I have the regular size and oversized for my 2 small(not tiny) dogs. These are great! They are comfortable, sturdy and le my dogs look out the window and curl up and sleep on long drives. Get the versions with a drawer. It is worth the extra $10. The drawer is long so it holds food, toys, leashes etc. I thought they were expensive but when I set out to make my own it would have cost almost as much for the materials. These loo like they will last a long time One of them is a couple of years old and its cover has washed up a little fuzzy, but that is ok. The bed part of the foam wasn't as cushiony so I added a piece of memory foam under the cover and it is as good as new.

If your dogs are larger than "toy" size I would get the oversized regardless of how little they weigh. Your dog will aprreciate the roomier size! Amazon had the best priceseven better than ebay!

I purchased the Snoozer Oversized pet car seat for our Westie...he loves to go for car rides. We had some long trips planned this summer and I didn't want him on my lap or my husbands the entire time. I ordered this car seat specifically because it will go either in the front or back seat, and allows Kramer to look out the window, which is his favorite thing to do while in the car...all while being secure in the car. He loved it from the first short trip....and usually sleeps most of the time. There is plenty of room for him to sit up or lay down and sleep. I would highly recommend this to anyone who travels with their dog.

Tuffy, my Dachshund, loves car rides. He is a rescue that I got in November 2009, so I try to do as many things as possible to make him happy in his new home. So every day he gets to go for a car ride to check the mail, go to the market or whatever.

Before getting this seat Tuffy would love to sit on my lap. While that's not illegal yet (the Governator vetoed a bunch of laws that the "no dogs on laps" law was appended, so it did not pass.)

Anyway, I had my eye on the Lookout 2 seat for about a month. A couple days ago I took the plunge (Was about $125 with tax at a local pet store. Ouch).

Bonus Tip: I got the deluxe model that includes a plastic slide out drawer in the base. It's about the size of a shoe box and is covered, when closed, with the black quilt material covering the base. I recommend you get the model with the drawer because it holds a lot of stuff and it's handy to keep everything in one spot instead of all over the car floor. In Tuffy's drawer I have an extra leash, treats, pee pads and his travel first aid kit (eye flush, gauze bandages, iodine, etc.)

Bonus Tip: I placed a pee pad and small towel on the base (floor) of the seat so to keep the beautiful wool lining clean. Although the cover is washable, it's far easier to simply change the pee pad and towel.

I have a MINI Cooper and I bought the medium sized seat. (Tuffy the wiener dog is about 18" long, not counting nose and tail, so I did not want him bending his back since Dachshund's have delicate spines. I tried a small and while Tuffy fit fine, he did not have the spread out room that the medium provided.

The medium is so large that it takes up the entire passenger seat, but I did not care since the point of this is to use the passenger for Tuffy, not Tuffy and a human passenger. :)

The seat installs as advertised. Literally in 30 seconds it is set up. You simply place it on the passenger seat and pull the car's seat belt across the pet seat so that the strap that normally crosses your waist is set across the slot cut into the rear of the seat. This makes a very secure connection for the pet seat.

Bonus Tip: My car has the ability to turn off the passenger air bag. I made sure that the air bag is off when Tuffy is in his seat.

After fastening the car's seat belt to the Lookout 2 you then wrap around the included strap to the waist strap part of the seatbelt. The other end of the strap has a clip that you connect to your dog's harness. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO THIS, ATTACH THE DOG'S HARNESS TO THE LEAD OR STRAP THAT COMES WITH THIS SEAT! Why?

When the dog is "strapped" to the car's seatbelt he can move around, but only within the seat. So the dog does not go running around, he remains in the seat. It only took about an hour in his seat after which Tuffy stopped trying to jump out of the seat and into my lap where he used to sit on car rides. Moreover, if you slam on the brakes, because the seat is secured with the seat belt and the dog is secured to the seat belt with the strap, everything stays put on sudden stops.

Also, I have a convertible MINI. Imagine the horror if I slammed on the brakes and Tuffy went flying out the car. So to prevent his from happening I leave the passenger window up when Tuffy is in his seat. With him connected to the seat belt that provides even more security on sudden stops. (Make sure that your seatbelt is working properly by jerking it. Do this to see that the seatbelt locks when there's sudden stops.

