I ordered both the beef and Turkey flavors. My dogs would not even take these in their mouths. Both flavors were very dry and had no real aroma to them. Try a small quantity first. i donated the entire order to the Humane Society.

Discount Organic Salmon Jerky Dog Treat (1 lb-Jar)
This is not jerky, this is processed, hard like a rock, very greasy and stale smelling stripe of something that you can't break into anything smaller than 2 inches long and that certainly is not the size of a training treat! The dogs45lb dogs that will eat anythingwere not impressed, it was hard to chew, and it sounded like they were crunching rocks, most of them spat it out after a few chews, left it there, this would be the first time they would not eat something in their entire lives, these dogs will work for lettuce. Where is a zero star button?

My first dog who died a little over a year ago loved this piggy so I had kept it. We recectly (4 months) ago got another dog and he also loves it. I had been searching for a new one in stores and couldn't find it, so I replaced the batteries for more than the cost of the toy. Thank you Amazon.com and google. Old piggy and new piggy are played with everyday.
Jake says thank you and I thank you for the great quality.
Bought another multipet talking toy for my sister's dog, a terrier. The dog went at it with a terrific "crunch." Then was interested because it was a crunchy toy, the crunching being the plastic, batteries, etc. (We took them away rapidly.)
I agree that someone who makes toys for dogs should include anything that could be dangerous in a casing that is impervious to chewing.

If your pet has EVER torn open any toy, do NOT buy this because it's got several small parts (batteries, broken plastic) that a dog can ingest and cause serious problemsBest Deals for Multipet Look Who's Talking Pig Dog Toy
I am here buying a replacement. Our pig toy lasted for two years of play, including gentle tug. But this is because I taught my dog not to disembowel his toys (he still can't resist if there is stuffing sticking out of a hole). As others have noted, inside this stuffed animal is a plastic box containing the sound mechanism, which also includes batteries.Bought another multipet talking toy for my sister's dog, a terrier. The noise box inside the toy is thin cheap plastic and breaks within minutes. This must be why Petco stopped carrying this brand.Tuesday, August 19, 2014

The collar was quickly shipped and we received it in perfect condition. The collar is exactly as advertised and the colors are true Redskins colors. It looks great on my fluffy Redskins fan! We just bought this and set it up in our dog house. Very sturdy construction and easy to install. We have a 9 month old Australian Shepherd who chews up everything, so a pet heating pad was out of the question. Also, those are flimsy and not worth the $. We live in a snow belt and have very high winds. We have the setting on the heater right now on medium, and the dog's house is comfortable. We did insulate the dog house since this is one of the things they recommend for the heater to work properly. I would recommend this and am very pleased.

The first hound heater furnace that I bought would not regulate properly. I called the company directly, had a response within 12 hours, and a new heater at my door 2 days later. Great service and a great product. It is currently 10 degrees outside in St. Louis but according to my wireless thermometer...it is a toasty 72 degrees in the dog house!Best Deals for Hound Heater Pet House Furnace/Heater
The heater looks nice and looks sturdy. The unit itself gets hot but it only seems to radiate heat around it and does not heat a small space. I used it in a dog house that is a little larger than a regular dog house but it was insulated and should have kept the room warm. It does not. I could have bought a much better heater for half the price that is designed to keep a whole room warm which I had to do anyway. That is what I now have and it works so much better than this one. It was a very expensive mistake. I paid the high price of $100 because it was advertised as being especially for dog houses. The company was nice about the return and providing the information required to return it but I was charged $15 for returning it to the company (charged for the stated FREE shipping I received when I bought it and for the company's Amazon fee) and I had to pay another $20 to ship it (they required signature and insurance). I also had to buy the other heater. So I am out $35 for a product I could not use. Extremely disappointed. I will think twice before buying any more major purchases from Amazon or other companies.Honest reviews on Hound Heater Pet House Furnace/Heater
This worked great. We put a wire mesh in front of it, just so the dog could not get to it at all, and put it in the far end of the dog house. Now, on cold mornings, he doesn't want to come out!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Hound Heater Pet House Furnace/Heater
We built a nice kitty condo to keep our outdoor cats safe and warm this winter. Unfortunately the weather got colder than we expected so we purchased the "hound heater." The cats are just thrilled. They even stayed inside most of the day when it was raining.Monday, July 7, 2014

My dog absolutely loves these and he is such a picky eater. I probably tried almost 6 different dog treats but I had to give them away to friends because he wouldn't touch them. End Table Dog Crate in Burnished Oak Reviews
I was looking forward to this product, it has a nice, clean look that I knew would be perfect for my living room. The box arrived unblemished, so I opened it up. The wood is incredibly flimsy, and cracks / splits easily. There are pieces of wood affixed with small brads that started out loose and came apart almost immediately during assembly. I ended up needing to buy another bunch of screws just to get it together, and still find it very sub-par.

