My puppy is very picky about everything, so I had been on a hunt for something that he will find comfortable and cozy. The kennel we had for him before was a metal one, which I didn't like as much... and neither did he. It takes Jamocha awhile to warm up to anything, but he absolutely loves this house! I ended up putting his very fluffy bed pillow inside, and removed the bottom of the dog home because it was wood covered with some... I don't know what that is. But his pillow is much softer, and he actually climbed in on his own.

I especially love the fact that there are 3 windows (two on the sides and one in the back), and the front zips open and closed. You can also leave the front open, and it (as well as all three windows) roll up and velcro open. There are velcro pieces attached to the windows and to the home itself so that the windows, once they are rolled up, can be held open by sticking to the sides of the dog home.

This is also very lightweight, so I am looking forward to using this for road trips, for stays at friends' homes, etc. I was previously worried about where I was going to let him sleep because I did not want him to get comfortable sleeping with me out of town, and then try to break the habit once we are at home. I'm really pleased with this product.

there are always positive and negative about anything so pro are has a view from every side that can be opened or closed, has two small pockets on the side for a little storage, comes with steaks so you can stick it in the ground if winds are strong outside, has a lightly padded mat already inside that is washable, can easily fold up to a very thin size easy for storage, good material. cons: my dog is smart so can sometimes escape but don't think that's the products fault, the wires inside that keep it up will bend and lose its shape if anything heavy falls on it like my daughter, has a bit of a weird smell not too powerful like the other ladies review but its just a new product smell goes away within a week or so. amazing product for the price couldn't be happier I expected much less.

We ordered this to use when traveling with our 16-lb dog after reading reviews on this and a lot of other similar products. Unfortunately the second time we used it the zippers that hold the sides up came off, rendering it useless. Our dog was pleased -us, not so much.

I totally agree with Natalie's review. I also have a pug and hardwood floors. My pug loves to cuddle in to the sides and rest her head up on the side like a pillow, or stretch all the way out (the 26" size bed has plenty of room for her to stretch out). The color is a light sage green with light tan interior, just like the photo. My dog is elderly and a little arthritic so the heating element is a nice touch in the winter, it provides a small amount of gentle heat, just enough to take the coolness out of the floor below her and to give her old bones a little boost in the winter. I don't use it all the time and keep the cord tied up when not in use. You could probably zip it inside the bed cover too. The flaw with this bed, as Natalie's review pointed out, is that while the cushion is soft and nice (the heating element doesn't make it hard inside), it squishes down thin and there is no foam bottom on this bed so the result is very little cushioning between my arthritic old dog's body and the hardwood floor. I was hoping that with the foam sides the bottom below the cushion would be foam but it is just fabric. However, I solved this issue by ordering another pet bed, this one basically just a rectangular piece of orthopedic foam with a washable cover, and placing it under this heated oval bed. Voila, the ideal combination of cushioning, warmth, and snuggle-ability. I ordered the Terra Pet orthopedic foam bed from Amazon for this purpose, it was relatively inexpensive and eligible for Prime, and it has a washable cover and a non-skid bottom which helps it stay put on my hardwood floors. One end of the Terra Pet has a little white rounded "pillow" built in, but I got the 36" x 23" size Terra Pet bed and so this 26" oval heated dog bed sits perfectly on the flat brown part of the Terra Pet bed. My pug is snoring away quite loudly now in her fancy heated bed as I type.

My 9 year old dog has bad hips. The first day I got this, I turned it on for about 20 min then called her in to see her new bed. She stepped carefully into it, sniffed it, turned around a couple times then plumped her butt down and didn't move for the next 18 hours!! She loves it!!

I was elated to finally find a dog bed completely covered in a microfiber material, without spending $150 so I did some research on this specific product, and made up my mind this was the perfect bed based upon other reviews, so I ordered the 31X24" sleeper and was I ever disappointed!!!

