The problem with animal clothing (like people clothing) is that sizes are a bit subjective.

This particular hoodie x-small, fits my 6 pound chihuahua who often wears a small rather than an extra small. She has lots of fur making it snug (in a nice way) and it is long enough to cover her belly without being too long.

We have the small size in regular cammo which fits a 12 -14 pound dog nicely. It is loose on our 10 pound dog.

I hope that helps as you try to figure out the sizing.

This is a nice lightweight cloth, great for fall mornings or hanging out in a cooler home. Seams do not have any problems on either dog.

These little sweatshirts are worth their weight in gold. The fit is great for a chihuahua. (So many of the shirts and sweatshirts I buy don't fit right at the neck.) These neither stretch, shrink nor fade. My little female chi is 4 pounds; she's had hers for more than 3 years and it still looks great. It's a must to have warm clothes for little dogs in New England. This is the one sweatshirt my chi doesn't resist being dressed in. Her vote is what counts!

Picked up one of the Tiger pattern at a store, along with other toys. All 3 kitties LOVED this. Great size: 11" x 4" pillow section, 7" tail. They rush it, attack, bite and rabbit-kick the heck out of it. Then they curl up and hug it and use it for a pillow. It's so adorable and hilarious to watch.

Bought 3 more on Amazon (better price $5.99). 2 Giraffes and 1 Cow pattern, so this same review's in all 3 products. The kitties don't seem to have any preferences on the patterns.

Durability bought in July, it's now October, and they all still look new, despite all the rough play with teeth and clipped claws. They still love them, and carry them in their jaws around the house, so we're always finding them in the strangest places.

Con: Can't change the catnip, there's no refillable pouch. Come on! Should be a given. Minus 1 star.

Bottom line: 3 of 3 kitties approve. A definite hit in our kitty household.

Ordered this after reading that it was super awesome, and got it at a pretty good price. As with most things for the cats, they really loved the cardboard box it came in, and were completely disinterested in the toy. I need to save my money and just start throwing boxes on the floor.

While the cats not liking it is kind of the fault of the cats, I can't forgive some weird design issues. The tail is fluffy, but sheds a lot of black fuzzies. The white ribbon around it (that I assume is there for leverage so the cat can kick the thing?) came off almost immediately. It's not sewn on or anything, it just ties loosely around the toy. So god knows where it is in the house at this point. And, much like others, I didn't detect any catnip on it, though that could be because I am not a cat. Still, would have been a nice and thoughtful design element to allow one to fill 'er up with catnip from time to time, like other toys the cats pretend to be interested in before they play with the box.

Bottom line: The dog likes it, so there's a plus. BUT, it's not too well-made, so we can't really tug at it with the dog either. I'd save your money and rub catnip all over a cardboard box instead.

Our cat Ben LOVES his Kickaroo! It is the best cat toy ever! We have had great luck with all of the Kong brand toys that we have bought but he definitely loves this one best. He rolls, kicks, jumps, curls, and bites all over this thing. Best of all, he prefers to play with it alone. I love playing with him, but it is nice to see him play with something on his own too. My favorite is when he tires himself out and then curls up with the Kickaroo hugging it/using it as a pillow. It is adorable! Great product!

Purchased this product last year for my outdoor kitties. It kept them comfortable in the cold weather. Used this item on a covered porch and in a barn. Currently 7 kittens are snuggled on it. It has held up well and the fleece pad is washable. Two small to medium cats can fit on this, probably one large cat or a small dog. Be careful to check that you do not overload the circuit which it is plugged into, if the breaker flips unexpectedly your pets will be cold.

At first I wasn't sure about this bed. Something early on told me that it should have been a lot warmer and I was THISCLOSE to returning it. But when all was said and done, I realized that the temps it reaches -and the WAY it does -is brilliant. I'm glad I gave it a second chance.

The bed comes folded and deflated. Just open it up, pull the little red valve in the corner to its open position, plug the bed in and wait for 15-30 minutes for the heat to adjust and the bed to self-inflate. After it inflates, (which isn't dramatic, so don't anticipate the Hindenburg), you press a little of the air out to prevent a ballooning effect when your pet sits on it, then close the valve.

Plugged in, but unused, the bed stays several degrees above room temperature waiting for some company. When your pet climbs aboard, it rises to 102 degrees and is perfect for removing the chill. It comes with a fleece cover that's cozy and comfy, but thin enough to allow the heat from the pad underneath to penetrate. A feisty animal might be able to remove the cover easily, but our user prefers to be adorable, dainty and compliant. The fleece cover is machine-washable. Excellent!

