I was pretty surprised when I opened the box and there was no crate with it. I clearly didn't read the description very well lol. But before I returned it because I need the actual crate more than the pretty cover, I checked it out and love it. Its high quality and really pretty. I got a crate at Petco because I couldn't return this product (even though I spent twice what I want to... :)

I do love this item, although I should have read the description more than looking at the picture. This item that comes will be PINK not PURPLE which is what I really wanted. But it still is a good product and my little Zoey loves it anyway. It is a nice cushion for the dog and the cover makes the crate look better than a crate just sitting there and offers privacy for the dog who loves it. Zoey on the other hand likes to see so we have put the cover away for later use.

Don't get me wrong, I think this crate cover and bed is very cute and I think my dog will love it. HOWEVER, like several other people have said, the name of the product and pictures lead you to believe that this is a 2-piece set including the covering *and* the crate (1 piece being the crate itself and the other piece being the bedding/covering). After I ordered the product and noticed the absence of the crate, I did notice that the description of the product does explain that it's only the covering. Unfortunately, since I was in a hurry to order the set and get it to my house before I left for vacation, I was foolish and only looked at the title and pictures before ordering the product.

I know this is not the company's fault, but I would strongly suggest them including some pictures of the bedding by itself (without being on the crate), just so that people would realize that the pieces come separately.

I ordered 1 for each of our 8 (yes, I am in rescue) dogs ! That alone speaks volumes about the price and quality of this coat.

Easy to put on, has warm fleece inside, amply insulated and well made. I sew and I can tell you I could not make this coat for the prices being charged and that's not including my time.

Our dogs of sizes varying from very small to 79 lbs. love these coats and are able to move freely in them....They can "run laps" in the backyard without any clothing restrictions.

The sizing is true so just order the regular size your dog wears and you should not have any problems.

I plan to stencil their names on the sides of the coats with permanent marker so we know which coat belongs to which dog.

Highly recommend this product for your best friend !

The coat is good, fabric is decent quality, however as other reviewers have mentioned the velcro at the neck doesn't hold well, especially when used with a harness. It loosens with the slightest pull and I constantly have to adjust it as we are walking.

This is so cozy and adorable. My only complaint is that the sizing seems to be off...actually, way off. My dog weighs 24 pounds, is a Cavapoo (spaniel-poodle mix) but after reading other reviews I decided to order him a Medium. If I went by the manufacturer's sizing chart I would have gotten him a Small. Even with the Medium, it fits him very snuggly and just barely makes it around his chest. They should allow a lot more room with the Velcro bands that go around the chest! But, it's nicely made, economical (but doesn't at all look cheap) and makes my little guy look quite dapper. The green color is very nice, too.

Love this coat. I have one for each of my three dogs. However, the large runs a little small. It fits my 22'' Beagle perfectly. She is a little overweight, but it definitely would not fit a dog over 40-45 lbs. I bought this last year for a great price and have just recently started getting good use out of it since moving to Alaska. Works well for rainy days, cooler Fall days, and Winter days. It is now in single digits to -9 degrees and she seems to stay warm enough with only this coat on. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for something affordable and durable (have washed a few times with no issues).

The item pictured is a black mesh-walled crate. That's what I thought I ordered. But what arrived (in an obviously opened and re-taped box) was a taupe fabric-enclosed crate with a mesh door on top and in the front. I think I read another reviewer here say it was the "new" model, and it was no good. I should have listened, but instead, I took my chances I'd get the right product.

The worst part is, this crate is not secure. I followed the instructions for setting up the crate. You pull on a pin and the metal poles pop into place (like tent poles). But, they don't lock properly, and if you push a little bit on the outside, or pull on the poles from the inside, it collapses. If my dog pawed or pulled on the poles with her teeth, the tent could easily collapse on her. I promptly returned it. This product should be taken off the market, it is unsafe.

I sent display feedback to Amazon, so hopefully, they will at least change the picture. Better yet, they should stop carrying this item before someone's dog gets injured.

