Cheap Pet Gear The Other Door Steel Crate with Fleece Pad for Cats

Pet Gear The Other Door Steel Crate with Fleece Pad for Cats and Dogs Up to 70-Pounds, Chocolate

I like this crate. It's got lots of bells and whistles. The matching bed, foldability, wheels, a handle, and a bag if you want to use it. The reasons why it doesn't get 5 stars: The garage door is sometimes a bit finicky. Not too bad, but can take more than one try to open or close. Note that the crate does not have as much stability with the "garage door" open. The crate is very stable when all doors are closed. The hubby has put the crate in the cargo area so that I can only use the garage doors, so I cannot speak as to the other doors at this time. The crate does rattle when you are driving, but a completely wire crate will rattle much more, I am sure.

That said, I've been using it for my rambunctious Samoyed puppy for 2 months (10 months old to 1 year old now) and it serves it purpose bringing him to grooming, classes, shows and vet visits. And, to make the hubby happy, the color matches the interior of the vehicle, so it was woth it getting a color that makes him happy. All in all, pleased with the item.

Sorry guys, this was advertized as 2 inches wide, maybe 1.3 at most. to thin for a 40lb cocker. Go Dolphins though.

This dog collar was very nice. I do wish it had been a little wider since the dog it was going on is rather large. However, on the website it did tell the width of the collar, so I guess that's my fault. It's hard to find a Miami Dolphins dog collar in Virginia so I was just glad to find this one for my son's dog.

I've noticed our dogs hanging out in their igloo more now that we have the door. It keeps the wind out and it keeps it a lot warmer in there. The product was exactly as displayed. Can't complain, works great. And easy install too!

The shape of this door seems wrong at first, but it is designed to curve out to let the rain run off the corners, and out of the house. I was skeptical but it works like a charm. I checked the interior of the house after a storm and it was nice and dry.

Just received this item in the mail. It appears to be a very cheaply made piece of clear plastic / vinyl that is made in China. Definitely not worth the price of about $25. Probably cost 25 cents to make it.

Honest reviews on Petmate Indigo Dog House Door

I didn't like the Petmate Indigo Dog House Door. It seems like a waste of money, very flimsy, and hard to attach to the Dog House which i do love, the DogLoo doesn't take up too much space on my patio and both my beagles can fit in it, but this door is something they just don't need.

I want to put this on the doghouse to block wind during the winter, but it is not removable. I think it would make the doghouse too warm in the summer. I gave the dog extra insulation to help keep her warm, and a heating pad. I also tried to angle the house so that the wind doesn't blow straight inside. Really wish this could be taken off and put back on without permanent damage.

This thing leaked when rain puddled up on the bottom ledge. We caulked the snot out of the thing -it's certainly not pretty now, if it ever wasand I think that's stopped the leak, but the door still lets in cold air even when the magnet strip is engaged. We live in the Pacific Northwest, so it's not like we're experiencing severe storms or cold, but if I were doing this over again I'd pay more for an extreme weather door.

Have tried other glucosamine tablets, but this one also has MSM, Vitamin C, and fatty acid esters which make a big difference. Simpler products with only glucosamine don't work as well. My dog also likes the taste of this medicinal treat and it doesn't upset her stomach.

I'm not kidding either. My dog has ACL tears. After considering her age and health, I knew surgery wasn't the best option for my old girl. Someone recommended these because they have MSM and other needed joint ingredients. I can tell a difference in a few days if she doesn't have these. I don't let her go without them anymore.

We have had this kennel canopy for the past few months, it was easy to set up, will need two people to set on though. We had tornadoes in our area recently and definite 70mph straight line winds at our home. We had several trees that had large limbs break from them and neighbors on both sides of us that trees break off at the trunk. The canopy survived this without any problem. Provides a wonderful shade. My husband was the one that said I need to give a good review of this due to it surviving that storm completely intact.

I have a 30 x 10ft kennel in my backyard for my great danes to safely hang out in during nice weather while I am away. I just wanted a portion of their kennel (which is already enclosed on two sides) to also have a roof for shade and shelter from rain. Having great danes, a regular flat roof or poorly made roof could easily be torn apart as my dogs can reach anything they want at the top of the 6ft tall kennel panels. So far they haven't been able to do anything to this roof and we are happy! Great price too.