1. The actual dimensions of the bed I received were only 29X22 at the widest points.

2. There is NO padding underneath this bed, so unless you use the supplied pillow, your pet might as well be sleeping on the floor.

3. The removable pillow is extremely plush and provides no support.

4. The foam walls are VERY flimsy and the bed does not hold its shape.

5. I did not even attempt to test the heater since I'm already so disappointed.

6. The fabric has a very nasty greasy feel to it as though it needs to be washed before first use.

This bed was immediately placed back in the shipping box and returned to Amazon for a refund.

The measurements indicate this is a bigger bed then it really is. It is about the perfect size for our 15lb Sheltie, but I was hoping our dog that is 50lbs could use it. The larger dog only fits it if she is curled in a very tight ball. It is lightly padded. Just okay. Nothing to get excited about. Our Sheltie does use it when the nights are cold. It gets warm without getting overly hot.

Perfect size for him and he sleeps through the night on this. At first I was concerned because when I plugged it in to let it warm up to see how hot it got it didn't seem that warm. But my elderly puppy loves it and that's all that matters. When ordering my biggest concern was if the size was right for him. This is perfect for a 25 to 30 lb animal.

Neat 'n Dry Dog Training Pads -Large Size are the best doggie wee pads I have ever used. The small size is a bit too small (even little dogs need room to sniff and circle), but the large is perfect. It is the most absorbent pad so there is no puddle under the dog's feet while she is peeing. The borders are also good which is important to me because my dog often pees near the edge, which is a problem when the pads have a plastic border so that the pees runs off and onto the floor. These pads are good even along the borders (as long as the dog doesn't totally miss the pad alltogether).

Tried a lot of other brands and this is the best by far. "Neat n Dry" says it all. These pads are super absorbent, and they turn urine into a gel. Translation = no more drippy messes. The size is just right for my dog too. I have a Havanese who only weighs 14 pounds, but even little dogs need room to move around. These pads are expensive though, so most people like myself will try cheaper brands first. None were much better than using newspapers though, and I wasted a lot of money in finding that out.

I received this product about 3 days ago and by far these are the worst puppy pads I have dealt with. I literally put up the pee pad before bed and waked up in the morning to pick it up and noticed it was soaked underneath. I have bought several different brands over the years. I never had a pad before that if I go out for the day to work, When I get back home I go to replace the pad and find soak through the bottom. I am just grateful I have tile floors. Let me preference this, this is used by a small dog. Most of her pee spots are size of a dollar coin. On the other brands of pads she has pee on, Hartz, Arm and Hammer, Nature's Miracle etc, I have never had this issue before. It has been reasonable for me with every other brand to be gone for about 10 hours, come home, pick up the pad and not have it soaked underneath. I really have to question a lot of these recent positive reviews. Maybe the positive reviews from 4 years ago dealt with a better quality of product but this pad does not live up to any reasonable expectations, especially after buying about 5 different brand of pads that never had any soak through underneath. If there is a review you are looking for to trust, trust mine and trust the negative ones. I do not do product reviews and in order for me to get on my chair to post one this product has to be absolutely the most dreadful item I had to dealt with in this product's category.

Save yourself a headache, do not buy these pads. It really angers me that a product that average's 4 stars burnt me so badly.

******Update for clarification 8/03/13******

So it has been two years since I wrote this review and have looked over some of the comments and figure I answer some of those responses here.

First the Chihuahua using the pads is a 5 pound female. She always went to the middle of the pad, squat, and then pee. The wet spot would be exactly underneath in the same location of her pee spot.

There was never any peeing done on the edges were it would seep underneath nor would I complain about something like that.

There has been several reviews after mine that has stated the same experience. Maybe it was a bad batch but at the time I had ordered I had saw complaints of the same problem.

Currently I use the Amazon link Hartz Home Protection Pads for Dogs, 50 ct., Hartz Protection Pads. They have the same technology were it turns the urine into gel. Once again though, I have bought several different pads as an avid dog owner and these were the only ones that ever leaked underneath on me. I get these though at the local Costco were it is cheaper than Amazon but not everybody has a Costco membership. Costco does sell 100 of those Hartz Pads for about 16 dollars which is a better deal.

