Horrible scent. I mean it makes me feel ill. Yes I know some of us are more sensitive to scents than others. So that being said I can't bring myself to try it on my cats which we got it for. Two long haired boys that mat up pretty bad. Hoped this would do it. I wish I could find unscented version that's safe to use on animals including cats. I'm not sure what I'll do with this product now. Maybe I can re-sell on Ebay having not used it...just sniffed it. Several times over several days to see if it was just me having a bad day. NO.....it lingers too. UGH!

These bowls are cute but are too shallow and small for my Mini Schnauzer. For a small dog like mine these are OK for a food bowl since 1.5 cups of food fit in well but without much room to spare. However trying to carry water in this bowl is a nightmare, so shallow I spill water all over. And it doesn't hold much water.

So I am returning this bowl and the ivory one like it.

I'm measuring the interior depth at 2" and width at 6.5".

I rated it 2 stars for cuteness, but forget using it as a water bowl.

I'm a dog trainer for a local rescue, and was asked to test this product as a means of helping our volunteers walk the dogs that pull so hard they're hurting themselves or the humans. Harnesses are not an option for most shelters due to disease control methods...we must unfortunately (for now) use the harsh nylon leashes we can bleach multiple times a day. Anyway...after reading instructions and testing this device on almost 50 dogs (we have more but those were our 'pullers') ....let me tell you...there is NO effect on pulling on any of these dogs. Not one. Not after a solid two week attempt. About one third of the dogs do seem to hear the device indicated by a head tilt or ear twitch. But a reduction in pulling? Zilch. Save your money for more effective training aides...or buckle down and do it with positive training alone.

I did not test this device as a training aide for any other commands, as the literature states it could also be used. I tested pulling only.

We have two dogs an 8 month old puppy and a 6 year old. Neither dog responded to the "DOG-e-walk".

This device is supposed to emit an annoying/irritating sound that only dogs can hear. The annoying

sound can then be used to help correct behavior problems. The literature primarily focuses on using

this device when walking a dog to prevent the dog from pulling. But, the literature and manual also

state this thing can be used as a hand-held trainer to correct barking and other bad behavior your

little buddies exhibit.

We had intended to use the hand-held aspect of it to correct some undesirable behavior but obviously,

with the dogs not reacting, that didn't work. I have read other reviews of this product that say it

worked for them re: the leash pulling aspect. I submit it is possible the dog *may* have decreased or

stopped pulling, but it may be for other reasons than the animal hearing some annoying sound. Perhaps

the presence of this thing hanging off their collar upsets/disorients them. Perhaps it does emit a

sound that some dogs can hear and it merely confuses them therefore reducing the leash pulling. I

dunno.

What I do know for sure is our two dogs of different breeds, different ages and sizes, both pure-bred

with no hearing deficiencies did not react to this thing. What are the odds of this happening?

Now I submit one more item for the viewing public: there's a definite "catch 22" here.

You're supposed to fasten this thing between the dog's collar and your leash. Here's a basic problem

I have: if you're a dog lover and your dog is pulling so bad you want to buy this device the first

thing I'd do is buy a harness. The constant pulling and strain the collar induces (on the dog's neck)

is not good for your canine friend. Plus, I have seen some dogs wriggle free of a collar and get loose.

Even if you got a big powerful dog, it can strain/hurt his/her neck. And, if you're already using a

choke chain or similar item, why would you be buying this thing anyway? A harness is safer, won't

put this undue pressure on the neck, and much, much harder (if not impossible) to wriggle out of.

But, the dog-e-walk is not designed to work with a harness, so there lies the rub, my friend. Save

some bucks buy (or check-out from local library) a good dog training book.

So, in the end, the only annoying sound my dawgs (and me) heard was the scratch of the pen writing a check

to my credit card account to pay for this thing that don't work.

In any case, I believe I was rip-e-offed by the DOG-e-walk . Thumbs (and paws) down on this product.

The Dog-e-walk was a disappointment. I followed the instructions exactly as stated but it proved not to work for my dog. I started out with level one intensity and worked up to the highest level which is number four. My dog still barked and pulled when another dog approached us. It may work for some dogs but unfortunately it did not work for mine.

So I bought this item and tried it out. My 1 year old husky would cock his head to the side, then go back to whatever he was doing. Even on the highest setting. It was obvious he could hear it, but just didn't care. I will say it appeared to work on my neighbors dog that barked. So maybe each dog is individual. Luckily the pet store took it back. My recommendation is if you want to try it out buy it somewhere you can take it back.

My male malamute (about 1 year old) broke the thing. He's strong. It did give me hope so it was really placebo. It worked at first. He did indeed hear it and did pay attention. That didn't last all that long. Familiarity breeds contempt. Had to keep turning the dial up. Finally the end broke right off. I'm really glad the dog didn't run away. He sure could have.

