars.

The product does have some qualities we like. We have used this as an outdoor home for a cat who was too shy to come indoors. On the coldest nights, I placed a heating pad inside the pet house and under the mattress. The zippered sides allow a convenient opening for inserting a heating pad in such a way that the cord can be led out the back corner and kept out of sight. I fabricated a fleece flap to close the opening and better insulate the house. That modification raised the interior temperature by about 20 degreess. Thanks to the thick walls and the thick fleece flap I made, the kitty found herself in a nice 70 degree home when outside temps lowered to the 30's. With the modifications of a heating pad and a flap, this makes an excellent outdoor kitty bed for cold nights (for use in dry areas only as it is not waterproof).

Just got the new house (bought large size) for my two Chihuahuas (5 pounds & 8 pounds) to hang out in together; plenty of room for both together inside at once. Shipping was free and fast...gotta love that. Better than that though is the fact that they are so happy with their new dog house :) They were just waiting for me to put it on the floor once I got it all set up (which only took about 1 1/2 minutes). Great quality in construction, not flimsy, super cushy pillow that is inside and outside the house. They are hanging out in their new digs a lot, and happy as ever. This pet house is inexpensive, beautifully designed, and comfortable, and my little yorkie absolutely loves it! The design of the house also doesn't bring to mind the traditional pet house, and the color and material look sophisticated enough for you to display it right in the living room. But best of all, my puppy loves to snuggle in it after a long day of playing, so I really can't say anything bad about this product at all!

Warning: The entrance is a bit small even for my toy sized yorkie, so it will be difficult for dogs bigger than that to enjoy this lovely home.

Before receiving the bed, I wasn't sure what the quality was going to be like. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. The material is soft & sturdy all the way around and the zippers are heavy weight and zips smoothly. The shape took form right away and I found no imperfections whatsoever. My little doggie loves to curl up inside -it gives her a comfy, secure place to sleep at night. It's great!

This little crate pad is really great. I bought it because I was looking for a pad to fit into my Cozy Time pet carriers Cozy Time Pet Home but couldn't find one that fit exactly. The extra-small size (15" x 20") is nearly a perfect fit, and proved itself a winner on a long-distance car trip with our two cats.

The crate pad is reversible, with cotton on one side for keeping cool in summer and a sherpa side for cooler temperatures. We used both sides since we started out in the heat (115 degrees outside) and ended up in the mountains -then two weeks later did the reverse. It did not smell bad after these two weeks, which surprised me. It's washable and very easy to care for, but DO NOT use fabric softener because the fabric has been treated somehow. The thickness was about right -not too thick that it left no head room in the carrier for the pets, and not thin either.

We left the pads out while on our trip, and the cats used them as beds as well. They held up well -even with one cat which wanted to get out of the cage and pawed at the pad off and on for 11 hours. So far I'm pleased with this pad.

Side note: The Dog Gone Smart crate pads come in many other sizes, so companies that sell it here would probably do well to offer it in various sizes/colors on the sales page rather than each size and each color on a separate page. I did a search for this page on another review in order to link to it and was offered about 6 blind choices and had to guess which one it was.

This crate pad is awesome! Works so well I can't smell or really see if my weimaraner puppy is urinating on it at night. Only downfall is, I've washed it twice since I've owned it in a month and it seemed to shrink a bit. It doesn't fit as nice. I even washed it in cold and dried it on low. Overall though, I'd buy another when I need to in the future and I'd recommend it to others.

These little dog panties are VERY Cute and well made but the sizing is totally wacky and they are difficult to get on and off. It's just as pictured, like a swimming raft, but it's not inflated, just stuffed. My dog loves this, as do I, but the attached bungee cords straps and plastic clips are too easy for the dog to get to, so i suggest keeping an eye on them at first. I had to remove the plastic clips after my dog bit one in half, and am keeping close watch on the straps. Even so, it's a great mat for anywhere.