After a huge disappointment using Pedipaws, I decided to try this to see if really works good for large dogs like some of the reviews said. Boy, I wish I knew about this earlier! I thought they'll get scared of the sound like dentist, but they aren't as scared as I thought they'll get. Actually they are not scared but generally disliking the nail cutting/filing. It doesn't seem like it bothers them much while I use this, unlike the nail clipper. Only thing you'll have to be careful is that you'll have to avoid the file to touch the paw pads as it tends to get hot to touch. You can adjust the speed by just turning a knob, and changing the file is just slide in and out. I found it sometimes difficult to replace the file, though, as it fits very tight. It comes with a long power cord so you can chase your dog to use it, but it would be a lot easier if it's rechargeable cordless. For this price, I don't have complain, and actually I use it for other DIY projects around the house. Great stuff!

I have had two of these. I really liked the way it feels in my hand, and the fact that it is electric. It is much nicer than the Oster electric nail grinder, and I think it is a little bit more quiet. I bought this because the Dremel cordless only lasts me through maybe 3 dogs at my salon before I have to switch out and recharge, and sometimes only lasts me through one nail grind on a large breed, for ex a Mastiff-VERY inconvenient and inefficient, a problem that was solved by using an electric grinder. Unfortunately, the Master Grooming Tools nail grinder has a faulty resistor. My first one I had for a little under a year before it started getting sluggish and turning off at random. A week after the symptoms, it died. I didn't save the receipt, stupidly, because there is a one yr warranty (Which doesn't cover "normal wear and tear" btw, and they would have classified my problem under that according to the service rep I spoke to after the fact). Well, I bought a second one in January, and the first week of March I took it out to use and it just didn't turn onno signs of dying this time. I called the company I ordered it from to ask if I could just exchange this for the cordless Dremel, and they were nice enough to do so. Refunded me my money, told me to keep it (instead of sending it back and having to pay shipping on that) and then sent me the Dremel, free of service charge. (Kudos Petedge for great customer service!)While I still prefer this electric grinder over the cordless Dremel, I can't be out a tool for a week or two at a time. My handyman took my two broken Master Grooming Tools apart and the resistor was completely fryed (oddly, on my new one) and dislodged on my older one. Good thing that came out of thishe just reconnected the resistor on my older one and it works againfor how long, we shall see.

In Electrical Engineering, they teach you about different motor configurations which optimize on different aspects. This particular nail grinder has a motor optimized for high speed, rather than torque, the significance of this being that a lower spin speed is less distressing for the dog. You can also push a higher torque motor a little harder against the nails without it slowing down lots, rather than really having to crank the speed up and just tap it gently many, many times (if you just hold it against the nail, the friction will heat up the nail and be uncomfortable for the dog). The advantage of a low-torque motor is that if hair does get caught in the motor, it stops without pulling hard on the fur.

So, the good:

1) The cord means it never runs out of batteries mid-trim, and over longer periods of time doesn't result in batteries slowly dying. The cord is actually long enough too.

2) The dremel bits are awesome, no complaints there. I have never used the polisher and doubt I ever will.

3) The control is quite good, and it has a clip as well as an independent power control (so you can set the RPM once, then leave it there and just use the power switch).

The bad:

1) The spin setting seems utterly useless below 2/3 max power because the motor torque is so low. I typically use it on 80% max power.

2) It spins up to high speed, but that distresses the dog greatly as the higher pitch annoys her. The speed control does not seem to be linear either; the jump in RPM from 80% to 90% is higher than 40% to 50%, which can make it difficult to get the sweet spot for the dog's comfort and ease of use.

3) The motor is too low torque to work well at low speeds; I previously had a battery only model that operated at a lower spin with higher torque and that was a lot more usable.

Given it is what I have right now, I'll use it until it breaks, but I'm not sure I would buy it again. Best tip for using it? Set it on 80%, and tap the nail gently and repeatedly.

