My dog loves this ball. He is as ball-obsessed as they come. His favorites are tennis balls, but we don't let him have those inside because he chews them and wrecks his teeth. We got him this ball, and it quickly became his new favorite indoor ball.

Our other dog loves to steal his toys, which results in tug battles that often end in torn toys and stuffing all over the place. So far, this ball has held up nicely to their rough play. Both dogs like to chew on this ball constantly as well.

The ball is about the size of a softball. It's not overly stuffed, so a smaller dog could still play with it. Our dogs are 40 lbs, and it seems perfect for them.

My new dog Mandy loves this ball. She is obsessed with chewing and this ball has survived so far (almost 2 months). This product is well worth the money and it's great for playing fetch with her when it's too wet to play outside. I would recommend this product for the obsessive chewer.

I have a Greater Swiss mountain dog and she is a heavy chewer. She loves to play fetch, keep away, and tug and she loves these balls for all these purposes. Interesting to read in the reviews how people's dogs tore it up in a matter of minutes. BTW, this is a throw toy, not a chew toy. My 83 lb. American Bulldog/Staffy mix loves this ball! We throw it around in the house and then he plays "I'm not gonna let you have it back". If I let him sit there and chew on it, yes, he would destroy it in minutes. However, the object is to throw it, play hide and seek with it, and play tag with it, no?

Awesome product. Hubs and I are going back to the store to buy a few more so my boy and I can play with multiple balls at playtime! Great product!

You know how it is...you order something on Amazon and it is just a few dollars short of the 25 dollar order you need to get free shipping. Do you give the few bucks to the shipper or find something for a few bucks to add to your order? I have a 14 month old golden retriever who has been unbelievably destructive, (in a fun-loving way), and he always has to have something in his mouth, whether it be all the seat belts in my van, (1000 dollars) or the siding corners of my entire house. Anyway, I have purchased a myriad of toys that claim to be 3X as strong, blah, blah, blah. I saw this stuffed ball and read the reviews and thought to myself that other dogs could not destroy it but they don't live with The Destroyer. To my great surprise, we have had this ball 2 weeks now and it is like new! The Destroyer plays with it every day. At first, he tried what worked on all the other soft toys...put his paw on it for leverage and then pull back with all his canines gripped on with 80 pounds of tug-of-war pressure....NOTHING!!! He has given up and now that is the toy he brings into my bed to tell me the world is awake...so much better than a hard nylabone conking me in the head!

GET IT!!!!

Okay...have had for 3 weeks now...still like new. I had also ordered the indoor ball by Chuckit which was the first Chuckit product out of dozens that I was disappointed in. The ball lasted less than a 2 minute car ride. GET THIS ONE!!!!

Once you put bedding in the house, this product is a little unforgiving when entering the house. I wound up simply cutting up some heavy duty cloth and making my own door. The product material seems to be the exact same material they use for industrial freezers. Overall, it is a solid product that I doubt will ever break but it is a little too ridged for my needs.

We have a zoo at our house. As I've mentioned in previous posts we have a puppy, 2 kittens, 1 parakeet, 1 turtle and a rat. I love all my animals, but the problem is sometimes our little puppy gets too excited. We're still trying to train him and all that and his newest thing is a leaky "area" when he gets really excited. Ewwww! Well Thanks to Earth Heart for sharing a product called Canine Calm with us we were able to find something that doesn't make the dog, or anyone else for that matter, sleep; it just makes them more calm.

First of all I have to say I love how this product smells. It's so relaxing, yet a strong fragrance scent. While this is being promoted for dogs I was also told by the company that their product is safe to use around cats and by humans and horses too! Also, because this product is water based you don't have to worry about stained or sticky clothing.

We first tired this product on the puppy when he was in his caged area whimpering and scratching. We have to watch him when he's out until we can get him fully potty trained so we figured since he was in there for the evening it would be a good time to try the product. Within a minute or so of my husband following the directions to apply to the dog he was rather calm and relaxed and stayed that way until we fell asleep. When it wore off or if he was already sleepy I couldn't honestly tell you, but it appeared to work! After finding out it was safe for humans to use on their clothing and such I sprayed some to myself and well, I must say I feel VERY relaxed. I also applied it to the cats as well and they seem rather relaxed minus one of them giving me a death stare after wiping their ears with it (as directed).

In the end I am very pleased and surprised that the product works so well. I definitely didn't expect it from a mist. Maybe I'm already sleepy and maybe it's a mental thing, I honestly couldn't tell you. I can tell you though it appears to work quite well in our house and based on that I would have to say I recommend the Earth Heart Canine Calm!