But all in all, I always have bought the cheapest pads and none of them had ever leaked except these.

My stay-at-home dachshund and Yorkie are very spoiled for cleanliness and these wee-wee pads hold more moisture with no scent than the cheaper brands. I find it very convenient to have a latrine at home and use about one or two pads per 24 hours for back-up bathroom purposes. The small size is fine for small dogs and the price is very good in this package format.

We previously used these pads when they had different packaging and were much less expensive and the pads were great. They raised the price and must have done something to the quality of the pads as they are TERRIBLE. My little 5 pound dog's pee goes right through them onto the floor (which defeats the purpose of the pads) and has us cleaning the floor numerous times a day (defeating the entire purpose of the pad). I find it hard to believe that nobody can make a pad that is actually absorbant enough to handle a little dog. I was actually thinking of trying to double up these pads to see if that way the floor is not soaked so often. These pads were a complete waste of money and were some of the worst pads I have ever used. I strongly recommend that people use other pads as these were TERRIBLE.

I am a postal carrier and purchased the dazer as a first line of defense against dogs. I easily see over 100 dogs a day and when a dog barks at me, I hit the dazer.

I have nearly worn out the battery testing this little device. I cover many routes and have tested this device over 1000 times (easily). It has worked tail-tucking-excellent on only 4 dogs. It will stop about 50% of all dogs from barking for a few seconds. And about 30% of dogs from barking as long as I hold the button.

For a postal carrier this is great because it quiets down my day, but I'd only use this as a primary defense if I had a can of mace as back up--which I do.

I also agree that it works much better on mid-size dogs. Nearly no effect on small dogs--the ones that yipe and bother me the most--darn.

I normally don't make time for reviews but this item is so wonderful I want to post flyers for it throughout my neighborhood as the barking dog problem is rampant. The short version...The pros: It will quiet a barking dog with sensitive ears,it really does shut them up! The cons: It doesn't work through walls! You have to be near the dog (w/in 50ft) for it to have an effect. Get this item if you have a barking dog problem and an inconsiderate neighbor who refuses to do anything about it.

The story: Everytime anyone used to go outside of my newly purchased house, the neighbor's dog would bark incessantly. Not to mention the fact than anytime anything happened w/in earshot the dog would be barking. I asked the neighbor if she could do something about this and she replied, "He's a Lab, they just bark". Unacceptable and not true, only untrained ones do. I tried dog treats, I tried coaxing then I resorted to the hose, and all it did was raise my waterbill and make a large stripe in my lawn very green. So we built a large privacy fence (at our expense) and the barking did not stop. This "Dazer" was my last hope. So the day came to try it out (read: "the moment it arrived in the mail" comes WITH batteries!)It works exceptionally well!!!! I can't tell you how empowering this thing is. I feel like John Wayne. To finally have something to stop the barking. It's so peaceful when my family, friends and I go outside. If the dog starts, I walk over, aim it in the dog's direction push and hold the button and say "Quiet", the animal stops and runs in the house so quickly, you'd think I'd maced it. So I am covertly training my neighbor's dog for her! I was skeptical but relieved to have a tool to bring respite to this barking phenomenon that appears to be taking over the peaceful homes of America due to socially irresponsible dog owners (don't get me started). PS: I love animals. I have 2 well trained dogs myself, that have never needed a Dazer as I took them AND myself to dog training courses. (I'd never heard of it before until I Googled "how to stop your neighbor's dog from barking") Get this, if you value peace and quiet.

Add me to the growing list here of people who swear by this product and are amazed at its effectiveness. It really does work, so much so that I felt compelled to tell others.

