It's nice looking and sturdy for a collar this width. The clasp is nice and tight, so it won't suddenly or accidentally come apart. I was worried about the clasp getting worn quickly because it is plastic, but we use it everyday and it shows no signs of wear so far.

I bought the medium and large Jet Set pet carrier through Amazon for my Chihuahua and Dachshund after looking at all the other carriers in New York pet stores. I simply wanted an attractive and rugged dog carrier that could genuinely withstand the rigors of travel and protect my dogs against inevitable knocks and jolts. It needed to be well padded and offer far more protection than the most popular soft carrier but also be able to squeeze under an airplane seat. However at home, I needed something that wasn't so utilitarian that it needed to be shut away but instead could function as a subtle and sensible den.

On the whole, I found almost all the competition either too feminine bordering on the stupid and/or too flimsy for serious consideration by anyone not just considering flying with a dog, but for any travel whether by car, subway or even bicycle!

The Jet Set carriers have proven themselves as very tough and practical. I like their well padded interiors and simple tough exterior (though I wish they came in other colors especially black or dark brown). The floor, side walls and ceiling all have what feels like at least a half inch of foam padding on a semi-rigid backing. The interior padding is covered in a soft black cloth. I wish that the floor was removable or there was a fleece lining I could buy so I simply line it with newspaper and cover with an old folded bath mat. The exterior shell in tough thick ballistic nylon (that as I mentioned I wish came in other more muted colors). On either side are windows with roll-up cover flaps and both ends have zippered soft nylon mesh openings. These offer a good mix of ventilation and privacy that some other dog carriers don't either too much or too little. Also my Dachshund has chewed through the soft plastic mesh of other brand dog carriers (that I was unhappy with for all the reasons I like the Jet Set) but at best, just flossed his teeth on the Jet Set's mesh.

I completely endorse and recommend the Jet Set bag. I can't imagine there is a better dog carrier on the market I certainly didn't find one in the dozen or more pet stores I visited in Manhattan ranging from Petco to very high end designer shops. They've performed amazingly well and at about $110 were excellent value for money especially compared to both cheaper and much more expensive carriers that look foolish and don't offer your dog enough protection on the move. I've seen some people on airplanes that have "fashion" dog bags that one could see were completely inadequate and inwhich the dog was uncomfortable and miserable. My dogs love their Jet Sets as dens at home (tucked under dining chairs in the corner of a room) and inasmuch seem just as relaxed and happy curled up/stretched out in them on the subway, in a plane or car.

I have a large 13 lb cat that I bought this bag for. The size was just right for him to stand and turn around. I traveled with this bag on American Airlines with no issue. Though the bag fit under the seat in front of me, it is a bit long. I was fortunate in that the person seated next to me did not have any carry-on luggage to stow as my bag did encroach into his space.

The mesh ventilation is good and bad. Good in that it is sturdy and will not be easily torn. Bad in that the holes are very small, providing little air flow. My cat was damp when I finally landed and was able to pull him out. I believe it to be due to the humidity build up in the bag.

The straps on the bag are awkward. The handle straps work ok. I was able to hold onto the bag this way for a while. Due to the size of the cat and his movement, it was hard to keep a steady balance. The shoulder straps were not that great. With a smaller pet, it might have been ok. When my cat would shift weight it would cause the bag to tip and my cat to slide to the bottom, resulting in the bag flipping on end. I ended up carrying him with two hands through the airport to try and keep the bag level.

Overall. The bag is good. It works with a larger cat and met the airline's requirements, which is just what I needed.

I definitely knew what the dimensions were when I ordered this because I needed to make sure it fit the requirements of United Airlines, however, this thing is really small! My dog will fit in it but she barely has room to curl up, she's going to be making the sides bulge to do so. She's a Chihuahua/Terrier, 12 pounds, and about 12" from collar to base of tail.

The mesh windows do seem very durable. My complaint is that the windows aren't big enough to give her much visual while inside. And it's difficult for me to see her inside of it and make sure she's comfortable.

Also the backpack "straps" are very uncomfortable, there is not padding on them and after wearing it with the dog for a few minutes they started to dig into my shoulders.

The top of the carrier has some "give" so it should be able to fit under any plane seat. Other carriers I've seen have very stiff piping that don't allow much pushing down on the top--which is good for safety reasons...Overall this carrier has lots and lots of padding to protect the dog on all sides.

My last "complaint" is that the soft insert that lies on the carrier floor doesn't velcro down, so that could move around a bit but it's not as bad as other carriers I've seen. We're taking her on a flight in about a month, so hopefully all goes well.

