We purchased this crate (48x31x35) thru Amazon.com about 3 years ago and again 1 year ago (would you believe that someone actually walked off with it?) and each of them, within just 1 year, had rods snapping or bending.

This issue is easily "fixed" by jamming pvc pipe into the corners to support the roof and I have had no complaints since.

If the rods were less fragile, it would nearly perfect as the cage keeps the hair contained and it fit in the back of our Suburban quite nicely. Having our 2 black labs within a cage in the back of the truck made it much easier to control them while the hatch is open (packing or just fresh air) and allows us to pack bags around the cage (not so easy to do when there was a separator bar that they would just knock down).

No we cannot see out the back, but generally if the dogs are with us, so is all our gear for a family of 5, so I cannot see out of the back anyway.

In our previous SUV (where we just used a divider), the hair seemed permanently attached to the roof liner, and now, there is never a hair outside the cage and we have a white SUV with light interior.

It is heaver than I anticipated, but still easier to transport than the metal crate and easier on the interior of the truck and tent.

I do miss being able to stack items on top of the cage when camping (when we brought the metal cage).

This model (25"L by 18"W by 21"H) is just barely big enough for my 50lb dog to curl up in, but I bought it for a 16lb cat to travel from NYC to Texas in the cab of a truck with me and the afore mentioned 50lb dog. It was as good as that situation could have possibly been, and the product performed well.

In Texas we added a Boarder Collie puppy to the family, and it has become both his bed and his training crate. I open two sides when we're around so it's more like a bed, then I just zip the bed closed to make a crate when he's unattended.

The material has proven very durable: it's been attacked by a bad@$$ cat for 1800 miles and for 3 weeks by a teething puppy, and it has not been penetrated.

Purchased this for our Great Dane before a 12 day camping trip and it was perfect. The convenience of being a lightweight, breakdown crate was immeasureable! We used it for transport and for when we put him inside the trailer while we were gone for a couple of hours and it definitely served its purpose. Would not recommend for dogs that are restless or chewers, as it is not a hard sided crate. Our lazy boy loves to just sleep while inside, so it worked great for our use!

I now own 2 of these crates. I have avoided soft sided crates because of what I've seen as difficulty in setting them up, carrying them, transporting them and lack of safety for my dogs. This crate has changed my opinion of soft sided crates. I love the pockets on the sides, the way I can leave the sides open or close them, the two doors, and being able to stake them down. My dogs go in willingly and appear to feel secure in them. They're lightweight, very easy to put up and attractive. More colors would be good.

I ordered this hoodie for my ~13 lb. Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix. Her measurements are 10" neck, 17" chest, 15.5" length. This sweatshirt is pretty long on her, but it covers her and keeps her warm. However, if she were a boy, you'd for sure have to cut/sew or fabric glue the underside, otherwise it would get peed on. She has a broad chest, and this shirt fits her very nice. It's very soft, and it has washed well.

my cat midnite has attached himself to this mouse (which i now call "the dirty rat") and won't give it up. while i am told that at the age of 7 months, he couldn't possibly be reacting to the catnip, i'm not sure that that's true. anyway, he loves it, and that's what's important to me.

my only problem with this toy is that it's covered with sort of a shaker knit that midnite is destroying. he keeps pulling and clawing it so there are tiny strings hanging from it. that little pompom on the end of its tail came loose long ago. i had to snip it off to keep midnite from removing and swallowing it. i like the furry ones better because they don't present such a problem. the bunny is the cutest. kinda wanted to keep that one for myself.

i bought three of these play-n-squeak toys, but my cat never has access to more than one at a time. this is because i have to periodically hide them so he'll stop following me around, toy clutched his mouth, begging me to play with him.

these toys are worth buying. i may end up with a menagerie.

This product works just like Capstar! Keeps my dog and cat flea free for a short period of time (like it's supposed to!). Still trying to fully rid my house of all the fleas, but I'm hoping with continued use of these pills and extensive cleaning I will eventually have my house back.