Like other reviewers, I bought the Dazer in desperation after all other methods had failed to stop my neighbors' two Schnauzers from barking at me and my children every time we tried to use our own back yard. When I first used the Dazer on them, the dogs actually stopped mid-bark and looked at me as if I had just called them Chihuahuas. When they started to bark again, I Dazed them a second time and again, they stopped instantly. I then gave the now-silent and clearly befuddled mutts one final shot of ultrasonic goodness for good measure (heh heh), at which they turned and scurried off into their house not in pain, but clearly annoyed at whatever sound the Dazer puts out (humans cannot hear it, nor can my two elderly dogs).

The mongrels and I repeated this scenario for two more days after this, and that did the trick. Now when anybody in my family goes into the back, they either run off or ignore us completely. Oh, they still bark sometimes, but not at us. Like John Wayne (as one reviewer put it so well), I keep the Dazer clipped to my waistband just in case I need to remind them what it sounds like. I might even have done so once or twice, but that cannot be confirmed.

I don't know if the thing works on all dogs, or if it stops a charging dog, and I hope never to find out. I wouldn't rely on the Dazer or any other device to protect my children from an attacking dog, anyway, as Mr. Schinzer below might. But I know this: the Dazer has made my back yard a fun and QUIET place for me and my family to enjoy once again.

Now, if it only worked on loud people...

I have three large dogs next door that bark and howl all the time! There are two rots and one chow/husky mix and they are constantly waking up my 15 month old. I decided to get the Dazer 2 because of the reviews and the price and I am SO GLAD I DID! I stand out my back door and point it at the fence where the dog is (about 25 feet away through a 6 foot wood fence) and press the button for about 2 seconds and at first they just stopped barking for a minute, than barked again so I set it off again and they ran inside. Now whenever they bark, I set it off and they tuck tail and run in the house. Now they rarely bark! 1 month later: If they do bark all I have to do is open the sliding back door and they run in the house. I would defiantly call it a SUCCESS! I could KISS the inventor!

I am very pleased with the Dazer!!

The next-door neighbors own 2 dogs that they by the way they don't care about hence they leave them out in the backyard all the time... for them to bark and torture me very effectively.

The `fence' between the 2 houses is a 6-feet wall. When someone comes out to the backyard the dogs immediately run towards the common fence and bark as loud as possible; though they are small/medium-sized, their barks are quite loud and bothersome.

I used the Dazer today for the first time... I heard them barking and went out into my backyard and went close to the backyard where they ran to immediately, barking and barking non-stop.

I `dazed' them once and they immediately ran away from the fence and one of the dogs quit barkingthe small one. The larger dog -though also ran away, kept barking.

But I decided to invest 5 minutes to train them and stayed there so every time I heard barks -mostly the large dog because the small one wouldn't bark again, I hit the button on the dazer and though the dog became more irritated, it was clear that something was bothering him but he ended up quitting the barking...I know I probably will have to invest a few more days/weeks to fully train them, but it was very effective.

It is wonderful, it works!!!! I couldn't hear a thing but clearly it was very effective on the dogs... I am very happy with the product, it works!!!!

I purchased this costume for my 12 lb. Mini-Schnauzer to wear for Halloween. It is beautiful and well made. The colors coordinate well and are bright and cheerful, especially on the netted fairy wings on the back. My only complaint is with the sizing. I always buy Medium sized sweaters, vests, etc. for her but, some of the reviews I read indicated that this item runs larger than expected, so I ordered a size Small. I couldn't get it past her shoulders. With only a few days left til' Halloween, I reordered this costume in a size Medium, and it was too big. I had to alter it to fit, otherwise the fairy wings would fall to one side of her back. On Halloween day I contacted Amazon to ask about returning the Small sized costume. The seller sent an email stating that it could be returned as long as it was in new condition and still had the tags on it, which it was & did. The message also stated I would need to make an online return request, which I was confused about, so I called Amazon again for instructions. On Nov. 2nd I placed the online return request, and explained that I had to reorder a larger size. My request was then denied by the seller, stating they could not accept costume returns after Halloween. I CAN understand their reasoning "to a point" but, I am now "stuck with" a dog costume my dog can't wear, therefore, for ALL of the above reasons, I would be very hesitant to purchase from this seller again. There are other local merchants like Michael's, Party City, Walmart, etc. that sell good quality, less expensive pet costumes, not to mention, are much easier to deal with when it comes to returns/exchanges. Just saying!

