I know the description says its a "door flap"... But from the picture I expected it to be within a frame... Not just the plastic flap.

Not that I was expecting much, but I don't think this keeps much out (in terms of rain, etc.) I guess it serves the purpose of providing an entry way into our cat's house but nothing more. That being said, it was easy to install and decently priced for what it is. I like that it's clear so we can see if the pet house is occupied or not.

The flap was too long for the house that I ordered and installations instructions weren't correct, it said to take bolts out and run through holes of flap but the house I ordered didn't have the star bolts so no way to install without drilling holes and buying bolts.