There's a semi-feral in our yard who we've been feeding since we found her nearly starving to death. Since we already have 6 cats (and a bunny), half of them special needs, there was simply no more room at the inn for another. But I couldn't just let this little girl suffer out there. I go out several times a day to visit with her (can't touch her, but can get within several feet if I'm careful) and make sure she's eating ok. It's SO freakin cold out there and one day I put a *human* heating pad in the garage on a blanket and covered it with a small throw rug. Cow, as we call her (see pics), took to it immediately without my having to place her on it, which she never would have allowed. But I was scared of leaving it on without me being there it's not meant to be either outside OR unattended -so enter the K&H Lectro Soft Outdoor Bed. She's on it every night and many times during the day. I'm so happy with this product, I'm getting another for my 23 year old arthritic cat. He's going to love it. He's blind, but can sense a warm human lap within 50 yards, so this will be great for when said laps are unavailable and out shopping for more pet beds.

(Not recommended for animals that chew stuff.)

The bed is okay. First off, the bottom is always a lot more warm than the top, which seems rather silly to me. The bottom has the cord attached along with a plastic air valve. As it is an air matress, it makes a crinkly sound when my dog steps on it, which I find to be rather annoying, and some pets may find offsetting. The pad is thin and despite the "soft" in the title, it isn't. I ended up having to put a soft dog bed underneath the "bed" so that my great dane would use it.

In short: this isn't a bed, it's a heating pad that is insulated by a small amount of air so that it doesn't have to use as much power. If you're looking for something that your animal will find super comfortable, this probably isn't it.

We take care of a wild cat who has been around our woods & house for many years now. She's a very social cat, and able to hunt for herself and find places to keep warm, but winters here in VA can be very unpleasant. I have purchased small cat pads before, but the raccoons would enter the garage and snatch them away (a mystery for the longest time!) Her latest bed was heftier with tall sides to keep her safe from the wind that may come into the garage; whilst the raccoons couldn't quite get the entire thing out of the garage, they were able to take the pad within. Instead of purchasing a replacement pad, I decided I would give this heated bed a try. It fits perfectly into the confines of her walled bed, is of a substantial enough weight that I don't think it will be dragged off by other wild creatures, plus our cat LOVES it!!! She no longer curls up on the cars to soak up engine heat:) Plus, because she's curled up on it so often to keep out of rain, ice and snow, we have cut back on the amount of food we give her until she's able to get back to being more active (saving us money in the long run!). The bed is well made soft fleece covering that can be removed and tossed in the wash, plus the heater is safe and provides just enough heat to keep her happy and comfortable.

I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone with an outdoor pet/wild cat visitor.

The vinyl outside covers a pad of orthopedic foam, which is where the "soft" comes from (at least compared to their hard plastic pads). It's shipped vacuum packed, folded up with all the air sucked out to save space, and for use you just open the valve to let the air back in so the foam expands back to normal thickness. It shouldn't have any excess air to make it act like an air mattress; the instructions even tell you to press some air back out before closing the valve again to prevent any balloon effect. So, claw punctures aren't really an issue (though the vinyl's pretty tough anyway).

Don't skimp on the size, the medium is big enough for my fairly small cat to be able to comfortably sprawl out on her side the way she likes (I think she soaks up more heat that way), but the small wouldn't be. It's thick enough to be soft and comfy for my cat, especially with the fleece cover, but could be kind of thin for a heavier dog. The fleece cover also stays on very well for my cat, but I can see how a dog rolling around on it could pull it loose (though some elastic and safety pins might fix that).

Charlee Bears are small and low calorie, so you can use them en masse for training. We use them both for standard training (sit, stay, drop it, leave it) and behavioral training (no bark). They're not stinky or messy, so you can put them in your pocket, purse, or car without worry. We keep a small bag in the car for travel to reinforce when our puppy doesn't bark at people walking by, one by the door to reinforce when she goes to the bathroom outside, and a bunch of treats in a treat bag for travel.

The one downside to these is that because they're not as stinky, it can be harder to use them to get your dog's attention if he or she is distracted, like at the dog park or if you have a bunch of visitors. Our trick to get around this is that we put some stinky treats in the treat bag with these, and they'll take on some of the scent (We use Pro-Treat Beef Liver, Freeze Dried Dog Treats, 21 Ounce).

Our dog loves all flavors.

Very well made crate with lots of ventilation. The size (x-small) is not only big enough for my papillon but could easily fit both my mini poodle (14 pounds) and my daughters pug (24 pounds).....a very nice surprise. Its fine, does what its suppose to. Materials of the crate seem fine, but inside there are these two poles on springs that keep it from collapsing. It seems cheesy to me. Doubt it will last long, and my dog is as passive as they come.