This dress is simply adorable. It's the kind of cuteness that is adorable on its own without trying too hard (and certainly not over the top). The skirt is especially cute as the material is flowy and very girly. It actually looks like it's made from material that would be used for little girls clothes instead of your average Halloween costume. It also must be very comfortable because my puppy wore it without any complaint whatsoever. The wings arrived flat but can be gently bent upward to give it definition. My little 7 lb Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy fit perfectly in a size small (with just enough room for her to get a little bigger over the next week when it's actually Halloween). Definitely worth it!

The packaging info was helpful after I received it. A medium was too big for my 8.2 lb dog. According to this chart size a chihuahua would be an xs but I think my pup would be a small as her back dimensions are 12 inch in length. Again helpful info they should have on the website.

This is a very well made crate. The tray slides out nicely after you unhook the safety latch for it. the latches on the door have a hook to prevent your pet from letting themselves out. The only thing I would change is adding a door to one of the sides. I'm a little older and larger and it's hard for me to get in the smaller door on the end. But I DO recommend this crate very highly.

These are very simple to make and my dogs and my mom's dogs all love them. Just make sure to have the dogs eat them out side or make sure to wipe up the floor when they are done because they are very sticky when they melt!

After removing the Dog Haus "Tent" from its shipping container, I had it set-up in about 45 seconds. Although no instructions are included, it's a no brainer to set-up. Just pull up on the two cords coming out of its top opening/closing/locking mechanism and it simply unfolds like an umbrella and locks into position. Break-down takes a little longer... maybe 2 3 minutes. This is due to the fact that you should tuck the tents material towards the inner frame before folding it away. (Just like it takes longer to put an umbrella properly away than it takes to open one). The only thing I must mention is that the stated height of the tent of 32" 33" is the inside dimension. The opening/closing/locking mechanism adds approx. 5 " to its overall height bringing its total to 37" 38". We have a Bernese Mountain Dog and she was inside the "Haus" within 2 minutes checking it out and claimed it as her own soon after. The tent is VERY roomy, even for a very large breed dog like ours.

Our pup is now 60 lbs and outgrew her old camping tent. Searched and found the perfect replacement: Instent Dog Haus Set up the new tent with intuition it opens like an umbrella. (Closing is a bit tricky only if you are a perfectionist, wrapping up your umbrella just right.) Did a test run in the living room and Izzy claimed it as her own. The options of weighting the sides, staking, zippered window covers, zippered door screen and door cover are perfect for our Northwest weather. Now, if only it would self-clean all the dirt, pine needles and doggie smell, it would be more than perfect. I purchased this product for my 85-lb lab as an alternative to laying in the sun or on the brick sidewalk in the shade. I wanted an all-in-one covered cot but the ones that came with covers all-in-one seemed to have a smaller surface area for the dog to lay on. This tent is not only huge inside and very tall but it fits the Large Maze Cool Cot perfectly both length, width and height. In fact, my dog can sit upright on the cot and not even touch the top of the tent. They left no details out on this tent--all the windows can be opened or covered, the door can be zipped and covered or unzipped and left open and there is every possible combination of how you want to basically set up and use this tent. There is even an added piece of nylon to make a "rain cover" over the small screened vent area cut on the very top. In addition, what a nice surprise that it came with a sleeping-bag like blanket that is nylon on one side & soft plaid fleece on the other. This is like a people-tent (with all the details) but for a dog. Setup is as easy as opening and closing an umbrella (i.e. 2 seconds) and it folds up so easily & compact every time--it fits right back into the little carry bag. I use it to crate at agility trials and the light color is great on the hot sunny days. My German Shepherd girl got the thing walking around under my tent area just getting excited when I would return or moving around inside.

