After purchasing our second extra large cool pad in a month, please be aware that the covering for the pad is fatally flawed. After just three weeks, small cracks developed in the cover on both sides.

Our retailer replaced the cool pad and within a week the second cool pad cover was showing signs of wear including another long crack.

Our 76 pound golden loves the pad, but it is clear that the material used to cover the pad is not adequate to handle normal usage of a large dog.

We assumed that since the cool pad is sold without an additional cover that the covering was capable of handling large dogs.

It is not.

In our opinion this very expensive pad, while a great idea, simply needs to have a much tougher cover.

Large dog owners should be very cautious if you purchase is for a large dog.

I ordered this product for my Keeshond who doesn't tolerate the heat very well. She needed some encouragement to try it out, but once she did she stayed for a long nap. She seems very comfortable using this pad and I'm glad I bought it. The size (large) was perfect for her and for my male English Springer Spaniel. I may be purchasing another one for him. This pad does not make the floor or the dog damp as did other pads I've used in the past. Outer material seems very durable and easily washable too.

Pad works great BUT...make sure you get the new model (gray border, not totally blue). My 1st one lasted less than 1 month; it got hard as a rock around one edge. It was just past 30 days and Amazon would not replace, refund or credit. After contacting the Green Pet Shop in the Chicago area (who acknowledged the issue with previous model) they provided me with a replacement of their newest product and satisfied me enough that I purchased another. That's what I call great customer service from a company who obviously cares...after all, it is GREEN!

I am a huge believer in this product. My senior Golden needed the support of his orthopedic bed, but it always made him hot and he'd he go lay on the closet patch of cold, hard tile to cool off, which is not ideal for his joints. We found the perfect compromise with this product, as the coolness lures him onto his bed, and once it activates on touch with the cooling effect, he settles in for the entire night on his supportive bed. The best part is that he settles in so well that he stays on it for many hours in a row. After 3-4 hours, the pad actually warms up in correspondence to his body temperature, which is a great benefit to his arthritis. Like many other reviewers, I did not want to order something messy and water-filled or electric for safety reasons and for ease when we travel. I also wanted to mention that I believe the other reviews about the covering of the product may be outdated; the cover on ours is not fabric and has yet to display any wear and tear. You may want to order a size up--my Golden strategically positions himself on the Large, but he'd probably fit better on Extra-Large.

This pad has been a great benefit to our dogs. Although there was learning period, I have seen both of our German Shepherds lay on this pad during our hot Texas afternoons and evenings. I would recommend the Green Pet Shop Self Cooling Pad to anyone, particularly dogs with heavy coats.

These pads are good enough for a small pup, they are incredibly small and made with poor quality materials. Spend a few more bucks and get better ones.

This crate is truly amazing. I have the 48" version for my Bernese Mountain Dog. The copper hammertone finish is beautiful and does not look like a "cage" in my home. The crate does not rattle, as the handles are covered and the clips are extremely quiet. It also has rubber feet on the bottom as to not scratch my floors. The option of having the door on the top is FABULOUS, as well as having a door on the front and side. I can place the crate against my wall without having it "stick out" into the walk area. The doors are incredible has they have extra locks. My Bernese is quite creative and figured out how to slide the bolt, but it doesn't matter with this one! The doors have additional features that keep it from opening by her, but easily by me. The wire is also have heavy duty, so it weights a ton-but I know will last a lifetime. I LOVE THIS CRATE!

Buy Snoutstik Nose Balm for Dogs - Lavender

While my dog did not mind the smell of this at all, she licked it off the moment that I put it on her nose. This happened almost every single time. I was able to distract her from it a few times by giving her a bone immediately after applying it, but even then I saw no improvements. If anything, her nose seemed more irritated from the licking. After using the entire stick, her nose is still dry and cracked and I am out several dollars. I wish that I would have skipped this and went straight to the vet for something different.

Smells lovely, but did not achieve it's intended purpose.

