I bought two of these jackets for my Rottweiler and my mastiff. They are the only affordable jackets I could find for such large dogs. I do like them and do recommend them to other dog owners BUT be prepared to get out the sewing machine!
First of all the Velcro that fastens around the front isn't strong enough to stay closed on large dogs. I had to sew the front shut otherwise the jacket falls off after about 5minutes. I just slip it over the head of the dog and it's not a big deal. I'm sure sewing on better Velcro would work just as well.
SECOND The trim came undone on one of the jackets after about the 3rd wear. The mastiff stays outside while I'm at work (comes inside when I am home) so he may have snagged it on something. I Just sewed the trim back on and I expect it not to come undone ever again.
The jacket is warm and fashionable. I bought the red and blue ones.

My pet is rather large and she is 10 years old. She has been walked every morning since she came into my life at 6 months old. Through rain, sun, snow, cold weather, you name it! It's a ritual for her and a God walk for me. I had a cape for the cold weather for her but it never really kept her warm. When I saw this coat, I prayed it came in an xxl as it would be perfect for her, I researched the site and was delighted to find that it did! I bought it and now my pet loves to wear it. It's a good idea, but the execution isn't the best. After extensive drying time, mine still developed mildew in the hose. Also, it fell from the hooks onto the cement and cracked.I might have gotten 4 or 5 good washes with it before throwing it in the trash .

Much like other reviews, I think there should be a way to pressurize the water...you don't always have a place to use this that's higher than your head. Update, 3-2013: the system continues to work perfectly: it's a great solution for when our cat decides to go AWOL. We got a second cat, so I'm buying a second collar transmitter (the remote can handle up to 4).

We bought this item to track our cat when she wanders or hides. We've been using it for a few months now and it has worked perfectly every time. The remote unit is easy to use and quickly leads us to her.
Our cat now recognizes the beeping of the collar as a sign that we're looking for her and when she hears it she'll give up and come out of her hiding place, or come running across the lawn toward us! So often we don't even have to step out to find her: as soon as we activate the tracking function on the remote, she comes to us.
The range is reasonable, probably a couple of acres in an open environment like a field or about an acre in a place where houses and concrete foundations are blocking the signal. When we don't get a signal immediately, walking in increasingly larger circles (with our house at the center) quickly gives us a signal to follow and she is found in a matter of minutes.
We have a very tiny cat (runt of the litter) and she has no problem at all with the tiny collar unit; she doesn't even seem to notice that it's there and has never attempted to get rid of it (unlike other "costumes" and harnesses and such that our kids have tried to afflict her with!).
She's gotten caught in pretty heavy downpours where she and her collar have been completely soaked and has dragged the collar through deep snow on a few occasions, but the silicone collar unit protector has always kept the unit totally dry.
I admit that I was a bit skeptical when we purchased this, but it's completely fulfilled and exceeded my expectations.
In one of my tests after it arrived, he was in the living room and I was able to get a signal from across the street, through two brick walls. This is much better than I expected. I've tested it through several brick walls and to my amazement, I can still track him.
The silicon splash protector slips over his collar; he doesn't seem to mind it. I've just received it today so I can't address how Loc8tor will hold up over time. If problems turn up, I'll post a follow-up review.

My cat was killed by a coyote six months after buying the Loc8tor, but I was consistently impressed with the Loc8tor for the six months I used it on my cat and will use it on my future pets.
The Loc8tor proved useful even after my cat's death. I suspected a coyote had taken him, but could not have confirmed it without the Loc8tor. It allowed me to easily locate his remains in the woods uphill from my house. It was upsetting, but at least I knew for certain not to hold out hope for him returning home. Finding his remains would have been impossible without the Loc8tor. This alone made it worth buying.
I did experience two glitches with it, which at first I thought meant the Loc8tor was defective. What happened was that on both occasions, the lights began flashing in meaningless ways. The first time it happened, I replaced the battery in the hand unit and that solved the problem. The second time, I simply reseated the battery and the problem went away. I suspect that this would have solved the problem the first time also.
I think the problem is that the battery is located precisely where you hold the unit, and that the pressure of your fingers might eventually move the battery enough to cause the problem. After I became aware of the problem, I was careful in how I held it and I had no more problems. With most products I'd dock a star for this, but the Loc8tor was so extremely useful to me and is such a unique product that I gave it five stars. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this device.