Honest reviews on Master Grooming Tools Pet Nail Grinder Kit, Blue

I am a mobile groomer and my cordless one kept loosing its charge since I have to turn off and on the power of the van as I work. I finally gave in and got this grinder and WOW! I was afraid I'd grind off the dogs foot it was so powerful! However, it really only works at the highest speed. Any lower and the motor just stops as soon as it hits the nail, even on smaller dogs. The highest speed however grinds the nails down quick and fast, even the big guys like Danes and Mastiffs.

Our small dog HATES getting his nails clipped or even touched. We didn't like spending money every month for having his nails barely clipped or getting his quicks cut. We have had this product a few months now and so far, so good. I like the quality of this machine. The speed dial and all the different heads are nice. I liked that it is not cordless so I don't have to worry about it dying on me. I don't think it's too loud. My dog seems too tolerate it too. His nails are one hundred times better.

I highly recommend this product and I to believe that the same quality and durability is also in the

The leash belt is too soft. When the belt is out the softness lets the belt fold in half. When rewinding the thicknes of the folded belt jams the rewind system. Otherwise the product is good.

The dog was able to chew threw this pretty easily. They should put more protection on the end of the leash. Puppies chew and you can't always watch them every single second. However, before he chewed threw it, it worked great.

I have been using this for my 11 1/2 year old Great Dane for a year and a half. I am a dog trainer and former veterinary nurse/technician. I did not want to use Proin or PPA for her urinary incontinence because it has been proven to cause strokes in people and thus was discontinued for human use. She had urinary incontinence on and off for years, and she is a VERY old Great Dane. Leaks No More has worked beautifully for the last 1.5 years and has caused no side effects. Every dog is different, but for mine and others I know, it has worked quite well. Please research reviews for this product online and you'll find an overwhelming endorsement for the it. I have found it to be an incredible alternative to a dangerous traditional medication. Good luck to all using it!

My 85 lb 4 year old GSD was leaking all over the house making us very frustrated. We made a plastic lined cover for his bed and all the poor dog heard was "get on your bed." This started a year ago and the vet put him on antibiotics a few times and things would improve for a short time and then come back. Next the vet put him on Proin (PPA) which made him anxious and edgy. It also only improved things about 75% and only for about two weeks and then the leaking came back. We called the vet again who increased the dose. Worked for about a week at 75% and then we were back to the same amount of leaking. Honestly, if the Proin had just worked I never would have moved onto anything else. At that stage (out of desperation) I looked on the web for all possible solutions. One of the products I tried was leaks no more. That was maybe minimally helpful, but didn't change things enough to make any real difference.

As to the next section I am not a vet and this is not medical advice. This is just a description of what I've found.

First let me tell you the one thing I found that has made a major difference apple cider vinegar. One tablespoon per 50 pounds a dog a day was the recommended dose from one site I read. Now most dogs are not going to take ACV straight, needless to say. I give it to him this way twice a day I put a tablespoon of ACV in about a cup of water, mix some chicken broth or canned food in it and pour it over his food like gravy. He slurps it all down without a problem. Some people put it in their dogs water dish and even at lower doses they have had success. My dog wasn't drinking enough for that to make any difference.

Now our GSD's leaking problems have improved 90-95%. He still leaks right after peeing, but we make sure he's finished all that before he comes in the house. His leaking while just sitting, standing, or laying on his bed awake has stopped and when he wakes up in the morning there is a small damp spot on his washable cover, but nothing like it used to be. While he was on Proin we started this. Within a few days I saw improvement, within two weeks he was off the Proin totally. Really it seemed the Proin wasn't doing anything for him at all! We're using organic Braggs from raw apple cider, mostly because I think the taste is more palatable than the processed stuff from the store and it's supposedly has better healing properties. Honestly though, because I didn't have much faith when I started this, I just tried the cheap stuff from the grocery store and saw improvement pretty quickly.

In a lot of ways it makes sense because it's very similar to women who have regular urinary tract infections being told to drink cranberry juice to raise the acidity levels of their urine to fight bacteria. Another recommendation I found on the web was cranberry caps from the health food store. I didn't try that but I assume the reasoning is similar to the ACV.