I got the lavender snoutstick for my french bulldog. While it moisturizes, it also has such a strong scent that it was making me sneeze (and the product doesn't go on my nose)! It was as strong as a solid perfume. I couldn't imagine liking this on my own nose; I know my dog didn't either. I bet everything smelled like lavender to him for hours.

I discovered this line of products about a year ago when looking for a holistic approach to dealing with my cattle dog's chronic ear infections. The Opie & Dixie ear care products cleared everything up without any pain or side effects to my dog. So, of course I looked for an O & D product when the weather started to get cold and Freckle's nose started to get dry. Snoutstik is easy to carry with me when we are out and about, and Freckles lets me apply it to her nose without any problem. It's such a relief to know that we can head up to the snow for a weekend or just a walk to the dog park without worrying about her nose getting dry!

I've only tried the lavender, but I assume that the other "flavors" are just as wonderful as this one!

This stick has helped my Kerry Blue's nose. Tulip's nose is on the dry side, especially when the weather changes, as it is now. My Tulip let's me apply this soothing stick to her nose and I can instantly see the moisturizing relief. The fragrance is mild, and the stick easy to apply. I cheat and rub some of the stick on my elbows! I've tried this and the pumpkin and like them both. This is such a wonderful line. I can't say enough about the shampoo.

I have been showing dogs primarily at breed shows and agility trials for many years and have had soft crates in the past. I purchased the Bergen because it appeared to be well made, I liked the sizes it came in and it was a reasonable price. So far it has lived up to my expectations...in fact I purchased a second one. One of the things I like about it is also one of the reasons it lost a star...to set it up you have to slide a crossbar into a pocket down each of the four long sides of the crate. This process makes setting it up and taking it down a little bit poky. On the plus side, the one piece bars mean there are no locking joints to break which is one of the issues with some of the other soft crates on the market. So it's both a plus and a minus but overall all I like the crate. Now if it just came in purple...

This is an elegant, quality crate that sets up and takes down easily, very travel-friendly. Our 9-month-old Weimaraner adapted to it right away with just a few treats to tempt her in. She sleeps in it every night. She also slept in it without hesitation on our first trip to West Baden Springs Hotel, an outstanding, pet-friendly, grand hotel. We use a Kong crate liner with padded sides that is much larger than the crate because it cushions the builtin bars on the bottom of the crate, and also use a fluffy dog pillow, making it a more comfortable and cozy nest. Works great for a well-trained dog that wants to be in a "den" to sleep or for quiet time alone, not recommended as a containment crate. Delivery was fast and item is exactly what we expected.

I actually got this for a CRAZY good price.....I bought it for my 2 cats cause I am moving and driving 18 hours. I have the little cat carriers but they wouldn't have been comfy in those and they love being together !! This is PUUUUR-fect !!!!! They have penty of room and both their bed fit in it. I set it up in less than 10 minutes and they haven't gotten out of it yet !!! I guess they are ready to go !!!! It is heavy duty and I can't see them scratching it or ruining it !!! Great buy and a great product !!!!

my cat midnite has attached himself to this mouse (which i now call "the dirty rat") and won't give it up. while i am told that at the age of 7 months, he couldn't possibly be reacting to the catnip, i'm not sure that that's true. anyway, he loves it, and that's what's important to me.

my only problem with this toy is that it's covered with sort of a shaker knit that midnite is destroying. he keeps pulling and clawing it so there are tiny strings hanging from it. that little pompom on the end of its tail came loose long ago. i had to snip it off to keep midnite from removing and swallowing it. i like the furry ones better because they don't present such a problem. the bunny is the cutest. kinda wanted to keep that one for myself.

i bought three of these play-n-squeak toys, but my cat never has access to more than one at a time. this is because i have to periodically hide them so he'll stop following me around, toy clutched his mouth, begging me to play with him.

these toys are worth buying. i may end up with a menagerie.

My 4 year old fully grown Yorkie-Pom LOVES her new house! She fits perfectly in it (she's about 17inches long) with a little more leg room to spare. I'm sure she likes it in there for privacy, softness, and warmth (for the winter time) since we've hard wood floors. The roof, I must say, has kept up since we'd put a stuffed animal on top of it for decoration. :P Other than that, it's really cute seeing her lay/sleep in there for "nap times".

