My dogs absolutely love these treats and unfortunately the company that makes these have discontinued them! I haven't broken the news to my dogs yet! ha. I did contact the company and they confirmed that they are no longer making them. They said most people preferred giving their dogs softer treats to prevent them getting choked on the hard treats. My dogs eat them like a bone and my little maltese will chew on hers for a long time. Now I will have to search for a new treat for them.

This is a very good lead and I have ordered more of the same leads. The Expression lead works well, but the flat cable does tear after it has twisted many times. I can live with tearing and my dog does not chew the cord as before. Flexi has a very good product in the Expression line of leads.

So, I have a beagle. She's a perfectly lovely little dog, but can be quite hyper at times. Ok, more than hyper, she can be crazy. Particularly when the rest of the family comes in in the afternoons. She jumps all over them, runs in circles around the house, and takes a good hour or so to return to non-frenzy state. I gave her one of these little calming treats today and voila, no jumping, no running. She was still her normal happy self and has been playing as normal, she just isn't wound quite so tightly after having the treat. She accepted the treat willingly without me having to hide it in anything. (But if I am to be completely honest, she is not the most discriminating eater, so make of that what you will.)

Bought these for my 3 year old, 90lb chocolate lab (field breed, not english breed... aka the super crazy labs). Had to leave her unattended in a friend's house while we went out to a soccer game, and have used them SPARINGLY when we visit friends and she needs to be mellow for a few hours (despite walking her, playing fetch and dog parks, she will still jump around and get into everything).

When she eats them, she tends to be very mellow and more likely to nap than whine, bounce around, or otherwise get into everything. I would give this 5 stars, but I really dislike the idea of medicating a dog for its natural behavior/energy/curiosity on a regular basis. She is a lab they have a ton of energy naturally. Also beware the energy spike when these wear off. Your dog will want extra attention/exercise when these wear off.

But if you need a mellow dog in a pinch (leaving them unattended in a strange place, visiting dog-shy relatives or friends, these will work. Just follow the directions on the bag and don't give them too much.

For the last two months, we've shared our house with a now 17-month old Weimaraner rescue. Like all adolescent Weims, he is sneaky, stubborn, exuberant and...sensitive. Like many rescues, he is still working through the effects of what came in the three homes he lived with before ours, including three months in multiple dog foster homes. So. sometimes even after lots of exercise, patient training session and 24/7 tenderness, his edginess remains. These calming chews work very well for us.

When we give one of these after his evening meal, he becomes much less agitated. As a result, we can watch a movie without constant interruptions, and the cat can enter the room without the dog springing into full speed action. I don't think there's any placebo effect since the "patient" is a dog(or maybe we're just more relaxed after he takes it in anticipation of its calming effects)...and it calms him down.

Bottom line: after taking this, we enjoy calming experience for *every* member of the house.

Our small 12 year old Jack Russell/Rat Terrier mix gets dog really excited every time we take the 3 hour trip to our vacation home. She starts stressing while we pack the car like she knows where we are going and she doesn't want to be left behind. We go about once a month and she pants almost the entire way, driving me crazy. We have given her these to her 3 times and each time about 10 minutes later she is calm and then goes to sleep for most of the trip. It's great! She is not doped up and likes the taste very much. I highly recommend these.

Most of these kinds of things I don't believe in and find don't work.

Also, I almost NEVER give 5 stars.

Here is one of the exceptions. These work GREAT! One of our dogs has major separation anxiety. Also, when something bugs him like the smoke alarm or distant lightening that we can't even hear. Then he gets all buggy and nutty. These calm him down in about half an hour.

I'm very glad we found these.

Maybe if you have a super calm dog that doesn't get excited in a kennel this could be useful. I was looking for something to keep my dog from spilling the water bowl on the ground in the kennel and figured something raised would help. The idea is not bad it's just not made to withstand ANY kind of jostling. Even attaching it or putting the bowl in or out is fickle and results in falling off half the time. I might try attaching the holder with zip ties or something, but as it's made it doesn't work in my book.