I use size XL for my 55lb boxer girl. Neither the XL or the L fit well straight out of the package. I also bought iron-on velcro to extend the velcro already on the diaper; It makes it fit around the legs and stay on(and in my opinion is totally necessary). I also sewed the tail hole closed since her tail was too short and incorrectly positioned to utilize the tail hole. A large probably could've fit if my dog didn't need diaper liners/pads, but with the pads you definitely need a little extra room. I use Tena Heavy and Long. They're about $10-12 for a 42 pack. In combination with the pads and the velcro, these cover-ups are great. They launder easily, and my dog doesn't mind them as much as other brands. They're lightweight and comfortable, yet do the job.

First of all I ordered a size L, for my 50 lb boxer. They were WAY too small. I sent them back and got an XL. They fit better, but still wont stay in place like they should. I am constantly having to adjust them and re-tighten them. I ended up just buying a pair of little kids underwear and putting a maxi-pad in them, that worked way better and was cheaper.

These pants fit our German Shepherd just perfect. We place a womans sanitary pad inside and everything stays in place. Very durable. We wash them in the machine and hang to dry.

Worked perfect for a small great dane I was fostering that went in to heat. She was small (just under 100 lbs.) so these were great for more active days in the house, but I used the XXL for night time/sleeping. I added a women's maxi pad (the cheaper ones worked better for some reason) for absorbency. Great product and I would buy more if I ever needed more. I kept 4 pairs around so I wasn't doing laundry all the time, but that seemed to be enough.

OK we got the bars across the seat and the backseat hammock. But it wasn't enough for our Border Collie he chewed through the hammock and squished under the bars and I found him sitting in the drivers seat with his muddy paws when I came out of the post office. Easy to install and most importantly, keeps my 3 dogs from visiting the front seat of my van. It is low enough so I can see over it, in to the back and out the back window, but high enough to do the job of pet containment.

We have a yellow lab. As lab owners know, they are wonderful dogs. Unfortunately, they are a member of the porcupine family and love to leave their quills stuck in everything. Seasons seem to have no affect on the amount they shed. I have a knew RAV4, the instant my back is turned, he wants all over the front seats leaving masses of hair and drool. After checking the reviews, I chose the Petego. In the three weeks I have had it, he hasn't crossed the divide.

The only downside I see, is that the interior of the car now resembles a police cruiser. A small price to pay.

I got this barrier to stop our dogs migrating from the back seat of the truck to the front seat when it's parked. That the truck was new and has leather upholstery instead of cloth/plastic made the requirement more urgent.

Well, it keeps one of the dogs on the back seat (golden retriever). The other dog (yellow labrador) has worked out that the top edge bends. So the first time we came back to the truck after running an errand, we find a labrador in the front passenger seat, and a golden retriever on the back seat.

The installation was also bit more a hassle than expected. While simple enough (make loops, drop them around the base of the seats, tie the other end to the headrest posts), it didn't allow for the fact that not all seats are bolted to the floor the same way, nor that there might be electrical cables coming up for seat control.

So, if you have larger dogs, or dogs determined to explore, accept the fact you'll probably have to order the bars as well, because this barrier alone won't stop their forward migration.

As for me and my dogs they now travel in the car unless we're towing something.

I bought this along with the Walky Guard Car Barrier for our 2008 Audi TT and Honda Ridgeline. I had originally intended to use this in the Ridgeline. It is hard to tell from online pictures how these things are going to fit. Turns out , the Walky guard fits well in the Honda and this is perfect for the Audi. The screen fits precisely between the roof and tunnel housing behind the front seats and completely blocks the area between the seats. It looks good and is very sturdy, with 3 fiberglass battens to strengthen the mesh. Our dogs are smaller but it should keep most breeds where they belong. It does block the rear view somewhat.

Honestly, I'm not crazy about this lead. The leather is NOT soft. It's rough on my wrist. It might become softer after it's broken-in, but I don't plan on using it that much. The length is fine when walking, but when my dog does her little circle dance to take a poop; it's too short. I have to walk around in circles with her hoping nobody calls Bellevue. Also, the clip is humongo! It's difficult to hook to the collar ring. The color (brown) is dull. Bottom Line: I wouldn't buy another one!

I've bough other Zack and Zoey dog hoodies before. This one is thicker than the other hoodies. It actually does have a fleece lining so it keeps my dog warmer. Because it's thicker than usual, I had to get a bigger size than the other Zack and Zoey dog hoodies. The velcro neck closure definitely helps. The one size bigger does help to cover more of my dog's back, and because it is thicker, the hoodie doesn't sag on his belly side. So I'm very pleased with this purchase.

