This toy dispenses treats WAY to easily, it only took my dog about 1 minute to get them all out. I also hated the fact that you had to buy the balls separately, and after doing that you still only had 3. If you wanted to place a ball on all the ends of the jack, you would have to buy not 1 but 2 extra packs.

Save your money and go buy something made by the Kong company.

I could not find any way to get the balls off to save my life on mine. But it didn't matter, since they don't hold anything in anyways food and treats fall out instantly since there is no real lip or anything to stop them. And my newly adopted little heeler started to chew bits off the red ends in less than 10 minutes. Now she'll chase it if I throw it outside, but then I have to take it away.

So not for chewers, way overpriced, not very functional, and not as fun as any of the other toys or chews. Easy to find in the snow though!

I have a 56# Weimaraner and it didn't take long for her to chew the toy up. Less than an hour. It was recommended by an instructor at obedience training. She's been destructive with EVERY toy, soft or hard. I wish I had realized I needed to order the additional blue balls. She would not have chewed it up with the balls on each end. I hate to give this a low rating but it didn't work for me. It's a strong, hard, rubber toy and you can put treats in it.

I'm going to be honest here, I was intrigued by the marketing, packaging and general assumption that this treat would at least somewhat taste like peanut butter, after all, I only give my dog the best. I consider myself a first line of defense of sorts for my dog. After purchasing this product, I was sitting in my car and my curiosity got the better of me. I tried one. It didn't taste bad, but it definitely didn't taste like peanut butter AT ALL. Zero peanut butter taste. How does a company get away with such blatant false advertisement like this. It's shocking, shocking I say.

But in all seriousness, there is no peanut butter flavor at all. Why say it when it's not true?

Dog still loves them though. But then again, the only thing he doesn't like is olives.

This toy is sooo cute! He says about 4 different things when the squeeze box is activated. When my dog hears the voices he drops the toy and cocks his head. It is so cute. And it keeps him from chewing the stuffing out of it like he does with toys that only have a squeaker. He takes Curly Stooge to bed with him. We bought all 3 but for whatever reason, Curly is his favorite. I like them all. Note that Moe says 4 things as well, 2 of them are the same as Curly and 2 are different. The Larry voice box is broken, but the company promply issued a refund. I am going to buy another Larry just so I can hear what he says. We have had these for about 2 weeks and they are all still intact, but a little dirty... and the dog plays with them daily. He's a big dog, too who's sole mission in life USED TO BE getting all the stuffing out of any toy. Love these toys, will definitely buy more when they are laid to rest.

We got this at the full price from a local store and I didn't really want to but Tiki wouldn't let me leave the store without it. Every time I put it down and walked away, she would grab it and catch up. It was the cutest thing but I fought her for a good 5 minutes until I finally just gave in. It last surprisingly long for a toy with an electronic component. She was absolutely obsessed with it (play with it from the moment she was allowed in the morning until it was taken away for bed time) for about 3-4 weeks until it finally didn't play anymore. It wasn't bad at first but the constant loop of 3 sayings got to be very irritating by the end of dear Curly's life. I've debated getting another one just because she was so in love with it but the shear annoyance has stopped me.

I never dreamed that "Curly" would be the favorite like the other reviews said. I thought... how could a dog know the difference in the 3... these people don't know what they are talking about. Then, the trio arrived. My 12-pound Boston Terrier gravitated to the Curly one. They all look and are shaped the same, so tell me how this dog prefers "Curly"? :-) It is true! (haha) Perhaps the sound box on Curly is easier to set off, or maybe it is just the shape of his head... but my recommendaiton is to order 3 Curly's if you have a choice. This is unless you have a love for the 3 Stooges and want them all. :-)

One thing, this has held up well for 2 days now with my 12-pound fairly destructive dog... but, might not withstand my daughter's VERY destrutive 32-pound Boston Terrier. I have a feeling that the toy will be "toast" when he gets here as he will dig for the sound box. I will post an update.