As said above, get the model with the plastic slide out drawer, it's extremely handy. Before this I used to have Tuffy's travel essentials spread out all over the car. Now, the most important items are in one place (treats, dog first aid kit, spare leash, poop bags, bully sticks, two additional pee pads).

Actual Use

Tuffy took to his new seat like a fish to water. The first thing he did was start to chew the foam and wool, as most dogs would do. I stopped him and after a few "Tuffy NO!" he got distracted with the joy of being able to see all around him, so he stopped the chewing.

I can tell Tuffy loves the seat because he looks around a lot and when he wants to rest he lays down and rests his head on the seat edge. And he is happy because he can face me and be close, like he wants to be on rides. When he is facing me, his head is about at shoulder level to me and about 18" from my head. So it's easy to pet him as I drive and he gets his fix that he needs every so often.

Bonus Tip: I have a thick, plush bath towel that I keep between the pet and car seat. When Tuffy wants I cover him in the seat with the towel. He loves that when after playing in the park he wants to crash and check for cracks in his eyelids. The seat has high sides, it's wool and the towel adds to making him feel warm, comfortable and secure.

All in all this is an excellent product. The dog loves the view the seat gives him and the seat is way safer than the dog sitting on an unpadded passenger seat (the Lookout 2's foam padding gives far more protection for the dog than if all you are doing is strapping your pooch to a seatbelt.

Bonus Comment: It's a laugh riot when Tuffy is sitting in his seat. This is because the seat puts him at window level to where everyone can see him. People in cars and even pedestrians go nuts when they see this cute wiener dog sitting in his plush "throne." Literally at every stoplight people wave at Tuffy, smile and some people even talk to him. Often times people don't see that the light has changed to green because drivers are busy "flirting" with Tuffy. LOL.

So if you get one of these be prepared to be the center of attention on the road. If you don't like that then you better have your windows tinted. :)

I have two very wiggly and cranky dachshunds who love to ride on someone's lap in the car. I have tried other containment products, and either my dogs could twist out of them, or they would whine and wail because they couldn't be up front and look out the windows. They both love this Lookout car seat! It's plush and roomie (the medium is perfect for two mini-doxies) and they no longer have issues seeing outside in the backseat. It works perfectly with their Puppia vest harnesses, so I didn't have to force them in an uncomfortable custom harness. Most importantly, they are safer in the event of an accident. It's a huge lift of my shoulders.

The seat is very well made and comfortable for the dogs. Every car seat I've priced at the petstore is so hard, I can't imagine a dog enjoying that! I like that the cover is removable in case it gets dirty and the pull-out storage drawer is a great place to stuff their leashes so I am not looking for them when we get to our destination. The seat gives my dogs a great boost to see out the window, which is a huge bonus in keeping them from fussing. Installing it is a snap. You take the seatbelt in your car and run it across the raised back of the Lookout. It clipped right into place on the first try and has been snug. Even when my dogs first fought it, the seatbelt stayed fast. Removal is as easy as undoing the seatbelt and taking it out.

Your dog may be able to jump from the Lookout onto the seat of your car though. The strap that connects the seatbelt to the dog's harness adjusts to very short, but it slides back and forth along the seatbelt if you don't safety pin it in place. I found that having two dogs clipped in at once using a leash coupler often prevents one of them from bailing. Worst case, if one jumps out they are still attached to the seatbelt by their coupler and harness in the event of an accident. I greatly recommend this product if you have a dog that normally travels on a lap. It's the next best thing and you'll have great peace of mind.

We had one for about 7 years and they hold up great, and we would take our dog everywhere and even when we got our second Cavalier King Charles they both used the same one, of course we have the large one.

We recently went cross country so we did not have to put the dogs in cargo and got are 2nd one. The dogs had plenty of room, slept or looked out the window the whole way. If you like to travel with your dog this is a great product that is safe and compfy for your dogs. Even comes with a strap to keep them even safer. They are amazing!

The problem with animal clothing (like people clothing) is that sizes are a bit subjective.