The only CON I have for the house is the padding that came with it... it's thin and made of foam! But when I added an extra baby blanket in there, it made the bed part more "cushiony" for her to lay in.

I wanted a carrier that was roomy enough that my paranoid cat would not freak when I take her to the Vet. Standard carriers (plastic) make her feel confined because she can't see out very well. This one fits her well, although I would have preferred a little more height so she could sit up without ducking her head to look out the screens. However, I was aware of the measurements before ordering.

This is a very well-made carrier at a reasonable price. It has metal pipes as framing, the material is tough, and the screening seems strong. The carrying handle is comfortable to use. It carries well with a 12# cat in it without losing its shape. It folds down easily and reasonably flat, with a handle for carrying. Makes it very convenient to store.

Reasons that I'm rating this 4 stars instead of 5? It came with absolutely NO instructions. I understand that it only has so many parts, but a picture would have been helpful. It is not real easy to put together, (arthritic folks take note) as the pipes have to be pushed outwards to stretch the unit, then brought together at exactly the same time. And then the plastic sliding part at the end of one pipe slides into position to lock it and the opposite pipe into place. Now come on, guys; if we can hang a tag on this product that brags about the "Thinsulate" bottom pad, then we could include a picture to help out the 'mechanical-challenged' customers like myself. So, minus one star.

Now, I'll share some additional information about the carrier, the manufacturer, and Amazon for your enjoyment (or not). I have never had to return any item that I've ordered from Amazon that THEY have supplied directly, so I was not familiar with their return policies. The first carrier that I received from Amazon was defective. The pipes were simply too long to fit together, no matter how much I tried. I shouldn't have to give myself a hernia to assemble something. So I contacted the manufacturer, PetLife. I wanted to make sure that I was assembling it (trying to, anyway) properly. They were reasonably helpful, and we concluded that I must have received a defective unit. They would however, charge me a shipping charge to return the defective item to them for a replacement. Since I'm a Prime member with Amazon, I receive free shipping when they supply and ship a product. So I contacted Amazon to see what could be done that wouldn't cost me. They were extremely helpful and apologetic. A replacement carrier (that they tested before shipping) arrived the VERY NEXT DAY. The pickup of the defective carrier was also arranged by Amazon and occured the day after. I was impressed and satisfied with Amazon's Customer service, and the exchange didn't cost me a dime. Which it never should, in my opinion, when an item is defective--manufacterers take note, please.

No rating on the defective carrier (mistakes happen).

4 Stars for the 2nd (replaced) carrier.

5 Stars for Amazon's customer service.

It came faster than was hoping as we were leaving in four days to stay in a very nice hotel. Not only were we pleased, but I have suggested it to several friends who travel with their pets. Wrong Size Ordered The crate itself is great. However returning the wrong size was almost impossible even though I eventually bought and received the correct size. I had to spend hours on the computer getting a refund and the stocking fee waived. Not sure I would use this company again.

It is very hard to find winter dog wear that fits the proportions of my dog correctly. Amazon does not provide the size guide so I actually googled this sweatshirt and founding the measurements per size on another website. The most important thing is to make sure the girth (chest) of your dog is measured and the product will fit as well as the length. I measured my dog and the small/medium was closest to his length but this medium one matched his chest measurements. So I ended up purchasing both and decided to just return whichever didnt fit. This Medium ended up being wayyyyyy too long for my Miniature Pinscher. The small/medium was a little more snug but the length fit so I decided to keep that one. Because dogs have different chest and length measurements and no dog is exactly alike, I would recommend googling the product to get the size guide and measuring your dog before you order so you have an idea of which size you need. Other than that, this is a great sweatshirt. It's warm and insulated enough to act as a coat in the cold weather and I keep the smaller size for my dog for walks in the winter months.

This medium sized sweatshirt fits my 14 lb dog. The quality is excellent, although it will shrink a little in the dryer. This sweatshirt covers the whole body of my dog and the front sleeves protect her front paws from the weather.