I bought this for my doberman. It is of good quality. I did notice the collar keeps loosening on it's own. I have to readjust it three to four times a day on my dog's neck. My dobbie does have a choke collar on her as well, which I use when taking her out. I would suggest, if you have to use this only for your dog, check it constantly before taking your dog out to make sure it is fitting correctly. If you go on long walks, check it while walking. If your dog is rowdy, not walking properly with you, then I do not suggest using this as a way to contain your pet. It may loosen too much and the dog might be able to bolt. I am a Steelers fan and had to have it for my big baby. I do not use the collar when walking my dog nor training her due to it constantly needing to be tighten.

I've found that ceramic bowls work best for guinea pigs because they tend to like to stand on the rim while they eat and if the guinea pig is heavy, this causes the plastic bowls to tip over easily. This one has a nice soft rim that will be comfortable on little cavy feet! Also, guinea pigs eat a lot of pellets during the day and this is a good sized bowl. You can ensure there will be plenty of food available to them but you won't have to fill it all the way so spills/messes will be less likely.

I wanted a ferret sized dish and I was tired of having the ferret push dishes over so that the food was underfoot or the water was on the floor. I open 1 capsule over wet canned catfood and feed 2 cats. This seemst to keep fleas under control around here. I don't even treat very often -maybe once a month and 1 cat goes in and out of doors. It's so much nicer than administering harmful topicals to the cats. One of my cats literally cries like a baby when I used to apply frontline, etc. on her. That stuff just cannot be good for them! This and a good vacuum is a much safer alternative!

These capsules come LOOSE in a homemade container!!! They DO NOT come in a manufactured blister pack in box with real documentation. Fleas are not affected by this product either. If you use the REAL Capstar, you will see the fleas vacating the animal's fur in as short as 30 minutes.

Yorkshire terriers are so different from other dogs and this book will definitly help you out. It was so helpful and i used it as a constant resource during the first year. It helped alot during training and it gave some great grooming tips. I hope this book will help others just as it did for me and my yorkie.

The only reason I did not give this book 5 stars is because it needs a good editor. If it were not for the editing needed, this would be the book I would recommend to anyone thinking about getting a Yorkie. It is packed with wonderful information.

Several subjects are repeated, like rewrites were accidently included in the book. Some subjects stop in the middle of a sentence. Like this Example: John bought a red car on Tuesday. Then later in the book; On Tuesday John bought a used red car, at good price. Then again; Alvin sold a red car to John on Tuesday. This is just bad editing or printing errors.

Being a trainer, breeder, and Yorkie owner for over 30 years I agreed with about 98% of Deborah Wood's information and training methods. She is brilliant about how Yorkies think and behave.

Two things I would revise in this book are age of spaying or neutering and the comments about mutant coat colors.

My research finds many vets now recommend neutering dogs AFTER a dogs growth plates have stopped growing. And they are sexually mature. This is usually between 8 months and one year of age. Younger is not better.

True nontraditional coat colors or mismarked patterns are frowned on by the AKC and show breeders. But not all off colors mean the gene that carries the color also carries health problems. Tri colored coats have happened in pure bred litters since the beginning and are now called Parti Colors. Most other colors do not mean health problems, Red , Chocolate, Golden, and Parti are just not the colors of the bred standard. To my knowledge only BLUE Born Yorkies have a greater risk of health problems including baldness. Most of the research I could find was with blue and red Dobermans.

Buy this book, but keep your red pencil handy to edit the mistakes.

I gave this 5 stars because it smells fantastic, seems to do a perfectly good job, and is much easier to use than regular dog shampoo. I like that I can spray the amount I need, where I need it, and don't have to worry about spilling the bottle. This is a big deal when you are trying to wrestle an 80lb German Shepherd who doesn't want a bath and wants out of the bathtub! It smells awesome, and the scent lasted a day or two, unlike most dog shampoos.

I've bought my dog (Border Collie/Welsh Cardigan Corgi mix)a lot of stuffed toys, most of which are destroyed within hours. My 12 lbs Jack Russel Terrier mix loves this toy and sleeps with it every night (it's about half his size but he has no trouble walking around with it). It is durable (we have played tug-of-war with it and there are no visible rips of loose strings anywhere), it has a small squeaker that kind of floats inside that you can use, and it's super cute. I totally recommend the toy.