LEAKY ROOF: This house is not waterproof. For a while i kept thinking it was getting wet inside because rain was blowing into the open doorway. I finally got it to stay put with the doorway under our front porch roof and it *still* got wet inside. then I examined it and realized that where the roof attaches to the base, it does not fully cover the base but rather lines up roof plastic side by side with bottom plastic, leaving a tiny slit. (see in the photo at the part where it clicks together). Water must be running off the roof and seeping into the house through the cracks there. So the bedding kept getting wet and i kept having to wash and dry it. Tomorrow I will buy some calking and calk those cracks. that should take care of it. but that's a really poor design for an otherwise pretty good house. It is for this leaky roof that i'm giving it a single star. i wish i'd figured out the problem a few months ago. it's been a very rainy winter here this year.

I bought this for a stray cat, the extra-small size and put a bed in there for him. He likes it and sleeps in it in cold weather but as i mentioned in the rain it's not so good. the plastic is cold so a bed is a definite must for whatever animal might use it. Even this extra-small house is a little big for cat, but with the big fluffy bed in there it's acceptable. and it was way cheaper than the "cat houses" i found.

Update: i've now calked the joints with silicone. seems to have done the trick.

I bought this house for our three feral cats that redid fly adopted our family. As the weather turned cold, I was worried they would have a hard time staying warm and dry. I purchased this house yesterday at a local store (Tractor Supply) for less than it is listed here (40$).

The momma cat took to it immediately and the babies soon followed. As the other reviewer stated, this house will leak if it is left in the elements. I have ours placed next to the house on a covered porch so I am not worried about this.

I do plan to add a door and a kennel heating pad in it as the weather continues to get cooler.

a 150-pack box usually lasts us about 4 months with one mid-size dog. These Wee-Wee pads are fine, but they used to be better -does anyone remember when the blue borders used to be made of an absorbent material with a continuous plastic underlay? I think the design changed about a year ago, but since then, if my dog miss-aims and urinates too close to the blue border, urine leaks through the pad onto the floor, whereas before, the plastic underlay locked in the moisture from leaking out.

I've been using wee wee pads of various brands for about 4 years now. I first trained my Havanese to use them as a puppy when I lived in a New York City apartment. I've continued using them for convenience while I am working and because he prefers them to going outside in poor weather. I now have a second puppy who is also training on them.

My absolute favorite brand of wee pads is called Paw Trax. They have an incredibly fast absorbing gel inside that nothing I've found matches. I've only found them online on two dog specialty websites, but they are pretty pricey at about $.50 each! Not wanting to break the bank, I went in search of other brands. At first I discounted Wee Wee Pads because my local pet superstore sold them at such an outrageous price that the Paw Trax were a better deal. Then, I found them on Amazon at a much better price, especially for the 100 pack.

These pads, while not the best in my opinion, absorb fairly quickly and are more absorbent than some of the other bargain brands. The only problem I've experienced with them is that sometimes the pee seems to expand fairly wide when it is absorbing, which means it's only good for one use. Having two dogs, sometimes that means my second dog will not use the pad if I'm not around to change it. Other than that issue, I've never encountered anything else negative such as seeping through the plastic liner, etc.

I'm also fond of the Nature's Miracle Advanced pads which are larger and better suited for multiple uses. While these don't seem to absorb as quickly, they don't expand out as much. That combined with their larger size makes them ideal for my multi-dog home. Had I only had a single dog though, they might be a bit too large unless I was planning on leaving them out for extended periods while away.

Four Paws Wee-Wee Pads are Super Absorbent. My Poodle has been using them for the past 5yrs. When I first got him we were living in a condo in the Las Vegas and was much too hot for his paws to go out for "potty breaks" during the day. He got use to using Wee-Wee pads during the daytime and went out at night.

We moved a few months later to a cooler climate but my work schedule was so chaotic that I never knew when I'd be home to let him out. He was wee-wee pad trained. So I'd leave a wee-wee pad out for those times when I couldn't make it home in time or when he was on allergy medicine that made him drink more water than normal.... and he'd use them.

5yrs have past and I still leave one out for him but normally I return home to find it dry and I let him out and that's that... but for those times when I do find it wet or when he has been ill I'm glad I left them there since I have little to no mess to clean.

(Note: these are also great for Seniors who can't take their dogs out or who do not want to go out after nightfall).

