These toys are a wonderful idea. I had thought that this came in a set of three as advertized, but when the item arrived, it was only one. It actually only comes with ONE toy for this price. I just happened to receive the Polar Bear. If you want a specific one, DO NOT order through amazon.com. This item is NOT a set. It is one single toy for this price. Item to be returned.

Three dogs and they love these little creatures, though the ultimately destroy them but at least there is no stuffing

Best Deals for Ethical Plush Skinneeez Arctic Ast 23-Inch Stuffingless Dog Toy

This is an ideal toy for a dog who usually pulls the stuffing/filling out of a typical stuffed dog toyBECAUSE IT IS MADE *UNSTUFFED*

It is also better than giving them a cheaply made rubber toy that will be destroyed quickly.

( Not to mention some dog/child toys are imported from China and sadly, toxic paint and other materials have been found on them)

This product for dogs is like a stuffed animalwithout any stuffing.

So when you get it, it is flat fabric, meant to resemble an animal. It is similar to a long, flat gym sock.

Most dogs that like to swing, fling, or whip toys around, will enjoy this item.

*** I suggest medium to large size dogs for this toy size. Smaller dogs will most likely find this too long for them to handle.****

Always supervise your pets when playing with toys, because even an "unstuffed" toy like this( which has 2 mini squeakers inside) can eventually come apart with wear and tear.

The main danger is typically the choking hazard the squeaker or material could present.

If you have a dog content to carry, fling, or gently suck or nibble at this kind of toy( not rip or shred it with their teeth) this should work well.

I cannot emphasize enough that you should have an eye on your dog(s) when you give them a toy to play with and put the toy(s) away somewhere when done; where only you have access to them and can hand them out when you are around to supervise.

Many a time, I caught my dogs just as they had ripped the stitching out of a dog toy and I promptly tossed that toy in the garbage.

If I had not seen it, the next step would have been either stuffing coming out or the destruction of fabric and possible attempt to eat it.

Once there is a riphole or stitching coming undonedo your dog and yourself a favor, and just throw it out and get a new toy.

***This company provides a wide array of sizes and animal styles for your pet.

Take note of which ones are on the hairy side. Some dogs gag on hairy stuffed toys if it bothers their mouth/throat. I prefer a toy with minimal furriness to it.

I bought this item thinking, based on how the advertisement read, that it would be a three pack.

It was notit is ONE STUFFED ANIMAL OF THE SELLER'S CHOOSING.

Be sure to take note of thatespecially if you are buying for multiple pets or just want to buy a trio in one order.

Honest reviews on Ethical Plush Skinneeez Arctic Ast 23-Inch Stuffingless Dog Toy

***WARNING***

Please....PLEASE take away the "safe" no stuffing dog toys away from your large dogs. On Friday night, Indiana had very severe stomach surgery to remove a blockage in his stomach. The Doctor called me after the sugery to update me. She said the surgery went well, he was recovering. The item removed from his stomach....a no stuffing squirrel, WHOLE.

We figured he was chewing on it, it got in his throat, he panicked and swallowed it. This is a dog that doesn't eat anything. We have never had any problems with him eating Ethan's toys, other dog toys, paper, etc and he ended up with an entire toy lodged in his stomach.

The company claims it to be the "safest" dog toy, but in fact it is not. If this happened to my dog, it can easily happen to yours. To avoid something terrible happening to your dog, please take away these toys.

I'm so upset with the claim that this is the "safest" dog toy. I think I'm going to try and bring this more public to avoid this freak accident happening to other pets and to avoid the claim that this is a "safe" toy.

Indiana is recovering, but it's going to be at least two weeks of laying low and another two after that to get back to normal. They had to cut through 3 layers of stomach, muscle and skin to extract the large toy. This was invasive, painful, expensive and something I don't want someone else to have to go through.

We have only had it 24 hours but most "durable" toys last 10 minutes or less. I expected it to be loud but it is not. Worth the price!

We have a 11 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback, and at 80 lbs, she has gone thru many many toys that have touted to be durable and "chew proof" . What I loved about this toy was that it not only smelled great...a nice vanilla scent..but that we got to use our recyclable water bottles that our pup loved to chew on anyways. It's easy to use, pop in the bottle and off you go. It works great for toss and retrieve, or for the dog to carry around and chew on as she walks. She loves noisy toys and this is a perfect answer to her self entertainment, the more she chews, the more it crunches. She has tried to do her normal eviscerate of finding the weak spot on a toy, and was unable to do so on this toy, even when she got her snout into the open end where the bottle get inserted. She was unable to tear it up. We've had it for two weeks and it looks like new out of the box, even with it being her current toy of choice. As with all chew doys, it's important to not leave your dog unattended with toys, but I feel more secure on leaving her with this when I am not in the room as it shows no worse for wear or any weakened areas where she has chewed thru.