I purchased this item even after reading the (only) bad review on it. I have had it for almost a year and I am very happy with it. I did break one of the slats by being too forceful when assembling, however, a little glue worked fine and I have nevr noticed the problem. Don't know if I could even find it if I tried. My dog has scratched at it pretty heavily on the inside and it stands up well. Overall, it is really nice looking and I have been happy with the quality. For the cash, you can't beat it. Blends well as furniture, and functions beautifully.Best Deals for End Table Dog Crate in Burnished Oak

There are other crates (just like this) out there for half the price. Look around. The quality from this company is crap and the assembly a nightmare because the quality is crap. I'm mad that I paid so much money for a subpar crate. Not sure how they justify the price. I've had it for over a year now...the wood has begun to split and the varnish is cracking. You can do better...right here on Amazon. Don't get this crate.Wednesday, May 7, 2014
Best Yet Quart Spray Bottle (by CedarSide) Review
Before I mention about the spray, I had to mention the condition of the place where this spray was used. The place was infected by bed bug very extensively. I cannot even sleep through a night without getting bitten by min 5 bed bugs. I tried all possible sprays that I bought from near by stores and nothing worked to contain the bed bugs. I searched over the internet to find a suitable bed bug spray and finally I had narrowed down to two bed bug spray, this one and Bug patrol. I went with this, as it said that its not harmful to the skin and never leaves a stain (and so far I never noticed a stain on the carpet/wall or any problem with my skin).
I bought this last week and had it sprayed all over the apartment floor corners and edges. At first I had hard time in coping with the smell because of the cedar oil and also the silica content produced a very strong odor, although its not unbearable but some may find little discomfort (or may be I sprayed too much).I had difficulty in getting through the first day when I sprayed but I had to say its worth the effort. As of now I never had any bite or didn't even find a trace of a bed bug. I can sleep very peacefully without getting bitten by those little vampires. I'm not sure whether it provides a long time protection but some website says so.
Con: The con is not about the spray, but its about the spray bottle that came with it. Its appears to be little flimsy and the spray trigger broke immediately when I started using it. So, take care when using it. I used it by transferring the liquid content to another empty spray bottle which I bought it for less that 1.5 dollars.
UPDATE: I originally wrote this review in Oct. of 2011, and 7 months later (April 2012) I am still bedbug free! I spray about once a month now because I notice it kills and keeps away many types of bugs.
This product was recommended to me by a dear friend who lives in heavily brushy area with abundant wildlife. I'm so impressed with the results.
A few notes... ***Read the instructions*** You need to reapply daily if your dealing with hot spot and infestations. This isn't a one time application, you need to keep reapplying. Be prepared for an intense blast of cedar aroma. It set off my fire alarms! Ha! So now I spray my dogs on my deck. I got a whole new batch of fleas off them this morning already and haven't seen them itch. So keep up and apply often to get control of the flea problem. I personally love the smell of cedar.
I read a review with regards to someones cat getting sick. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. There is a whole write up on how to treat your cat that best yet has printed for you. Don't drench them in cedarcide! Goes to show the majority of these bad reviews were listed by folks who failed to follow instruction.
Came across this natural product and it really does work GREAT!!! I use it on my dog after our training sessions, and I've watched ticks literally "BAIL" out of my dog's coat and die.
However...for best results you need to spray it on and work it into your dog's coat down to the skin.
Also, I can only speak of the product which I've purchased directly from the manufacturer. I just logged on here to see if I could get it any cheaper...and a number of people have mentioned that what they've purchased via Amazon has been DILUTED!
That's good enough for me... I'll spend a few more bucks and purchase directly from cedarcide.com in Texas! This stuff isn't cheap, but it's worth it. I'm sure not paying for diluted product!!!