I have 2 (4lb) small breed puppies 1 female and 1 male just so you have a picture. The puppies were definitely attracted to the pads and it was very easy to get them to use the pads which I am grateful. The first pads I ever purchased were the Natures Miracle Advanced Wee Pads and not by choice I just walked in having just gotten my puppies and grabbed the first thing I came across. Now Natures Miracle was a tad expensive so I started looking for another brand more in my price range so I did a lot of research and this brand was rated high by people, then as luck would have it Pet Supplies Plus had a great sale on Four Paws Wee-Wee Pads, now after some use and after the excitement of them actually using the pads I started to become a tad disappointed. You pay a good dollar for these pads and I started to notice things, the size is smaller than the other pads and the 23x23 size meant I had to use 2 of them in my crates and on a side note the actual size of usable pad is 21x21. They are pretty thin and I have felt dampness on the underside of these pads which is a problem since they were sitting on carpet( I have since bought crate replacement trays). When the pups went tinkle it would just sit on the top of the fabric and pool before actually soaked in allowing the pups to walk thru it and tracking it on my carpet. When the female went tinkle she pretty much use up a good portion of the pad so I was changing them often so the price savings now has gone out the door. I also found there was no odor control with these pads.

So now I have tried Four Paws Wee-Wee pads, Dynarex Under pads(worst),Simply Right Super Absorbent under pads(very good-still use) and Natures Miracle Advanced Wee Pads(still use)and find Natures Miracle Advanced Ultra is the best by far for doggie wee pads!

I have to admit I am impressed on how absorbent Natures Miracle Advanced Ultra turned out to be. They claim to hold 6 cups of liquid and I believe it, this is the only pad with Polymer in it, Polymer helps absorption and keeps the spread of the liquid to a minimum getting more use out of the pad, this pad is also fantastic at keeping odor absorbed. I find Petsmart is the only place I can get these pads in-store in my area. The pad size is larger than the other wee pads at 27x23 compared to 23x24 and Natures usable pad area is pretty close to the 27x23 size where the other pads can be up to 4inches smaller in usable area size (so your 23x24 pad is actually 19x21 inches)because the blue border is non-absorbent and not usable(Dynarex brand)!! I just bought Natures Miracle Advanced Ultra on sale at Petsmart, 100pads for $39 which is a great price but I only use these in my crate due to that high price and for visit at friends houses. For daily use, I now go with Simply Right Super Absorbent 23x36 under pads from Sam's club which is also a very good product, not bad at keeping odor at bay, the size fits replacement crate trays, more room for 2 pups to use and best of all the cheap price tag of $24 for 120 pads and they are sold in-store, no need to order online. I will admit I would use these pads again if need be but there is no real savings in them as you do use more.

I've been buying wee wee pads for over 7 years. The most reliable places to buy them from are at PetSmart or Petco. Places like Ebay will have resellers who take an original wee wee pad box, replaces the wee wee pads with cheap imitation pads (you can get generic thin pads for 1/3 the cost) and then reseal the box. This resealed boxes with fake wee wee pads then go on auction as original wee wee pads though the only original thing about it is the wee wee pads box (the wee wee pads have been replaced with cheap pads).

I thought I'd be safe from scam when I purchased wee wee pads straight from Amazon (the sale didn't list it as a resale). The was being sold for a low price which should have been a red flag. When I received my package, there was an obnoxious amount of tape on the outside of the box. The cheap non wee wee pads inside confirmed that the box was resealed.

I don't think Amazon purposely sold me fake pads. They either purchased a slew of wee wee pads wholesale from someone who filled up the box with fake wee wee pads or someone returned an amazon item and filled the box up with fake pads. Nonetheless, I'm screwed and might send these fake pads back.

Update: I just went to Petco and bought some authentic four paws wee wee pads. AMAZON DEFINITELY SOLD FAKE WEE WEE PADS. The authentic wee wee pads are thick and have a light blue lining. The fake ones have a dark blue lining and extremely thin.

I am very particular about toys for my German Shepard Dog. She has a tremendous urge to chew. When she was a puppy she loved to chew on tennis balls, but we noticed that her canine teeth got worn out way too much. Vet advised us not give her tennis balls to chew on, because they are just like sanding paper to her teeth. Many toys I found in pet store are way to tough for her teeth or way too soft; she would destroy them within hours. I bought my first Cosmic Cone in some small small pet store and my dog totally fell in love with it. I wasn't able to find it again anywhere else, but on Amazon. Design of this toy is so genius. Soft enough to give satisfaction of chewing without ruining dogs' teeth, yet tough to last. Shape of it is so carefully thought through to prevent from rolling too far or onto the street. It also floats in the water, so it makes great pool toy. Her first one is still around, but I stashed a replacement.
