I like the idea of these more than the end results. The fact the bowls slip out of the hangers is nice for refilling, cleaning etc. However, I did note that the entire unit has been knocked off the side of the crate more than once (I did not have the bowl knocked out of the hanger as another reviewer noted though). I also found, after buying four bowls, that some hang more evenly/horizontally than others and it is not consistent bowl to bowl. I do plan to try to bend them back to horizontal (they were made inconsistently it is not shipping damage or anything) I am just not sure I expected to have to do that. I don't think it is a crate difference since all four hang at different angles in the same spot.

A side note of sorts I have also noticed that the cat on the outside of the crate can easily reach in and grab things out of these since now the food is conveniently hung in a stationary position up against the bars. Just an FYI if you have animals both in and out of the crate and are trying to keep them from eating each others' food for whatever reason.

I purchased this 3 years ago, and for 5 bucks and free shipping..I must say this is one of the best purchases I've made for my dog. I've spent more on toys she's ripped up in 2 seconds. I also purchased the 8 ounce for my cockatiels cage when I had birds, and it worked well for them also.

I purchased the 16 ounce for my 20lb pug mix for water. She does not tip this over and spill it beause she is calm in her crate, and I also place it lower in the corner in her wire crate, and not on the door! That's usually where I see other people place their bowls and that's usually the cause of spilling. Even when she was a puppy, I did not have an issue with it besides probably once or twice and accidents happen so it wasn't a deal breaker for me. I like this better than the bowls that have the 2 screwing plates because it's so easy to move this around and take it out quickly if necessary. I honestly wouldn't be worried about purchasing due to tipping it over. Once a dog does it a few times, and it is placed correctly in their crate they will learn to be careful. Just like dogs don't like to lay in their urine, they probably won't like laying in water either...unless they're doing it on purpose, trying to tell you they're hot.

As most know, stainless steel is much better than plastic because plastic harbors bacteria. I haven't seen any ceramic hanging bowls, since stainless steel is lighter and cannot break...so this really is the best bowl to purchase, hands down. I almost bought a new one because of hard water rings that I couldn't seem to scrub off with simple dish soap and a rag...but if this happens just use vinegar! Let it soak and it comes right off, and is safe for your pet.

I use to just transfer my dogs first bowl into her travel crate but at this price I just purchased a second one, and I will be buying another to leave at the cabin as well. Definitely get if your looking to buy a crate dish.

This is a perfect little bowl for Lola my greyhound crate. I like the way this bed looks and it seems to be very durable but it isn't getting much use because my dog doesn't like it at all. I don't think it's comfortable enough for him. I bought The Kakadu Pet Mat for my Lab. We travel, plus he is being trained as a service animal and needs a 'Go to Place' bed when we are in restaurants, etc. It was the correct size, appeared as advertised and the material was sturdy and cooling. My very finiky (for sleep / place) lab went to it Immediately as soon as I opened it sniffed Sat Down and Fell Asleep. I was Amazed ! He has repeated this over/over. I bought two travel beds for my dogs. I didn't know which I'd like better. I wish I'd bought two of the other for travel. This bed is very good looking--great colors, very cute. The dogs also find it very comfortable. However, it attracts dirt. The light blue side gets dirty very quickly and requires washing. Though the bed washes up well, the elastic ties that you need to roll the bed up for travel broke pretty quickly. Now I have an extra dog bed, but not an extra travel dog bed.

We had just ordered these offline and are VERY pleased with the product! FINALLY a well made dog treat that they actually like. Here's why I'll be ordering more of these:

1. Our dogs LOVE them. As dog owners, you never know which treats are going to be a hit or a miss. Our dogs will do anything for these treats. As an added bonus, our cat loves them too. Strange but I don't feel bad feeding him these because all the ingredients are fine.

2. They're really high quality treats. Usually stick to Cloud Star brand for treats, but took a chance with Nootie when a lightning sale caught my eye on these. Only considered them since they were made in the U.S. with natural ingredients and reasonably priced. Big plus that Chicken is the first ingredient, and there are no grains or by-products. Huge fan of the fact that they included the ingredient list on Amazon, as many treats don't.

Every dog has been a fan, even our 'treat snob' approves. My only complaint was that not one of the packs were soft/moist they were too hard for me to break apart by hand. Only reason they lost a star.