I bought this toy for my medium sized dog and it has been one of her absolute favorites. My wife and I were pretty set on NOT getting a squeaky toy for our pup until we dog sat a friend's dog and our little Kona played with the other dog's squeaky toy all weekend. So I picked up this Zanies Dinosaur for her. She has of course shredded the yellow triangles on the spine and chewed all the white teeth but this thing keeps on giving! She shakes and squeaks and shakes and tosses this thing around for hours and it has held up to incredible wear and tear! I'm posting the same review as the one I wrote for the regular version of this product. I can't say enough about this chew! My dog was sick for 6 months last year, and hospitalized twice. Her food was changed 4 times, before they figured out she was allergic to just about every kind of meat! What is a dog to do??? There wasn't anything out there that she could chew on (that she liked). She wouldn't touch non-food toy chews, so she took to finding paper(or books) and chewing/shredding it whenever she could get away with it. I was going out of my head! Sam's Yams was a God-send! She loves them and can't wait to get one. She gets so excited when she knows I'm getting one for her, and then can't find a place to chew it...it's funny, she circles the house looking for a good hide-out, afraid someone will take it from her. The best part is...they aren't making her sick! I highly recommend these, as well as the regular Veggie Chew version of the chew. My dog is a Cavapoo, the size of a Cocker, and it takes her about 5-10 minutes to polish one off. That is the only downer...wish it lasted longer. But hey, beggers can't be choosers!!

I have a six year old Golden Retriever with an extremely delicate digestive system. Recently she bled internally after chewing a rawhide. Needless to say, once I calmed my guilt, I had to find a healthy alternatve because she loved to chew on cheweeze rawhides as a treat. (My Vet told me rawhides can be extremely dangerous for some dogs.)

I knew she liked sweet potato, so when I discovered Sam's Yams, I figured, why not give them a try? The result, she absolutely loves them!!! I have to keep reordering 3 bags at a time because she barks at the cabinet we keep them in until I give her another.

Sam's Yams is such a wonderful and healthy alternative to rawhide. It is also a low fat treat, which is wonderful for breeds that have a tendency to put weight on.

I cannot say enough about this product. My dog loves them, my Vet approves and that makes me a very happy owner.

All of the Sams Yams products are great, and if you have a dog with allergies, a sensitive GI tract or other issues, consider this as a treat. Made only of dehydrated sweet potato, this is a great treat/chew and has the added benefit of allowing your dog to maintain 'regularity' albeit with a bit of an orange color! The Big Boyz version of this treat is about twice as thick as the regular chews and a great choice for larger dogs. One warning: despite what the bag says, rugs will get a lovely orange hue after your pal has eaten his treat on it but it will wash out--serve on your dogs bed for best results!

The pad at first is a great idea and then you realize that it doesn't last very long. Then when you go to by another one, you find out that the pad cost half as much as the house itself. There is something wrong with that picture. I used to live and Va and shop at CareA-Lot. They are a very reliable source for good animal products. i guess when they stopped carry this product, thar shold have been a big clue. Now, I am stuck trying to find something that will work for the oddly yet functionally shaped house. What do I do!?! Where do I go!?!

I just received the item today. Quite disappointed indeed. It is very, very cheaply made (in China as well). The foam is low quality and only about 2 inches thick at most, and is a cheap quality foam. The cover over the foam is low quality as well. It is not worth more than $15$20, (definitely not worth > $50.) , and I highly doubt it will last more than 3 6 months. I do NOT recommend this product at all. My recommendation is to go a local home health medical equipment store and purchase a twin sized egg crate mattress (for about $20) and cut it out to fit (you will have enough left over to make 1 or 2 more), and go to a local home improvemnt store and get a blue or gray colored tarp and cover the foam up with it. Another option would be to just get cheap illows at a local discount store, and cover them with the tarp.

Hey, so this pad seems great and fits perfectly. It looks easy to clean and seems comfy. My pad lasted about three days, when my pup decided it was fun to chew on. If your dog doesn't get distressed when alone or bored, this pad would be great. My solution to padding my dog house was to buy a bale of cheap hay form a local pet or garden store. now my dog has a comfy, dry, warm place to sleep that also is fun to roll in and scratch that back. She loves her dog house now!

This pad lasted approximately 4 hours before being destroyed by my dog.

The item is very lightweight, extremely cheaply made and it is certainly not durable. I would go so far as to say that it is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.

Petmate responded to my email complaint but they were dismissive and unsympathetic with regard to their substandard product.

I really wish that I had saved my money and not ordered this piece of junk.

We are now using a simple bale of hay to pad the dogloo and keep our dog warm at night and it is working perfectly and cost us just $5.