I have a crate exactly like the one pictured and would like one or two more. For dogs who are already crate trained its excellent and there is lots of mesh so they can see out and have good ventilation. However, there is a newer version of this crate, same manufacturer, that has only one mesh door and a couple small strips of mesh. If they are sending this crate instead of the one pictured,as one reviewer indicated, its terrible and you should NOT buy it.

This kennel could not have come at a better time! I am getting ready to travel cross country with my 45# Goldendoodle & I needed a kennel that was light-weight & portable. My kennel size is large.

Pros:

Sturdy, well ventilated, top & side entry, carrying case, very roomy, light-weight.

Cons:

Hard (at first) to lock into place, chemical smell from the fabric.

Think pack-n-play & a Coleman fold-up chair, all rolled up into a kennel.

I would buy this product again. Thumbs up ;)

The crate is easy to setup and take down. I keep the carry bag stuffed in one side pocket. In the other I keep leashes and other dog stuff. The crate stays in the back of my Grand Caravan. I have 2 terriers with a combined weight of 60 lbs. The size works, I can keep both dogs in the same crate. The only problem is that it is so lightweight that if I have to brake suddenly, the crate rolls forward and the dogs go for a head over heels tumble. They are dogs and this hasn't seemed to bother them or affect their willingness to ride in it. So we're good. Well, at first, they were like what the heck? But now I think they expect it. I think it is safer than having them roaming around the van if god forbid there is an accident.

Recieved this contraption about a month ago. Bought it for my dad who acquired my pitbull/doberman mix when i moved and our baby come along.

It looks great in its pictures and you would think that it should be easy enough to put together. Thats not the case. When we got it out of the box and tried to unroll it, the bottom/top of the fencing was not twisted, just loose ends like it was uncomplete. It was so bad that after hours of unrolling it inch by inch and twisting ends back together, we gave up. Weeks later, its still not up due to the aggravtion factor. Not to mention the fencing itself has got to be ther thinnest, cheapest metal i have ever come across.

For such a pain in the a.., you would be better off going to home depot and buying material and doing it yourself. You have to assemble this as you would your own material, so the only difference would be quality of material and starting from scratch, not someone elses headache.

DO NOT BUY. unless you have way too much time on your hands.

This unit goes together pretty well, although the process for wiring the top and bottom of the chain link to the frame is quit tedious I'm sure there must be a better way! The unit looks good and functions well, and I found the price quite reasonable. I did find that the chain link is a lighter gauge than standard, and even our very little dogs were able to bend it up by chewing on it. This is easy enough to prevent, however, by adding additional ties to the top and bottom. As long as the dogs can't get hold of any loose ends, the chain link seems to hold up just fine. Gate hardware and overall construction of the kennel are quite good.

I actually purchased my kennel from a different seller. I got a great deal as local costs for kennels were $280+.

After receiving it, I pulled the directions out and followed them step by step. The directions were easy to follow. I was able to get the frame together in about 10-15 minutes.

The chain link come folded so you have to open it up length wise, straighten the links, and then roll it back up to place on the frame. There were kinks in it and some of the fence was narled pretty badly. I just did my best to straighten them out. After about 45 minutes to an hour later, I finally had it installed on the frame.

I put my dog in it. She appeared to be annoyed that she was in it. Later that evening I came outside to put some items in the shed. My dog walked by me. I thought it was a bit odd so I escorted her back to the kennel. The kennel was moved at an angle. I thought she had dug under it. After closer inspection, I found the bottom half of the fence gnarled up. The fence has very little dried blood on it. I checked my dog for injuries but did not see anything.

I went back to the directions and made sure I had set the wire ties at the appropriate spacing for the fence to be attached to the frame, which was correct. I had to pickup some wire ties at the local hardware store. $4.00 per 30 ties. I bent the fence back into place and re-tied the fence adding a few more ties to each side then put my dog back in the kennel. After another hour or so I came back to check on her. She got out again on the opposite side. After about three days of going back and fouth addind more and more ties and straighten the fence out. I finally managed to get her to stay in the kennel. I had to add a tie at every ending link and I ended up having to add a hanger in the middle of the links on the area she continued to come out at.