If anyone is wondering about how big each treat is, on average they are about 1/3rd a AA battery. Since our dogs are all under 15lbs, I cut them into 12 pieces. There are about 52 treats in a bag, so I get about 600 pea-sized pieces by cutting them up. You can skip all this by getting the mini versions, but these were the ones one sale at the time.

Currently it is cheaper to buy the 6-pack than the single packs.

My beagle Ike loves these things! This was my first car seat and I got my money's worth out of it. We travel 7hrs every 3 months and I bought this for my cockapoo puppy. He used it comfortably until he was 14lbs. He is now 2.5 yrs. old and 20lbs eventhough outgrown the seat for sleeping comfortably he continued to ride in the booster but he needed the extra space to stretch and laydown so we recently upgraded. Sadly, it is a booster seat rather than a console. The console benefit is he sat closer to me and would lay his head on my shoulder while I drove. Bought this for our 7 lb Chihuahua and when it arrived I was surprised to see that it doesn't have a flat base, there is a lip in the bottom of the foam near the back, which I believe is meant to keep the seat from sliding forward during quick stops. The problem is we have an 03 Explorer and the heater vents to the back seat are located along the top edge of the console. This lip covers the vents. I closed the vents, but the foam still gets very hot, and I just noticed that a small part of the foam had melted onto my console. This was easy to scratch off with a fingernail, but I'm going to take this off and try to augment it before reinstalling. The dog enjoys it, and when he's not with us it's easy to unstrap the front strap and let it slide to the backseat floor. Would recommend, but it may interfere with anything located on the upper back of the console.

I'm so glad I got this car seat. My 3lb Morkie puppy loves it. He can lay down and stretch out completely in it now, so he still has some room to grow. He stays so calm in the car and I can relax because I know he's safe. We travel 2 hours to and from our camp every weekend and he just sleeps most of the trip. He loves being close to us and being high enough to see outside. I love that it doesn't take up a "person seat" like most other pet car seats, so we can still have two people in the back comfortably. The seat is well made, easy to install, although a little bit of a pain to take out if you need to use a different vehicle. I would suggest getting two if you alternate vehicles often. All in all a great product, very well made, and worth the price!

My pet rides in it comfortably. I am not sure how well it will fit him once he grows up (it may or may not fit him. we will see); however, since he is a puppy, this works out perfectly. I love the fact that it fits in between the driver's seat and the passenger seat, and it does not occupy any potential seats for humans. Plus, I prefer to have my dog next to me while I am driving.

There are three straps under the car seat lookout. Basically, one long strap goes around the passenger seat's back cushion, and the other long strap goes around the driver's seat back cushion. Lastly, the shorter strap goes around the console of your car. The only inconvenience you may encounter is using the console while your pet is riding in the car with you. But the car seat is light enough to be lifted up (after you remove the strap around the console, which is not a pain at all) when you are not using the car seat lookout.

The only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is because it arrived extremely late. It took about a week more than the estimated delivery date; however, it may have been Fedex's fault since they were the one who kept my package in one location for a week.

Once I contacted the seller regarding my problem, he/she contacted me right away with the Fedex shipping number.

All in all, I am glad I got this product. If you do decide to purchase this item as well, don't forget to get a dog harness because it is very dangerous to attach your dog's collar to the security strap that is built in the car seat look out (So attach the harness to the security strap to prevent choking the dog if it ever tries to get out of the car seat by himself).

Cheap NaturVet Bitter Yuck No Chew Spray

We have three dogs: a Beagle mix, a Pomeranian mix, and a pure bred Mastiff. They were chewing on our wood furniture and couch cushions. So, I bought this spray and applied it as directed. They kept chewing. So, I literally soaked the items with this stuff. They kept chewing.

All this stuff accomplishes is two things:

#1: It wastes your money. Let's face it, it's essentially water with some bitter rosemary extract in it. It's not exactly worth what they charge for it.

#2: It coats everything in a very bitter-tasting spray. So, if you put it on anything you handle or lay on frequently, this stuff will eventually end up in your mouth. Not to mention the taste of the overspray when you apply it.

Don't even bother with this. The only good thing I can say about it is that it is odor free.

You're best of trying other methods to prevent chewing.

Purchased this for a cat that needs to stop licking himself for medical reasons. I was suspicious since the ingredients are water, baking soda, and rosemary (my cats actually like the smell of rosemary), but I wanted to try something natural.

