It was described as a "large" dog toy and, I guess it is.

The Beagle has 2 other hedgehogs which are smaller.

It looks like it will hold up.

The Beagle tends to rip toys open after awhile.

Some in a day. Some in a week. Some take longer.

If you have a medium sized doggie and are looking for a crate because you live in an apartment, this particular model is a good choice. Crate training is amazingly simple (just don't use it for punishment--make it a happy experience when your puppy go into his crate). We have been using this for two months, and he takes to it easily.

1. Easy to put together and fold away. Solid black e-coat steel wire, conjoined with small metal plates with welded corners facing out. It comes with a slightly smaller divider that you can hook to the insides of the crate. As our puppy got bigger, we moved the divider and eventually removed it.

2. The two doors (one on the long end is off-centered) are not removable and opens only one way so it's not omni-directional when you place it in tight spaces. You may want to check out some crates with three doors if so.

3. The bottom tray is made of black-composite plastic material, easy to wipe clean and slide out from under the short end of the door.

4. I like the double latch, but some people may find it a little more work to open and close day-to-day.

5. If you buy a crate cover, check out Cratewear Pet Dreams 3-Piece (which fits this model well, but only work with the door on the short end).

6. For this price, it's a good crate to highly consider because your goal is to have a sanctuary for your puppy (for time out and quiet-time) and to housebreak your dog and/or temperate from negative behavior (such as chewing furniture, etc.)

I bought this crate for my 30-lb beagle/terrier mix dog and it's great. It folds up in a cinch (it's literally 3 steps and takes about 10 seconds max) and has carry handles on the side, so it's really easy to transport. I like having the 2 doors so I have options of how I can place the crate in a room. There are latches on the top and bottom of each door so it's very secure. Great crate!

We purchased this crate for our new 10-lb Labrador pup (who will eventually be 80+ lbs), and I couldn't be happpier with it. I only wish I had known about it 10 years ago when we got our German Shepherd pup, as we purchased multiple crates to accomodate her growing size. There is little to no set-up needed, as it literally just pops right up when you take it out of the box. The construction is very durable, with rounded edges. I thought the pan in the bottom would be cold for my dog, but it's made of some material that seems to always be warm. The adjustable divider that comes with it is very easy to move. My pup is very happy in his space!

The cage is easy to assemble and also conveniently folds down for easy carrying. However, the cage needs modifications if you have a large, energetic dog. My dog (lab mix ~50 lbs) was able to push the door out and bend it down in order to get out. I had to zip tie the sides together so that was not possible for him to do any more. Also, the cage comes with two handles that you can put wherever you like for carrying it. One of them broke one me because I was trying to put it on one of the wires that was too thick for it. So make sure you are careful when you are putting those on.

I purchased this crate from Petsmart for my newly adopted dog. They size these crates based on dog weight, but I would measure your dog to make sure they fit.

My dog is less than 45 lbs, but his head touches the top of this crate when he sits up. He has room to lay down, but he can't really stretch out. I am ordering the next size up from Amazon for him however, and will use this one as a travel crate.

It set up in less than a minute, and everything works very well on it. The crate seems very sturdy and I've had no problems at all.

I ordered this crate for my 13 year old Yorkie who is only 5 pounds. When I visit people and stay overnight, I need a secure place for her. I was immediately attracted to this crate because it looked soft and comfortable. Well, it is. I am so pleased that there are no rough or pointy edges, the entire crate is made out of soft material, and with all of the screened openings, it's light inside. Maggie loves it so much, I have left it up in my room, and she goes inside for naps during the day. It is easy to break-down and set up, light weight, great color, and very well made. The opening at the end of the crate ( as shown in the picture) has a zippered screen that can be rolled up, secured with velcro, and allows Maggie to go in and out without a problem. I would certainly purchase this again,

I purchased this gate to contain my athletic 6 month old lab. I use it at the top of the stairs. I slide one end under the coat closet door knob and fold the other two sides so that the other end slides along a rail. My home is a bi-level and the rail is at the top of the stairs. It keeps it in place. If the dog is especially active , I use a bungee cord to hold the rail side in place.

The gate is very well made,attractive,worth the expense. It is like a lovely piece of furniture. And it keeps the dog where he needs to be.

When I need to go to the lower level, I simply slide the gate and fold one side back. Works great for me.

