While many people use flexi or other retractable leads, I rather use a long line like this... nowhere near as dangerous, and it's loads easier to hold on to (no chunky handle... my hand is too small to hold onto the huge flexi lead handle, and even with this lead all bundled up, it's smaller than that)... not to mention if you drop it, the dog won't run all the way to the north pole in fear. Plus, it makes no annoying clicks or whirls (and you have no worry of having to amputate either your leg or your dog's leg if it gets tangled up in either).

I like using this as a drag line out in the park so my dog can have freedom and I can have an easy way of collecting her if she doesn't respond to a recall. It's very soft in my hands, and I have knots all through it at certain lengths so I can step on it and stop my dog, without having the leash slide under my shoe.

Also, for long walks in the country, I put a harness on my dog and hook this up to her... she's able to go ahead of me a bit or stop and sniff the flowers while I keep going. Unlike a flexi lead, she doesn't need to be constantly pulling me, so that's not an issue.

One thing I really like about this long line is that it is easy to untangle, but once you put a knot in it then that knot's going to be there forever. Something that I'm a little disappointed about in this leash is that if you let it drag on the road AT ALL, there's a little bit of wear on it, especially where knots are... so I'd suggest not letting it drop to the ground if you're walking on the road. In the grass is fine, but not on the road.

Great for a dog that is still in training to have som' freedom...line is decent wieght so smaller dogs will definitely know they are wearing it...40lbs or bigger will forget they have it on.

I bought this in a hurry when one of my previous tie-out cables broke, figuring that so long as it was the right length and supported my dog's weight it would be fine. I was sorely disappointed, literally. My wife and I have both managed to get dozens of paper-cut like incisions on our thumbs from the sharp, unfinished edges on the clasp release. The only reason it gets two stars instead of one is that it does at least hold my 70+ lb husky as advertised. I'll be replacing this ASAP and will not be purchasing this again.

The tie-out itself is wonderful. It's extremely strong but still flexible. My dog chews on it and nothing has effected it. The only negative thing I have to say is about the clips. I had mine outside for maybe three days (it had been raining on and off) and the metal had already began to rust. It wasn't a heavy rain or anything, and the sun came right out, nonetheless, it rusted.

I use these steps in a self serve dog wash so they are used by the public. They look good and are sturdy. The packaging was rather beat up when the steps arrived but there was no damage to the steps themselves. The environmnet in which I use these steps is rather harsh due to consinstantly being wet and being used by the general public. This is the 2nd time I have purchased these stairs and am happy with the results.

I rent a house with no back steps. There is a wooden plank for the door so I put a doggie door into it for my 3 mixed chihuahuas. I bought these steps for them to use. They're PERFECT! I'm expecting the Extension Hook, 2-Pack to arrive tomorrow and that will give better support, stability, and I'll put an extra step on top of it. This is great for my little guys!!

We took our 11 year old kitty home for the holidays on a 7-hour car ride. He just layed there in his kennel; unbelievable! He really hates car trips. I started giving this to him 3 times a day beginning the day before we left. He cried for maybe a few minutes when we first started driving and then that was it. And he totally adapted to my dad's place where we stayed; I gave him some more the next day to make sure he wasn't upset; he was great! He was so good; this really really does work with no drowsiness or any type of side affects whatsoever. Do not even hesitate to use this; love it.

Hint; place the correct number of drops right into the lid and tilt back their head and just let it run in; this is much quicker and easier then trying to squeeze the drops in one at a time. We used 10 drops cause he is a huge Maine Coon weighing 25lbs. Read instructions of course for correct weight dosage.

I adopted 3 adult cats that I brought home at the same time. One is an owner give-up. She has had a lot of anxiety adjusting to all the changes she's been through. She has shown several signs of stress plucking/excessive grooming/feline acne/unprovoked hissing. I tried Homeopet Anxiety Relief first but after 2 weeks it wasn't working so I weaned her down and her stress signs showed up again; so I guess it really was working! I then gave Rescue Remedy a try since its non-alcohol and if I run out is available at Whole Foods. The Homeopet Anxiety Relief is definitely more effective for my cat (I also have 2 Feliway diffusers). Although it took some time for it to take effect (I guess the more stress the cat is under the longer it takes). I do have to do 3 5-drops a day and do notice a change in her if I skip a dose. I mix it with her food and she doesn't have a problem with the alcohol, but she is an eater. When I put it in the water bowl, the other cats turned their nose up so I guess the alcohol base wouldn't work with them. I hope she adjusts sooner rather than later and I will no longer have to use it (I'm on my second bottle). But until she adjusts, this is the product I'm sticking with.

I purchased the Homeopet Anxiety relief on the advice of my veterinarian. My spayed geriatric cat was spraying and the younger neutered male cat was intimidating her. The female seemed to be less anxious for the first few weeks after starting the drops but she continued to spray. I decided to give the drops to the male also, hoping some of his aggressive behavior would diminish. His behavior continues to be problematic. The product may be worth trying if you have one cat and you can more readily control the environment. I didn't find it very helpful in a multi-cat household.