I applied the spray to the cat's fur and he promptly licked himself, paused, and then continued licking himself. I, however, got some of the liquid on my hand and later in the night touched my lips. Regretted that inadvertent action for the remainder of the night due to the lingering taste on my lips and tongue.

The cat has continued to lick himself in the area of application and actually spends even more time grooming himself now.

I am returning the product for "bitter apple", which is more effective.

I can't recommend this product at all. I bought it to stop my cat from eating cut flowers. After spraying the flowers my cat jumped right on the table and started chewing--he wasn't bothered at all. Meanwhile, I had the grossest taste in my mouth from the spray being in the air. Within a minute of spraying this my kids (who were in another room) began to complain of a nasty taste in the air. Even now, a week after using the product, I still get hints of it--it seems to be coating every surface in the house and anytime I touch something it clings to my hands. Definitely not recommended! I've used a bitter apple spray with great results. Only bought this because the shop was out of bitter apple and the sales person told me this was "about the same". It's not!

I can't say the if the product does or doesn't work, I can only tell you our experience with Bitter Yuck and our dog. Below is my experience with the product.

My dog had surgery and wore an e-collar for a few months so she would be more comfortable and not disturb the area that was healed. Upon the vet's suggestion we purchased Bitter Yuck. A few hours after administering the first dose we fed our dog her dinner; within a few hours she threw up. She threw up the next morning as well. We had not correlated that the vomiting was related to the Bitter Yuck so we applied it again that evening. The next morning she threw up again. At that point, I called the vet and spoke with them as I realized it might be this product. The vet concurred; saying the taste of the product is bad and might make my dog feel queasy. I was not worried about the product per se as I knew it was not toxic. I took my dog to the vet -and she was slightly dehydrated. I told the vet I shampooed my dog's leg to take the product off and she explained that it is difficult to wash off -the taste would be there for a while. My dog is now on a few meds, the product has not been used for 3 days, and she is still vomiting. The e-collar was working just fine; I wish I'd never listened to the vet.

My dog was sensitive to this product and it's use proved to be at much too great an expense to her health. I would never have used something like this to prevent a certain behavior on my human child and I should never have used this on my 4-legged child! She is equally important and loved by our family!

I would not recommend this product.

Which is not a good thing. I purchased this product as I have a teething puppy who is chewing everything she can fit into her mouth. I was hoping Bitter Yuck would discourage some of the chewing, but I was finding that it wasn't. So to test it further I spayed a healthy puddle of it in the palm of my hand. The puppy went crazy over it and licked my palm clean. I called my adult dog over and the result was the same. He loved it as well. I tried a similar product (also water based) called Phooey. Both dogs went nuts over this product as well licking my palm clean. Lastly I tried some Bitter Apple. This one they didn't like at all, but dogs took a lick and pulled their heads back in disgust.

While a nice concept, Bitter Yuck instead is an attractant and a treat. It encourages the exact behaviors it is marketed to prevent. At least with my two dogs, YMMV.

The "Zoom Groom" is the first grooming tool which cats really like. The soft rubber cones must feel very good because my cats will sit there purring while they're being brushed with the "Zoom Groom." And, the device collects enough loose fur to make a spare cat.

My two cats are a black short-hair and a white fluffy long-hair, and the "Zoom Groom" works equally well on both of them. The fur is easily removed from the "Zoom Groom." You just pull it out from between the rubber cones and it comes out easily for disposal.

(I find it's handy to use a plastic sandwich bag to collect the fur removed from the "Zoom Groom" because it allows you to wipe the fur off your fingers and overcome static electric cling. Besides, it's impressive to see how much fur is in the plastic bag -and not on your clothes, carpets or furniture.)

In my opinion, this pet grooming device is ingenious and effective. And it's very inexpensive. And, it may be one of the few products still manufactured in the USA.

I don't usually write reviews, unless I find a product that truly excells, and this one does. We have four cats, mother and kittens, who came to join our household after being born in the wild. The mother cat, who spent a good two years deciding to trust us and that we were okay (for humans), absolutely pushes the other cats out of the way now when she sees one of us pick up one of these brushes. She will even lie down and expose her tummy, although we're still a bit careful about that. Not because she would attack us in fear, but when we stop brushing her, she tends to try to catch us and pull us back, and she's still fully clawed.

