While my dog did not mind the smell of this at all, she licked it off the moment that I put it on her nose. This happened almost every single time. I was able to distract her from it a few times by giving her a bone immediately after applying it, but even then I saw no improvements. If anything, her nose seemed more irritated from the licking. After using the entire stick, her nose is still dry and cracked and I am out several dollars. I wish that I would have skipped this and went straight to the vet for something different.

Smells lovely, but did not achieve it's intended purpose.

I got the lavender snoutstick for my french bulldog. While it moisturizes, it also has such a strong scent that it was making me sneeze (and the product doesn't go on my nose)! It was as strong as a solid perfume. I couldn't imagine liking this on my own nose; I know my dog didn't either. I bet everything smelled like lavender to him for hours.

I really thought this would be the size of a deodorant, but it was a chapstick container. Really small for the high price.

I discovered this line of products about a year ago when looking for a holistic approach to dealing with my cattle dog's chronic ear infections. The Opie & Dixie ear care products cleared everything up without any pain or side effects to my dog. So, of course I looked for an O & D product when the weather started to get cold and Freckle's nose started to get dry. Snoutstik is easy to carry with me when we are out and about, and Freckles lets me apply it to her nose without any problem. It's such a relief to know that we can head up to the snow for a weekend or just a walk to the dog park without worrying about her nose getting dry!

I've only tried the lavender, but I assume that the other "flavors" are just as wonderful as this one!

This stick has helped my Kerry Blue's nose. Tulip's nose is on the dry side, especially when the weather changes, as it is now. My Tulip let's me apply this soothing stick to her nose and I can instantly see the moisturizing relief. The fragrance is mild, and the stick easy to apply. I cheat and rub some of the stick on my elbows! I've tried this and the pumpkin and like them both. This is such a wonderful line. I can't say enough about the shampoo.