BTW, the voice box is loud enough to entertain my dog but is not overpowering (thank goodness). Perhaps they have turned the sound down since the last posts. :-)

I bought this for our little rescue ChipIn he had a marking problem and this fits the bill perfectly. It is very soft and is very well made. He hasn't been able to take it off either which is a big bonus. The only small issue I have is if you are going to give this as a gift the packaging left a lot to be desired it comes in a zip lock bag with no maker info etc..., but if this is for your own dog you will love it. Please note that I purchased Large for a 3 pound Chip-In so be sure to measure your dog before you order your size.

It's not as big as I thought it was, but it's big enough for my dogs. They have really short legs :) It's very light weight, I like the plastic tray bottom as opposed to the heavy metal one in my last crate. The latches are a little crooked and a little difficult to open and close.....the door is a little out of line, so the handles don't match up exactly, but it does the job.

I'm not even kidding. We bought this at a local pet store in NM because our cat is being a stupid bitch and peeing on our couch. I know it says for carpet, but it penetrated the couch cushion and completely did away with the smell. Then we started using it on carpets and pillows that smelled bad and it works on everything! This really does the trick. I have a 13 yr. old wee wee pad dog and she's great at hitting the target but occasionally she has gone a little too close to the edge. I am a smell freak and nothing seemed to get rid of the very faint smell. I used this exactly as directed and it worked. I realize that animals have a very strong sense of smell but to the human nose the smell is gone, even very "up close". I will always keep this on hand.

Doggy Den Dog House Review

I bought two of these recently to house some outdoor cats who took to it immediately specially having the two ways to exit the dog house so that they never feel trapped by any racoons or predators.

I put them together in under 7 minutes each. Amazing clear and easy to do.Feels sturdy too.

The roof is like some sort of chunky spray on tar bits which are weather proof. I would recommend you caulk the joints and the areas around the screw heads to avoid leaks. I'll update after we get through a winter.

We purchased the medium size dog house for our 30 lb dog as a dog kennel/indoor dog house. It arrived ok, the bolts, screws, washers etc... were scattered throughout the box. Apparently all the bags broke but all the pieces were accounted for and I was able to put it together without any issues. The dog house looks great, but I would not recommend it for outdoor use or to contain a large dog. The first time I locked the door, my 8 month old tibetan terrier bit the flimsy soft wood bars off the door and escaped within 5 minutes. I plan to keep the dog house, but I will likely make my own door, replace the hinges, lock, and replace or beef up the side window to contain my mini escape artist. I guess I should also mention the smell of the wood/stain; it is quite strong which may subside over time. The smell is not bad, it is just strong. Maybe that is why our dog wanted out so bad? Hmmm?. I would give this product 4.5 stars on looks, and 2.5 stars on quality/durability. Overall a 3.

I would say I like this dog house better than a plastic kennel as long as you feel comfortable making your own upgrades.

I have a cat who refuses to come inside.

This thing is not practical for an outdoor cat or dog.

PROS

1. Cute

2. Legs lift it up off the ground a bit for insulation and keeps the wooden bottom from rotting quickly

CONS

1. Rain soaks the inside. Those windows slats are cute but let in driving rain in both windows. If you don't have a covered porch or deck or garage forget this thing. The roof overhang is a joke. Wind drives in rain no matter which way I positioned the house. Forget it anyway since it is NOT insulated.

2. Not insulated. I purchased this in the summer not thinking about the winter. STUPID!! It is thin wood and those windows allow COLD wind to blow though on two sides.

3. It is getting cold now and I purchased a pet heater pad. At least these drafty open windows could be used to run the cord through....but even if my cat still used the house (he won't after getting rain wet)....a heating pad when it gets really cold is ...worthless.... because the wind whistling though the windows and the very thin wood walls and floor let in too much cold.

4. Hello!! Pets cannot open the door. You have to somehow tie the door wide open or it closes on its own and the pet cannot enter. I put a string through the door windows into the house and out through the open side slat windows and tied a knot outside. This keeps the door open all the time.

I wish I had not purchased it. I'm thinking of using it for a chicken coop for 2 small hens but I have to solve the rain getting inside issue.