I also tried corn silk, which was a common recommendation. I bought a pound of the stuff from amazon to try it. I mixed it in with canned food and our dog ate it pretty well, but it didn't really improve anything. Maybe someone else would have success with that. Also be aware that some dogs are allergic to corn so check that before you give them any.

Since people have had good success with leaks no more I tried to see if that would push him to 100%. Again maybe minor help. Since LNM is expensive and the main ingredient is Plantago Major I decided to go to our local herb store and pick up powdered plantago major (it's dirt cheap and you can get it from Amazon too) and make my own tincture. (powder mixed with either vodka or apple cider vinegar which is shaken daily for two weeks and then strained. you can see how to make tinctures on youtube there are several videos) This is much stronger than LNM as LNM is homeopathic and has very minimal amounts of actual ingredients in it. I put a few drops a couple of times a day in a small amount of broth and our dog drinks it and licks the plate. Some improvement not 100%.

Search the web for other alternatives if you want. Corn silk and apple cider vinegar seem to be the most often recommended.

One more thing. When I took urine samples into the vet they were dark brown (making the staining on the carpet worse aargh) I asked the vet about it, but he said it didn't mean anything. Actually it does. It meant that our dog was not drinking much water and was running dehydrated. I realized he was hardly drinking any water from his bowl. His urine was very concentrated. It also meant that he wasn't clearing out his urinary tract often enough and became more prone to infections. Adding liquid to his meals and taking him out more often has helped that quite a bit. He's actually gotten used to drinking more water on his own now, and his urine is a much lighter color. It was just another piece to the puzzle.

I can't guarantee my solutions will help anyone else. Also I know that because our dog is larger I have more leeway on adjusting quantities of vinegar and plantago major than someone with a smaller dog might have. Overdosing your dog on ACV can make your dog's urine too acidic. Finally our vet's position is simple just increase the Proin until all problems are solved. However Proin seems like a dangerous drug to me and just increasing the dose higher and higher makes me very uncomfortable. Did you know that Proin is the old diet drug dexatrim that was pulled from the market because it gave people strokes? Our vet says there are no problems with dogs taking it. Frankly I don't buy it.

I have two female Leonbergers--one was born with a small urinary leakage; the other is nearly 10 and began to have a problem after her spay. Instead of using the PPA drug which has side effects, I tried them both on Leaks No More and was astonished how well it works. The young one no longer has any leakage while the older one has very tiny amounts. I never miss a dose because it makes their lives so much better and they smell great--no more urine smell. I highly recommend this if your dog has any leakage. It's all natural so no side effects which is my main concern.

My poor 12 year old Shepard Mix was having accidents when she was sleeping. At first it was just once in a while but continued to get worse to all the time and multiple times a day. I don't know who felt worse, her for having an "accident" or me having to wash bedding every day. Her vet wanted to put her on a prescription. I did some research and found that so many dogs had had terrible side effects from the drug. I would hate the thought of curing one problem only to have something life threating occur. I did some looking and found "Leaks No More" and thought I would try it first. It did take about a week or more before I saw much of a difference but over time we saw fewer accidents. After the first month we were having no more "accidents". It has been about 12 weeks now and still no accidents. We use the drops just once a day now. If you need an easy way to give the drops to your dog get the capsule size Greenies Pill Pockets put the drops in and seal shut. If you have a small dog you can get the smaller pockets.

