I own two of these for my Black Russian Terriers the ten tooth and the 6 tooth both are BY FAR the best under coat strippers made bar none for the BRT's. I use the 6 tooth on my female mostly she has a thinner lighter coat my males is thick and gnarly.

I like to strip them twice a yr .....early spring and late summerMarch Sept. This allows them to regrow winter coats and stay cooler in the summer months. Be careful when you start the brush will load up if you pull the brush backwards while doing this it will clear the brush of old hair. I use this technique and in ten minutes I'm done. On a GSD or breed with less hair but thick undercoats they are perfect for stripping them clean.

It takes a little while to learn the technique so pull it through them flip it over on the back stroke then back over again on the pull stroke. This keeps the brush clean. You'll see when you try it.

Expect a gigantic pile of hair.....if you own a BRT expect a HUGE pile.

Why I chose this product over the other less expensive ones? Removable and washable cover. If you can't wash the cover I would imagine the seat will start to get an odor over time don't want that in my car, thank you. Overall, the seat is very good quality and works well for our 10 pound Maltese.

I got this for my puppy because I was taking her by myself to her vet appointments and other places. She was climbing all over me during the drive. It was not safe. I tried some other car seats for dogs, but they didn't work. I got this one and she loves it. I was going to get it ready for her one day so we could go. She got so excited, jumped in the car and on to her seat. She also will sleep in it in the house. It was a little pricey, but she loves it. I love my puppy and I want to drive safely with her so I think this bed is well worth it.

My 5 pound Morkie settled right into this comfy-seeming seat, and I love the looks of it. However, it could use a little help in the design aspect. The strap that attaches the dog's harness to the seat belt is anything but stable it slides up and down the seat belt. I hope I never have to slam on the brakes while she's sitting on it it seems like it would yank the heck out of her. The seat cushion slides back toward the back of the seat. Doesn't seem to bother the dog, but it does leave a gap at the front of the seat. And for this price, would it really have been too much to ask to include the harness? It's a cute product and it serves its purpose, but it wasn't very well thought-out. Unfortunately it's about the best option on the market.

We ordered this to help housebreak our 2 month old puppy, and he learned quickly and was accident-free in 2 weeks. The potty bells have also saved our door from a lot of puppy scratches -we just hung them on a nail beside the door and he hits them with his nose when he wants to go out. this product is well made. it actually looks good hanging on the door. i've had it for several months now and neither of my dogs ring the bell. one did it once but it was more out curiousity then anything else. now when i ring the bell, they come running. they know it means i'm letting them outside. i took care of a puppy for 5 months and tried training him as well. he never rang it either; but he too, knows when i ring the bell it's time to go outside. i will admit that once we used the bell for about a week, he would not go in the house and as soon as i rang the bell, to the door he ran.

I ordered these bells for my Catahoula puppy to put in our bedroom since we are going to give her night freedom soon. I already have two sets of Poochie Bells on other doors, but I thought these would be cuter. Unfortunately, they are also made out of a fuzzy material that my dog associates with pet toys, so instead of ringing the bells as a signal, she is more likely to tug at them since they simulate a toy. The concept works, but the material used gives it a lower star rating.

This product actually works. I was worried that my new puppy, an Australian Cattle Dog, would have accidents because she doesn't make noises at the door like my Basset Hound does. However on the first try, she realized if she touched the bells, she could go outside and potty. The only reason I don't "love" it is because it jingles every time I open the door too. :)

I used this to teach my dog to tell me when he needed to go out so that he wouldn't learn to bark instead. I didn't want my dog to scratch on the door or bark to tell me he wanted to go out, so I started early with him to touch the bell with his nose to indicate he wanted to go out. I have one at the back door, one at the top of the stairs, and one on my desk at work (he is a service dog). I trained him to "touch" to indicate he needs to go. Since he already had a schedule to go out at 11, 2, 5, 8, and 10pm, I jsut made him touch it at those times that I was going to take him anyway. He got used to touching before the door would open. Now, if he needs to go and it isn't a regularly scheduled time, he will touch the bell. I hear the sound, and I will let him out (as will my family members). I did this with my prior dogs too, but the bell I had before was a heavy sleigh bell which was just too big for a papillon. This is light enough for any sized dog to use.

Our company builds log dog bed frames, so we needed a high quality dog bed to send to our customer. This is a high quality, well constructed, dog pillow bed. Its soft and has plenty of foam/stuffing so it doesn't just go flat when the dog lays on it. Really cute pattern with the squares. This is the cutest pillow. I know that I think so, and obviously the dogs think so too. Maybe it is just that it is so comfortable. I have two medium sized dogs, Tobi and Buttons, and I purchased two pillows/beds, this one, from Amazon, and another from Petco, each one a different style. With the current sale price, this bed was about 3 dollars less. Both dogs prefer this pillow, and sleep on it alone or together, leaving the other pillow untouched. So, looks like I will just be purchasing another one! Oh yes, I did buy one for my daughter's dog "Chockie". He is a big lab, and he loves his too.