We have spent way too many dollars on other toys that have ended up in the trash, if this new toy maker has other toys, they'll be the ones we buy from here on out and none others.

I'm not as enthusiastic about Nature's Miracle Quick Results Training Pads as the other reviewers seem to be. I'm currently using them for the third time the first time, three years ago with a male Westie; the second two years ago with a female Scotty; and at the moment with a male Cesky Terrier. You may ask me why, if I'm not entirely satisfied with the pads, have I continued to use them? And the answer is: They're better than the alternative particularly if the alternative is newspaper.

My reluctance to give the pads a five star endoresement goes mostly to the manufacturer's claim that their "fresh grass scent" somehow promotes house breaking. That has not been my experience. I will concede that terriers are notoriously hard to house break it took almost a year for our Scotty to get it right without fail but putting that aside, nothing about their "scent" seems to attract a puppy. What is important is "place." You have to make sure that they are in the same place, each and every time and of course, as you learn your pup's "restroom signals" and schedule, you need to take him/her outside as often as possible.

But like I said, the pads beat newspaper, hands down. They are much more absorbent, easier to handle, and much less likely to "soak" through, (they also don't transfere ink to your carpet as newspaper sometimes does). And while a used pad is not odor free, there is some mitigation of smell.

A tip on prices: Check Amazon carefully. For some reason, there are large variations in price, depending on the vendor and package size. The 80-count package is often a substantial savings when compared to the other sizes.

[An Up-date: 9/13/2012 I just thought that I'd add a couple of comments concerning the "soaking through" issue that many recent reviewers have raised. I'm sure that people are honestly reporting their experience, but mine has not been the same. Sherlock my male Cesky and the youngest of my three terriers is now three years old and fully house broken, but I still keep an area "padded up" so the dogs have a spot where they can go in "emergencies." Each of my dogs weighs in at about 22 pounds and if they've had to "hold it" for awhile, each of them can produce a copious amount of pee and I've never had a pad soak through. I'm not sure why some reviewers have found that the pads can't handle a "three pound Yorkie" it may have something to do with how long the pad sits, after it's been used not more than a couple of hours at my house. I guess the bottom line is that if you're in the market for puppy pads, Nature's Mircle is a pretty good product and at the price of an 80-count bag you can probably afford to check 'em out for yourself.]

Before I bought Nature's Miracle pads, my dog did not have the faintest idea what potty pads were for. Sometimes he would eat or nap on them, all the while relieving himself pretty much everywhere but the pads. I tried using fake urine and even some of his own urine (I blotted up an accident with a pad), with no luck. I really think that the type of pad helped him figure it all out. I can't smell any difference myself, but I believe he does.

I agree that the placement of the pad plays a big role, ie, he knows he can relieve himself in a particular spot, but I also think the smell is important. I ran out of these pads once, and put down some newspaper for him. He sniffed it very carefully, and decided it wasn't the right place to go. Similarly, when I move, I always make sure to show him where the pad is, and he appears to recognize the scent.

They are very absorbent and hold smells well (as in, you don't smell them). I love this product.

I agree with the other reviewer who said to check prices carefully on Amazon. For some reason, the eighty pad bag is cheaper than the fifty.

I ordered these from Amazon to use when I hurt my back and could not lug home 14 lb jugs of cat litter. They saved the day, my floors, and my three cats took right to them. I placed two of them in the bottom of the cat litter box and presto! The cats used them immediately. Each pad more than contains a full male bladder of urine. I just roll them up and throw them in the trash can that I keep next to the litter box in the laundry room. They do not leak when I roll them up. They do not leak out the sides because of the special green liner around the pad. I couldn't be happier. I am actually thinking of giving up on cat litter altogether and just using these. It would save my back and a lot of volume in the trash can.