I got this for chicken grit and the bowl split?? There was no reason for it to split, nothing froze and it was just some chicken grit and the chickens pecking at the grit. Now I need to find a bowl to fit the hanger, I don't have any of the packaging. Very disappointed in the cheap quality.

Amazon sent me a new one because of this one cracking and the new one is also cracking so that is 2 in a row that have failed.

Shipping is too expensive to send back so I have to modify to fit. Not a huge deal but if you are buying for your birdcage's preexisting dish holders look elsewhere. Otherwise they are fine. They are metal cups.

The invention of the "Kong" is maybe one of my favorites (second to air conditioning) and I know my dog agrees. I have a greyhound who suffered a slight bout of separation anxiety after I adopted him from the track. I needed something to keep him busy and get him excited about my departure to work. The Kong is the answer. I'm sure this sounds weird, but I bought 5 of them one for each day of the week I have to work. Every Sunday I make a combination of oatmeal, non-fat plain yogurt (good for their tummies) and peanut butter. I heat up the oatmeal and add the yogurt and peanut butter while the oatmeal is hot it creates a really nice combination of delicious things to fill the Kong with easily. I take the Kong, put some kibbles of his dog food in first, then I pour the mixture of items into a large, durable ziplock baggy and cut a hole in the corner. I squeeze a good amount of the oatmeal, yogurt, and PB into each kong, leaving a bit of space for a milk bone to stick out of the bigger hole on the end of the Kong. I put all 5 in the freezer and give my greyhound one each day. He gets SO excited when he sees a kong come out of the freezer, that he runs full speed into his kennel and waits for me. The Kong keeps him occupied for HOURS and because it's frozen, it lasts even longer and he spends forever licking and biting at the Kong to get the goodies out. Dogs need something to do with their mouths. They use their muzzles like we use our hands. A stuffed Kong can prevent so many behavioral issues like destructive chewing or excessive vocalization from boredom or anxiety. Also, Kongs are without a doubt the most durable toy on the market. They last ages and ages. I recommend them to everybody with a dog.

My German shepherd loves this toy. As both my husband and I work we have to leave her alone for 8 hours a day. I give her a kong filled with treats each morning and often when I get home that she is still working on getting the stuff out. Any toy that keeps this chewing machine occupied for that long is worth its weight in gold!

I LOVE Kong. I have the medium blue and white puppy kong and I have the large red ones (because they came with the Kongtime I bought). I have a 6 month old border collie puppy and he can play with the large ones just fine. The medium ones fit in his mouth just ight though. I like both but I like the large ones because I will stuff them with a mixture of dry and wet food and freeze it overnight. I put it in his crate with him the next morning before I leave for work and it lasts him a long time. In fact This morning he found his King from yesterday and kept finding small amounts of dry food that was stuck inside. He figured out to pick it up and "throw" drop it on the ground to knock them loose. This a great toy for normal chewers who get bored. IF your dog is chewing these apart then you need the black kong for strong chewers.

When you first look at a kong dog toy there is no tug handle, nothing to chew on (which is a plus if you are a human) and not alot of excitement for the dog but stuff the thing full of peanut butter, put it in the freezer over night and the next day, your dog has a whole days' chewing and licking and fun in store.

There are many dog toys that promote stuffing stuff inside them, but most of the time the stuff inside comes outside pretty quick and you are left with whatever attention span your dog has leftover. I was told about freezing peanut butter (buy the great big store brand jars because you will go through it quick) from my breeder, my trainer, and the cashier at the petco store, so I figured someone had to be right and it was true. When I left for the day out went the dogfood dish and the kong. Naturally that great smelling dogfood was eaten first, but afterwards it was a peanut butter flavored kongsickle for hours. This size was well suited for a german shepherd dog, they make smaller and xtre-large sizes for yorkies and the "small horse" breads, but size wise this worked out great to give her a chew treat that squeezed out a little peanut butter each time, then served as a tongue exerciser. By then I was back home and the kong was predictably empty of all the good stuff.

I'm ordering two more here on amazon $2 cheaper than the petstore so that I can have a set of 3 in the freezer simply because it takes a while with a knife (I like to use a plasticware knife just to avoid putting silverware down the kong) to stuff these things. With 3 kongs, I only have to load em up every 3 days. A big jar of peanut butter has lasted over a month.