After moving to the country, my 3 year old dog, Bamm Bamm kept me up scratching all night, he was 4 days behind on his flea and tick treatments so the next day, my mother in law and I took Bamm Bamm to the groomers, and purchased Sentry pro for my 25lb shih tzu. We went with the smaller dosage just to be safe. I noticed immediately, the packaging did not give active ingredients or warnings besides one that said may startle your dog upon contact. I found a flea on him on the way home, so immediately put it on him. I realized immediately that the amount of liquid was double with amount we had previously used. Bamm began to get more irritated and acted as if he were being bitten. That night he got worse, couldn't lay down, or get comfortable. The next morning he was soaked from licking all night. He began to growl and whine at the irritations. Again, we thought he was being but by fleas. This lasted all day, and at night he cried and cried all night. The next day Bamm wouldn't move around, he was exhausted, depressed, and had developed a severe muscle spasm/twitch all over his back. I spent hours searching through bamms mostly white belly and legs, looking for any signs of bites, bugs, or rash, when i got to the area on his shoulders where the medication had been applied is when we realized..this wasn't fleas, or chiggers, or a rash...this was a reaction. he was really hot around that area. I researched and found out, sentry pro along with many others are under investigations for their formula, because of lack of testing. The active ingredients may be linked to multiple-sclerosis in humans, and in about 25% of small breed dogs (shih tzus included) was reported a reaction. 1/4 dogs could have a reaction?!?! Those are TERRIBLE odds. Would you take a perscription if there was a 1/4 chance you'd have a stroke?! Anyways, so I spoke to a vet, and "lucky for Bamm" his symptoms were mild (glad I only gave him 0-22lb treatment even though he needed the high dosage)

I was instructed on how to remove medication and how to save my dog from neurolical damage. (instructions below)

1.) get that junk off him ASAP

Ivory dish soap (kills any bugs on dogs almost immediately) Dawn works also, any dish soap that gets tough grease off.

Rinse, lather and after whole dog is lathered completely gently rub general area medication was applied 2-4 minutes. Rinse and do the same cycle 3 times (dog will get very cold most of the time with these reactions, do your best to keep them warm but don't get water too hot)

2.) shampoo with oatmeal shampoo very important because the previous soap just took out lots of moisture from dogs skin.

3.) oatmeal conditioner (I know it sounds crazy...but your dogs skin really needs it after what they have gone through.

4.) dry them as usual. I just let Bamm go outside he felt better immediately and ran outside like a crazy man. If you use a hair drier, use cool and don't fully dry them (again skin moisture is necessary)

5.) if the symptoms get worse or you see no improvement go to the vet ASAP. Bamm continued to have some muscle spasms for about 5 days in the location the medication went. I was instructed to give him baby Benadryl or children's benadryl only. (NO ADULT). 3mL 2 times a day for 1 week. I gave Bamm his in the morning and before bed time. If the spasms didn't stop within one week, I was instructed to go to my vet.

6.) Call and report your problem. They do pay for vet bills but you must report a problem.

I hope this helps. I couldn't imagine life without my Bamm Bamm. It's very sad that a company like this who is supposed to care and protect our animals has lost sight and just wants to make money as fast as they can without testing their products. Shame on Heartz (they own sentry)

I purchased Sentry pro Flea & Tick squeeze on to my 3yrold beagle mix. After about 3 hours of applying this medication, i noticed her running around shaking her head back and forth like she had something in her ears and foaming at the mouth. I then gave her about 4 good baths with dawn dish soap and scrubbed. She was still having seizures every hour on the dot. I called the emergency hotline on the box and spoke with a lady, she told me that it was not a seizure my dog was having. And to give her a bath with dawn, give her 1/2 tuna juice and 1/2 water, and apply vit.E oil to her skin where i applied this medication. After 10min of my dog drinking the tuna water her seizures started every 15minutes last about 40sec. The next morning i took her to the vet and she was poisoned by this pesticide found in all OTC flea medicines. She was on IV for 2 days straight and had to have valium every 4 hours to calm her, along with atropine and tranquilizers to relax her neuro. system. After 2 days of IV fluids and medicine and not to mention a vet bill. I do not recommend this product to anyone or to anyone who is using this product to please stop. If you're dog even scratches this product and then licks his feet or is just has sensitive skin. DO NOT USE. This is very toxic to dogs and is not listed on the box of what all this can do to you pet. Sergeants Brand will be hearing from me and i do plan on having them pay my vet bill.

Seems to work on my 13 pound weiner dog. It does appear to take a few days before it kicks in. But overall, I think it's effective and not too pricey when it's on sale. The smell lingers but eventually it goes away. No issues with dog being lethargic or having any allergic reaction. Overall, good product.