Honest reviews on Nature's Miracle Quick Results Training Pads

We have two 5.5 month old small breed puppies, and since January we've tried several different brands of puppy pads in addition to newspapers. These are the best ones we've used yet. They are very absorbant, thick, and that means far less messes, no beneath the pad wetness, and the puppies are far more accurate with these pads -I guess they like them better too! :)

This product works well for what its designed to do, absorb doggie mess. It has helped us train our dachshund puppy to go outside better, but there's one problem. He loves playing and digging in the grass. Therefore, he also loves digging and playing with this pad because its "grass scented". I'm sure not every dog reacts this way, but ours did. I think it helped him know to go outside when we take him out, but we'll change to just a normal pad when we run out of these, and hopefully stop some of the digging and shredding we're dealing with now.

These are amazing. My dog is a big chewer/ shredder, so finding something that will last for him is next to impossible. These are great and my dog loves every flavor. My friend's dogs reportably never care for these sort of things, but they loved these as well. And they are basicly mess free which is great too.

This is my Labradoodles favorite toy! Go Dog sent us one of these when the dragon was destroyed in three seconds flat. I sent a picture of poor Mr. Dragon's remains, the tag, and the receipt, dated earlier the same day, from the local pet store. I asked them to please send the sturdiest of their toys, and Mr. Armadillo showed up at my office soon after. My 100 lb Labradoodle, Jeter, carried him around for weeks!! Not minutes! WEEKS. eventually, he lost his tail, then an ear...then the nose....but he lasted a good few months. Finally he was down to just a patch of fur but Jeter would know that was what was left of his "Dill".

It's really his favorite toy, and Santa and the Easter Bunny bring one each year. Last year he found the one hidden in the back of the closet, so now we have to hide them in the trunk! Yes, they are a bit pricey. But to see 100 lb dog snuggling with a stuffed toy? hahahaha ok, he's spoiled.

The place we were getting them stopped carrying them, happy to find them here, for less, AND free shipping!!

Thanks Santa Amazon!!

I do not recommend this product.

Honest reviews on goDog Mr Armie Pastels Dog Toy with Chew Guard, Colors Vary

Out of all the GoDog squeek toys, this one has held up the best and is our dog's favorite one. She has 4 different GoDog toys, and I rotate them every couple of days so it seems like she has a new one each time. She sort-of plays with the dragon, purple dino and triceratops, but when Mr. Armie comes out, she goes wild. I bought a couple of extras just to have in case Amazon stops carrying them. They're at least $5 less than in Petco or Petsmart. Just wish you could pick the colors. We have all pink ones.....

We purchased two of these for my Lab-Pointer mix who is about 2-3 years old. She loves it and so do we! It has lasted 6 weeks now without a problem and we play with it multiple times a day. It's her first go to toy when she wants to play. The tail is a plus with this design as it gives me something to hold on to while she tugs back and forth. I am so glad I have another just in case this one gives out. But so far, so good! I really recommend this to anyone with a mid-large sized dog who plays rough. I will however say those with puppies should always monitor them because puppies can wind up chewing more than fetching. So make sure you have more than one type of toy available for the young ones (get a bone to satisfy chewing).

I have only had this product one day now, so I can't attest to its longevity.

When I first opened it, I was a little clunky with it and wasn't sure if I would enjoy it. It seemed hard to snap the ball in and I was kind of smashing the ball against the ground to fully lodge it in. Gladly, after about 2 minutes, I was getting the hang of that part and came to find that I could fully snap the ball in place in about half a second by grabbing first with the back and pushing forward.

Let me put it to you this way, my dog and I lost the first ball I threw. I had no idea how far it would go and didn't anticipate it. Lets just say it went over my garage and somewhere into oblivion, goodbye chuckit ball :) Good thing the ball that came with it was nothing more than a regular tennis ball and I had plenty of those lying around.

The second time around was smoother, went to an open area and tested it at different speeds. There seems to be a sweet spot you hit, where throwing any harder doesn't add distance, but you get a feel for that pretty quick. The ball went far, imagine you putting your shoulder full into every normal throw and then adding a lot of feet, that was the average throw. It was great fun.

I bought this in anticipation of the summer, because last year I had thrown my arm out one day (I have an English Springer Spaniel) because my dog would literally rather have a heart attack than ever stop playing fetch. This year, I could see it in his eyes, whenever I would grab a ball he would give me the stare of, you are going to throw this ball so long your arm is going to fall off, lets go have fun!

Needless to say, I threw the ball farther, faster and for more time yesterday than I did any day of the summer last year. I don't have so much as a sore muscle early this morning and am ready to do it again. My dog on the other hand has turned into a sleep deprived teenager from all the exercise and probably loathes the thought of the mid day sun waking him up from his sleep today :P He was beat!