Now I am deciding between 2 PRACTICAL options:

It has Self-storing window panels easily reposition from winters closed position to summers cross ventilation position without tools. Dog/cat can see out while he rests in comfort.

Floor is sloped and has a drain hold to make cleaning easy, just hose down and the water runs out. And my cat likes to cuddle with my medium sized dog....and this door allows both animals to enter.

Americas Pet Store dot Come also sells a Single deck insulated cat and Dog house (VERY NICE) or Double Decker Insulated Cedar Cat House that is an like a tree house with a platform. Their cat and dog house are INSULATE. It is great. The house or houses are INSULATED with door flaps, etc. Fantastic. Cats can sleep way elevated off ground or sleep on the platform deck over the actual insulated house. If I move, I can take it apart and it can lay flat taking up less room...unlike the plastic dog house. My dog is not shy about jumping on things and could easily jump to the platform and join his kitty buddy. I am leaning heavily towards this...but also like the DP Hunter Dog House.

I thought about the "The Kitty Tube Outdoor Insulated Cat House" because it is "cuter" but it is NOT raised off the ground and the windows are the handles from its description and the door opening cannot be widened to accommodate a larger pet and it would take up a lot of room if I had to move.

I live in the country and have 3 cats that live outside. I wanted something that they could take cover in during bad Kansas weather:) I purchased the medium size and it was more than large enough for all 3 of them!! The instructions were very easy to follow and I put this together in less than 30 minutes. Love the fact that it has a door and windows so the cats have an added escape route if necessary. In some of the review I read they said they had problems with the floor, but I had no such problem. The house is very sturdy and extremely cute. I am very happy with this purchase.

Got this for 2 kittens that were born under my deck for the winter. Putting this together was extremely simple and straightforward. Smelled great too. I bought a heated pad for the bottom for the kitties to be warmer in the winter. For anyone with a small dog and wants a good dog house, this is perfect. There are levelers and plastic caps on the bottom of the legs which also help it stay above any wetness that might cause the wood to decay if it was just on the ground. I also put styrofoam on the insides to keep the inside warmer for them and block the window.

I love this carrier. I wanted a lot of features in a carrier for my kittens and this one met all my needs without breaking the bank.

PROS

1. This carrier has a hard plastic bottom, which is a breeze to clean. The first day I brought my kitties home, I had a mess to clean up and was so glad I went with a hard bottom carrier over a soft carrier. All I had to do was remove the pad (bought separately) and wipe clean.

2. The top half is softer, almost fabric-like, but still holds the shape so it allows maximum standing room. There is plenty of ventilation as well.

3. It's cute! It may not be of upmost importance to everyone, but it was the clinching feature for me. :)

4. It has two openings: one steel opening in front (which I rarely use, but dogs will like it) and a mesh opening on top. The mesh is heavy duty and my kitties have tried clawing through it but with no luck. The top door makes it so easy to load the cats up for a trip to the vet.

5. Contrary to another review, I found it a cinch to put together. It has wing nuts that have to be tightened by hand-if you use tools, you risk over tightening and cracking the plastic. Yes, it does require some strength and my hands were a tad sore afterward, but it has held together really well! The slight inconveniences are not enough for me to take away a star.

6. It's affordable. I was appalled at how much carriers cost ($100+), so I was glad to find this one at a reasonable price.

7. Last but not least, I love the strap! While not the easiest thing to do, it can be shortened to be a hand strap, or lengthened to use as a shoulder strap.

CONS

1. As stated above, it can be tedious to hand tighten the wing nuts. Again, this was not enough of an issue for me to change my rating. I just sucked it up and did it. Maybe holding a cloth while tightening will make it more comfortable?

2. The strap is a little difficult to adjust. Once I decided where I liked it I just left it. But if you want to adjust it all the time, you may find it annoying.

Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this carrier! It met all my needs, was not too expensive, and it's cute! Can't ask for more!

The coat fit very nicely but the cap was smashed and wouldn't sit correctly on his head. Will have to figure out something to put over the Bark Lite and make a different costume for him. It was well-made.