It's a good deal, but you have to do a little extra to make it last. I did end up getting the cover, and it fits rather funny and doesn't sit all that well.

I received this product very quickly from Amazon, it was well packed and easy to move.

The instructions were clear and the parts are all marked clearly and the frame took all of 10 minutes to put together, not too bad right .....

... wrong !!. The chain link was all kinked up and took an hour to unkink. Once that was done, I was able to stretch it around the frame but the links are so low grade that unkinking and stretching damaged half of it !! The quality of the product is very low grade, if it wasn't so badly damaged I would return it but I guess you get what you pay for.

My advise, if possible have a nice one professionally built or build your own if you so inclined, you will get alot more time out of it and have something that will secure your precious pet.

Very speedy delivery. Needed a 3ft x 10 ft kennel instead of 4ft x 10 ft. Called the company and they said "no problem" just adjust the chain link when assembling the kennel. Was easy to do and went up easily. We have coyotes out here and I put a chicken wire-type top on it and it keeps our Westie & Scottie safe when we are out having fun!

This item was delivered 2 days ahead of the expected delivery date which was awesome! Fairly quick to assemble by 1 person, it only took me about 25 mins. just by looking at the drawing instructions. It was the right size for our 2 shih-tzu puppies, the divider is great when we have to separate the 2 when it's feeding time and we just remove it so they can cuddle with each other with enough space (for now). The item itself is very sturdy and the quality is awesome, the trays are great, nothing sticks to it so clean up is a breeze, just spray it with a hose and everything comes off easily.

I would recommend this cage for people who has 2 toy dogs (or even 1 dog if you want ample space for your dog), good quality, a little bit heavy but 2 people can carry it when you need to move it around.

Amazingly, the dog who wears this coat (my daughter's 90 lb. pit bull) absolutely loves it, in part, because it's easy to put on and take off. He goes to the closet and "asks" for it when the weather is exceptionally cold. The coat is reversible, but he prefers the fleece next to his fur. The outer fabric looks durable, wind and water repellent, and it is very well sewn. Awesome has numerous human and canine friends in the neighborhood. The humans exclaim how cute he looks in his new barn coat; the canines just look jealous.

P.S. My daughter likes it, too, because the velcro means no wrestling the dog in and out of the garment. And it's machine washable.

The low rating for this product is because the seller did not provide proper sizing information. This caused me to order a product that was too big for my dog. However, I am doubtful that the product would have fit correctly even if the sizing information had been legible. The coat attaches via two flaps one that goes across the dog's chest and another that goes across the dog's belly. In both flaps, the length of velcro provided is inadequate to tightly fasten the coat. If the coat had been properly sized, it is possible that the belly and chest strap would have fit snugly. However, given the widely varying size of dogs, to provide only a 3" length of velco is annoying. A 6" or even 8" length would have allowed for a much better fit no matter what the size of the dog, and wouldn't have cost that much more.

Also, I was very disappointed that the product took as long as it did to arrive, given that I paid over $8 for shipping and handling. This is a profit center for the seller, since I cannot believe that it took a whole lot of handling to shove a plastic-encased cloth item into a paper envelope and write a name/address on the front. If I can get hardcover books shipped to me via media mail from across the country for $4 in a week, I don't understand why this item couldn't arrive within a couple days via first class mail, especially when I'm paying more than twice as much.

I'm very disappointed with the product and with my shopping experience with this vendor. I will not be buying from them again.

I have two small dogs (8 pounds and 18 pounds) this is a great coat because it is super easy to put on and take off, there is nothing constricting that could hurt them and the side that touches them is soft, but the outer coat is more like a jacket and repels rain/snow as opposed to allowing it to soak in. It's been the best coat that we found for their comfort and our ease of use.

We purchased two of these crates for our 60 lb dogs over 2 months ago. The 42" size is quite large, in fact, both dogs can sleep comfortably together in one. The crates are like cozy, mini tents and my husband and I joke that we'd like to sleep in them. They are very light to move around, and easy to fold up or down.