That said, there were excellent instructions permanently attached to the bag it came in. Incredibly lightweight and sets up in a second.

Didn't get the quilted pad that supposed to come with it but hopefully the company sends that later (message to company I purchased from).

UPDATE! Used it at 2 trials and really not for big dogs. Though there is plenty of room, if you don't stake it down (on a mat or indoors) it can easily go rolling around the area with your dog pushing it around and over. Worse still is the material that makes up the ventilation screening. My GSD literally ripped a 20" slit in the door screen with one swipe of her paw. Wasn't continuous scratching mind you, one meaninful swipe (with Dremeled nails!). So it no longer will hold that dog in. Though I'm going to try to find some stronger mesh (and someone with a sewing machine) the tent is basically ruined until repaired.

So if you have tiny dogs, that never scratch, you are good to go. Otherwise, it was a bit expensive for only 2 uses. Though I love the idea, the light weight, the setup/take down and the large size!

This is a great "crate" for all your dog activities like agility, rally and conformation great to take with you when you may need to have a safe place out of the sun for your dog to wait until it is his turn. Light weight and super easy to set up and tear down. There is plenty of room for a big dog (mine weighs 85 lbs) or for more than one small dog. The reflective outside keeps the sun out and the netting for screens on all sides helps to keep it well vented. I love the blanket on for the inside that is two sided so you can use the fleece side in winter or the smooth side in summer. My dog loves it as much as I do.

I have a 3-month old Siamese kitten and he is just crazy about this bed. When he's feeling playful he loves jumping on it and wrestling with it because it crackles and crinkles and gives him instant feedback. When he's feeling sleepy, he likes to burrow into the warm interior. Many times I've heard his little kitten purr from inside. He even likes to wash up on it, because every time he licks himself the dome makes noise.

The dome is not rigid; it's floppy and does not maintain its shape when nobody is inside it. This is an advantage for cats that like to burrow or who need privacy. My kitten took to it right away and needed no coaxing to enjoy it. My older cats were a little skeptical at first but their natural curiosity won out in the end and they were snuggling up in it after about a month of sniffing and stalking around it. I would recommend this product for cats of any age and will probably buy another.

The product looks like it does in the picture. It seems well built. Here are some things to note:

1) The fabric is a little thin.

2) The heating pad covers about 2/3's of the bed.

3) The bed slumps down (collapses) when not in use.

None of these things made me to want to return the bed. For #3, I got a wire shelf and placed it inside the sack to keep the sack upright.

This is for my Chihuahua. He likes it, but was a little nervous about the crinkle sounds, and that's why I got the wire shelf to prop-up the inside.

UPDATE

I no longer use this bed. Instead, I highly recommend Snoozer Cozy Cave, Khaki, Small, which is much bigger and much better quality.

I bought this heated crinkle tunnel for my young Siamese. These two playful brothers enjoy paper bags and just about anything that makes noise. One of them likes to crawl under the covers on the bed, too, so I reasoned that this little cave would make a cozy hideaway. I was sadly disappointed that neither cat likes it. They won't even explore it far enough to actually step foot inside. Can't imagine why...? The idea seems good, but something about it is repelling to felines.

This is a great cat bed, well designed & just the right size. It looks comfortable. The only issue is that the crinkle sound scared my cat. That's no fault of the bed it just didn't work with my cat's personality. We ended up exchanging it for a similar bed that doesn't have the crinkle canopy.

I have 2 cats that are burrowers-under rugs, quilts,etc. They hate this. I have tried putting in toys & catnip-makes no difference. I think they do not like the crinkle sound. I agree that the noise is a bit extreme.

These are really cute but does not fit an XL size dog at all. These would fit a medium breed with the XL size at best.

I already wrote a a review for the l size that was way to small for my dog (cocker size).

it really looks very nice, she after some tension more or less agreed to wear this panties.
