They smell like most dog treats do but with a little bit more of an earthy twist. They're colorful and most of them are about four inches long. My 10 month old West Highland White Terrier loves them but my nine year old Westie, who has bad and missing teeth, keeps getting them stuck in her jaw even when I break them in half for her. They seem to stick more to her teeth than actually in the jaw. I would definitely recommend it as a healthy treat for medium-sized pups.

I bought these to dispose of my cat waste after scooping the litter box. They work really well. The opening is large enough to accommodate the scoop, and after I tie them up, I just toss them in the trash and the smell is contained. I don't use a dispenser. They are very easy to tear off the roll and open up. I will definitely buy them again when I run out.

I don't know how or why these are getting some poor reviews. I have tried almost every brand (cheapie and not) in the dog doo bag department and these are the best by far. They're slightly larger than normal bags (which makes them soooo much easier to tie if your dog drops a mother load) and if you have to carry them for a bit while on a walk, they don't reek. That is reason alone to get these.

I've had bags where the bottom literally splits apart as you put your hand through (not a pleasant surprise, if you've ever had this experience) or had the seams split apart as the bag unrolls from the spool (leaving you with a poop "sheet" instead of a bag). This has happened with nearly every other brand I've tried. I've been using these for a year or more and NEVER had a single situation of this.

As for not fitting standard dispensers, also didn't have this problem with mine but I prefer to carry them without one anyway. Given a choice to run the risk of sticking my hand in poop (literally, lol) or not having a dispenserthe choice is obvious to me.

My house doesn't smell anymore! We used to use the plain cheap bags, and even though we tossed them into a lidded garbage can out on the back porch, when you opened the back door the smell would come in the house. After thoroughly cleaning the trash can and switching to these bags, the smell is thankfully gone. The only problem is that the spool doesn't fit my favorite dispenser. Anyway, I didn't buy them for the dispenser, I bought them for the odor control, and they work wonders in that area.

The reviewers who claim these bags are defective are wrong. They are designed differently than normal bags. You unfold them, and there's a bottom seam that remains attached while the top unfolds further. You then have to peel the plastic apart to open the bag. It makes them nice and wide. People are mistaking the attached bottom seam for the bottom of the bag, and are thinking that the side wasn't sealed properly. That is not the case. They just have a different design than the typical bag, and people are tossing them before noticing that the bag is not opened yet. The only downside to the design is that there are fewer bags on a roll.

It's hard to see where you should rip them apart. The perforation is so bad that it does not tear cleanly and the bag sometimes rips. It leaves a disgusting perfume smell on your hands; I want to wash my hands as soon as I touch one.

The only pro is that they are large.

I would not recommend these.

The first few bags on the roll were ok, though hard to tear off and a little small for tying after collection. However, as it turns out, the majority of the bags on the roll are unusable. The seam at the bottom is split open! Some kind of manufacturing flaw. Will be returning the product.

The heater does a great job of heating the dog house. It was fairly easy to install and looks decent. I insulated my dog house, so the warm temperature is pretty constant. The heater does not make hardly any noise and puts out heat instantly. I would recommend this product to anyone, it's a great investment. My Chihuahua min-pin mix would likely never chew the cord, so buying the protected cord may have been not needed. The only thing that I would change would include adding a digital thermostat control--but, I am guessing that adding a digital control would likely raise the price quite a bit. The knob does work just fine.

I purchased this cover to use in the cargo area of my Acura MDX. The measurements for the version sold for cargo areas came up a bit small, but this hammock style, laid flat, fits perfectly. Turned to the nylon side, this cover worked perfectly at the beach...catching all the sand from our beach stuff, and it was so easy to un-clip and dump. When at home, we turn it to the fleece side and it protects the carpeted backs of the back seats and the floor in the cargo area where the dog rides. The model made by Acura specifically for the MDX ($199) is all vinyl-coated fabric and the dog hair doesn't stick to it...but it flies all around the car! The fleece lining also un-zips from the cover and it washes & dries beautifully in the machine. Very good quality, and even better price.

We ordered this particular seat cover because it had the largest overall dimensions of any other comparable cover. It also does not look out of place compared with our dark graphite colored interior. Has adjustable straps that have plastic clips for easy installation around the front and back headrests. Two rows of sticking hold the straps at the edge of the cover, which look solid now, but time will tell. Also has seat belt zippered holes to access the seat belts if needed. The nylon side might be a little slick for a dog in a sudden stop, but still holds back moisture from the fleece side. The removable fleece liner and waterproof nylon reverse side were prefect and turned out to be and excellent choice after the first day of use.

Long story short, the dog got sick and made a mess in the back seat with the fleece side up. When we got home 5 minutes later, we just unzipped the fleece and threw it in the washer. It soaked through en entire dog bed and the fleece, but did not penetrate the nylon liner of the seat cover! We zipped the liner back on the next day and it still looks brand new!