I'm loving this stuff. My dog has separation anxiety and would be anxious when I left for work even though there were others at home. When I get home she would whine and jump and be kinda wild and it would take at least ten minutes for her to calm down. I've been giving her 10 drops three times a day and I saw the difference today. The heater does a great job of heating the dog house. It was fairly easy to install and looks decent. I insulated my dog house, so the warm temperature is pretty constant. The heater does not make hardly any noise and puts out heat instantly. I would recommend this product to anyone, it's a great investment. My Chihuahua min-pin mix would likely never chew the cord, so buying the protected cord may have been not needed. The only thing that I would change would include adding a digital thermostat control--but, I am guessing that adding a digital control would likely raise the price quite a bit. The knob does work just fine.

We bought the medium size and large size Guardian Gear kennel. With two dogs, kids and lots of activities, it really helps to be able to fold the crate down flat and store it easily when not needed. Not having to take a heavy plastic kennel in and out of the car is a huge bonus. The crates have large windows and sturdy zippers and seams. Additional appreciated features included velcro pockets along the sides, carry case and fleece kennel pad. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because the board the fleece fits over was very flimsy. On opening the crate for the first time, I saw that the fleece pad had slipped off the board. When I tried to slide it back on, the board cracked in several places. It seems to be made of something like veneer and was not durable at all. Also, as it was laying on the carpet, it cracked when my 6 year old child stepped on the edge. While this was very disappointing, it is will be easy to replace with cardboard, thin plywood or even lightweight plexiglass. The bottom line: I am pleased with the quality of every other part of the kennel and so would still recommend this product.

I already own many different types of crates from wire crates to the airline approved kennels. I commute between my farm in Pennsylvania and an apartment in NYC. I no longer drive myself and I needed an easy to handle crate for my rottweiler to use in someone else's vehicle. This soft crate is exactly what I needed. It assembles in a minute, is roomy and well ventilated and fits easily in the back of a Ford Escape (with half the back seat folded down to expand the cargo area)

I do have a word of caution: this crate is not suitable for any dog who might try to escape from a crate. Any dog that was so inclined would be able to chew their way out quickly. My rottweiler is crate trained and very good in the car.

I have a 75lb greyhound and this is big enough without being to heavy to take on the road with me and have him safe in a hotel. I just throw in a dog bed to the bottom of the crate. The stiff board that comes with it cracked the minute he stepped on it so I tossed that. That is my only complaint but a dog bed replacing it works great and is softer.

I bought this to transport my two 5 month old kittens from California to Oregon. The size was great, I was able to put a disposable foil baking pan with litter in it in case they needed to go to the bathroom. The kittens were fine for about the first 10 11 hours of the drive, then they decided that they wanted out. That is when it became apparent that this crate could not contain a determined kitten, mainly because the mesh parts of the crate are made out of some sort of rubber material. Within about 30 minutes a hole had been made in the mesh and kittens were free roaming the car. I'm sure a dog could rip a hole in this rubber mesh just as easily as one of my kittens did, so if you have a destructive animal or are planning to use this to contain an animal for a long drive you probably want to find a crate with sturdier mesh.

I have a large English Setter who loves to wrestle with his toys, and it's very hard to find toys big enough for the purpose. This one really fits the bill. And it has great squeakers one on each appendage and also a grunting squeaker in the body. We purchased one of these around 3 years ago for our 130lb Newfie & it's easily his favorite toy which he rarely lets out of his sight.It has survived many washings,dries out quickly & until recently has survived with no holes.He chews on it constantly & is an extremely rugged dog toy. We will buy another. The only drawback to this toy is that it is physically quite large & cumbersome with which your dog WILL knock things over in tight spaces.

This sure IS a LOVE monkey. My 45 lb Freya, Keeshond, LOVES this guy, SHE humps him every night. We had a smaller one and right before we left for our yearly trek to Nova Scotia we bought this one. I hid it from her, she never saw it until we got to the cottage we were staying at. When we got there we put it on the bed without her seeing it. Wasn't sure what she'd do. WELL as soon as she saw it she jumped on the bed and started humping it as if it was her long lost friend!

That was four years ago, he is now faceless but she can bend him to fit her and still loves on him. Worth every single cent!

My 8 month old pit mix pup chews everything, including the landscaping, seat belts, and our English mastiff. This product apparently has a wonderful flavor; he worked on it non-stop. At 48 pounds he's a decent chewer, but certainly not the jaws of death, yet he managed to chomp off 1" sized chunks within 20 minutes. I had to throw the bone away a half hour after opening it. I didn't want to chance the good flavor tempting him to swallow the pieces.

That said, flavored Nylabone products are generally big hits here, so I quickly ordered two chicken flavored Soupers. They don't offer the same satisfaction as being able to knaw off a piece and therefore are not chewed on as often, but they last years and have been a safe option in our house of many dogs.