I will say to be careful when opening the plastic container these pills come in--I spilled all mine on the floor at first :)

I open 1 capsule over wet canned catfood and feed 2 cats. This seemst to keep fleas under control around here. I don't even treat very often -maybe once a month and 1 cat goes in and out of doors. It's so much nicer than administering harmful topicals to the cats. One of my cats literally cries like a baby when I used to apply frontline, etc. on her. That stuff just cannot be good for them! This and a good vacuum is a much safer alternative!

We have used the REAL Capstar many times before and this is not even close. This seller claims same active ingredients but there is no way to know for sure. These capsules come LOOSE in a homemade container!!! They DO NOT come in a manufactured blister pack in box with real documentation. Fleas are not affected by this product either. If you use the REAL Capstar, you will see the fleas vacating the animal's fur in as short as 30 minutes.

I wasn't sure what to expect on this door, as far as how it fit. Even the actual package had this picture of a dog sitting in the opening of an igloo doghouse -with no door in sight. It's like the Mystery Product.

I have uploaded a bad cell phone camera picture here on amazon (sorry about quality and light, we're having a storm) so you can see it actually on an igloo doghouse.

* The door is slightly triangular in shape, smaller at top. This confused me at first because the opening does not seem that shape. (It isn't, actually.)

* The Igloo has some built-in screwholes a few inches inside at the top-sides of the opening area. You're supposed to screw it in before you put the top of the igloo on. We already had it put together but managed anyway.

* The door is a soft rubber/plastic, about the thickness of a silicon baking mat for example, but a little firmer. It's not stiff.

* The door is about 90% opaque. It's not white but it's definitely not 'clear' either. I had the impression that you could see through it when I bought it. Being able to see 'through' it well is very important to cats. But you really can't much. Bummer.

* The flap (it's a 'rubber flap' not a 'door') doesn't come down to the bottom edge of the doghouse. Also it sits "inside" the house a bit.

So when they make remarks regarding protection from rain, understand that the only rain this will protect the animal from is sideways driving rain, and at that, it still would be puddling up below on the front side of the flap after hitting it -which is INSIDE the doghouse. Maybe you want to slightly elevate the other side of the house so rain will stay pooled near the door and not the rest of the house (esp if you have a heater in there).

In all honesty, I realize this is a custom/specialty product for a specialty item, but given the nature of it, I think it is overpriced and ought to cost about half what it does, especially since prime shipping isn't available.

Medium Dogloo is a great Catloo! This will work for cat & a little dog: put the outdoor rubber rug on top of the entrance of Indigo home, sides of the rug hanging to the ground, or to the floor (rubber side-up, carppet side-down). It's not too beautiful, but very functional, even better than the door. It'll extend the home and protect the pet from the rain, snow and wind.

this dog house does its job.my 80 lb pitbull seems to fit in it.and i like how it snaps together and apart,which makes it easier to clean.the plastic material it is made with,was made well.my dog tried to chew it,and hardly made a dent in it,so he quit chewing.has all rounded edges.however only thing that i did not like is the door flap was sold separate and hangs a little short.

This cover is not for hyper dogs who go in and out of the igloo. Either that or the cover does not stand up to the elements, winds or snow blowing through. Also how its snapped onto the igloo does not last long. Mines ended up being torn up and had to remove it. The dogs seem to enjoy it though because it blocks alot of wind. However I felt in there a couple of times and it was still a little chill, even with a heated blanket. But that is for the igloo review. Maybe something made of more dog-resistant material or better snaps would make this a much better product.

i have an outside cat that i bought this house for. he didn't have shade or shelter and didn't agree with being inside. i put the house together and have placed it where it will stay. i feel like if it is moved too much it will start getting weak at the attachment points. i also don't think it would hold up to a heavy animal. i have noticed that it is about ten degrees cooler on hot days and 10 degrees warmer on cold days inside the house. the cat loves the house. most times i come home he is laying on his porch waiting