Great seat cover. I highly recommend.

I bought this product because of all the great reviews.

I have a 55 pound dog.

After two weeks the vinyl fabric straps broke responsible for holding up the hammock on the head rests.

Instead of returning it I took it to my sewing guy and had him reinforce all four corners of the straps.

Within a day one broke it seems as if this design is only suited for slight pressure on the hammock (a smaller dog).

I would not recommend this for a bigger dog or dogs.

Great hammock but straps are useless and will break on you!

Now I'm stuck with a hammock with no straps that can't be returned.

Very disappointed.

One of the headrest straps broke during the install. And my Golden Retriever took care of the rest during a brief trip to and from the store. This is a very poorly made product. It may work just fine for a calm passive dog that sits perfectly still in the back seat. This is not for a 75lb. hyper active Golden bouncing back and forth between windows. I returned it immediately. I gave one star for Amazon's hassle free refund process.

FYI: A couple of weeks later my wife found a similar style dog car seat cover at Bed Bath & Beyond for $10. And it has straps that are twice as thick and heavy duty stitching. And it is still in one piece after several trips. I rarely, if never, leave a negative product review on Amazon. However, this Cruising Companion Dog Cover was absolutely terrible.

Recieved this contraption about a month ago. Bought it for my dad who acquired my pitbull/doberman mix when i moved and our baby come along.

It looks great in its pictures and you would think that it should be easy enough to put together. Thats not the case. When we got it out of the box and tried to unroll it, the bottom/top of the fencing was not twisted, just loose ends like it was uncomplete. It was so bad that after hours of unrolling it inch by inch and twisting ends back together, we gave up. Weeks later, its still not up due to the aggravtion factor. Not to mention the fencing itself has got to be ther thinnest, cheapest metal i have ever come across.

For such a pain in the a.., you would be better off going to home depot and buying material and doing it yourself. You have to assemble this as you would your own material, so the only difference would be quality of material and starting from scratch, not someone elses headache.

DO NOT BUY. unless you have way too much time on your hands.

This unit goes together pretty well, although the process for wiring the top and bottom of the chain link to the frame is quit tedious I'm sure there must be a better way! The unit looks good and functions well, and I found the price quite reasonable. I did find that the chain link is a lighter gauge than standard, and even our very little dogs were able to bend it up by chewing on it. This is easy enough to prevent, however, by adding additional ties to the top and bottom. As long as the dogs can't get hold of any loose ends, the chain link seems to hold up just fine. Gate hardware and overall construction of the kennel are quite good.

I actually purchased my kennel from a different seller. I got a great deal as local costs for kennels were $280+.

After receiving it, I pulled the directions out and followed them step by step. The directions were easy to follow. I was able to get the frame together in about 10-15 minutes.

The chain link come folded so you have to open it up length wise, straighten the links, and then roll it back up to place on the frame. There were kinks in it and some of the fence was narled pretty badly. I just did my best to straighten them out. After about 45 minutes to an hour later, I finally had it installed on the frame.

I put my dog in it. She appeared to be annoyed that she was in it. Later that evening I came outside to put some items in the shed. My dog walked by me. I thought it was a bit odd so I escorted her back to the kennel. The kennel was moved at an angle. I thought she had dug under it. After closer inspection, I found the bottom half of the fence gnarled up. The fence has very little dried blood on it. I checked my dog for injuries but did not see anything.

I went back to the directions and made sure I had set the wire ties at the appropriate spacing for the fence to be attached to the frame, which was correct. I had to pickup some wire ties at the local hardware store. $4.00 per 30 ties. I bent the fence back into place and re-tied the fence adding a few more ties to each side then put my dog back in the kennel. After another hour or so I came back to check on her. She got out again on the opposite side. After about three days of going back and fouth addind more and more ties and straighten the fence out. I finally managed to get her to stay in the kennel. I had to add a tie at every ending link and I ended up having to add a hanger in the middle of the links on the area she continued to come out at.

It's a good deal, but you have to do a little extra to make it last. I did end up getting the cover, and it fits rather funny and doesn't sit all that well.

I received this product very quickly from Amazon, it was well packed and easy to move.

The instructions were clear and the parts are all marked clearly and the frame took all of 10 minutes to put together, not too bad right .....

... wrong !!. The chain link was all kinked up and took an hour to unkink. Once that was done, I was able to stretch it around the frame but the links are so low grade that unkinking and stretching damaged half of it !! The quality of the product is very low grade, if it wasn't so badly damaged I would return it but I guess you get what you pay for.

My advise, if possible have a nice one professionally built or build your own if you so inclined, you will get alot more time out of it and have something that will secure your precious pet.