We've had two problems. One is that our newest dog (a year old puppy) chewed through one of the zippers within the first week. We solved that problem with some training, and we still use the crate with that opening against the wall. So obviously not for chewers.

The second problem is the most concerning for me. Other people have mentioned the smell... I can't state this strongly enough these crate smell like a petroleum product. We initially had the crates in our great room, and sure enough the smell seemed to go away after a few weeks. We recently moved the crates into our bedroom and discovered that in fact, they do still smell. Strongly enough that I'm concerned about the effect on our dogs overtime. We usually don't zipper the doors anymore, so the dogs can come and go as they please and they are still choosing to go in their crates (like I said earlier cozy!). But the smell bothers me, so I can imagine how it must bother the dogs who have a much more keen sense of smell.

The prices on these crates keep going down (other websites sold them a while back retail for $180) so I would imagine that they are aware of the smell problem....

Great crate for our golden puppy. He slept in it every night until very recently.

Easy setup, and very durable. Our boy is a chewer, and he's given up trying to chew on this crate.

Seemed very large when we first got it, but now his paws brush the sides/back when he stretches out. He's about 7 months old and 55 lbs, so is not yet fully grown. You might want to consider the 42 inch model if you have a dog that will grow to 70+ lbs.

It's a fantastic crate. Except for one problem it stinks! Received this more than two weeks ago sets up very easily. Seems very sturdy and would be great for traveling which is what my wife and I wanted it for. To take our yellow lab on trips with us this summer. Unfortunately, within an hour of having it in the house, my wife developed a headache and started feeling sick to her stomach. The smell was unbearable. The dog won't go near it. We read through some of the reviews and tried all the suggestions except for washing it in the washing machine. Wanted to be able to return it if necessary. We set it outdoors, sprayed it with Febreeze, wiped it down with vinegar, etc etc etc. Still stinks. Horrible horrible chemical odor. Sad to do it but we are returning it. Going to be nervous about buying another one online without being able to smell it first!

I bought this crate for traveling with my crate-happy 70 pound Old English Sheepdog/Pit Bull mix, Hudson. We often stay in hotels and lugging a regular crate with me was getting to be a pain.

Somewhat concerned about the smell everyone talked about in the reviews, I was prepared to air it out awhile before using it.

True, when I opened the box, there was that "new car" type smell, or maybe more like "new plastic". However--as planned-I opened it up, left it on the porch for a few days, then in a spare room for another week or so and now there is virtually no odor at all (unless you're trying hard to find it).

So while it took awhile for that plastic smell to blow off, it really wasn't anything worse than I'd expect from any item made with so much petroleum content.

I recommend this crate for well-trained dogs who are comfortable and happy in their crates. It folds down simply, is very portable and light, and it stores easily under a bed or in the trunk of a car. It is quite sturdy and I expect it to last for many, many trips. The added benefit of being able to fold it down and carry it wherever it's needed makes the purchase completely worthwhile.

Just order it ahead of time and let it air out before use. It's still the best travel crate I've found!

I was a little worried that my 7mo old border collie would claw his way out of this, but so far so good. I have owned a blue version of this crate for a number of years and Love it. When i first got it i was worried that it wouldnt stand up to the abuse that i tend to put my crates through. It has held up great! All of my dogs are pretty good in the crate but sometimes they get excited and scratch at dog shows; the mesh has held up and so has the the other fabric.

When i first got the crate it was a bit difficult to put up becuase the fabric was so new. After a while of using it (putting it up and taking it down) it loosened up a bit and now setting it up is easy!

Love this crate. Got it for my border collie. It's a nice design, well made, very affordable, light weight, and even the carrying bag is easy to get the crate back into. I use this for obedience and rally trials, so am only putting well trained dogs into it that I know for sure won't chew it or dig at the mesh. I would not advise this item for an untrained dog. Plan to buy a smaller one in the near future for my chihuahua too! Fast delivery too!
