Small size slicker is great for close areas on a dog's face, feet, etc. Hair easily comes out of slicker for quick cleaning.

I bought this for our dog, since we have this cat, who when she gets mad at him, will pee on his bed. Once cat urine gets into the padding, it's impossible to get out, and I have had to throw away several beds. This bed does appear to be waterproof (I tested it with the hose). My only complaint is the "texture" of the material on the outside. Dog hair sticks in it like crazy. Our dog seems to like it, but he sheds white hair, and before long, the bed looks a mess. I have tried a high-power vacuum; using sticky pet rollers; lint pickups; ... etc. And nothing works! I just can't get all the hair out. So don't expect it to look nice for long. I have a terrible time trying to de-hair the cover and it's too much work for me, so I think I'll try another waterproof-type bed the next time.Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>
Not that I was expecting much, but I don't think this keeps much out (in terms of rain, etc.) I guess it serves the purpose of providing an entry way into our cat's house but nothing more. That being said, it was easy to install and decently priced for what it is. I like that it's clear so we can see if the pet house is occupied or not.

Our dog didn't sit or lay on thest pads, but we found a better use. We use them for bed protectors for senior incontinence. They work very well.

Both of my dachshunds have major skin reactions to most of the off the counter dog shampoos (Red, itchy skin! Oh my!). Not only does this shampoo smell fantastic, it never gives them a reaction! It leaves their coats so shiny and soft it's like they are puppies again. Yes, I'm guilty of holding my pups up after they dry off to touch my cheek with that softness (I feel like a really creepy downy commercial).

My German Shepherd mix chews through toys in no time! I've found the ratio is usually 1 minute per dollar I spend on the toy before it is a pile of rags or plastic bits that she then eats. The only exception have been the JW Pet Bad Cuz toys I got on amazon. They are no longer sold but since this is the same company I thought I would give it a try. My dog LOVED the fabric!! She loved it so much she had it ripped off and eaten within 2 weeks. I expected it to be stitched in not just adhered with glue. She still has the little ball with the feet. Amazingly she hasn't really chewed the feet much. Within 5 weeks she had chewed through the ball part where the fabric used to be enough where it no longer squeaks. She still loves the ball and we aren't missing the constant squeaking. This is not a substitution for the Bad Cuz toys as I had hoped they were but still a decent toy. I've now had it 7 weeks and if she keeps at the rate she has been going I expect it to be a pile of plastic bits within the next month and I'll have to toss it out. If your dog is a puppy or an aggressive chewer don't expect this to last long but still worth the $. I'm also not afraid she will destory the entire thing and start eating the pieces when I'm not home the next day like with the other balls (tennis, baseball, dog balls, raquet balls, rubber balls that go on the end of my knitting needles, wiffle balls, the kids' plastic balls, etc)

The dog loves them, which is good for her, but for those of us who have to be around her after a heavy treat day it is beyond rough. We cut it down to between 2-4/week and her gut seems okay for it.