I have a tiny 10lb puppy. She quickly removed the bottom pad and shredded it to pieces. That wasn't enough for the dog though, because she moved on to destroying the side insulation.

Ware Manufacturing states they make quality pet products. How could a quality product be so easily destroyed by one small puppy? This product is meant to be around and surround dogs. If such a tiny dog can do so much damage, this is not a product that has been built in a quality fashion.

Also I took my concerns to the owners of the company. Their answer was -too bad. They were unwilling to stand by their product and replace the one I had bought.

We bought this for a dog house that we use for the neighbor hood feral cats. We also have a heated pad that we put in there also and also bought the door for the front of the house. It seems to be doing what it's made to do.

We had the PetMate Vari Kennel for our Golden Retriever Mix Puppy who is approximately 20 pounds but growing very rapidly. His current Kennel was just too small.

We ordered this since the description says 30-70 lbs. The product itself looks great its just larger I anticipated. The box actually says ideal weight 50-70 lbs. But I still think it's perfect since he has doubled his weight and size in the past month.

The color looks great in our home and I think that this will last him a good long while.

The product is good construction (plastic) and is put together with those screws and fasteners. Extras are included which is definitely handy.

The price here was very competitive, couldn't beat it at my local pet store.

My only complaint is that there is no handle what would have been handy. Will update again after a couple of nights of use.

This was shipped to me in the UK from USA. The shipping fee on the site wasn't enough to cover shipping to the UK and the seller emailed me through Amazon the same day to tell me this and asked if I wanted to pay the extra shipping $25 or cancel the order. I received it within a week. I ordered the large size one, which my labrador is quite happy in or on, whichever mood takes her!

Bought these for potty training my German Shepherd. LOVE THEM. Very stylish, and the different levels of bells on the ribbon allowed him as a 7 week old puppy to reach the bells. Now that he's 7 months and much taller, he noses the top bells. The bells are loud enough to be heard from another room.. I can even hear them when I'm upstairs and he's down! Some might say they are annoying, but I love them not just for bell training.. It's nice to hear people coming and going from the home!

While this is an insanely high price for a strip of ribbon connected to a keychain with bells on it, I put it up and after showing it to my dog twice, he began to understand. I received it on friday, showed him it friday and Saturday, by Saturday night he was ringing it and its now Monday we have had no accidents since Saturday morning. I have a 15 week old Italian Greyhound, a breed notoriously hard to potty train. He took to it great. I do wish there were cheaper alternatives.

These boots keep my dog's feet from freezing due to salt on the sidewalks. The velcro straps keep them securely on her feet. I can see how they might wear out if the dog is constantly walking on concrete, but I bought them mostly for snow.

The shoes are of excellent quality. With a zipper and velcro straps, the dogs can't get them off. The rubber sole makes it all-weather. HOWEVER, the design of the boot is poorly thought out. A dog cannot lay his paw flat when in this shoe. If your dog is not putting weight on his foot when you are putting on this shoe, it is impossible to put on properly. They may work if your dog is very comfortable with having his/her feet handled, but even then it is a gamble.

So, they have a zipper and these velcro straps you wind up the dogs boot once you have it on...except they slide down CONSTANTLY and it takes forever (a lot fo sweating and cursing and dog chasing) to get them on, just for them to slide down.

Before I even put them on my dog's feet , the zippers were very hard to open two of the zipper pulls came off. But otherwise they are fine. A little hard to keep the leg hair out of the zipper but the neoprene tongue helps.

While there is no stuffing for my dog to rip out (which he absolutely will do if he can), he still rips the squeakers out and then proceeds to rip off any parts that stick out (ears, arms and legs). I picked this up at a store over a year ago and our midsized dog (35 lbs.) immediately played with it and it has been her favorite toy since. Finally, after lots of tug of war, indoor fetch, and chewing this on her own, it has a slight rip along the seam, near one of the squeakers. I'd say we got our money's worth and then some. She is adept at ripping stuffed toys, so we really appreciate the stuffless design and durability. Highly recommended.

I'm always on the lookout for grain-free treats for our dogs. Couldn't find these in stores, so ordered online. They are perfect. The 'consumer' in me would have liked them to be a bit bigger since I have larger dogs, but I am happy with them. Took the package to our local pet store and now they order them. I know, I know, cheaper to buy online, but our dogs like going to the pet stores and checking out what they are getting. That to me is worth the extra dollar that I pay in store. :)