This really is an amazing product that we all fell in love with. Our dog, a poodle miniature, was a little intimidated at first due to the fact that it's rather big for her size but it only took a few seconds for her to completely love it and go right to sleep :) the stitching is very well and beautifully done and the whole inside configuration is very nice for the winter months. We are all very happy! thanks!

Just recieved the bed and I LOVE it. And, more importantly, my puppy LOVES it. I have a four-month-old Golden Retriever who seems to put on five pounds every week, and the bed thickness/size is perfect for him. I wanted to get him a bed that would (hopefully) last him until he is an adult and beyond. I really like the fact that the cover zips off so I can wash it. The cover is put together very well--great quality and really nice looking! It also has cedar chips in the mix/stuffing which deters fleas.

I would certainly recommend this bed to any dog owner. The price is amazing (especially considering the cost for a similar large dog bed at Petco), the size is perfect, and I am really happy with the quality of construction.

This item is great for mid-sized pets. I have a 9 pound tortoise that loves to ride in this carrier. I told my neighbor about this product and she bought one for herself. She loves it and her cat is 12 pounds. The top part of the carrier has 3 settings: closed can't look out, open the entire unit unzips so your pet can ride with their head out, and closed see through there is a mesh see through top that can give your animal a look outside while not allowing them to jump out.

The bag portion easily turns into a carrier by disconnecting it from the stroller from the Velcro fasteners. The stroller easily collapses by pulling on two triggers on the long bar that locks it into place. The carrier bag can also be easily secured in a vehicle using the carrier belt buckle seat in your vehicle (it does not work well with the regular seat belt with the chest cross bar, although you could maneuver it to make it fit, it is really meant for the other lap style seat belt.

It's a good stroller for around $50. The only gripe I had about it was the rear parking break on my unit kept clipping the tire. I had to shave a part of the brake off so that it wouldn't do that. Other than that, I would have given it 5 stars.

Overall, the product looks like a pet carrier and does not give the illusion that you are pushing a baby stroller.

This could be a great carrier if they fixed a couple of major problems. (These problems are big enough to rate a one star.)

The first is the break handle. It is too close to the wheel, causing it to be in the way of free wheeling. It also clicks with every spoke.

The second problem is the closing allows cats to escape. The only thing holding the front closed is the single latch in the center. It took my cats all of 2 seconds to find the escape routes and leave the carrier. I'm glad they did it before I got outside.

2/23/11 UPDATE: I did not realize one could edit their post. Having seen someone else comment about the clip/gap I want to point others to the "solution". Rather than repost, I point you to the Comment added to this posting. The instructions are at fault, but once you know how the "board" should be situated, the gap issue is pretty much resolved. I still added a little velcro, but before I found the correct way to insert the board.

ORIGINAL POST:

Shipping time was excellent, delivery beat the expected date.

The stroller and carrier are great except for one thing the front closing is only a small clip, difficult to operate sometimes, and it leaves gaps on each side that any small animal can get through, cats especially. I will have to find a way to secure it, possibly with some velcro. Other than that, this stroller/carrier is excellent, just what was needed to bring multiple kitties to the vet office. Two not-too-large kitties can fit in the large carrier which is also a plus (if they get along, two larger kitties would probably fit as well). Small dogs would also fit nicely in the carrier, probably enjoying the open air walk and would likely be less of a problem with the front gaps when the top is closed.

If the gaps were not there, this product would have gotten 5 stars.

The only other issue is the instructions leave a bit to be desired. As long as you can figure these things out, no big deal, but when it says, for instance, to assemble the rear wheels/axle by looking at the picture and no picture is provided... well...

Also, a previous comment mentions removing the carrier from the stroller via velcro straps the one I received has clips, not velcro, to hold the carrier in place. This is not a negative, the clips are sturdy and may last longer than velcro. Just noting this because the design may have changed since that review.

I purchased this carriage believing per the product description that this would hold my cat. not a chance, it would not hold anything. Number 1, The material feels like paper and in fact could rip easily. Number 2, the closure is velcro! Come on really? ... and they advertise that this is for a cat. Terrible product. A Rip-off. I cannot even return it and get my money back because i cannot find an appropriate box to ship it in. Living in NYC it would cost me more money to return it!

I love these stairs. I wanted some that wouldn't look awful or industrial in my bedroom. The micro suede look is great. For my ugh bed I needed to find 4 stairs, most have three. Measure your space before ordering! All that said....if you don't have a SMALL dog you do not want these. They are not super stable and rock a little bit. My dog was hesitant for maybe a day before she realized she could trust them. She is 8 pounds. Cheers!

Although the product review doesn't really indicate, this product is made of firm foam, exactly what I was looking for. That said, it cannot support a lot of weight as they can collapse. My 2 little ones are less than 20 lbs and do great on them. However, if you dog weight a lot more than that then they made be insufficient to hold their weight. Good price compared to stores (if you can ever find them in one!). Also bought the 3 step model at the same time. It took a few weeks for the dogs to get used to navigating on a soft step but in the end it is safer for them and easier to manage than plastic, Styrofoam or wood.

Stairs are not very strong. Dogs feel wobbly when they use them. Certainly not good for bigger dogs under 50 pounds.