This particular hoodie x-small, fits my 6 pound chihuahua who often wears a small rather than an extra small. She has lots of fur making it snug (in a nice way) and it is long enough to cover her belly without being too long.

We have the small size in regular cammo which fits a 12 -14 pound dog nicely. It is loose on our 10 pound dog.

I hope that helps as you try to figure out the sizing.

This is a nice lightweight cloth, great for fall mornings or hanging out in a cooler home. Seams do not have any problems on either dog.

This toy is a great idea. My dogs loved the crackling sound that came from having an empty water bottle inside. A couple of weeks ago I bought one from another company. The fabric was much sturdier than this toy has. My dogs loved it so I decided to buy a couple more. For variety, I decided to order this toy thinking it would be just as sturdy. Within half an hour, my dog had bits of the fabric scattered all over the floor. She is having fun with it so I gave it three stars. By tomorrow morning, though, I think the body will have to be thrown away.

This was a great toy that my 11 mo beagle loved...while it lasted.

This plush toy is a "stuffed" animal that has an empty water bottle inside instead of stuffing. It has a velcro flap that opens at the bottom so you can easily replace the bottle when it's worn out. The bottle gives a fun crunching sound and the material makes the bottle last longer and keeps it from exposing sharp edges that can cut my puppy's mouth.

I used to give my pup empty water bottles to play with until he started tearing thru them too fast. I bought this in the hopes that he could have fun crunching them again without the danger of ripping the bottle up.

Early on I noticed that he popped the seam on one of the bottom feet. Luckily, there's no stuffing in the feet and they aren't connected to any main seam on the body, so I cut off the feet without any real harm to the toy.

Worked great for the first few weeks, then I left it out, unsupervised, and it got shredded. The material was just too thin to withstand long-term usage.

I've since found a bottle cover made by Purina that looks kind of like firehose material. It's lasted much better/longer.

If you plan to let your dog use this toy in small doses and are good about picking up their toys immediately after use, then you could get some good mileage out of this.

I bought this toy based on the review that it was durable and for heavy chewers. My dog who is a one year old miniature schnauzer loved the toy and the crinkle at first sight and touch. five minutes later she has chewed apart the velcro and the top of the bottle was sticking out. I forced it back in and rezipped the velcro. 20 Minutes later the same thing happens and on top of that, she has chewed off one and a half of the cow's leg!!! This was an expensive toy for 30 minutes play time!!!! My husband makes better crinkle toys!

These things hold up to quite a bit of chewing. They aren't indestructible if you have an avid chewer (I have a lab) but they hold up better than any other plush toy we've ever tried. And, it's great that they use a bottle as the noise maker. You can feel good about reusing a plastic water bottle and it's easily replaceable when it gets too flat to make noise. Great price here, too. I bought the first one at the local pet store and it cost me about 3 times what it cost here.

My dog loved these squeaky balls. The sound may be a little annoying sometimes though. However, I was mistaken in assuming that because these are balls made from the Kong brand, that they'd be pretty tough. My dog punctured holes in 2 of them within 15-20 minutes, and then it was no longer squeaky. Then he ripped the fuzzy fabric covering the ball off of it and tried to pull it off.

My dog is 35 pounds and a 9 month old puppy. He is pretty destructive, so within the context, this probably wasn't a good buy for him. This is a great squeaky fetch ball for dogs, but not durable like the other kong toys.

My dog loves these! she usually rips tennis balls to pieces but she hasn't even tried to destroy them. I think it's because she likes playing with them and making crazy noises with them so much. She likes to play with all three at the same time and hide them under a blanket. Some people might get annoyed by these, dogs enjoy hearing themselves make noise (mine does at least). These are well worth the price. One thing though, i ordered these from amazon and it took over a month to get them.

I always shake my head when people talk about how their dog chews tennis balls up then complain about their durability. Tennis balls are horrible for their teeth! It wears them down so you should only allow them to chew them only a little during normal play, not lay around chewing them as if they were chew toys, which they are NOT. Then again from my experience most owners would rather a dog harm themselves as long as they leave them alone so they can stare at their cell phones.

