I was hesitant to try this because I had owned my robo for a year and she had never used one before but she loves it. She digs and rolls around in it. I leave it in her cage for a week and then clean it out. She doesn't use it for a bathroom and I don't think she would really appreciate it for only ten minutes.

She was really starting to look greasy before I got this but now she looks sooooooo soft. :)

The order came on time and in good condition. My 2 gerbils really enjoy taking dust baths in this stuff and they definately look soft and shiny when their done. They do occasionally knock some dust out of their "bath" but i put a tissue under it so all I have to do is pick that up and it doesn't leave dust in their cage.

I put it in a tupperware container and when my hamster gets greasy, I set him in it and drop a hand full on top of her. She will shake it off and be grease free and shiny!

This review is of Super Pet Critter Bath Powder, 14-oz. box. It's great stuff! Until recently we had used a chinchilla bath powder based on diatomaceous earth, and it worked, but this is better. The product is not perfumed and has no noticeable smell. It's based on pumice ("100 percent natural volcanic pumice," says the box) and is grainier but lighter. Our two gerbils both crowded into the little baking dish we use for bathing -behavior we had never noticed before -and climbed in and out repeatedly with LOTS of movement inside the dish. Eventually they got so comfortable they'd have gone to sleep inside the dish if we had let them! They got really clean and we have a new favorite product for their bathing. I think, though, we will not provide a daily bath with Super Pet Critter Bath Powder as the manufacturer suggests; they are used to once a week or so.

Pros: Good amount of dust, cheap, my hamster likes it.

Cons: Condition upon arrival was surprisingly bad: the box was old, worn, and torn at the edges.

I suggest buying from a different vendor, although the product itself is useful and I recommend it overall for cleaning small pets.