I'd recommend the Flexible Bones for little, really young pups and weak chewers.

Our shelter dog did not play with any of the toys we bought her the first month she was with us. This Nylabone was just sitting on the floor for a month. Then all of a sudden, one day she decided to start chewing on it. Now it's a regular habit and she just loves chewing on her Nylabone. It sheds in a weird way and comes off in tiny little pieces. I like that it's not big pieces that she could swallow and hurt herself with. Her tail wags the whole time she is chewing on it. I consider my dog a moderate chewer and at about 25 lbs he's not the sturdiest dog around. I gave him this flexi chew bone and within about 3 to 4 minutes he was biting off decent sized chunks and trying to eat them (some successfully). I had to remove the bone after I noticed this and don't plan to give it back to him at any point. I'd say this product is for LIGHT chewers, if any at all. Very disappointed.

I got two of these bowls on sale for a drastically reduced price. They really seemed like a great idea, but their first use proved otherwise. My 12 week old puppy quickly managed to dislodge the bowls from the holders. I didn't really care about the mess, but I did get concerned when she managed to get one of the extension arms of the holders lodged in her mouth while she tried to chew on it. Besides that, the prongs sticking out represent a poking threat to her eyes or the rest of her body. I ended up throwing out the holders and keeping the stainless steel bowls. I Only paid about $5/bowl setup, so the stainless bowls were still a reasonable buy.

This is perfect for when you have to crate your dogs for a few hours when you leave the house. It gives our 6 month old puppy and 4 year old dog just enough water until we get home.

It was difficult to detach the bowl the first time, but after that it's been easy. Also, it's very easy to attach to the kennel and once on, it is very secure.

I do recommend filling it while the bowl is already in place to avoid spills.

I plan on getting a larger one for our puppy when she is bigger (she's going to be between 60-80 lbs full grown) but this size is perfect for our adult dog who is 50 lbs.

i have a 6.2lbs alaskan klee kai, and this has worked out perfectly with my 30"H midwest wire crate. i was a little hesitant to buy this bowl (10oz) because of some of the dislodging issues some people had, but i decided the pros outweighed the cons. i honestly have no clue how crazy someone's dog has to be to pull these things out, because i have a hard time sometimes. i believe if your dog is so determined as to getting these out, they must either be a) bored out of their mind or b) hate the crate ... so probably isn't the bowl's fault, per se. however, compared to some other reviewers, i do not see the difficulty of getting the bowl out as a bad thing. i WANT it to be hard to take out since i would rather my dog not poke their eyes out on the holders. if you have a certain method (i.e., stabilizing the holder and rotating the bowl in has worked for me) to get a water-filled bowl in, it's really not that hard to get it out or in with water inside. (even if you don't want to chance it, unscrewing the bowl out isn't even that hard) they are SNAPPY fit, and if it WASN'T hard to get out, i'd be worried.. so i really don't understand why people are complaining about that.

anyway, only bad point for me is that i bought the 10oz thinking it would be plenty, but i have since learned that my puppy is a little camel. might buy the 20oz and use the littler bowl in the travel crate. however, this is not something wrong with the product -only a problem with my guesstimation ;) so five stars all the way. definitely what i was hoping for with crate bowls.

p.s. also, this *reduces* all the water spilled when my dog runs around and tips the bowl. i might get some piddles from her lapping it up messily, but i dont have PUDDLES of water from her tipping a massive bowl. awesome.

I recently rescued a kitten who was injured by a car. Due to his injuries the Vet requested he be put in a kennel during the days to hinder his movements and increase his rest time. I was afraid to just put food and water dishes on the floor of the kennel where he could tip them over and be stuck laying in his wet soggy food. I saw these online and thought they would be a good solution. They work wonderfully and I love being able to just pull them out and snap them back in without unhooking the whole thing. They only thing I do not like is the water splashes when it snaps back in. But as long as you snap the bowl on and then fill the dish with water from another container it isn't a problem. And I love that they are stainless steel and very sturdy. The kitten is no longer kept in the kennel, but he still uses it as a refuge/bed and of course his still uses these bowls. Great Buy if you kennel your dog or cat.

Once a very kind lady informed me that Avon's Skin so Soft would remove the inside sticker, this bowl became a hit. It rocks! I don't even have any trouble filling it and snapping it in the kennel as is. Although, I do agree that filling it after you attach it is smarter.

My dogs get really snarky if this bowl doesn't stay filled at all time. I've gotten racks for their bowls but they're never quite the right height from the ground. Apparently this one is because they line up when it's empty even though there's a perfectly good bowl sitting not two feet away that's full of clean, sparkly water.

Sigh. I guess I'll buy another one.

My dog started slow down about 3 years ago. She has hips problem and arthritis. She was getting all this joints suplements but there is nothing helped better than StemPets.