Very speedy delivery. Needed a 3ft x 10 ft kennel instead of 4ft x 10 ft. Called the company and they said "no problem" just adjust the chain link when assembling the kennel. Was easy to do and went up easily. We have coyotes out here and I put a chicken wire-type top on it and it keeps our Westie & Scottie safe when we are out having fun!

I got this item because it was made by the same company that made the hedgehog that my dog loves so much. It got here in the smallest box imaginable and I thought that maybe I ordered the wrong one. Don't be deceived though. All those legs squish up inside really nicely. Our dog loves the toy almost as much as he loves the hedgehog one. It's been very sturdy for tug of war as well I was sure it wouldn't last a day. We have a pit bull that loves to rip his toys apart so anything that will last more than a month is great!

My 4 month old black lab puppy, Cody, loves this toy. He chewed a leg off within a couple of weeks. In the last week, I sewed it closed twice. Finally, the grunter came out of the body through a split seam and the dog chewed through the bag. It was so obviously his favorite toy (sometimes, in ways that my 6 year old girl called "wiggling his legs", which I don't think I'll explain to her, at this point). If the toy weren't so expensive, I'd get another immediately. I wish it had lasted more than a few weeks. I think I'll next try the large octopus, which also has one of those grunters in the body and is made by the same company. It's almost as big, has 8 legs and is almost half the price. I have to admit that I love that grunting sound the toy makes when my Cody bites down on it.

We used these pads for the first couple of months with our beagle puppy. I loved the fact that they were eco-friendly since I do try to be conscious of the waste I produce. The downfall is that they leak. The great thing about it is that it REALLY keeps the odor down. I still use them (from time to time) with a holder and it still leaks but there's no smell.

This is a great toy for our 12lbs. Chihuahua. She is a ferocious chewer and destroyer of toys BUT she has yet to damage this ball. She can get her mouth around it, chew and chew and has yet to penetrate the ball. She LOVES squeaky toys and usually is successful in finally removing the squeaker but she can't get to this one no matter how long she tries. The ball is also a great toy for in the house as it is soft and light weight enough that it can be thrown and bounced in the house with no noise and no damage.

My dog chewed through the virtually indestructible Everlasting Fire Plug the first night it was given to him. Their site claims that "It's made from an exclusively designed material that is both durable and tear resistant to hold up to even the toughest chewers." He is an aggressive chewer which is why I sought after this toy, but I never expected him to go through it so fast, and I am very disappointed that I wasted $20 on a toy that didn't hold up to its claims.

I was surprised to read the earlier reviews that this toy is easily chewed through, as I have not found this to be the case. I have a 65 pound, 7 month old puppy who loves chewing on toys and has not been able to chew through this or any of the other Everlasting toys we have. So I wonder whether this product has been improved since those reviews. I do, however, wish that the treats that are used as "plugs" for these toys were not so expensive; especially since they do not last very long. But having the compartment in the middle to hold kibble or other treats is great. It definitely keeps my puppy busy.

I got a small Everlasting Fire Plug for my Pomeranian because he really enjoys toys that he has to work for to figure out how to get the treats out. He has a plastic egg with a hole in it that I fill with chicken jerky treats for him every day before I go to work, and I seriously think that is the best part of his day! Sometimes if I don't get out of the door fast enough I can hear him making groaning noises behind me, as if to say "come on mom, hurry up!!" I got one of these because I was hoping that it would add some variety in his daily routine and give him something else to work with but I was wrong. After a few minutes of working at it, the toy lies forgotten.

I think that part of the reason that it isn't as big of a hit is because of the treat itself. It isn't real chicken which is his favorite and I think that the liver just doesnt' taste as good. Also I think that this treat/toy is going to be appealing for a dog that doesn't want to win and has a ton of patience because there really is no way for a dog to win at this toy and get all of the treats out within a reasonable amount of time. I believe it would have taken him all day, if not several days of hard work licking and chewing on this toy to seriously make a dent in it.

Some positive things about this toy would be that there are holes on either side of the fire plug that allow you to put other types of treats in there for the dog to work at to get out. The toy itself is very durable and seems to be made of a soft rubbery material that I would imagine is easy to chew at but doesn't easily break away.

I would suggest this toy for your dog if they are highly food motivated with any type of treat. This would increase your chances I think for your dog to work at this longer. I hope that this review helped you in making your decision!

I have an 8 month old Dachshund puppy who is an extremely aggressive destroyer of toys. An extreme Kong lasts her about 42 seconds. I bought this for her because the store recommended it and advised they would take a return if she destroyed it. She grabbed the rubber rim that grips the everlasting ball, bit it one time and ripped it open. Then the treat just popped out. Of course, she didn't really care about the treat, she just let it sit on the floor while she used the next 3 or 4 seconds to literally tear this toy to shreds.

Thank goodness my local pet store agreed to take it back or I'd be out 20 dollars for 10 seconds of play.