I had never even heard of bed bugs until I moved to a new apartment infested with them. For weeks I had no idea what was biting me all over until I finally discovered those evil suckers. Immediately I researched how to kill them, and was completely overwhelmed by how impossible it seemed!! I couldn't afford a professional, or an expensive steamer to kill them, so my choices were sprays or powders. I chose Best Yet after reading the reviews. I started by cleaning all my bedding, encasing my mattress in a bedbug resistant cover, sweeping and washing my floors and cleaning/organizing my entire space. Then I sprayed the Best Yet all over my entire bed frame and mattress and all around the perimeter of my room. The bottle says residue free but if it is sprayed on fabrics, it stains. You can also see a slick shiny residue on wooden floors for quite a few hours until it dries. The smell is strong, but not unpleasant; it just smells strongly of cedar. I sprayed the same areas down every night before I went to sleep for 3 weeks straight. After a few days, every bug I found was either dead or dying and the number of bites I had was greatly reduced. After a week I was bite free and have remained so ever since. After 3 weeks, I cut down to spraying every other night, and only around my room. I'm sure the rest of my building is infested as well, so I will continue to spray every few days just to ensure my space stays bug free. I really like that this product is all natural and completely safe. Also, I like that it actually kills the bugs and their eggs rather than just detouring them to another part of the building. It IS possible to be completely bedbug free!!!! And the price of this product is very affordable! Good luck to everyone battling the bugs!!UPDATE: I originally wrote this review in Oct. of 2011, and 7 months later (April 2012) I am still bedbug free! I spray about once a month now because I notice it kills and keeps away many types of bugs.

(this is a review on the product I got from Amazon) I purchased a Best Yet Quart Spray bottle from an amazon seller after purchasing it previously right from the cedarcide website. The stuff I received was obviously DILUTED. It did not smell strongly of cedar like my purchase from cedarcide and I'm not going to be buying this from anywhere but cedarcide.com from now on, especially since it IS NOT cheap. Take my advice and pay the extra 2 bucks and get this stuff right from the source because when it's REALLY the best yet spray, without any water (etc.) added to it, it works fantastic and smells amazing.Honest reviews on Best Yet Quart Spray Bottle (by CedarSide)
I'm surprised to see how many bad reviews are listed under this product. I just used this spray last night on my whippets (dogs) and literally watched the fleas crawl out of their fur and die. AMAZING. This past flea season was ruff! Frontline, Advantage and flea shampoos were not working. I fear the fleas have build immunity to the brands listed. At one point I triple dosed them with Advantage and it was ineffective. This product was recommended to me by a dear friend who lives in heavily brushy area with abundant wildlife. I bought this item based on other dog toys I have purchased from Orbee. My 3-year-old lab mix dropped his tennis ball to play with this immediately. Within two hours, he had torn the strawberry to pieces, without any treats inside. The other dog toys from Orbee have withstood his chewing, but he tore the bottom off this one. It's a shame, because it was really cute. It also had an irregular bounce which would have kept him occupied and a little off-balance.Overall I like Orbee's product line but this item didn't do very well with my dog. Back to tennis balls! This is our Golden Retriever's favorite pool toy. She fetches it non stop, and then will hang out by the steps in the shallow end and squeezes the berry so that water shoots out both sides. She slaps it underwater with her paws and it sinks a bit since it is hollow, but will pop back up to the surface if she lets it. The green "stem" quickly falls off, but she doesn't care. I just purchased a third one. The original berry is just now starting to degrade after three summer's worths of fun.Honest reviews on Planet Dog Orbee-Tuff with Treat Spot
I'm conflicted on how I feel about this. The dogs LOVED it, and it's really cute, but within a day, it was ruined. They chewed off the green leaves on top within a few hours, but before that, they were carrying it around, chewing it, bouncing it. It'd be great for a dog who isn't as into chewing as my dogs are. Even though they ruined this, I'm thinking of buying another orbee ball. It might be the scent or flavor that made the dogs love it more than most similar toys. Still, I want something without a hole because they got their teeth in too easily and broke it.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Planet Dog Orbee-Tuff with Treat Spot
We were given this as a gift for our 3-yr old shepherd mix and she loves it. We fill it with rice which keeps her busy for about 20 minutes while she gets every last piece out. She loves picking it up and dropping it against the ground or a table to get things to pop out. Definitely prefers this over her kong I think maybe the material feels better in her mouth, and much less dog hair sticks to it. She now brings it to us and drops it at our feet when she wants a snack.Saturday, April 12, 2014

This was purchased in addition to thicker, fluffier dog beds for our XL dog and it is the perfect size, not too big, and most importantlynot too small. This bed is perfect for car-rides, hardwood floors, crate padding, deck lounging and other "light" lounging activities for the pooch. The bed is also durable, hides dirt, the fur washes off entirely, and despite the instructions, I have machine dried the bed on a low heat setting and it came out just fine. The color of the bed I received is different from the one pictured, the light side is actually a tan colorlike coffee with cream. Either a sage or a tan color works with our decor, so I wasn't at all disappointed with the difference.