Now to the product! They're basically tennis balls with a squeaker in them. The medium is the same size as any tennis ball so you can use your Chuck Its with these. Because of the squeaker they won't bounce anywhere near as well as normal tennis balls. My dogs love squeaky toys and she loved these! We went to the beach today and we played with one of these for a couple of hours. About one hour in however I guess a tooth was placed just right when she chewed down and it pushed the squeaker right into the ball. It no longer squeaked but we still played with it for a while longer before I let another dog take it.

Now I'm down to two so I'm ordering more. They're toys, folks! If a dog has fun with it and it breaks oh well. The fact is your dog had fun with it and that's the most important thing.

KONG usually makes a very good product when it comes to dog toys. We have four dogs, two Boston terriers, and two of mixed origin. This are extremely active animals; strong animals and all love their toys and play. We have had great results with this brand of toy in the past but I must tell you that we now have great reservations as to the balls being used here.

Our terriers, in particular the Boston terriers have extremely strong jaws. They can completely destroy just about anything they take a notion to destroy. Fortunately they are well behaved dogs and we do not have a problem with shoes, furniture and such. But toys...wow, we do have a problem.

Anyway.....

These balls lasted about twenty minutes tops...each. The fantastic four obliterated them. Now this did not upset us all that much as we have grown accustom to such over the years and after all these things are toys and meant to be eventually destroyed. What did upset us though was that the squeaky mechanisms came out of each and every one of them. This is not a good thing! They, the squeaky thingies are of a perfect size to either be swallowed or worse yet, choked upon. Fortunately this all happened when we were present and playing with the dogs and were able to get them away from the little guys before disaster.

I will admit that all four of our dogs loved the squeaky sound the toys made and I do see that a lot of folks like these toys and are pleased with them. I suppose it all depends upon the nature of your particular companion as to weather or not these things work. I personally cannot recommend them. I do give these two stars because the dogs did appreciate their brief encounter with them.

I have been showing dogs primarily at breed shows and agility trials for many years and have had soft crates in the past. I purchased the Bergen because it appeared to be well made, I liked the sizes it came in and it was a reasonable price. So far it has lived up to my expectations...in fact I purchased a second one. One of the things I like about it is also one of the reasons it lost a star...to set it up you have to slide a crossbar into a pocket down each of the four long sides of the crate. This process makes setting it up and taking it down a little bit poky. On the plus side, the one piece bars mean there are no locking joints to break which is one of the issues with some of the other soft crates on the market. So it's both a plus and a minus but overall all I like the crate. Now if it just came in purple...

This is an elegant, quality crate that sets up and takes down easily, very travel-friendly. Our 9-month-old Weimaraner adapted to it right away with just a few treats to tempt her in. She sleeps in it every night. She also slept in it without hesitation on our first trip to West Baden Springs Hotel, an outstanding, pet-friendly, grand hotel. We use a Kong crate liner with padded sides that is much larger than the crate because it cushions the builtin bars on the bottom of the crate, and also use a fluffy dog pillow, making it a more comfortable and cozy nest. Works great for a well-trained dog that wants to be in a "den" to sleep or for quiet time alone, not recommended as a containment crate. Delivery was fast and item is exactly what we expected.

I actually got this for a CRAZY good price.....I bought it for my 2 cats cause I am moving and driving 18 hours. I have the little cat carriers but they wouldn't have been comfy in those and they love being together !! This is PUUUUR-fect !!!!! They have penty of room and both their bed fit in it. I set it up in less than 10 minutes and they haven't gotten out of it yet !!! I guess they are ready to go !!!! It is heavy duty and I can't see them scratching it or ruining it !!! Great buy and a great product !!!!

I was so excited about receiving this harness. We were planning on using it when we go to the beach next week! I received it today and put it on my dog. I took a picture and sent it to my husband. After I sent the picture I tried to take it off but I couldn't get it unsnapped. I ended up having to make it larger and pull his front legs through the back side and slip both circles over his head. Not a great experience! I am in the process of trying to return it! I will not be exchanging, that's for sure!