My dog is a Lab mix. He loves the Tomato and the Green Pepper. I mean loves them. He plays with them for a few day before tearing out the center noisemaker, but then carries them around for weeks later. I wash them and sew them up and he carries and plays with them some more. Ive even found them in his crate. I think they bring him comfort when were not home. When we go to bed for the night he brings them both in the room. I highly recommend.

I've found that ceramic bowls work best for guinea pigs because they tend to like to stand on the rim while they eat and if the guinea pig is heavy, this causes the plastic bowls to tip over easily. This one has a nice soft rim that will be comfortable on little cavy feet! Also, guinea pigs eat a lot of pellets during the day and this is a good sized bowl. You can ensure there will be plenty of food available to them but you won't have to fill it all the way so spills/messes will be less likely.

I wanted a ferret sized dish and I was tired of having the ferret push dishes over so that the food was underfoot or the water was on the floor. I didn't want a larger one for dogs, because my family tends to FILL whatever is available. These are perfect. When I ordered them, delivery was timely as well. They've survived over a year of use, including washing with no evidence of wear. Recommended highly.

OK, so the dog will be moving out of my house into a dog house in the backyard. It wasn't his choice, but then again, he's not paying the mortgage/rent.

So, this charming dog house fit the bill. The functional window is not something you will find in many other dog houses, and the plastic strips in the entry helps keeps bugs out, and possibly keep the dog a little warmer in cooler climates.

Shipment came in 2 packages: one was 45lbs and the other was 20lbs.

Fairly easy assembly: only took me about 30 minutes; you will need a Philips screwdriver, and that's it! I'd recommend fully tightening all the side-screws *after* you position the roof, or the roof may not fit/sit properly.

Dog was very curious as I was setting up this dog house. He did go cautiously in after I threw one of his favorite toys in there. I also added a light blanket to the bottom of the dog house. Might add a little LED light too :)

I've only had this dog house for a day, so I will update my review in time.

My dog is a 70 lbs extremely fluffy Golden Doodle. Ok I get that he is large. But he is still a normal sized dog like a lab or a golden retriever. I read the reviews that said it ran very small. IT RUNS EXTREMELY SMALL. I got the extra large and I think it would have fit a 30-40 dog. It was laughably small on my dog. I got it out of the box and laughed at how mini it was. it looked like a baby jersey not a dog jersey. Yes the material is stretchy but if you have anything larger than a beagle or sheltie this is not for you. I am SO disappointed.

These collars conceal the fact that you are using a choke collar. This saves explaining to the uninformed how and why a choke collar can be an invaluable training aid. They do not release as quickly as the original style, but not t0o bad.

Nice product but these run small. I recommend buying the next larger size and remove links if needed. It is also important for people to use these collars properly. They should be used as high up on the neck as possible, NOT down where a regular collar would typically sit. This will assure you are not choking your dog or damaging their larynx. It matters how you put them on. If you walk with your dog on your left, hold the collar and attached leash so it makes a letter "P" not a letter "Q" as you face your dog. Putting the collar on properly will insure that it releases and loosens when you ease up. The collars really should not be called "choke" collars. They only choke when misused. A dog should NEVER be tied up to a choke collar, even if you are just going in somewhere for a minute. They should only be used with a leash, and only by people who know how to use them. It should just barely fit over your dogs head without hurting on the way on. If it is too small it will go on but be very hard to take off and may hurt your dog's ears on the way off. Remember this is not a device to help you win a tug of war with your dog. It is a device to alert your dog that you do not like what she is doing or about to do. It should be used with a quick tug and release to the side. It is to interrupt their thought process or fixation. For example as you approach a dog coming towards you and your dog is going into an excited or fixated state, give a quick tug towards you to get have your dog focus on you and not the approaching dog. Or if your dog is constantly dropping her head to sniff at everything, especially food scraps you should give a gentle correction as she BEGINS to drop her head. These are great devices to train dogs to know when it is time to "Walk" and when it is okay to sniff or do their "business."

My dogs LOVE this bed. I have a parson russell terrier (25 pounds), chihuahua pomeranian mix (15 pounds), and chihuahua maltese (6 pounds). All three fit inside the cave bed comfortably. Sometimes my boyfriend's dog a cocker spaniel about 30 pounds comes over and also sleeps in this bed with my dogs. Idk how comfortable they are, but all 4 fit. I bought it because they sleep outside on the balcony and it gets cold. The hood part blocks the wind from hitting them and since they are inside of the bed they are warm. Only complaints I have about this bed is the hood part doesn't stand up itself; I had to get sticks to hold both side up In order for my dogs to get inside. Also I notice the bed got worn down. Like its not as fluffy as it looks like in the picture. Idk if its because three dogs are in there or because the material is cheap. It's only been 2 months since I bought it. I haven't tried washing it yet so hopefully it's easy to wash. It's a little pricy, but I love my dogs and want to make sure they are warm; so in the end it's worth buying this item.
