This is a very well made crate. The tray slides out nicely after you unhook the safety latch for it. the latches on the door have a hook to prevent your pet from letting themselves out. The only thing I would change is adding a door to one of the sides. I'm a little older and larger and it's hard for me to get in the smaller door on the end. But I DO recommend this crate very highly.

It's great, for a time out, and a cave for my three babies. I really love the color, and it fitswell with my apartment.