My one complaint isn't with the item, its with the season. Spring stinks. By the time we were done playing my dog looked like a chocolate lab and I haven't turned on the water to the hose yet. So, its some major baths. Normally my dog hates the idea of the bath and makes it sound like I'm throwing him in some Roman arena to fight to the death. But he was so tired after playing, he actually laid down in the tub. I could have swore he muttered, just wash me, I want some sleep...NOW!

THis is the smaller, more portable version of the 26-inch Chuck-It described below. It's easier to stow, but I believe (we need a physicist in here) that the ball will not go quite as far as the full-size version. Still, it will travel a long distance, may actaully be better for smaller dogs, and is easier to pack!

The Chuck-it is perhaps the best dog toy since the Frisbee, especially for dogs who love to run long distances to retrieve. That describes our golden retriever, for one, a dog who almost prefers chasing tennis balls to eating. Now anyone can heave a ball a long, long way so that your dog gets a satisfying workout and a more challenging retrieval. Just pick up the supplied colored ball (or a substitute, as chances are you will lose it) raise your arm high over your head and back, then fling it forward, with a slight punch at or near the top of your swing. The ball will travel far and fast. It may take a few tries, but it's not too difficult to learn. With practice, you can aim the ball well, and control the distance and trajectory with fairly good accuracy (much more so than hitting a ball with a racket). The Chuck-it is flexible and I've never broken one. Of course, for very short distances, or for a more intimate connection with your pet, you can still pick up the dog-soaked ball and throw it yourself. Highly recommended!

Best Deals for Chuckit! Ball Launcher

Everyone likes this toy. The dog gets more throws out of us, and we really like not having to touch the ball. The included ball is nice, but I'm happy the toy is designed to use any tennis ball. This short one fits in your back pocket easily, and it launches the ball very well. We might get the full size one this summer if we want to go to a bigger field, but this could be the only one we need.

Honest reviews on Chuckit! Ball Launcher

Take FOUR dogs, from a 16 month old German Shepherd down to a 13LB JRT (Jack Russell Terrier), an old fat guy with a sore shoulder and what do you get???

The need for the Chuckit! ball thrower! This is the best money I have ever spent! Seriously! Think about it! No moving parts! Simple to use! It uses Plain Old Tennis Balls!

That's right! When the included ball dies of old age, you need not buy 'replacement' balls just buy TENNIS BALLS they work perfectly!

No more wet hands from picking up the slobber ball! I can use this while sitting on a bench even :-)

Plus, using the Chuckit! you throw further too!

My wife loves the Chuckit! JR she has small hands and the JR is a bit smaller, and is great when throwing from the front porch of our house.

All of our dogs have great ball drive. All were taught as pups to fetch tennis balls in the house, and outside too. I've tried using a tennis racket, I've bought the sling shot type ball launcher (tubes break, you need both hands, etc) and in the past, I always was tired out before my dogs were. Not any more! With the Chuckit! the dogs will call it quits before me! There is nothing better than a tired and happy dog best 14 bucks you'll ever spend!

I own 2 'Ultra' and 3 'JR' models keep a JR in each car, and an Ultra in the back of my car, a JR hanging on the front porch, and an Ultra hanging from a hook at the back of the house and a tennis ball will stay inside it oldest one is bout a year old no break-age yet (a few chew marks only)

If you have a dog that loves tennis balls, you owe it to yourself and your dog(s) to get this!

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Chuckit! Ball Launcher

I got this in addition to the full-size Chuckit that I already had. The biggest reason was that the full-size was great for the dog park, but not so great for my medium sized back yard. I kept launching tennis balls into my neighbor's pool and it was getting embarrassing having to go and ask to retrieve them.

I've been using the Pocket Chuckit for about a week now and it's awesome. It works well in my backyard and I've actually taken it to the dog park once. It launches the ball reasonably far, not as far as the full-size, but the portability of it more than makes up for it.

My chew crazy lab loves these guys.

The toys itself is well made and has 4 different textures and 5 squeakers (two different squeaks).

They are fairly durable for a "soft toy" and the size is a big factor in them not being destroyed in my house. The dog just can't figure out how to take a bite out of it.

My Dog Syndie and female Boxer is totally in love with this toy. It has the noise maker in it that makes grunts and she smashes her face into the toy over and over again to hear the noise. She runs from room to room in the house with it in her mouth excitedly tossing it to the ground and pouncing on it. I am ordering her another one, maybe two for back up. This is great for big dogs because of its large size.