This is a great into toy, at least for aging dogs. My eight year old German Shepard (he's a service dog) has never been attached to any toy. He loves playing ball, carrying sticks, chasing frisbees. But when we're done playing he's done with the toy.

For some reason, maybe because it's a toy we use indoors, he carries the darn thing around the house, puts it in his bed, and brings it to me without being asked. He likes it so much, I've ordered one for each of the homes in different places we visit for at least 24 hours.

Because he's recently started suffering from hip dysplasia, we had to stop his one indoor game, tug. He loved playing that almost as much as chasing balls. With the Chuckit Indoor Shaker, I can throw the ball anywhere in the house including against walls, (it doesn't leave a makr) and when he brings it back, I pull on it slightly letting him "win" and he runs around shaking the thing in his mouth.

Now, people have complained, and rightfully so, that the toy isn't very rugged and dogs will pull on the threads, unwinding the exterior. My Shepard's litter sister does just that with hers. However, keep in mind it is a toy meant for being tossed around indoors. This Chuckit does the job.

The name made me think it'd rattle or something but it doesn't. I got this and another Chuckit! indoor ball. There is a difference, the other has a soft fleece like material and is softer but more stiff than just regular stuffing as where this feels like it has a rubber structure inside. Like how some stuffingless toys have a webbed rubber structure. Anyways it's just a little bouncier. My dog gets kinda bored with this fast. He liked the loop a bit better. He is an Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix.

My dog likes to shake this ball by holding on to the "chuck-it" tab at the top. It also fits in the indoor launcher. My retriever has an awesome time playing inside fetch with this and the rolling toy. Don't let your dog sit and chew this though, it comes apart pretty easily. It is really light-weight so it is good for throwing indoors, especially if you have bad aim.

Love the orange, and the size is great, but it's not the easiest crate to travel with. Even when folded down it's quite bulky (the size of the base), and the set up is kind of tricky you have to shove two metal bars into holders at the top of the crate. I like how you can open both side walls and the top so your dog can see out, or close them up if it's bedtime. Probably the worst thing for me is that three of the walls and the top are all secured with zipper and it took my puppy about ten minutes to figure out how to open those zippers from the inside. So if you have a little Houdini like I do, I recommend a more secure crate!

Bought this after reading the 1 review it had, can only assume that quality control is the cause as to why my crate was unusable after 2 shows. Zipper attachment was poor on one side of the crate, and at 1st show one zipper pull came out where stitching was not fully sewn to crate door to wall. At the 2nd show, the other zipper pull also came off, rendering this crate completely useless. Will stick to the Elite Fields crates from now on, have 3 that have been through multiple shows with no problems.

Great crate. Like the design. Plus easy to set up, looks great, strong frame, many venting options.

Cons Would prefer the frame to be self inclusive, like the Noz2Noz, rather than having to store the top bars in an exterior pocket.

Also, if you're thinking about this for flatfaces, remember that mesh crates are generally hotter than wire or even some airlines. The mesh is fine enough that there isn't a ton of air flow, unless you set a fan up in or adjacent.

I love this crate and would order another.

I gave this 5 stars even though my dog can't really play with it. It's great quality, love the blue color, and my dog loves gripping it with his little teeth. However, like an idiot I didn't realize that it was I believe12.5" long and actually pretty heavy material. Needless to say my 12 lbs. puppy (probably 17-20 lbs adult) can't actually lift it off the ground.

Assuming that other dog owners who are purchasing this probably have dogs heavier than 20lbs, this is a great chew/throwing stick!!!

It's a stick, not gonna argue with that. It's good for tossing or playing fetch with your pooch, but I think the "chew toy" part of the name should be left out. I left the dogs with the stick and it was 1/3 eaten in about 20 minutes. Lots of purple pieces in their poop. I keep it put up now until I use it for play, then it goes right away again.

I bought this for my black lab puppy, hoping that it would last. Within 15 minutes she had chewed off little pieces of the edges, which of course left more edges to chew off. I had bought 2 of these, threw this one out and gave away the other one to a more mellow chewer.

My dogs (lab and an Australian shepherd) both love them. Unlike other products, they're not hollow; solid rubber all the way through, meaning they last for a long time though daily abuse. I highly recommend.