Anyway, try this product. The cats love it, it's part of a great bonding experience, and they really do pull a phenomenal amount of loose hair off of the kitties.

If we're really in a hurry, (with four cats, that happens) we also like the gloves with the little rubber teeth, but this one catches much more loose hair.

I almost bought a FurminatorI have a cat, a dog, and a living room full of fur. After reading those reviews, I decided any product with enough 'you're using it wrong' stories and the words 'hurting' and 'pulling out' probably wasn't for me. Enter the Zoom Groom. I can not believe how much fur this collects, how much my animals love it, or how much less expensive it was than the (somewhat scary) Furminator.

You basically just ruffle your pet's fur with this in your hand, then brush it back down again. Then peel all of the hair out of the rubber spokey things. Repeat. They are softer than your fingers, so no chance of hurting them. None... & NO CHANCE of pulling out their healthy hair.

My only "problem" with this is that my dog and cat get super jealous when the other one is getting "zoomed" because they don't want their own zoom time to end. Also, don't use it under a ceiling fan (silly me).

Bought this to put on my dog's Molly Mutt duvet/bed. She doesn't really like it. She still prefers her bed pillow. This does come in handy to keep her from leaning on the hard wall, but takes up too much of the bed area. I also wish it could be made to go the long way, not the short way. It might be more useful for us. It washes/dries well, but has faded some. The construction is sturdy and so far, the zipper has held up well. Don't know if I would buy this again.

I just received the item today. Quite disappointed indeed. It is very, very cheaply made (in China as well). The foam is low quality and only about 2 inches thick at most, and is a cheap quality foam. The cover over the foam is low quality as well. It is not worth more than $15$20, (definitely not worth > $50.) , and I highly doubt it will last more than 3 6 months. I do NOT recommend this product at all. My recommendation is to go a local home health medical equipment store and purchase a twin sized egg crate mattress (for about $20) and cut it out to fit (you will have enough left over to make 1 or 2 more), and go to a local home improvemnt store and get a blue or gray colored tarp and cover the foam up with it. Another option would be to just get cheap illows at a local discount store, and cover them with the tarp.

Hey, so this pad seems great and fits perfectly. It looks easy to clean and seems comfy. My pad lasted about three days, when my pup decided it was fun to chew on. If your dog doesn't get distressed when alone or bored, this pad would be great. My solution to padding my dog house was to buy a bale of cheap hay form a local pet or garden store. now my dog has a comfy, dry, warm place to sleep that also is fun to roll in and scratch that back. She loves her dog house now!

This pad lasted approximately 4 hours before being destroyed by my dog.

The item is very lightweight, extremely cheaply made and it is certainly not durable. I would go so far as to say that it is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.

Petmate responded to my email complaint but they were dismissive and unsympathetic with regard to their substandard product.

I really wish that I had saved my money and not ordered this piece of junk.

We are now using a simple bale of hay to pad the dogloo and keep our dog warm at night and it is working perfectly and cost us just $5.

The Nylabone descriptions in Amazon leave alot to be desired; most don't indicate the size of the bone. I wanted a hybrid hard/soft bone appropriate for my 60lb Golden Retriever. Some of the reviews I read indicated that the nylabone product they received was too small for their dog, so I searched hard for a bone that was large. This bone (model NTG705P) is a little to big and heavy for my dog. She chews on it, but it is difficult for her to pick up, and it drops with a loud crack.

I bought this toy to keep my heavy chewing german shepherd busy. It worked great until he spent some time on the rubber "teeth" in the middle. If you dog tries hard enough, he will be able to rip the rubber apart and leave it on your floor for you. I still use the toy, but only when I can monitor. Once he gets going on the rubber, I take it away.

I didn't realize that the ends were bacon flavored, and when I smelled them they smell kind of funny.

My lab will chew on and through anything and for some reason he's not as excited about chewing on this toy. Eventually he was excited to play with it but he doesn't hoard it the way he does his other chew toys. Maybe it's just him and not the toy.

As far as durability it's great, my mega chewer hasn't made any marks and you can tell that it's good for his teeth and gums. I wish I'd bought this earlier for him!

We have a lab that will eat through anything and this has been the best toy for her. She has hardly made it through any of the blue rubber and would rather chew on the hard white ends that don't break off anyway.