The one I received actually has a Velcro-secured pocket right in the center. I'm not really sure what the purpose if this is, but thought I'd mention it since it's not in the picture. I can imagine a more destructive dog than mine tearing it apart. It's got a soft micro-suede top and a water-resistant bottom, which is useful for a kennel with a pup who's still not quite trained yet. One problem I had was that after washing it, the material on top pilled horribly and the filling clumped up so that it no longer lays flat no matter what I do. It's still fine, since it's being used for a dog (he's not picky), but if you're looking for something that washes well, this isn't it.Honest reviews on New Age Pet Cozy Pet House Pad, Xtra Large

After trying 3 different gates (that all had high ratings on Amazon), this is my favorite. I turned my home into my own version of a baby gate showroom to figure out which one I wanted, so here's my take on three different gates.
I think they are all pretty good gates, it just depends on your situation and what features you're looking for. The key features that ended up making a difference to me were 1) the width of the gate opening and 2) the latch mechanism
Kidco Center Gateway:
---------------------
cost $85 & extensions $24 / gate is 29.5" Tall / fits 29.25" to 37.5" doorway width / 1" bar to step over / gate opening 22"
Has the widest gate opening (the space you walk thru, not the doorway that it fits into) of any of them about 22". (This certainly won points from my 6'2" husband who was pretty irritated when walking thru some of the others). I was surprised after reading so many reviews on all these gates that there wasn't more mention of this feature.
This one also had the most secure latch feature. You have to push a button to lift the handle and lift the gate over a little ledge to open it and walk thru. I figure this will absolutely be the hardest one for my little one to figure out.
This gate has the most adjustable widths and therefore would probably be the strongest in most door widths. The gate has about 2.75" pieces on the ends that you can use or not with the optional extensions (more 2.75" spindles as additions 2 per box) to provide the most width flexibility. Because all the gates become "weaker" if the posts are extended too much, this one seems the sturdiest in my doorways. (ie. if the gate says it fits up to 37" and your door opening is 36.5", it won't seem as sturdy as if the doorway was 34").
It doesn't have its brand name printed on it anywhere (a plus in my book) so it's totally white.
It has the lowest bar across the floor that you have to step over at only 1" high (seems less of a tripping risk).
This is the one that has the highest rating from Consumer Reports. (Child safety gates 08/04)
Unfortunately, it also is the most expensive of the bunch at about $85 + any extensions you need.
I do have to say that this one had the most confusing directions, but you can still figure it out ok none of them took longer than 10 minutes to set up.
It's the shortest gate and I wish it was a little taller.
All in all, if you can afford the price of this one, it's definitely worth it!
Summer Infant Sure & Secure Extra Tall Gate
---------------------------------------------
cost $60 & extensions included / gate is 36" Tall / fits 28"-48" doorway width / 2" bar to step over / gate opening 19"
This is the one that I wanted to like because I thought it was the best deal.
The gate opening is about 19" which I thought was ok, but hubby wanted wider.
The latch mechanism is really easy to operate and I thought kids could figure it out easily, but because the gate is so tall, they would probably have a hard time reaching it.
It does come with its own extensions in 5" and 10" so it more easily fits the wider doorways.
However, depending on the width of your doorway, this one may or may not fit as well. For example, I had a lot of doorways that are about 33" and this gate didn't end up fitting well in them because the gate without any extensions was too small and the posts had to be extended so far it didn't seem stable. And the 5" extension was too big to add. (vs. the kidco gate's extensions add 2.75" as needed).
It's by far the tallest and I liked that since my daughter has been in the 95% so far. I also just like the way the taller gate looks.
It does have the highest bar across the bottom to step over 2".
If it fits well in your doorway it is probably the best value for the money.
First Years Hands-Free Gate
-----------------------------
cost $50 & extensions $15 / gate is 32" Tall / fits 29"-34" doorway width / 1.5" bar to step over / gate opening 17"
My gripe with this gate was primarily because the gate opening is only 17" wide! I'm 5'8" and I felt like I was going to have to really pay attention walking through it so I wouldn't end up bumping it every time. However...
The hands-free step pedal is pretty cool and worked pretty easily. I wouldn't worry about a little kid figuring it out and having enough weight to be able to push it down to open it. For me it just wasn't cool enough to overcome my issue with the gate opening width.
Good height to the gate.
It was very sturdy in my doorway.
This one did have a little ramp feature for the bar that goes across the floor that helps minimize the tripping factor.
Fits only up to 34" doorways so has the best chance of needing an extension.
All that being said, if you really want a hands free gate, and the width of the gate opening doesn't bug you, try this one.
All three gates seemed to:
Fit pretty tightly in the doorways after being adjusted properly. Depending on your walls and if you have moldings etc, you might need to take an extra 5-10 minutes to adjust them and get them straight and hanging correctly.
Had the same type of post for the pressure-mount that is covered with a rubbery material to help it not slip on the wall.
Were pretty easy to set up.
All look about the same from a quality point of view in other words one of them didn't look "cheaper" to me than the others.
Please remember that for safety, only hardware mounted gates are considered stable enough to put at the top of stairs, so don't use any of these for that. Think about how you will use these gates in your house and what features you will value. Good luck with your own purchase!
This Kidco center gate has been WONDERFUL so far because of the expandability (we didn't need the extension), the four independent spindles (which make for an extremely tight fit), and a 3 step process to open the gate (although frustrating, its also way more comforting knowing she can't open it).
I definitely recommend it for those who don't mind spending and are able to spend more (the cheapo is already very distorted from moving it around so much) for a gateway that is so simple you can set it up while your baby is playing with you and your husband is putting away the groceries!