One trick with the knife is to slice off a piece of peanut butter from the giant size jar and then poke it through the hole and against the side of the inside of the kong in one motion repeat all the way around and you've made the tongue exercizer finish this off by stuffing peanut butter down the middle and even with the edge of the kong and it's now a chew toy that gives out that yummy tongue coating peanut butter for hours. Your dog will like it and have something other than shoes to chew on when a puppy.

I'm very happy with the design now knowing how to use it properly. I bought it again so that must say something!

I bought this for my shiba inu in a medium and it seems to be running a bit too large. The problem that I have with it is that it slips around and no matter how many times I tighten it the darn thing keeps going back to the original spot. When I put her leash on she is able to pull right out of the collar.

I ordered the Gingerbread House Puzzle more because of the Christmas theme than for its usefulness. The items inside the house are okay as dog toys, but I'm not sure how well they are going to hold up when actually played with. The house itself has a cardboard bottom that I don't care for as much as the Bee Hive and the Squirrels Nest that are soft all around. All in all this product is pretty much as I expected and looks cute sitting amongst the Christmas decorations.

I bought this for my Boston Terrier pup. Some how she knew what it was for and what to do with it. She went pee on it right away! I love this. There is no odor as long as you use the enzyme spray. Solids can be picked up like you would outside but you may have to hose off the turf pad every now and again. Not a bog problem for me. Highly recommend this for small dogs!

This is a great manufacturing company. Their sizing is what it says it is going to be. This particular vest is medium weight with a water resistant top and lined with a light weight anti pill fleece. The neck as well as the underbelly straps are out of durable Velcro. The underbelly strap lays well forward so male dogs won't accidentally wet on it. I was quite surprised when I took it out of the box at how small it really is. My mini-schnauzer is only 15 pounds and he couldn't fit in it so I decided to take out my tape measure and see for myself. When you measure the diameter from seam to seam on the bottom of the bed it is 19" and that is if you really stretch it. As you see it pictured, you are likely to think that the height at it's center while it is resting on the floor is 21" as advertised however I placed the tape measure inside of it and measured only 14". Now if you lift it off the floor holding it from the top and press down in the center of the bed to stretch it out and lay it on it's side, you can stretch it out to 21" however, it would be too narrow for anything larger than a mouse to enter it as at that point, it has no diameter! I am adding some pictures I just took so that you could see what I am referring to. The bed has no "body" to it so when you place it on the floor it just lies flat but if you lift the center and move it just right, it will stand up with the height at about 8 to 10" for a minute or so before collapsing into a flat round circle that measures no more than 19". If your pet does venture inside, the bed has almost no padding whatsoever so make sure you use it on a thick carpet or similar padded surface. If you have a very small dog like a Yorkie or a small cat, they might enjoy this bed but my little pup is too big for it! I notice that a number of other reviews that gave it 3 or 4 stars stated that their dogs wouldn't go inside it or that it was too small or lacked sufficient padding. One reviewer commented that he would not recommend it for dogs over 6 pounds due to it's small size. I hope this helps.

My yorkie loves this bed. She spends countless hours playing with it by running around inside it, digging in it, laying on it and sleeping in, around and on the bed. It's a beautiful pink just as the picture shows and it seems to be indestructible and made of a very cozy, comfortable material( really, I layed my head on it and it's very comfortable)The top does not stand up as I thought from the picture but it really doesnt matter because she would have flattened it down to the way it is to be the most comfortable for her and I like that the company thought of the dog first.

I have had 4 different Chihuahuas try out this bed and each one did not use it much even with a small comfortable blanket inside as a nest. I thought it would be a great buy since Chihuahuas naturally love to burrow. The cost at its current price of around $32 is a little steep in my opinion. For the same cost, I get a comfortable blanket and a comfortable yet inexpensive bed and the chihuahuas prefer it significantly more than this bed. The bed has no support, which is a bittersweet feature that I found more detrimental than beneficial.