Loc8tor Pet was confusing to use, impossible to see in sunlight, and it's on-off button broke. We used the old model, not the one made for pets, which came later, with the tags sewn to the collar, and rain and some water didn't seem to be a problem. One interesting and convenient thing has happened: When we look for a cat, the collar beeps and tells him or her we are looking and the cat starts to head back to the house. Hope this helps you find your pet!
update: once the battery went dead, it stopped working I have tried several batteries (the ones recommended) and although the light indicates there is power, it does not respond to the remote. The company has not responded to my voicemails.
I would not buy this because there is no support if it does not work for you.

I really didn't expect it to work, but after my diabetic cat got trapped in someone's garage for three days, I decided it was worth trying in case it ever happens again. If your cat has not gone far and you'd like to know where it is, this is a great product hopefully some day, there will be a truer system in place let's face it, 400 feet (although I have not yet tested 400 feet) is not a lot. But my cat wears this everday and it is light and uncumbersome, and I feel 100% better knowing that in the event she is locked in some neighbor's garage or just being a pain in the butt trying to hide somewhere, that I can retrieve her. 36" Pink Pet House Soft Crate Carrie Review
Me & my dog we love this crate. It's full glamorous, it has plenty of ventilation, there's a lot of places where to put things away and the cushion is wonderful. As she is an old dog, this matt feels comfortable, otherwise, if she lies on the floor directly, her bones hurt
I had little problem w/ connecting inside the metal pieces, but you can open the top and easily put things together!
It is pretty roomy for my miniature schnauzer puppy and when she grows up fully (16" long), she will still have tons of space to stretch out.
It was so easy to assemble, so easy to break it down and so easy to carry!
Also, I love the fact that I can see my puppy and she can see me, too!

Just a warning to anyone concerned about exposing their households/pets to formaldehyde. The description does not mention this fact, so be warned and if you are concerned about this issue, research formaldehyde in furniture to see how hazardous it may be to your environment to make a more informed choice. I would not have purchased the item if it stated it contained formaldehyde, which the EPA has classified as a Probable Human Carcinogen meaning that it causes cancer in animals and likely humans.
However, the item arrived quickly and I was able to make the return with little problems after explaining to Wayfair why I would not have purchased the item if I had known in the first place. I was promptly refunded.

Not only for cats. I have a little dog that i have adopted and you can see that he feel safe in this from the other dogs. and i love how the top comes off the top as well. he'll go running and instead of fighting to get him out , pull the lid off and there you are. I really like how sturdy this is put together. I only wish it would have been a little bit bigger but it works. We have a 19lb cat and he is able to fit his fat butt in there so thats all that matters. It also makes a nice foot rest. As you can see, I only gave it 4 stars...that is because I ordered the wrong size. I set it up and I have 2 small dogs and it is way to big for them. HOWEVER, before I could take it down and repack it, they went inside it and began playing in it. So, since they went inside I did not feel it was right to send it back. Needless to say they have so much fun in it, but it takes up more space than I would like to give up. It is made well and VERY sturdy. It is easy to pop up, and that is all the assembly it takes...just a quick pop-up. It is a very good buy, because it costs so much more on other websites...about $17.50 more on other websites. I use it indoors, however, it is made for outdoors. I imagine with the heavy waterproof canvas it is made of it would keep your pet warm and dry. I do recommend it. We picked up a package of Earth Animal treats while on vacation in Maine, having exhausted our supply of other treats. The store manager recommended them highly because many of these are sold to older hunting dogs who spend a lot of time in the open in wet and cold weather, creating hip and joint problems. They were recommended to him bu a local vet so we gave them a try and brought home a few packages. Our Husky was all over them when we brought them to the car in a bag, so we opened the package and gave her one...man was she excited! We try to give her healthy protein based treats and minimize the grain. Some research told me that these actually have no grains at all, and are made from a very healthy strain of chicken and are antibiotic free. My dogs absolutely love these Quado bones. They chew and chew on these things like its the last supper. The only problem is exactly that; They devour these bones within the hour, instead of it lasting for a period of time. I have large dogs, and one dog took out 2 prongs in a matter of 15 min, completely devoured! At a cost of around $8 per bone, I cannot afford to give these things to my dogs often, as they do not last long enough. But they are crazy over them.