However...

We bought this gate to use with our 13 month old and were very excited not have to install hardware to the wall. It was up for about 24 hours when I heard the baby cring that cry that you know they are in pain. I found her at the gate, both knees were wedged between the vertical poles. I managed to get one knee out but had to put vegtable oil on the other one to free it. She of course was screaming the whole time and her knees were bruised. Very nice design but I bought it for safety and that's not what I got. The company said they just shortened the space between the rails, but I think it's too close now seeing how her knees got stuck. Good luck to anyone trying to keep little ones out of harms way. That's a job in itself.Best Deals for KidCo Center Gateway
I needed a gate that would not only stop my adventurous climber but be easy enough for my 9 and 5 year olds to manage. It is so sturdy my 12 month old is not able to pull it down (hard as he tries) and it with-stood 7 nine year old boys going up and down the stairs at my son's birthday party. I've had other swing open gates, but this one is the best so far!Honest reviews on KidCo Center Gateway
We bought this gate because we have an old school thin metal banister on one side of our steep stairs coupled with a 6 inch tall molding on the wall on the other side, and it was very hard to find a solution to keep our one year old from speeding up the steps at will. We originally bought a cheapo that worked fine but I couldn't stand having to move it every time I was going up or coming down with my arms full, so we started shopping around. This Kidco center gate has been WONDERFUL so far because of the expandability (we didn't need the extension), the four independent spindles (which make for an extremely tight fit), and a 3 step process to open the gate (although frustrating, its also way more comforting knowing she can't open it).

My mother and Father-In-Law have this gate at the top of their staircase and my 2 year old has figured out how to open it. However, my 10 month old has not had any problems with it. The design is nice, but it was somewhat difficult to install, and seems to need adjusting quite often. We have a spring-loaded gate at home that has stayed in place, but does not swing open. I would recommend this gate if you have a child that is not yet able to climb to a standing position or pull up on it.Thursday, December 26, 2013
Reviews of Plush Puppies Fleecy Clean Ball Dog Toy - Small
I have purchased a number of the Kyjen Fleecy toys and my dog (and all his doggy friends) love them. However, the fleecy ball is not as sturdy as the braids and can be pulled apart. I purchased the size small for my 15 pound mixed breed and it didn't take him long at all (1st sitting) to partially destroy the ball. This is not true of the braided pull toys he has had those for months with no damage. Love the concept, but wish it was sturdier as it is great to use when playing fetch inside the house.
I think the idea is greatbut the fabric does not appeal to her.

My dogs love to play, and like most dogs, they also love to take their toys apart if possible. This toy lasted all of a day or so before they figured out how it was held together. We ended up with a very long piece of material with which the dogs were no longer interested. I would not recommend this toy; it just didn't hold up.Honest reviews on Plush Puppies Fleecy Clean Ball Dog Toy - Small
I have recently acquired a rescue Chihuahua. He loves this rag ball. And he has a very difficult time destroying it!