We have a 10 week old puppy who wants to chew constantly. We have a variety of toys to keep her busy, but I wanted one she could really sink her teeth into and tear at (rather than our slippers, etc.). She loved the rope bear from the moment I took it out of the envelope, and even left a kong with peanut putter in it to chew the bear instead. I make sure to supervise her with it in case she manages to rip some of the loose strings off, but so far none have come off even though she has frayed the bear's ears. She plays with it for longer than any of her other toys. This was a good purchase and I'm sure I'll buy another when/if she ever tears through this one.

At first our small 14 pound dog (a white Coton which is similar to a Maltese but slightly larger) ignored this toy. After a couple weeks he started playing with it. It wasn't long, however, before we heard our dog choking. We ran over and pulled out a large wad of threads from his mouth and throat. We were amazed to see that toy was ripped into a pile of threads so quickly. (I've submitted a picture to Amazon which I hope they will post so you can see.)

I am giving this toy one star because it didn't last very long and because it could have killed our dog. I wouldn't recommend this toy unless your dog doesn't chew on toys and you always closely monitor your dog when he plays with toys.

My dog is so stylish with this coat. I got her the 16 even though I know she would have done better with a 14 but the price for the 14 was way more expensive and I just took the risk. It's a little long but either I'll make some adjustments or just leave it. I'll have to do a test run and see how it goes. She's 8 pounds and looks so cute in this! Love it and seems warm for a winter coat.

I purchased two of these houses for my dogs. They were very easy to assemble and are very study once put together. My dogs weigh 110 lbs and 80 lbs and both fit easily inside their house. I was afraid that they might chew on them because they were made of wood but I learned from my vet that this type of wood serves two purposes, it deters them from chewing because it taste horrible to them and cedar is a natural repelent for fleas. The roof is great and keeps the weather out nicely, the floor is raised off the ground and the legs have protective, platic feet to keep the moisture out. It is still wood though so I would suggest using a water repelent on the outside just for added protection. They are two years old now and still look as good as the day I bought them!

DO NOT BELIEVE THIS LINE:

There is NO WAY this could provide shelter on a winter day, this couldn't protect from a gust of wind on a late spring day, let along a cold gust in winter. Summer? maybe.

The feet are wood, untreated, and I expect them to be rotted off by this time next year.

This dog house was BARELY large enough for my SMALL FRAMED 75 pound lab.

The reviewer who said his two extra large dogs fit in in, well, maybe they fit if their limbs were detachable. My dog couldn't stretch out all the way, it is NOT that large.

VERY poor quality wood, felt more like balsam wood than fir.

The wood roof just soaks up rain because it is untreated, leaving the underside (inside the house) moist and damp.

NO, I did NOT like this dog house. I would have given it only ONE star but my dog doesn't live in his doghouse! He is a housepet, but I wanted something to protect him in case I was running late on an errand or something and the weather turned bad. I wanted to make sure he had reliable shelter until I got home, for piece of mind. But this dog house did not fit the bill.

I moved this out of the dog run (by myself, because it is light and cheap)

and Installed a LARGE real cedar dog house with insulation. With help, because good quality wood is obviously heavier than this contraption.

I also believe the reviewer who said their floor broke. My dog weighs 75 pounds, and that is about the limit this floor could have taken.

This dog house will NOT protect your dog from the elements, there is NO door cover, not even a slight lip to prevent rain or wind from going in, and the roof and sides are stained but NOT WATERPROOF. You will have to use a waterproofer if you want this dog house to withstand one season, let alone FOUR.

Also, it really bugged me, the picture and description state LOG EXTERIOR. There are NO LOGS, just cheap planks. They look exactly like panel planks you can buy at lowes. I counted all the planks, the wood on this if you got it from Lowes would have been about $20.

I did recieve this very fast and it was packaged well. And it LOOKS nice. But really it isn't good quality at all. Buyer beware.

I was drawn to this dog house by its look, the fact that the floor was raised off the ground and it was simply big enough for my 110 lbs rottweiler. Shortly after it arrived and was assembled, the floor BROKE! The walls now wobble without the added support from the floor. I am very VERY disappointed. I would have thought they would engineer it to support the weight of a dog that requires this size of house. Don't throw your money away.

With winter approaching, I bought this house to give my dogs a place to get out of the elements. While it is missing insulation, the construction is very high quality...and will provide shelter from wind and moisture. I am very pleased with the overall construction, the attractive design, and the ease of assembly. The house looks even better than the photo. It went together extremely quickly took no more than 10 minutes. The instructions were very straight-forward and easy to understand. The unit was packaged very well from the factory...with the hardware pieces arranged and laid out in a way very easy to identify/understand. Assembly litterally consisted of 8 bolts and 12 small screws. All you need is a screwdriver and a pair of pliers! I will very likely purchase a second one because of my overall happiness with this doghouse.