I see many of the reviews of this product were for PUPPIES. Maybe they aer good for PUPPIES, but NOT FOR DOGS!! I purchased 6 Quado dog bones. The dogs loved them and devoured them in only an hour. I was disappointed and disturbed that they went so quickly and went back to read the packaging to find a small blurb on the back of the package on the bottom right "Quado is to be consumed over a period of time and not in once sitting or even on day." (1) I paid about $8 for each bone with shipping. This was for a bone which lasted only an hour. I expected it to be a "bone" not a "treat." I could have taken my dogs out to dinner for that price. (2) If the bone is meant to be consumed over time, please make that obvious on the front of the package and not in some small print on the back. It worries me now why they printed the statement on the back.I can appreciate the fact that they created environmentally-friendly products and trusted that I would be satisfied with my purchase. I buy the best for my dogs despite not being a wealthy person. I bought these bones because the shape is a great design. I expected a bone that would last. I am disappointed. I would requested a refund for my purchase price. I have yet to hear from the company N-Bone.

As many people have commented, it wouldn't take an agressive chewer long to go through one of these, and they aren't exactly cheap, either. But personally, I can't imagine how the manufacturers of this innovative product have failed to highlight the usefulness of Quado bones to a very particular subset of pet-parents: those with mobility impared pets who have a hard time holding onto regular dog bones to chew them.Pepper was, if you can imagine this, a mix of Pekingese and Border Collie. A bug-eyed, bow-legged, long-haired dog with a bad underbite and a bad attitude to match. Even as a puppy, Pepper was never an especially playful dog. Instead, she preferred long walks and peanut butter flavored rawhides as enrichment activities.
At the age of about 14 & 1/2, Pepper's health and mobility began to suffer. We did everything we could to help keep her mobile and comfortable as her condition gradually deteriorated, but enrichment activities for a cantankerous, mobility-impared old dog proved difficult to come by. In her little "wheelchair", she could only walk a couple of houses down the street before becoming tired, and though she still showed interest in bones, she just couldn't manage to hold onto them to chew anymore. Then one day at a local pet store, I ran across Quado dog bones. I had never seen or heard of anything like this before, and it actually took a minute for it to "click"...for me to realize just what I was looking at and how it could be exactly what Pepper needed. The only size they had at the time was the "ginormous", which normally would be a bit big for a 25-lb dog, but then I also didn't have any smaller Quados to compare it to, so I bought one of the great big ones and crossed my fingers that it would work. I was excited but also fully prepared for the Quado to be yet another flop in a line of toys we'd tried that didn't work out, but it wasn't. Apparently the Quado smelled and tasted good enough to get Pepper's attention, and since it stood up on its own, she had no trouble chewing to her little heart's content. If it happened to get away from her, it was no big deal. It would simply "roll" over, and she'd start chewing a different leg. Even after the first leg had been chewed off, the bone would still "stand" enough to matter with 3 legs. As the bone got down to the last couple of legs she would lose the benefit of the "tripod", and we did often simply discard the last leg. Still, we could find no other product that met her needs nearly as well as the Quado. Price and durability, in this case, were not the most important factors. Having "a bone that stands on its own" was the one and only way Pepper was able to continue to enjoy chewing as usual during the final months of her life, and you just can't put a price on that.

My two boys really loved these Quado chewies, but I was disappointed that they didn't last longer. They probably lasted 30 minutes. For the price, I thought this was pretty fast.
